Former acting CIA Director Mike Morrell admitted the Biden presidential campaign was the impetus to create the infamous letter signed by 51 intelligence officials indicating Hunter Biden’s laptop amounted to ‘Russian disinformation’.
Morrell, in a transcribed interview with the House Judiciary Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, testified that he received a call from now-Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussing the laptop story.
Blinken, who was serving at the time as a senior advisor to the Biden campaign, also emailed Morrell a story published by USA Today claiming the FBI was examining whether the Hunter Biden laptop was part of a “disinformation campaign.”
Prior to the communication with Blinken, Morrell testified that “I did not” have any intent to write the public statement that would lead to a massive media blackout of the story.
“His call triggered that intent in you?” a committee interviewer asked.
“It did, yes,” Morrell replied.

Biden Campaign Colluded With Intel Officials to Spread Actual Disinformation on the Hunter Biden Laptop
It’s not an overstatement to suggest that the Biden campaign’s efforts to collude with a former acting CIA Director to use the intel community to spread disinformation regarding the Hunter Biden laptop amount to election interference.
Russia could never have dreamed of being so effective in an effort to install Joe Biden as President and create chaos in America.
“It is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election,” the Judiciary Committee states.

In addition to the testimony implicating the sitting Secretary of State in an effort to meddle in a presidential election, Morrell also admitted to receiving a call from Steve Ricchetti, Chairman of the Biden campaign shortly after the statement had been issued, thanking him for his efforts.
He also contends that the Biden campaign helped to strategize about the public release of the statement.
Morrell’s goal, according to his own testimony, “was to help then-Vice President Biden in the debate and to assist him in winning the election.”
This was the actual insurrection. The actual coup. The Biden campaign colluded with the media to hide pertinent election information from the American people as a means to gain power.

Committee Goes After Blinken
Jim Jordan, chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and Michael Turner, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, sent a letter to Blinken requesting “all documents and communications” regarding the public statement on the Hunter Biden laptop.
In that statement, signed by 51 intelligence officials and published just weeks before the election, the authors argued that the laptop story had “all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation.”
“If we are right, this is Russia trying to influence how Americans vote in this election, and we believe strongly that Americans need to be aware of this,” they said of the New York Post’s bombshell story at the time.
In reality, those intel officials and now – clearly – the Biden campaign, were actually the ones “trying to influence how Americans vote” in that election.
They used their titles and national security credentials to lend weight to the story and suggest they had access to specialized information unavailable to other Americans.

“This concerted effort to minimize and suppress public dissemination of the serious allegations about the Biden family was a grave disservice to all American citizens’ informed participation in our democracy,” Jordan and Turner write.
Publication of the transcribed interview serves as confirmation that Representative Matt Gaetz was correct earlier this week when, as The Political Insider reported, he claimed to have knowledge that the letter dismissing Hunter Biden’s laptop as ‘Russian disinformation’ was a targeted attack on the 2020 presidential election.

On Wednesday, Russian Deputy Security Council Secretary Dmitry Medvedev threatened to equip North Korea if South Korea agreed to provide Ukraine military support. After refusing to help Kyiv for more than a year after Russia’s invasion in February 2022, South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said that his country would be willing to provide more than just economic and humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian capital. Medvedev then made his remarks.
“When their closest neighbors, our partners from the [Democratic People’s Republic of Korea] DPRK, show them the newest examples of Russian armaments, what will the citizens of this nation say?” Previously the president of Russia, Medvedev questioned.

The White House said last month that it was aware that Russia was sending food supplies to Pyongyang in return for weapons and ammunition. Moscow has been looking to North Korea for months to help it fuel its ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Medvedev, who has gained notoriety for his outrageous remarks since the invasion started, claimed that arming North Korea would be considered “quid pro quo.”
Although Yoon told Reuters on Wednesday that Seoul was looking at measures to help Kyiv defend itself and rebuild, much like it got international assistance during the 1950–1953 Korean War, South Korea has not taken any public efforts to provide deadly weapons to Ukraine.
“It might be difficult for us to insist only on humanitarian or financial support if there is a situation the international community cannot condone, such as any large-scale attack on civilians, massacre, or serious violation of the laws of war,” the South Korean president stated.

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, called the situation “unfortunate” and said that Seoul was acting in a “unfriendly” manner toward Russia. “They’ll attempt to directly involve more and more nations in this fight. According to Reuters, he said, “But of course, the beginning of arms deliveries will obliquely mean a certain stage of involvement in this conflict.”
Next week, Yoon and President Biden will meet as the U.S. and South Korea further their bilateral cooperation in the face of escalating Chinese and Russian hostility.

The city had been negotiating with the team about building a new park, but the team abruptly stopped discussions and announced their move.

Oakland Mayor Sheng Thao underlined the team’s statement by revealing that the city was “ceasing negotiations” with the A’s on a new ballpark. The move is going to take a while: the Athletics don’t expect to be playing in Vegas until the 2027 season, but it does appear certain that woke Oakland is about to lose its third and last major sports franchise…
Clearly, the A’s couldn’t stay in their deteriorating Oakland neighborhood, which has doubtless gotten much worse since 2017. But the Leftists who run the city made the search for a new ballpark a Kafkaesque adventure in bureaucratic hurdles, making the team jump through a dizzying number of hoops.
After spending years attempting to certify that its new ballpark wouldn’t harm the environment or increase global warming or heighten racial inequalities or offend transgenders or whatever, the A’s have given up and set their sights on the more business-friendly environment of Las Vegas.

Anheuser-Busch InBev has changed its marketing leadership after a disastrous marketing decision, Ad Age reported.
Woke Bud Light Vice-President of Marketing Alissa Heinerscheid has taken a leave of absence weeks after the company was criticized for its partnership with a transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
Todd Allen, VP of global marketing for Budweiser, will replace Alissa Heinerscheid as vice president of marketing for the brand, Ad Age reported.
The outlet added:

The brewer has also streamlined its marketing function to reduce layers “so that our most senior marketers are more closely connected to every aspect of our brand’s activities,” a company spokesperson said in a statement, adding that “these steps will help us maintain focus on the things we do best: brewing great beer for all consumers, while always making a positive impact in our communities and on our country.”
The statement noted that “we communicated some next steps with our internal teams and wholesaler partners,” adding that “we made it clear that the safety and welfare of our employees and our partners is our top priority.”

Bud Light’s marketing strategy has been disastrous with boycotts against the beer company by consumers.
Alissa Heinerscheid recently went on a podcast where she ripped her company and its traditional customer base while pushing the left’s woke agenda.
As Fox News reported, Heinerscheid sat down with Make Yourself at Home on March 30. During the interview, Heinerscheid explained her “mandate” to promote “inclusivity,” which is code for pursuing a woke agenda.
She also disparaged Bud Light’s past marketing efforts and by extension their loyal customer base.
“I’m a businesswoman, I had a really clear job to do when I took over Bud Light, and it was ‘This brand is in decline, it’s been in a decline for a really long time, and if we do not attract young drinkers to come and drink this brand there will be no future for Bud Light,” Heinerscheid said during podcast.
“So I had this super clear mandate. “It’s like, we need to evolve and elevate this incredibly iconic brand. And my…what I brought to that was a belief in, okay, what does evolve and elevate mean?”
“It means inclusivity. It means shifting the tone. It means having a campaign that’s truly inclusive and feels lighter and brighter and different and appeals to women and to men.”
“We had this hangover, I mean Bud Light had been kind of a brand of fratty, kind of out of touch humor, and it was really important that we had another approach.”

People have become so angry, in fact, that a major boycott has begun against Bud Light for their decision to make Dylan Mulvaney their newest brand ambassador.
Bud Light’s marketing decision quickly proved to be disastrous as many previous consumers announced a boycott against the beer company.
Country music star Travis Tritt announced he would be deleting Anheuser-Busch products from his tour hospitality rider, and music legend Kid Rock protested the company’s partnership by using cases of Bud Light for target practice.
Anheuser-Busch has certainly felt the effects of the nationwide boycott, reportedly having lost over $7 billion since the Mulvaney ad campaign hit the internet.
Anheuser-Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth released a weak statement last week.
“We never intended to be part of a discussion that divides people,” CEO Brendan Whitworth said.
“We are in the business of bringing people together over a beer,” he said.

Experts in infectious diseases and public health officials are on high alert following the announcement of a new COVID-19 variant XBB.1.16, also known as Arcturus, by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The WHO is keeping an eye on the new omicron subvariant, which has been found in over 20 countries (including the United States) and is believed to be responsible for the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases in India.
Health officials have now confirmed the first death linked to the new COVID subvariant.
According to Dr. Supakit Sirilak, director-general of Thailand’s Medical Sciences Department, an old man who was not identified recently passed away in Thailand. He stated that the deceased was “an elderly foreigner” with preexisting medical conditions.
“His death, therefore, may not directly reflect the severity of this subvariant but rather its impact on other risk factors,” Sirilak said.

Arcturus, which is a subvariant of Omicron, was first seen in India and has been on the World Health Organisation’s watchlist since the end of March. Prof Dr. Yong Poovorawan, who heads the Centre of Excellence in Clinical Virology at Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Medicine, said to PBS it will inevitably become Thailand’s dominant subvariant soon.
Russian health watchdog Rospotrebnadzor announced on Tuesday that it detected its first of several cases and said it may have “greater contagiousness.”
Rospotrebnadzor’s statement continued: “But is not characterised by high pathogenicity. That is, the disease caused by it proceeds in a mild form”.
The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (in the US), said Arcturus is causing 7% of coronavirus cases in the country. Meaning it is now in second place behind its cousin Omicron. Indonesia has reported five new cases of Arcturus subvariant.
The new variant is reportedly 1.2 times more infectious than the Omicron variant, according to a study by the University of Tokyo published on the biology research website bioRxiv. Dr Vipin Vashishtha, the former head of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics Committee on Immunisation, tweeted that pediatric cases of Covid were on the increase for the first time in six months.
Conjunctivitis – an eye infection causing redness, itchiness and swelling in the eyes – has also been present in paediatric cases. Mayo Clinic viral disease expert Matthew Binnicker, Ph.D., told The Seattle Times: “One new feature of cases caused by this variant is that it seems to be causing conjunctivitis, or red and itchy eyes, in young patients.
“This is not something that we’ve seen with prior strains of the virus”.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley blasted a Newsweek reporter on Twitter after he emailed her team to inquire about the color of the dress she wore to her daughter’s recent wedding.
On Sunday, Haley posted a picture from the wedding that showed her with her family, including her new son-in-law.

On Friday, Newsweek’s Gerrard Kaonga penned a story headlined, “Nikki Haley’s Dress at Daughter’s Wedding Sparks Debate.”
Prior to publishing the piece, Kaonga emailed the former South Carolina governor to ask for comment.
“I wanted to reach out for comment following a slight backlash after Haley shared images from her daughter’s wedding,” he wrote to a representative of Haley.
He concluded, “Some have argued Haley should not have worn her dress as it is too close to the bride’s white. Does Nikki Haley have any comment regarding this? Did she and her daughter discuss and decide the dresses they would be wearing ahead of the ceremony?”
Haley did not respond to Kaonga, but she did post a screen shot of his request for comment on Twitter.
The presidential hopeful used the email as a demonstration of the way the establishment media treats conservatives.
“This is why people don’t trust the media,” Haley tweeted. “Liberal ‘journalists’ spend their time harassing conservatives about outfit choices. Grow up, [Newsweek].”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently slammed Biden’s border policy, indirectly, by claiming that the migrant crisis is ‘destroying’ the city.
There is no denying that Biden is responsible for this. The border has been under assault since the day he assumed office.
Southern governors should keep sending people to NYC until Adams is ready to call out Biden directly.

Mayor Eric Adams raged on Friday that the ongoing surge of migrants into the Big Apple has “destroyed” the city — as he delivered his most impassioned plea yet to the Biden administration for help dealing with the flow of immigrants into the city.
Hizzoner, who earlier this week blasted the White House for turning its back on NYC, sounded the alarm on the multi-billion-dollar cost to the Big Apple budget during a visit to Washington, DC on Friday, where he plans to press the administration for federal aid.
“The city is being destroyed by the migrant crisis,” a distressed Adams said before his scheduled meeting, during a panel discussion hosted by the African American Mayors Association.
He also took aim at other elected Big Apple officials in his remarks, saying: “And none of my folks came to Washington DC to fight for the resources that’s going to undermine every agency in our city.”
Adams didn’t mention that city Public Advocate, Jumaane Williams, had traveled to DC on Wednesday to ask federal officials for additional migrant funding aid.
