West Virginia Governor Jim Justice, a Republican, is gearing up to launch a Senate bid for Sen. Joe Manchin’s seat.
Justice will formally announce his campaign on Thursday evening at The Greenbrier in Sulpher Springs, according to a report from Politico.
According to the report, Justice was “heavily recruited by the National Republican Senatorial Committee and has been in contact with Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell.”
McConnell has made it clear that he intends to endorse the governor.
Gov. Justice will face off against Rep. Alex Mooney in the Republican primary. Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz have already endorsed the state representative.
“I’m proud to endorse Alex Mooney for the U.S. Senate in West Virginia,” Cruz said in his endorsement on Friday. “Alex is a friend, he’s a fighter and a strong conservative who will ferociously defend the Second Amendment, be a champion for American energy, prioritize bringing jobs to West Virginia, and faithfully and aggressively represent the values of the Mountain State in the Senate.”
Mooney is a member of the House Freedom Caucus and is largely considered more right-wing than Justice. The governor was elected as a Democrat before he switched parties.
Though West Virginia is a deeply red state, Manchin has held on to his office since 2010. He has not yet announced if he intends to run for reelection.
Trump won West Virginia in 2020 by 39 points and both Justice and Mooney are likely to seek his endorsement.

Judge Rules Chicago Employees Fired For Not Getting Vax Must Be Reinstated, Repaid For Lost Wages And Benefits
Chicago residents just got a win against tyranny.
Administrative Law Judge Anna Hamburg-Gal ruled that the City of Chicago violated the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act after imposing the vaccine mandate without negotiating with unions representing the workers.
The Judge said that the city did not bargain in good faith.
The fired workers must now be reinstated and repaid any lost pay and benefits, plus 7% annual interest.
The Chicago Sun Times reported:
Unionized city of Chicago employees fired or disciplined for violating COVID-19 vaccination requirements must be reinstated and repaid for any loss of wages or benefits, a state hearing officer has ruled.
The decision in a case before the Illinois Labor Relations Board applies to city workers represented by trade unions or by the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. The unions banded together to challenge regulations Mayor Lori Lightfoot imposed starting in 2021.
Administrative Law Judge Anna Hamburg-Gal said the city violated the Illinois Public Labor Relations Act by not bargaining in good faith over vaccine requirements and changes in sick leave policies. Her ruling, issued Wednesday, requires the city to “make whole” workers who lost pay and benefits, plus 7% annual interest.
The ruling is a broad rebuke of Lightfoot’s get-tough policies on city workers who resisted vaccination mandates, but it’s not known how many employees were penalized. One source said a few dozen employees may be directly affected by the decision.
The American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees celebrated the ruling saying, “We think it’s a strong decision and favorable for worker rights generally.”
The Epoch Times reported:
A spokesperson for AFSCME told news outlets: “We think it’s a strong decision and favorable for worker rights generally.”
A spokesperson for the mayor’s office said the ruling “was an erroneous decision that does not follow the law, facts nor importantly the science” and that the city was considering its next steps.
Hopefully, more vaccine mandates are stopped in court!

Red Cross Launches Weird Initiative to Urge Gamers to Stop Committing War Crimes in Games Set in Conflict Zones
The Red Cross has launched an initiative to urge gamers to stop committing war crimes in first-person shooter games.
The organization’s “Play by the Rules” campaign was launched on its Twitch channel last week.
“Every day, people play games set in conflict zones right from their couch. But right now, armed conflicts are more prevalent than ever,” the Red Cross website for the initiative states. “And to the people suffering from their effects, this conflict is not a game. It destroys lives and leaves communities devastated. Therefore, we’re challenging you to play FPS by the real Rules of War, to show everyone that even wars have rules—rules which protect humanity on battlefields IRL.”
To get attention on the effort, the Red Cross partnered with gaming influencers to stream themselves playing games like Fortnite, Call of Duty: Warzone, Rainbow 6 Siege, PUBG Battlegrounds, and Escape from Tarkov — while playing “honorably.”
The rules include “no thirsting,” meaning that when an enemy is down and can’t respond, you can’t keep shooting at them; no shooting NPCs; no targeting civilian buildings, and use medical kits on everyone — including the people you are trying to beat in the game.
“If you have an unused med kit that works on others, you must give it to those who need it—be they friendly or enemy,” the Red Cross says. “The Rules of War mandate that the sick and wounded—no matter which side they’re on—have the right to be cared for.”
RT reports that “while digital violence is likely far from the minds of victims of its real-world equivalent, this is the second time the Red Cross has found time to put together such a campaign in the past decade. The NGO hosted an event in an Arma III module called Law of War in 2017 that saw gamers discard their weapons and play as humanitarian workers, assuming a set of responsibilities that included responding to people in crisis, defusing landmines, and submitting to journalists’ interviews. The release raised $176,667 for the ICRC.”
“The NGO began investigating whether the Geneva and Hague conventions could be applied to video game depictions of war in 2011, calling on governments to impose regulations forcing developers to limit violations like torture, extrajudicial executions, attacks on civilians, and other atrocities if they could not be convinced to do so voluntarily,” the report continued. “Facing backlash for spending its time fretting over virtual genocides rather than preventing real ones, the ICRC argued it had plenty of staff to do both and sought to reassure gamers they would not be hauled in front of any war crimes tribunals.”

Oracle Will No Longer Collaborate with the GDI After the Company Is Identified in Lawsuit for Targeting Conservative Media Advertisers (Like TGP’s)
Oracle says it will no longer collaborate with the Global Disinformation Index (GDI) after the company was mentioned in a lawsuit against the GDI blacklisting conservative media.
The Gateway Pundit discussed GDI in recent articles on the website. Global Disinformation is an industry for the radical globalist left. Several organizations today are working to censor and silence outlets with honest and accurate conservative content.
On April 7, TGP shared a report from investigative journalist Bob Bishop regarding the Global Disinformation Index. Bishop wrote:
The public is awakening to social media censorship (Twitter and Facebook) and the extreme bias of prominent media outlets (i.e., the New York Times) promoting and supporting the Federal and state governments’ narratives and totalitarian behavior. An emerging and highly destructive new strategy is “blacklisting” independent conservative media to defund them of advertising revenue, leading to their financial demise. The mission of the Disinformation Index (“DI”), with its U.K. parent organization, Disinformation Index LTD. (“GDI”), is to defund conservative online news sites with claims of alleged disinformation. GBTDI disinformation focus is LBGT, climate denial, election fraud, illegal immigration, the RussiaUkraine border conflict, abortion, the Biden family’s foreign business dealings, and anti-vaccine content. The organizations invert facts and truth to create an adversarial political narrative.
Their rating system creates a blacklist shared with major advertising companies and advertising exchanges, including Google and Microsoft, to shut down disfavored speech by defunding advertising. These companies contract with GDIDI for information on who to target for defunding. When comparing GDI’s risk sources, the bias is highly apparent.
This list omits The Gateway Pundit (TGP) and Breitbart which are constantly targeted by these organizations.
It turns out that the GDI is now being sued and as a result, Oracle will no longer collaborate with the entity. Zerohedge and the Washington Examiner are on the story as well.
…software giant Oracle announced on Wednesday that it will no longer collaborate with GDI, which has received just under $666,000 from the US State Department between 2020 and 2021. The news comes one day after GDI was cited in a lawsuit against the Biden administration which claims the government has colluded with big tech to censor free speech.
This same British entity, which has two affiliated United States nonprofit groups that have come under fire for shielding information from their 2021 tax forms, was cited in a Tuesday friend-of-the-court brief filed by Alliance Defending Freedom in State of Louisiana v. Biden — a lawsuit filed in May 2022 that claims the government has colluded with Big Tech to stifle discourse online. -Washington Examiner
“All signs point to a growing government influence over social media,” reads the brief. “The Biden Administration admitted as early as 2021 that it was flagging and reporting posts on Facebook, YouTube, and other platforms as COVID-19-related ‘misinformation.’ A recent report found that the U.S. State Department sent $330 million [sic] to The Global Disinformation Index, a British organization that is attempting to discredit and blacklist many conservative news outlets for peddling ‘disinformation.’”
Kaminsky notes that the brief mistakenly attributes $330 million sent to the National Endowment for Democracy to the GDI, when in reality the NED has granted money to GDI out of the $330 million. Following the Examiner‘s reporting on the grants, the NED announced in late February that they were cutting off funding to GDI.
Louisiana v. Biden was brought forth by Republican attorneys general Jeff Landry of Louisiana and then-Missouri’s Eric Schmitt, now a senator for The Show-Me State. The lawsuit alleges that the Biden administration infringed on the public’s First Amendment Rights through its efforts working with Big Tech employees to engage in content moderation related to election integrity, COVID-19, Hunter Biden’s infamous abandoned laptop, and more.
For instance, Landry released a document in January showing that the White House urged a Facebook employee in April 2021 to restrict posts about Fox News host Tucker Carlsonclaiming that there have been efficacy issues with “vaccines.” The White House also told Facebook in May 2021 that “slowing down” posts appearing to be “anti-vax” would be “reasonable,” and also urged Twitter to remove a post by anti-vaccine critic Robert Kennedy, Jr., who recently announced his Democratic bid for White House in 2024, documents show. -Washington Examiner
“Government should be freedom’s strongest defender, not its greatest threat,” said senior counsel for Alliance Defending Freedom, Travis Barham, in a Wednesday statement. “Americans don’t look to the White House or Silicon Valley to discover and express the truth. That’s not the role of government, and it certainly isn’t the role of Big Tech.”
Oracle, meanwhile, told the Examiner that it would no longer maintain a relationship with GDI, which they had previously announced a 2021 collaboration with in order to engage in “brand safety.”
“After conducting a review, we agree with others in the advertising industry that the services we provide marketers must be in full support of free speech, which is why we are ending our relationship with GDI,” said Michael Egbert, vice president for corporate communications at Oracle.
This is good news. These monsters on the left must be dealt with. This cannot continue.

Fetterman Admits He Was ‘Not the Kind of Senator’ Pennsylvania Deserved While He Was Hospitalized for Depression
Sen. John Fetterman has admitted that he was “not the kind of senator” Pennsylvania deserved while he was hospitalized for depression.
Fetterman made the remarks during an interview with NPR, in which he also said that doctors had advised him to stay away from news reports and social media — despite being a senator.
“I thought every night when I was laying in bed when I was in the hospital — like what if I just would have done something about this before, and I could kick myself and I just think about how my family wouldn’t [have been] put through it and my constituents,” Fetterman said. “But now that I am back, I’m really committed to … letting people know: to anyone that has any of these feelings, there’s a path, and you can get better.”
Fetterman suffered a severe stroke during his campaign last year, which left him unable to hold conversations without using closed captioning. NPR noted that he was using it during the interview.
Fetterman admitted that he did not take time to recover from his stroke before taking office.
“After I won, I still felt that depression — like, I felt lost,” he said. “I wasn’t elated. I wasn’t happy about it. I was relieved that it was over. But at the same time, I never had the opportunity to recover from the stroke, and I had depression, and a lot of just the stress and everything. [I] really wasn’t able to address it.”
Fetterman started his term being unable to properly serve, but the glowing interview praised him for being open about his depression.
“I was so depressed that I didn’t even realize I was depressed,” he said. “I didn’t even understand it. This, to me, just became the new normal. I wasn’t realizing [that] I wasn’t eating. I didn’t realize that I wasn’t really drinking much.”
The senator also admitted, “I dropped 25 pounds. And sometimes I would say things, incoherent things, and I would become kind of just [disoriented], and getting lost walking around in Washington.”

“They All Live in Fear of Trump. It’s a Cult.” – Announcer Bob Costas on CNN Referring to the GOP
Bob Costas is like the athlete who starts a fight with his top fans. He was like a clown in a circus in his recent interview on CNN.
In another brilliant interview, Bob Costas took time to berate President Trump and Americans who want to make America great again.
Joe Biden is destroying America in every way. The economy is in shambles, with record credit card debt, record US debt, 40-year high inflation, and banks failing and on the brink.
Biden’s foreign policy is to destroy the US as well. Biden surrendered Afghanistan to the Taliban and only a few days later stepped into Ukraine and as a result the world is on the brink of WWIII.
Bob Costas doesn’t care. He’s clearly on the far-left and is not afraid of sharing it.
Costas was on CNN and he took the opportunity to berate the largest political base in US history.“They all live in fear of Trump. It’s a cult. It’s not a principle, it’s not a philosophy, it’s no longer a party so much as it is a cult.”- Bob Costashttps://t.co/anITvCLTBr

New Zealand’s Strongest Man to Compete in Women’s Powerlifting Contest to Protest Allowing Transgender Biological Men to Compete
New Zealand’s strongest man has registered to compete as a woman in the Global Powerlifting New Zealand Day of the Deadlifts competition to protest gender self-identification rules.
Dale Shepherd, 52, holds nearly two dozen national records in competitive weightlifting — which he has been doing for roughly four decades.Day of the Deadlifts only comp. Dale holds numerous NZ male records & has also broken world records. Dale knows he’ll easily break the female record & is doing this to highlight the absurdity of allowing self ID in sport & to help force a rule change.
We hope he is successful.
— Save Women’s Sports Australasia (@SWS_australasia) April 14, 2023Shepherd applied to participate as a woman for the event in June.
“It is important to me that both transgender athletes and biological women both have the ability to compete in sports,” Shepherd told Reduxx.
“However, regardless of hormone treatment such as giving a biological male estrogen – the hormone primarily responsible for female characteristics – it does not totally negate all the years that male has had with higher testosterone levels resulting in greater bone density, tendon and muscle strength. As such biological women are at a significant disadvantage,” he continued.
“To maintain equity and preserve women’s sports, transgenders and biological women must have their own separate classes or eventually all women’s sports will be overtaken by biological men who now identify as a woman.”
According to the Reduxx report, the Global Powerlifting Committee of New Zealand (GPCNZ) appears to be scrambling to keep Shepherd out of the competition — even going so far as to change their rule book to say that he is ineligible.
The report points out that in their 2023 Rulebook, the Global Powerlifting Committee of New Zealand (GPCNZ) recognizes self-declared gender identity. In a section of the guidelines titled “Transgender Athletes,” GPCNZ states that “gender is presented on a spectrum” and that the organization “respects the autonomy of the individual and how they identify.”
“An archived version of the official website dated March 30 does not display the GPCNZ rules for trans-identifying competitors, instead leaning heavily on self-identification,” the report explains. “But, after submitting his application and declaring himself a ‘woman’ for the purposes of the competition, Shepherd was hastily sent an email and told he was not allowed to self-identify as transgender and must have been on estrogen for at least one year to compete.”
Shepherd is challenging their decision to exclude him.

“It’s a Settlement That Never Should Have Happened…Something Else Had to Have Been Involved.” – Harvard Professor and Attorney Dershowitz on FOX Settlement with Dominion
The likelihood of FOX News winning a case with Dominion was better than 50% says Harvard professor Alan Dershowitz.
Attorney and Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz was on Lindell TV last night with Brannon Howse to discuss the FOX News and Dominion settlement that was announced this week.
FOX News agreed to pay Dominion Voting Machines $787 million in a settlement. This astronomical amount was shocking to all who read about it.
Dershowitz shared that the most shocking thing about this settlement is “that it happened”
It’s a settlement that should never have happened. Dominion wasn’t hurt. It really didn’t lose any money… It’s probably making more in its lawsuits than counting votes. And it would have been very hard for them to prove any damages.
Also, the judge made errror, after error, after error. For example, he made a ‘finding’, a finding that the election was fair. 40 million Americans disagree with him. That should have been left up to a jury not to him…
…And so the judgement itself to make a deal was not based on cost-benefit financial analysis. Something else had to have been involved. Maybe FOX was afraid of disclosure of even more dirty laundry.
Dershowitz says the judge basically said he believe’s CNN over FOX and that’s not the job of the judge.
See more below:Joe Hoft shared a number of issues from his article this past week at TGP after Dershowitz was on. These questions are consistent with what Dershowitz shared.
HUGE: FOX News Filing Shows DOMINION Voting Systems Executives Including Eric Coomer Knew Its Voting Systems Had Major Security Issues, Was Hacked, and Was “Riddled with Bugs”These questions in the above article and a video segment of election expert on electronic voting machines were discussed with Howse.

During a recent airing of his podcast that featured author Sam Tallent, Rogan defended Bud Light for hiring “goofy” transgender Dylan Mulvaney in their most recent marketing campaign.
Rogan stated “what they (Bud Light) are doing is just spreading the brand to an extra group of people.”
The Host of the Joe Rogan Experience continued “Why if something is good do you give a f*ck, who has got it.”

WSJ: Jeffrey Epstein’s Ties to JPMorgan Chase & Co. Deeper than Bank Has Acknowledged
JPMorgan Chase & Co.’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein were much deeper and extensive than what the bank has acknowledged.
The relationship between JPMorgan and Epstein also lasted years beyond when the bank announced they were closing the sex offender’s accounts.
The bank also reportedly met with Epstein for years after his first conviction.
Banking officials held meetings at Jeffrey Epstein’s New York City townhouse between 2014 and 2017.
Reuters reported:
The bank has said it shut the convicted sex offender’s accounts in 2013, but its bankers were still meeting with him years later, people familiar with the matter said.
JPMorgan Chase & Co. had ties to Jeffrey Epstein that ran deeper than the bank has acknowledged and extended years beyond when it decided to close the convicted sex offender’s accounts, according to people familiar with the matter.
Mary Erdoes, a top lieutenant to Chief Executive Jamie Dimon, made two trips to Epstein’s townhouse on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, in 2011 and 2013, when Epstein still was a client of the bank, said the people familiar with the matter. She exchanged dozens of emails with him and discussed sharing with him fees related to a charitable fund the bank was considering launching, the people said.
John Duffy, who ran JPMorgan’s U.S. private bank for the ultrarich, went to Epstein’s townhouse for a meeting in April 2013, the people said. One month later, the private bank renewed an authorization allowing Epstein to borrow money against his accounts despite repeated warnings from compliance staffers about his unusual banking practices.
Justin Nelson, one of Epstein’s bankers at JPMorgan, had about a half-dozen meetings at Epstein’s townhouse between 2014 and 2017, the people said. He also traveled to Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico in 2016, the people said.
