The four Artemis II astronauts arrived in Florida today (27), in the final phase of preparations for the historic mission.

“NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover and Christina Koch, along with Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen, are set to launch from Kennedy Space Center as soon as April 1 aboard NASA’s towering Space Launch System (SLS) rocket, riding inside an Orion crew capsule built to carry humans into deep space. The roughly 10-day mission will ​send the crew on a high-speed loop around the Moon and back.”

“Artemis II will be ⁠the first crewed mission of NASA’s multi-billion-dollar Artemis program. While it will not attempt a moon landing, it will send astronauts farther from ​Earth than any previous human spaceflight, testing the Orion spacecraft’s life-support systems, navigation, communications, and heat shield performance.”

The crew has trained for more than ​two years, and have been in quarantine at NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston since March 18.
Now they will move into NASA’s Astronaut Crew Quarters in Florida until the launch.

Last week , when a college student in Chicago named Sheridan Gorman was murdered by an illegal immigrant, a Democrat Chicago Alderwoman named Maria Hadden blamed the victim, suggesting that Gorman was in the wrong place at the wrong time, or that she might have startled the shooter.

The backlash to the alderwoman was so severe that she has closed her office for the time being.

A Chicago alderwoman closed her office for the rest of the week in response to backlash over comments that a slain college student was in the “wrong place at the wrong time,” citing safety concerns.
Sheridan Gorman, 18, was killed March 19 around 1 a.m. when she was on a pier in the city’s Rogers Park area, just north of Loyola University Chicago, where the freshman attended college.
The suspect in Gorman’s murder, 25-year-old Jose Medina-Medina, an illegal immigrant from Venezuela, was apprehended by the U.S. Border Patrol May 9, 2023, then released into the U.S. under the Biden administration, according to the Department of Homeland Security.
After the shooting, Alderwoman Maria Hadden suggested in an interview with Fox 32 Chicago that Gorman was in the “wrong place at the wrong time,” adding that she might have “startled” the individual accused of killing her.
In a Facebook story posted on Wednesday, Hadden announced her office would be closed for the rest of the week due to safety concerns.
“My team and I are taking these precautions to ensure our safety and ability to maintain the level of service that you expect of us. I am still working as usual and will be out and about in our ward this week,” she wrote.

Last night, when we told readers that this appearance was going to happen, we mistakenly thought that Trump was going to make an in-studio appearance and we are sorry for getting that wrong.
One thing we were not wrong about however, is that liberal host Jessica Tarlov would not be there and she wasn’t. We even suggested that Kennedy would be a better choice for that seat and that is exactly what happened.
One of the funniest moments from Trump’s appearance came when he talked about Jessica Tarlov, totally dunking on her. The other hosts tried to hold it together, except Greg Gutfeld, who had to put his head down on the table.

During the interview, Jesse Watters invited Trump to the set at some point in the future when Tarlov, the show’s liberal co-host, is present.
“Mr. President, the next time you do this on The Five, can we have you on set?” he asked. “Because we really want you to sit next to Jessica. I think you’d be a good influence on her. Can you do that?”
“Well, I think– I watch Jessica, and I’m not a fan,” Trump replied as the co-hosts laughed. And she uses fake numbers. She’ll give, ‘Well, he’s only polling [at] 42%.’ That’s not right. Polling very high, actually. You know, polls are just like– I hate people that use fake polls because polls are just like bad journalists. You know, bad journalists, they write fake stories. Well, fake polls do damage also. But that’s the thing. I’m sure I’d like her. I’m sure she’s a lovely person.”
“She’s a lovely person,” Watters replied. “We’re working on her. Don’t worry.”

Trump Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said during a cabinet meeting today that Joe Biden’s Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg allowed trucking schools to ‘self-certify.’ He compared it to the ‘Quality Learing Center’ in Minneoplis.
If this is accurate, it would go a long way in explaining the sudden rash of fatalities involving immigrant drivers on American highways.
In the video below, Duffy says:
“If you can’t understand road signs, if you can’t communicate with law enforcement, when you’re pulled over and communicate what’s on your rig, huge problem.”
“But the last administration, Mr. President, they let truck driving schools self-certify. They were qualified to train truck drivers. And so this is like the learing center, where you could pay $800 and uh, you’d get a certificate that you had passed a CDL driving school, and they have no skills, they don’t have the knowledge and they haven’t gone through any of the testing.”
“And then they get licenses and they’re killing Americans on our roads.”

Their negligence endangered every family on America’s roadways, and it ends today,” said U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean P. The State of Minnesota has filed a lawsuit against the Trump Administration in its ongoing attempt to investigate ICE and CBP agents who were involved in shootings during law enforcement activities.
The incidents include the shooting deaths of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, two crazed leftists who attacked ICE agents, and Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, a criminal illegal alien who was wounded while attacking ICE agents in northern Minneapolis in January.
Minnesota is suing for evidence and information on the shootings, for which the FBI previously denied state investigators access.
On Thursday, Tim Walz discussed the lawsuit on MSNow, revealing that he is working with the American Civil Liberties Union, pro-immigrant groups, and even the UN to build his case, while accusing the Trump Administration of human rights abuses.
He further trashed President Trump, stating that he will continue fighting for so-called justice until “the final days of this administration and beyond.”

After an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent shot and killed Renee Good, a 37-year-old mother of three who’d recently moved to Minneapolis, local law enforcement officials requested a partnership with the federal government to investigate the case, as they’d done in past shootings involving federal agents.
This week, prosecutors from Hennepin County and the state of Minnesota took the next step to force the Trump administration’s hand. They filed a federal lawsuit against the departments of Homeland Security and Justice over the evidence in the shootings, an action that Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty, whose jurisdiction covers Minneapolis, characterized as “unprecedented in American history.”
The Trump administration has declined to release the names of the agents involved in the shootings, even after the Minnesota Star Tribune and ProPublica identified the officers involved in the Good and Pretti incidents.
“The federal government has refused to cooperate with state law enforcement, which is unique, rare and simply cannot be tolerated,” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison told reporters. “[We] can’t sit around and let them do it.”
State prosecutors are also potentially weighing charges for the agents involved in shootings. “State prosecutors across the country are going to be watching what happens in Minnesota really closely,” Alicia Bannon, director of the judiciary program at the Brennan Center for Justice, said.

No man will grab an Olympic medal from a woman under a new policy unveiled Thursday by the International Olympic Committee.
Under the new policy, genetic testing will be required to ensure only women compete in women’s categories, according to The New York Times.
The decision will take effect with the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
“As a former athlete, I passionately believe in the rights of all Olympians to take part in fair competition,” IOC president Kristy Coventry, a former gold medal Olympian, said in a statement posted on the IOC website.

“The policy that we have announced is based on science and has been led by medical experts. At the Olympic Games, even the smallest margins can be the difference between victory and defeat,” she said.
“So, it is absolutely clear that it would not be fair for biological males to compete in the female category. In addition, in some sports it would simply not be safe,” she said.
“Every athlete must be treated with dignity and respect, and athletes will need to be screened only once in their lifetime. There must be clear education around the process and counselling available, alongside expert medical advice,” she said.

The decision drew a yelp of outrage from Payoshni Mitra, executive director at Humans of Sport, according to the Times.
“This kind of brutal language doesn’t protect sports — it polices women’s bodies,” she said. “It fuels suspicion, invites public scrutiny and puts already vulnerable athletes at risk.”
The Trump administration noted that President Donald Trump had galvanized action after issuing an executive order banning men from women’s sports in America.

“The IOC aligning their policy with President Trump’s Executive Order ahead of the 2028 LA Games is common sense and long-overdue,” White House representative Davis Ingle said, according to The Washington Post.
The IOC document explaining its decision said men are born with physical advantages over women that are retained, according to CNN.
In comments posted to Inside the Games, Coventry noted that the policy was about “the protection of the female category in Olympic sport.”
She said the “policy is foundationally based in science and it’s been led by medical experts and it’s been done with the best interests of athletes right at the heart.”
“We know that this topic is sensitive,” she continued, adding that the goal of the new policy is that “athletes are looked after, that athletes have the ability to compete on a fair and level playing field, and that is what I believe we have done.”

President Trump has asked NATO and Asia for help securing the Strait, but they refused. The countries quickly rebuffed his demands and instead called for and instead urged the United States to end the war.

“This was a great test because we don’t need them, but they should have been there,” he said, noting that “we as the United States have to remember that, because we think it’s pretty shocking,” he said.

A federal judge on Thursday blocked the Trump Administration from forcing the Pentagon and every federal agency to cut ties with Anthropic.
Judge Rita Lin, a Biden appointee said Trump’s ban is a First Amendment violation.
The judge halted her ruling for a week to give the Justice Department time to appeal her decision.
Last month, President Trump ordered every federal agency to cease use of Anthropic AI after the company refused to comply with the Pentagon’s demands.
“THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA WILL NEVER ALLOW A RADICAL LEFT, WOKE COMPANY TO DICTATE HOW OUR GREAT MILITARY FIGHTS AND WINS WARS! That decision belongs to YOUR COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF, and the tremendous leaders I appoint to run our Military,” Trump said.
“The Leftwing nut jobs at Anthropic have made a DISASTROUS MISTAKE trying to STRONG-ARM the Department of War, and force them to obey their Terms of Service instead of our Constitution. Their selfishness is putting AMERICAN LIVES at risk, our Troops in danger, and our National Security in JEOPARDY,” Trump said.
“Therefore, I am directing EVERY Federal Agency in the United States Government to IMMEDIATELY CEASE all use of Anthropic’s technology. We don’t need it, we don’t want it, and will not do business with them again! There will be a Six Month phase out period for Agencies like the Department of War who are using Anthropic’s products, at various levels. The Pentagon previously blasted Anthropic and its conversational AI assistant, Claude.
“The Department of War has no interest in using AI to conduct mass surveillance of Americans (which is illegal) nor do we want to use AI to develop autonomous weapons that operate without human involvement. This narrative is fake and being peddled by leftists in the media,” Pentagon spox Sean Parnell said.
“Here’s what we’re asking: Allow the Pentagon to use Anthropic’s model for all lawful purposes,” Parnell added.
“This is a simple, common-sense request that will prevent Anthropic from jeopardizing critical military operations and potentially putting our warfighters at risk. We will not let ANY company dictate the terms regarding how we make operational decisions. They have until 5:01 PM ET on Friday to decide. Otherwise, we will terminate our partnership with Anthropic and deem them a supply chain risk for DOW,” he said.

Judge Rita Lin said her order does not require the Pentagon to use Anthropic and Claude, but blocking federal agencies from using the company is unconstitutional.
“For example, this Order does not require the Department of War to use Anthropic’s products or services and does not prevent the Department of War from transitioning to other artificial intelligence providers, so long as those actions are consistent with applicable regulations, statutes, and constitutional provisions,” the judge wrote in her order.

High profile Democrat officials like Chuck Schumer have tried to gaslight the American people by claiming that they do actually support voter ID, but making up excuses to vote against the SAVE Act.
Now, their gaslighting is officially over. They are on the record voting against the cleanest voter ID amendment possible.
The Gateway Pundit reported,
Senate Democrats on Thursday blocked a common-sense amendment that would have required voters to show a simple photo ID to cast a ballot.
Despite Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer’s recent “pinky-promise” that Democrats aren’t actually opposed to ID requirements, his party voted in lockstep to kill the measure, according to CBS News.
The amendment failed to reach the 60-vote threshold, dying in a 53 to 47 vote. The radical Left once again chose to keep the door wide open for potential fraud.
The amendment, introduced by Jon Husted, would have required voters to present a government-issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license, passport, military ID, or tribal ID, when casting a ballot.
If the Democrats won’t support this amendment they wont support anything.
There is no more room for debate, the Democrats stand in direct opposition to the will of the people, including those in their own party, who overwhelmingly support voter ID.
