Dunn protected my staff, my office was a target of all of this. Our staff had to go behind closed doors in the dark under tables with furniture pushed up to the door because they were banging on the door to get in to hurt them. I’ll never forgive them for the trauma they caused not only my staff but all the staff on Capitol Hill, these young idealistic people,” Pelosi said.

However, NASA astronaut Don Pettit cleared up those rumors by revealing the object was just a potato.
In a post on X, Pettit wrote, “I flew potatoes on Expedition 72 for my space garden, an activity I did in my off-duty time.”
“This is an early purple potato, complete with a spot of hook Velcro to anchor it in my improvised grow light terrarium,” added Pettit.

President Trump will deliver remarks tonight at the annual National Republican Congressional Committee fundraising dinner in Washington, DC. 
The event, hosted by the House GOP fundraising committee, will be held at Washington, DC’s Union Station.
This comes as Senate Republicans, led by RINO Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD), struggle to whip support for the SAVE America Act.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Thune suggested Republicans may resort to reconciliation to bypass Democrat obstruction and pass the SAVE America Act with just 50 votes plus Vice President JD Vance.
However, Thune has faced blowback from House Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) and Senator Mike Lee (R-UT), who say that the move would fail due to Senate rules and the Senate Parliamentarian’s veto power.

The director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) has again referred New York Attorney General Letitia James to the U.S. Department of Justice for criminal prosecution, proffering allegations that New York’s top cop may have falsified information on her homeowner’s insurance application.
The FHFA Director William Pulte, who oversees Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, and the Federal Home Loan Banks, asked U.S. Attorneys in Florida and Illinois on Wednesday to “authenticate and investigate” the information, according to two letters reviewed by Just the News.
In December, a federal grand jury in Virginia declined to Letitia James for mortgage fraud.
It was the second time federal prosecutors failed to secure an indictment against Letitia James after her other case was dismissed by a Clinton-appointed judge.

“Democrats in Congress are forcing American travelers to wait in hours-long lines at airports across the country, robbing TSA officers and other federal workers of their hard earned paychecks that they use to feed their families, and causing billions of dollars in damage to our economy,” Leavitt said before highlighting the human cost and impacts on families missing paychecks, including a father of three who questioned how his family would survive.
“For the Democrats in Congress, the cruelty of this shutdown is the point. Nearly 500 TSA officers have quit since the Democrat shutdown began,” she said.

Afterward, she went off on the Democrats’ motive of seeking to “inflict massive pain on their own constituents to fight for illegal aliens who broke our nation’s laws to come here,” further highlighting the “deadly consequence” felt by Americans and the family of 18-year-old Loyola University student Sheridan Gorman. The teen was shot and killed near campus in Chicago, Illinois, over the weekend by a 25-year-old illegal alien from Venezuela who entered the US under the Biden Regime.
“To make matters even worse, this monster was also released from local custody again after a shoplifting arrest. Where? In the sanctuary city of Chicago in June of 2023,” Leavitt said. But according to Illinois Governor JB Pritzker, whose policies allowed this violent killer to roam free, Trump is to blame for Gorman’s death. As The Gateway Pundit reported, Pritzker credited “a failure to have comprehensive immigration reform” and “a failure of the president to follow his own edict to go after the worst of the worst” for the murder.
Leavitt slammed Pritzker and sanctuary state Democrats for their refusal to cooperate with ICE and the lawless policies of releasing illegal aliens back onto the streets.
“How many more Americans have to die before the Democrats end this madness?” she said.

The suspect in custody for murdering her is a Venezuelan illegal alien who was caught and released at the border by the Biden administration in May of 2023. Why would the Biden administration catch and release of Venezuelan illegal alien?
That is not happening anymore under this President, but there are still 10s of 1000s, if not millions, of these illegal aliens in our country, who seek to do harm to innocent Americans like this beautiful young woman whose family will now never be the same because of her death. To make matters even worse, this monster was also released from local custody again after a shoplifting arrest.
Where? In the sanctuary city of Chicago in June of 2023. Again, another innocent American citizen had her life stolen from her because Democrats embrace reckless open border policies and reckless sanctuary city policies, which put criminals back into American communities. How many more Americans have to die before the Democrats end this madness?
President Trump’s position is very clear: He wants the federal government opened, he wants the Department of Homeland Security funded, and he wants the Democrat shutdown to end immediately. The President will also continue to call on Democrat leaders in sanctuary cities and states like JB Pritzker, where this young, beautiful girl was murdered, to cooperate with ICE and stop releasing illegal alien criminals into American neighborhoods.
