Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) decided to shoot his mouth off on Easter Sunday about President Trump before an old video emerged showing what a fraud he is.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump took to Truth Social on Easter Sunday to tease a massive operation that is coming this Tuesday unless Iran finally opens the Strait of Hormuz:

As TGP readers know, Iran has blocked oil shipments and the flow of shipping in the waterway, driving oil prices sky-high across the world.
Trump has asked NATO and Asia for help securing the Strait, but they refused.
A furious Murphy responded to Trump’s provocative post by insinuating that the President was mentally incompetent and should be removed from office.
Specifically, Murphy demanded that members of Trump’s cabinet stab him in the back and invoke the 25th Amendment.
“If I were in Trump’s Cabinet, I would spend Easter calling constitutional lawyers about the 25th Amendment,” he whined.
“This is completely, utterly unhinged. He’s already killed thousands. He’s going to kill thousands more.”

But X user Western Lensman hit Murphy with a devastating reminder about what he said two years ago about Joe Biden.
During a February 2024, “Meet the Press” appearance, Murphy gushed about how “incredibly competent” and “incredibly effective” the obviously senile Biden was.
“Listen, I’m someone who has worked intimately with the President,” Murphy said. “I know that he is ready for this campaign; I have seen how effective he is up close and personal.”

Of course, Biden proved those criticizing his mental faculties correct four months later with arguably the worst debate performance in American history. He was then forced out of the 2024 race a few weeks later.

Senator Dave McCormick was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to talk about the amazing rescue of a downed F-15 airman in Iran.
“Senator, welcome back. Your reaction to this rescue mission?” Bream asked.
“What an Easter miracle,” McCormick said.
“There are just so many heroes in this story. The fact that the President, the Secretary of Defense, the Chairman, and the military leadership would do anything necessary to get this airman back on our side, back home,” McCormick said.
“As a soldier, when you are going into enemy territory, to know that the American people and America is going to do everything it can to get you home is critical,” McCormick said.
“We have the heroes in the intel community who use misdirection to take the Iranians in a different direction and who also identified where this man was, which made the operation possible,” McCormick continued.
“We had hundreds of special operators and aircraft in the region, and then this guy, this airman, was an absolute hero. He climbed 7,000 feet. When the planners were trying to identify where he was, they couldn’t imagine that he was both injured and was able to get to that point where he could be eventually rescued,” McCormick explained.
“A remarkable operation that only America, only the American military, and the American intel community could pull off,” McCormick said.
“I think just a continuation of the demonstration that we have seen over the last six weeks of America’s unique military capability,” McCormick continued.
“What does it tell you about where we are with the capabilities of Iran’s missile launching, their air defenses. The fact that they do still have some tools in their belts?” Bream asked.
“I think you really have to step back. Five Presidents have essentially said that we cannot let Iran have a nuclear weapon, and that Iran building up its capabilities in the region has to be checked,” McCormick said.
Senator McCormick said that it was President Trump who took action against the Iranian regime in order to keep America safe.
“This President has taken leadership to systematically eliminate this threat to America’s allies, to the American people,” McCormick said.

This was Barack Obama’s way of destabilizing the Middle East. And Obama did this all in public view. Well, most of it.
This was a direct threat against Israel and American allies in the region. Obama always brought chaos with him and left a trail of destruction. He took actions to spread this chaos and evil across the Middle East.

It was such a dangerous move that the Saudi leader is now openly condemning Obama’s dangerous actions in the region.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman delivered one of his most direct public assessments of the Iranian regime, describing it as a purely ideological project with no interest in serving its own people and every interest in funding terrorism and destabilizing the region.
His evidence was concrete. Iran received $150 billion in sanctions relief yet did not build a single street, residential complex, or industrial facility for its citizens. Every dollar went toward launching missiles at Saudi Arabia and financing terrorist organizations across the world.
MBS went further than most Western leaders have been willing to go publicly, stating directly that Iran’s support for terrorism extends well beyond Hezbollah and the Houthis. He noted that senior Al-Qaeda leaders are residing inside Iran today, including Osama bin Laden’s son, who was raised in Iran and is now positioning himself as the next leader of Al-Qaeda.
The Crown Prince said Saudi Arabia has no ambiguity about these dangers and is actively coordinating with partners on how to address them to keep the Middle East, Europe, and the broader world safe from what he called these destructive ideologies.
The statement represents one of the clearest and most comprehensive public indictments of the Iranian regime from a sitting Arab head of government, delivered at a moment when Iran is simultaneously firing missiles at Saudi territory and running proxy networks from Beirut to Khartoum to Sanaa.

Kristen Welker, the Harvard-educated host of NBC’s “Meet the Press,” made an elementary error on Sunday that any regular follower of politics would easily avoid.
Welker was holding court with a panel discussing the ongoing DHS shutdown orchestrated by the Democrats when she seemingly forgot that someone was running the department.
“There’s the fact that there is no head of DHS right now at a time when DHS is shut down,” Welker says.
That would certainly come as alarming news to millions of Americans if it were true.

Thankfully, Welker’s statement is completely false. Had she bothered to do her homework, she would have known that Mullin was sworn in as DHS Secretary back on March 24.
Former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson then responded without bothering to correct Welker’s error. Instead, he discussed pieces of legislation that could potentially reopen the federal government.

While it may be fun to mock Welker, it’s important to remember that millions of Americans watch her show and consider her a reliable source of information.
An incident like this should also encourage conservatives to go on left-leaning shows like “Meet the Press” if only to fact-check the hosts.

While little is currently known about the incredibly brave second F-15 pilot/WSO who survived after being grounded, we now know what he said after being ejected from the aircraft.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the second pilot/WSO from the downed F-15 fighter jet on Friday was saved in an on-ground US rescue mission Saturday night, which involved an epic and grueling battle with Iranian forces.
The pilot was successfully rescued and exfiltrated following an intense firefight. He was injured after ejecting himself from the F-15 but is now safe.
Fox News’s Jennifer Griffin revealed that no Americans were killed during the operation.
The Fox News journalist additionally noted that different branches of the US military were involved in the rescue.
“It was a very complex operation to retrieve the downed service member,” a well-placed source told Griffin.
Several videos emerged on X showing the mission’s difficulty and violence.
During an interview with Axios, President Trump went into more detail about the mission.
This included the fact that the U.S. at first worried that a message from the stranded pilot of the F-15 shot down by Iran was a trap set by the Iranians to lure U.S. forces into a bloodbath.
Trump also revealed the pilot gave a short message on the radio that seemed ‘unusual.’
“He said, ‘Power be to God,’ ” Trump told Axios.
“What he said on the radio sounded like something a Muslim would say,” the president added.
A U.S. defense official later confirmed Trump’s account but said the phrase was actually slightly different: “God is good.”
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth also posted “God is good” on X this morning.
God was indeed good not only to the courageous pilot but also to all of the soldiers who took part in this daring rescue mission.

Gavin Newsom’s radical, ultra-feminist wife looks sure to cause him plenty of headaches when he starts running for president, especially when one takes into account what she said about Pam Bondi’s termination as U.S. Attorney General last week.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Bondi’s employment was terminated in a surprising shakeup and replaced in the interim by Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche. Bondi will transition to another role in the Trump Administration.
The president has reportedly discussed replacing Bondi with EPA Chief Lee Zeldin.
This news came following reports that Trump was mulling firing Bondi over her handling of the Epstein file release.
Jennifer Newsom responded to the ouster on Instagram by comparing it to Kristi Noem’s last month. Newsom claimed that it was ‘unsurprising’ the first two Trump Administration firings were women.
She went on to whine that conservative women in Trump’s administration align themselves with an agenda that pushes women back into a “straitjacket of femininity that is only in service of men” and lifts up women “as long as they commit to wholeheartedly serving the interests of the patriarchy at the top.”
Newsom then closed her rant by uttering the time-worn cliche that this is all “a war on women.”

NEWSOM: Trust me, I’m not a fan of Pam Bondi nor Kristi Noem. But I need to call out that it’s no surprise to me that the first two prominent people pushed out of this administration were women.

There is a familiar pattern here. Women are brought packaged Mar-A-Lago style and lifted up as long as they commit to wholeheartedly serving the interests of the patriarchy at the top.
Now it looks like power, but it never comes with job security and protection. There’s no secure place inside this handpicked patriarchal body that systemically disrespects, devalues, and discriminates against women and girls.
When you align yourself with a leader who has devalued women, degraded women, and found liable of abusing women, guess what? You’re gonna be the first to go.
No woman is safe in Trump’s Republican Party unless she has enough wealth or the ability to buy her own job security and safety. So friends, regardless of your political affiliation, you might want to wake up and see this for what it truly is: It’s a war on all women.

Former President Barack Obama reminded Americans on Easter Sunday why he was known as “The Great Divider” during his presidency and why he prompted people to question his faith.
As TGP readers know, Easter is the most holy day for Christians. They use this day to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ and his ascension into Heaven three days after he was crucified and descended into Hell.
He died for us all so we could be saved.
Obama posted what, at first glance, appears to be a harmless Easter message wishing people a “joyful holiday.”
“To everyone celebrating Easter, Michelle and I wish you a joyful holiday filled with reminders of the enduring power of faith and hope,” Obama wrote.

President Donald Trump is making one thing crystal clear, while he believes U.S. troops on the ground in Iran are not necessary right now, absolutely nothing is off the table as tensions escalate and the clock ticks down on Tehran.
In remarks to ABC News, Trump delivered a blunt message to the Iranian regime: make a deal, or face devastating consequences.

“If it happens, it happens. And if it doesn’t, we’re blowing up the whole country,” Trump said.“Very little” is off limits, he added.

Trump dismissed earlier timelines suggesting a longer runway for negotiations, instead signaling that events could reach a decisive conclusion imminently.

While Trump emphasized that U.S. ground troops are not currently necessary, he refused to tie his hands, leaving open the possibility of escalation if diplomacy fails.

It can be recalled that last month, President Trump was reportedly weighing the deployment of ground troops to Iran along the coast of the Strait of Hormuz or Kharg Island.
Citing four sources, Reuters reports that thousands of ground troops could be deployed to secure the Strait of Hormuz, take over Iran’s oil-exporting capabilities on Kharg Island, or to contain Iran’s highly ​enriched uranium stockpile. However, a ground invasion is likely not imminent.
“There has been no decision to send ground troops at this time, but President Trump wisely keeps all options at his disposal,” one Trump Administration official said.
“The ​president is focused on achieving all of the defined objectives of Operation Epic Fury: destroy Iran’s ballistic missile capacity, annihilate their navy, ensure their terrorist proxies cannot destabilize the region, and guarantee that Iran can never ​possess a nuclear weapon.”
Meanwhile, it’s being reported that Israel will not commit any ground troops to the potential mission.
Per JFeed:

Channel 12 quoted official sources as stating explicitly: “In case of a U.S. ground operation in Iran, Israeli soldiers will not be participating on the ground.”

According to the report, any potential U.S. ground mission would be carried out exclusively by American forces. Israel would continue to provide airstrikes, intelligence sharing, and limited special-operations support, but it has drawn a firm red line against committing ground troops.

Former Vice President and failed 2024 presidential candidate Kamala Harris recently said that ‘we cannot allow’ President Trump to choose more justices for the United States Supreme Court.
Harris was reacting to a recent piece in the New York Times that featured quotes from the far left group Demand Justice, which is currently freaking out about the possibility that Trump could get to pick not one but two more justices for the court.
It’s not entirely clear what authority Harris thinks she has to make such a statement. It is likely that she is just trying to show solidarity with the radical left in case she decides to run again.

In a post on X, Harris — who lost the 2024 Presidential election against Trump, shared an article from the New York Times about how a “liberal organization” was “preparing a multimillion–dollar effort to oppose potential Trump Supreme Court appointees before they happen.”
The New York Times reported that Josh Orton, who serves as “the president of Demand Justice,” predicted that “the project would cost $3 million to start and $15 million more if vacancies occurred”:
