In yet another disgusting example of the moral rot infecting America’s public schools, a 25-year-old female teacher at Alexander High School in Douglas County, Georgia, has been arrested for allegedly sexually assaulting one of her students.
Maris Nichols, a biology teacher and director of the football program, was taken into custody Thursday and booked into the Douglas County Jail on two felony counts of sexual assault by a person in a position of supervisory or disciplinary authority, according to jail records and local reports.
According to arrest warrants obtained by multiple outlets, Nichols allegedly had intercourse with the underage student on two separate occasions: once on April 23 inside a school closet at Alexander High School, and again on May 2 inside a Hummer parked at the end of a driveway in a Douglasville residential community.

Deputies have arrested a Douglas County teacher accused of improper sexual conduct with one of her students.
Maris Nichols, a biology teacher at Alexander High School, made her first appearance before a judge via video on Friday. The courtroom was packed as the judge gave Nichols a $40,000 bond.
Arrest warrants alleged that Nichols, 25, had sex with one of her students twice, including one time on campus and a second time in a Hummer off campus.
Channel 2 Action News reached out to the Douglas County School System for a comment about these allegations. The district released a statement saying it is “deeply troubled” by the allegations.
“Upon learning of the alleged misconduct, the district immediately launched an investigation. Student safety is the district’s highest priority. The alleged behavior is unacceptable and violates the professional standards all employees are required to uphold,” the district wrote.
“The Douglas County School System will continue to cooperate fully with state and local law enforcement. The district cannot provide additional information regarding the allegations. Any further inquiries should be directed to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office,” the statement ended.

The remains of a missing US soldier who disappeared earlier this month during African Lion, a training exercise in Morocco, have been recovered.
Lamont Key Jr. and another US service member went missing on May 2.
The other service member, who has not yet been identified, has not been recovered yet.
“A Moroccan military search team found the Soldier in the water along the shoreline at approximately 8:55 a.m. local time, May 9, within roughly one mile of where both Soldiers reportedly entered the ocean,” U.S Army Europe and Africa said in a statement.
The two soldiers were off duty when they reportedly went missing while they were hiking.
The two fell off a cliff and into the Atlantic Ocean.
Morocco and France assisted the US in the search for the missing US service members.
“The search for the two U.S. soldiers has covered more than 4,600 square miles of sea and coastal area, said Col. Alex C. Tignor, a spokesman for the Army’s Southern European Task Force, Africa, in an email Saturday,” Stars and Stripes reported.
CBS News reported:
The body of an American soldier who went missing in Morocco has been recovered, the U.S. Army announced on Sunday. He was one of two U.S. service members who disappeared just over a week ago in waters off Morocco’s southern coast. The other remains missing, authorities said.
A Moroccan military search team recovered the body of the soldier, identified as First Lieutenant Lamont Key Jr., along the shoreline, about a mile from where both soldiers vanished in the ocean on May 2, the U.S. Army said.
The second serviceman has not been identified. Both were taking part in African Lion, an annual training exercise, although defense officials previously told CBS News the incident was not believed to be related to the exercise.

As New York City’s new Democratic Socialist (communist) Mayor Zohran Mamdani implements his new policies, there has been a lot of talk about wealthy people fleeing the city, but that is only part of the story.
Everything is connected on some level. As people leave the city, the number of children enrolled in their public schools is going to drop, which will have other rippling effects.
At some point, too much of the foundation is eroded away and things start to crumble. Then the real problems begin.
FOX News reports:
New York City’s declining public school enrollment projected to lose over 150K more as population declines
New York City’s public schools are projected to drop, mirroring the downward trend of its overall population since last year.
According to a “Statistical Forecasting” prepared for the New York City School Construction Authority, New York City is projected to lose thousands of students in the 2034-35 school year.
“Enrollment is projected to be 721,251 in 2034-35, which would be a decline of 153,000 students from the 2024-25 enrollment,” the outlet reported.
“Over the next ten years, enrollments are projected to decline in each of the five boroughs. Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx are projected to have the largest declines in the next ten years, losing 45,000, 43,000, and 35,000 students, respectively,” it added.
The projected shortfall was attributed to continuing falling birthrates, an exodus of residents, and an aging population. “Statistical Forecasting was retained by the New York City School Construction Authority (“SCA”) to perform enrollment projections for the New York City Public Schools for the ten-year period beginning with the 2025-26 school year and ending in 2034-35,” the document states…
New York City public schools lost 22,000 students this year from last year’s 906,248 students. According to preliminary Department of Education data, a total of 884,400 students were enrolled in the city’s traditional public schools. NYC had more than 1,002,000 students enrolled at the start of the 2019-2020 school year, meaning it has since lost more than 117,000.
New York City currently spends more per school student than any other place in the country and gets mediocre results on reading and math.
In the future, they may have to learn to do more with less.
As the population shrinks, so will the tax base that feeds the city’s education beast.

Now that the Virginia Supreme Court has struck down the effort by Democrats to repaint the congressional borders of the state in their favor, some people are marveling at what a consequential loss this was for them.
George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley appeared on FOX News last night and called it a ‘face-planting of legendary proportions’ among other things, noting how bad this looks for Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, especially.
She stuck her neck out for this after vowing during the campaign that she wouldn’t. Then the whole thing blew up in her face.

TURLEY: No, that’s absolutely right, Sean, and there was a host of problems, but the most glaring was that one. Virginia was always the gold standard for gerrymandering. Virginia doesn’t like gerrymandering — makes it very difficult to do so. They have a commission to avoid gerrymandering. So to get this through, they had to do a sort of bum’s rush to get this in before the midterm elections. And the Supreme Court of Virginia said, “No, we’re not going to sign off on this.”
Now, this was a face-planting of legendary size for Governor [Abigail] Spanberger. She had previously assured voters that she was vehemently against gerrymandering. And as soon as she was elected, she went to the hard left, and then asked and pushed through the most radical gerrymandering scheme in the country. And so this is a remarkable effort that has resulted in a massive loss for the Democrats. They spent a fortune to get this thing through.
HANNITY: Sixty-four, 64 million.
TURLEY: Yeah! In addition to the 64 million, they alienated half of this state.

Professor Turley is not even a conservative, but he can see all of this for what it is. A disaster for the Democrats.
They wasted tons of money and political capital on this project only to come up empty handed.
In the coming weeks, you will hear a lot of them talking about appealing this decision, but that will go nowhere. The Virginia Supreme Court is a Democrat majority court and their ruling will stand.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is launching a new project in his state that will give new parents hundreds of free diapers. Sounds great, doesn’t it? New parents need diapers. Lots of them. Win win, right?
ABC 7 reports:
California families welcoming newborns will soon receive hundreds of free diapers before leaving the hospital under a first-in-the-nation program announced Friday by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
During the program’s first year, it will be offered at about 65 to 75 hospitals that handle about a quarter of births in the state and largely serve low-income patients, Newsom’s office said. The initiative will expand to more hospitals statewide, though the governor’s office did not say how many. The state has partnered with nonprofit Baby2Baby to manufacture the diapers under the label “Golden State Start.”…
The state set aside $7.4 million in last year’s budget to roll out the initiative, and this year’s budget proposal includes an additional $12.5 million to implement the program for the upcoming fiscal year ending in June 2027.
Do you like this idea? Well, like all things Democrats offer for free, there is a catch.

During his HBO show on Friday night, Bill Maher took aim at the parade of left wing soyboys who are trying to become assassins, suggesting that what they’re really mad about is their pathetic lives.
Every once in a while, Maher gets it right and this is one of those times.
This is also the right way to deal with this problem. These people must be ridiculed, mocked, and belittled, in order to discourage others from following in their footsteps.

Tyler Robinson wrote little jokes on the bullets he fired at Charlie Kirk. Things like, if you’re reading this, you’re gay lol. I mean, John Wilkes Booth was an a**hole, but at least when he did the deed, he said something serious.
Sic semper tyrannis. Not I f*cked your mom. Cole Allen took selfies before enacting his diabolically clever plan of running fast.

As you may have noticed lately, the left is really acting out. They’re consumed with rage and there is a reason for that.
They know that many of their policies and positions are simply not popular, but they want to get their way. When they don’t, they lose their cool.
Enter conservative scholar and historian Victor Davis Hanson, who explains that because they are not getting their way, you will hear a lot more from Democrats about changing the rules. That is one of the ways they think they can win.

“It seems to me that the Democrats have lost confidence in their agenda. In other words, they don’t believe that you, the voter, really does want an open border, or you want 53 million foreign-born without audits that ensure acculturation, integration, assimilation. And the same is true of critical race theory, or critical legal theory, or the emphasis and fixations on transgenderism, or the Green New Deal,” Hanson said.
“It seems to have been disastrous had we enacted the full agenda of the left, given what the status of oil is, and we’re the largest producer of oil and gas in the history of civilization right now. You put it all together, and that message of the Democrats is not appealing. And so, of course, in the short term, their strategy has been, we’re not Donald Trump.”
“But long term, it suggests that they have two choices. They either have to change their culture and go back to more traditional lifestyles to improve their demographics, and to go back to the assimilationist model, as I think the Republicans have,” he continued. “I don’t see that happening. Or they would have to lower taxes and cut back entitlements in these blue states to retain their high earners and their upper middle class people who are, for the most part, leaving. They’re not going to do that.”
“As the historian Liddy said about Rome’s problems in the late Republic, the medicine for them is worse than the disease. They don’t want a society where a man and woman are married fairly early, with two to three children. They really don’t want a society that is racially blind, and they don’t like the idea that a lot of red people stay in their states.
They welcome them to leave. And the result of all that is, when they look at these long-term prognosis I just went over, they get very angry. And so what is the reaction? Is it to change the agenda, to win you over the vote? No, it’s to change the system.

Jesse Kelly of “The First” talked with his guest Alvin Lui about the lies the teacher unions use to deceive parents about what is really going on in public schools. They also talked about the Democrat party being a death cult.
“Joining me now, Alvin Lui, President of “Courage is a Habit,” Kelly said.
“Alvin, I’m amazed, not just at these assassination attempts. I’ve already accepted that is the way it is now. Isn’t that terrible? But just how many Democrats talk about death,” Kelly said.
“When Democrats gather together, I’ve heard it a million times, that’s how they talk. Just violent people, why?” Kelly asked.
“You know, they are just a culture of death. They are a death cult. If you look at everything they believe in, they either want to murder babies at 9 months and a day. If the baby is lucky enough to be born, they want to mutilate them, sterilize them,” Lui said.
“If they get past that, they want to turn them into useless social justice activists so that they are angry and miserable, and anybody has a difference of opinion is Nazi and needs to die,” Lui explained.
“How do you go from that five- or six-year-old and then by the time they are 15 or 16, they are screaming to protect illegal aliens?” Lui asked.
“How does that work?” Lui asked.
“That only works because we are sending them to these indoctrination centers for seven hours a day, five days a week for 13 years,” Lui explained.
“The purpose of government K through 12 is not reading writing and math. The purpose of government K through 12 is to turn them into exactly what you said at the top of the segment here, the screaming social justice activists, anything left-wing,” Lui said.
“That be kind compassion, it obviously works on a lot of young people, but man alive, does it work on young women. We really don’t fully grasp how much communists target young women and how susceptible they are,” Kelly said.
“This primarily affects females, but if you want to get more specific, it affects pretty well off, insufferable woke white women,” Lui continued.
“They are not teaching your kids, your white kids, and these white women guilt, it’s shame. This is a shame that has no redemption,” Lui said.
“The only way to do it is to continually just be the mouthpiece for whatever the legacy media tells you,” Lui said.
“How do we begin fixing the education system?” Kelly asked.
“What can I do, small or large, to stop this indoctrination system we have?” Kelly asked.
Lui explained that there are numerous things that can be done. He explained that if a parent can take their child out of public school, that is one option. He also explained that parents should be writing letters to keep administrators accountable when it comes to school closures, or issues with anti-ICE ideology.
Lui also explained that the school counselor program is a “trojan horse” that is helping to bring the radical indoctrination into the schools.

Goodbye Germany, hello Poland?
We have been reporting here on TGP about the repercussions of German Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s offensive comment about the US operations in the Middle East, and the fierce response by Donald J. Trump, as you can read in Trump Hits Back at Germany’s Merz for Suggesting that Iran ‘Is Humiliating the US’, as Foreign Minister Wadephul Tries To Walk Back the Absurd Comments by failing Chancellor.
This is an unforced error by Merz that showed his true colors and his lack of appreciation for his US allies.
In fact, Merz is failing badly as head of government, as we reported in a post on Merz’s first year as Chancellor:
“Merz’s numbers are a record low: a mid-April poll shows only 18% of voters are satisfied with his work, while as much as 80% are dissatisfied. Even the majority of Merz voters are reportedly unhappy.”

Now that the withdrawal of US troops from Germany is considered a done deal, Trump is constantly asked whether the US troops withdrawn from Germany will be moved to Poland.
Now, Trump said that Warsaw favors the idea, and he considers it to be feasible.
