MSNBC Reidout host Joy Reid is on a hot streak stoking the flames that seek to divide, with her top targets this week being ads about Jesus that ran during Super Bowl LVII and, of course, a running favorite of hers, Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
While some of us look forward to watching the highly anticipated Super Bowl commercials more than the game itself, Reid decided to rain on everyone’s parade in typical fashion. What could be so offensive that this was required?
Two ads promoting the love and humility of Jesus Christ from the Gospel.
‘He Gets Us’ Jesus Themed Super Bowl Ads
The offending ads are part of The Servant Foundation’s “He Gets Us” campaign. According to the website, “He Gets Us” is “a movement to reintroduce people to the Jesus of the Bible.”  The two Super Bowl spots cost the Servant Foundation more than ten million dollars.
The first ad, entitled “Love Your Enemies,” speaks directly to the state of our nation. Which means it also speaks counter to those who would seek to divide.

The second ad, “Be Childlike,” focuses on living with the humility, compassion, and gentleness of children like Jesus did, asking, “What can we learn from his example today?”

Joy Reid Takes Aim at Super Bowl Ads About Jesus
The group’s website describes them as “a diverse group of people passionate about the authentic Jesus of the Bible.” Reid, however, describes them as a “LGBTQ hate group” and denounces the Christian group for leading ” fights against abortion.”
Reid took aim at the campaign’s “backers”, making a point to name Hobby Lobby founder David Green as a donor, noting his status as a funder of “right-wing religious causes.” Her disdain for Christian causes was on full display as she snipes, “Because his brand has really just never been built before.”
Reid’s final blow came in the form of, “And I think it is fair to say Jesus Christ wouldn’t spend millions of dollars on television ads promoting his image.”
However, “He Gets Us” spokesperson Jason Vanderground explained why they saw Super Bowl LVII as a perfect platform for their message.
“It fits with our target audience really well,” Vanderground told The Associated Press about the ads. “We’re trying to get the message across to people who are spiritually open, but skeptical.”
Not surprisingly, Reid found any ally in hate in Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Fellow liberal AOC sniped, “Something tells me Jesus would *not* spend millions of dollars on Super Bowl ads to make fascism look benign.”
Joy Reid Sets Her Sights on ‘Racist’ Ron DeSantis
Reid’s mockery of the Jesus-themed Super Bowl ads was merely an amuse bouche before sinking her teeth into this week’s main entrée. Her whale of the week of Republican Florida governor Ron DeSantis.
DeSantis has made himself a prime target of leftist media with his sweeping reforms that run counter to the current liberal agenda. So of course, this is not Reid’s first time attacking the popular Republican governor.

Reid invited MSNBC analyst former Republican congressman who left the party David Jolly to join in her DeSantis bashing. Reid starts by accusing DeSantis of directly and specifically attacking “black people, brown immigrants, gay & trans people.” Jolly piles on by calling “dangerous” and suggesting the Republican wants to take America back 50 years.

Reid then doubled down on her attacks against DeSantis in another MSNBC appearance.
“Ron DeSantis has been waging a full-scale war against the black past and only the black past, and I think that’s an important point… DeSantis is hurting students who aren’t black…It’s illegal to make white people feel uncomfortable in Florida,” she said.

Those are some harsh words and serious allegations. What could spark such ire?
Ron DeSantis Announces Higher Education Reform Targeting Diversity and Equity Programs
The Florida governor recently introduced a series of reforms targeting diversity, equity, and inclusion departments in higher education. The move directly threatens to claw back the inroads made by progressives with critical race theory and other programs rolled out under the guise of “equity.”

“We are going to eliminate all DEI and [critical race theory] bureaucracies in the state of Florida – no funding, and that will wither on the vine,” DeSantis said. “That’s very important because it really serves as an ideological filter, a political filter people want to see true academics, and they want to get rid of some of the political window dressing.”

Once enacted, state funding would be cut off from diversity, equity, and inclusion departments at state universities. State-funded universities would also no longer be allowed to require diversity statements during the hiring process. 
Taking the higher education reforms a step farther, DeSantis also proposed requiring new core classes that are “grounded in actual history [and] the philosophy that has shaped Western civilization.”

DeSantis’s latest reforms follow a commitment earlier this month by 28 Florida university presidents to end all DEI and CRT related programs that are discriminatory or “compels belief in critical race theory or related concepts such as intersectionality.”

While it’s disturbing that MSNBC continues to give Reid a platform to spew her nonsense every day, it’s certainly not surprising, given how radically liberally biased the network is. As long as MSNBC keeps people like Reid on TV, the network should not be surprised if it continues to struggle in the ratings.

A multi-agency Operation Lone Star task force actively pursuing human smuggling operations in the small border community of Kinney County saved several people’s lives this week, including a 5-year-old girl stashed inside a car trunk.
In response to an SOS issued by Kinney County Sheriff Brad Coe, Goliad County Sheriff Roy Boyd helped arrange a multi-agency task force to lend a hand. On Monday, officers from over 20 agencies began identifying and interdicting human smuggling routes and actively interdicting criminal activity.
On Wednesday, The Center Square participated in a ride-along with a task force interdiction unit.
In one pursuit, officers apprehended a driver and passenger with criminal records who’d previously been apprehended by DPS a few months earlier and were released, before coming back to try another smuggling attempt, authorities said. They were caught by Kinney County Chief Deputy Armando Garcia, who pulled the driver over for probable cause and discovered that five people were crammed in the back seat of the car laying flat on top of each other, including a 4-year-old underneath everyone else. When the officers opened the trunk, they said they discovered a 5-year-old girl was hidden inside.
She was unresponsive at first but Garcia and his two deputies revived her and saved her life. The alleged smugglers were attempting to reach Houston. If the child had been in the trunk the whole way, she’d have likely died, law enforcement officers told The Center Square. The driver and passenger were arrested. They later confessed and officers discovered they had pictures of stacks of cash they’d taken stored in their phones to show how much they’d profited from smuggling people from the border to other major cities in Texas, law enforcement officers told The Center Square. Major smuggling destinations, they’ve found, are Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, the Bronx, New York, and New Jersey.

Federal prosecution was accepted on the driver and passenger and the illegal foreign nationals being smuggled were turned over to Border Patrol, authorities said.
In a pre-dawn pursuit, officers pursued another alleged smuggler who lost control of his truck and crashed into a fence off of Highway 334 and a fire started. Officers arrived on the scene and pulled three illegal foreign nationals out of the vehicle before it was engulfed in flames. While the deputies saved the foreign nationals’ lives, the driver and one foreign national absconded into the brush.

Earlier in the week, on their first day of the multi-day operation, officers engaged in a pursuit, which led to the driver and those inside bailing out of the vehicle and running into the brush, authorities said. Officers pursued them on foot and apprehended them. In another pursuit on the same day, an alleged smuggler led officers through downtown Brackettville, where the sheriff had placed large boulders outside the school to prevent vehicles crashing into it. The driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled over. The driver and everyone inside tried to evade capture but law enforcement officers apprehended them and the driver was arrested. Those being smuggled were turned over to Border Patrol.
On Tuesday, officers again interdicted two human smugglers, authorities said. One common tactic used to smuggle people is to hide them in the bed of a pickup truck and conceal them under the truck bed cover. In one incident, officers pulled over the driver of a Dodge pickup truck and later discovered one passenger was a “brush guide.”
A brush guide is someone who’s responsible for guiding a group of foreign nationals who’ve illegally entered the U.S. north from the border to major highways and an eventual pickup point, authorities told The Center Square. They travel several miles on foot using GPS on their phones, traverse private property and follow pipelines or railroad tracks to avoid law enforcement. When they reach a pre-arranged designated spot, a driver picks up the group and takes them to their next destination.
In this case, those being smuggled were hiding in the truck bed, authorities said. The arresting officer opened the tailgate of the truck and found five people were crammed inside iding under the cover. The driver and passenger were apprehended and arrested and those being smuggled were turned over to Border Patrol.

On a ride along with an officer on Wednesday, The Center Square observed a possible scout being pulled over from Austin. Scouts are paid by cartel operatives to drive in areas along the border to identify where law enforcement officers are and report back their locations to smugglers so they can avoid them when bringing a load of people north, officers explained.
In another instance, one teenager and one young man in two separate vehicles from Houston were driving around downtown Brackettville. When the teenager was pulled over, upon inspection, the officer discovered that in his possession were xeroxed copies of photo identifications of Honduras nationals – likely individuals waiting to be picked up to be smuggled north, the officer said.
By Wednesday night, deputies in another pursuit caught an alleged smuggler who was believed to have picked up those who’d absconded from a previous bailout, all single Mexican national men in the U.S. illegally, authorities said.
“If it wasn’t for Gov. Greg Abbott, Operation Lone Star, caffeine and patriotism, we wouldn’t get it done,” Coe said.

The U.S. Congressional Budget Office, the official budget projection resource for the federal government, released a string of alarming figures in its latest projections this week.
CBO projects the deficit will nearly double in the next decade, reaching $2.9 trillion by 2033. The annual deficit for the next decade will average $2 trillion.
The federal debt held by the public will rise “from $24.3 trillion at the end of 2022 to $46.4 trillion at the end of 2033.”
“As a percentage of GDP, that debt is projected to stand at 118 percent at the end of 2033 – about 21 percentage points higher than it was at the end of 2022 and about two and a half times its average over the past 50 years,” CBO said.
The gross federal debt is projected to hit $52 trillion by 2033.
A surplus of new federal spending could worsen those figures.

The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget raised the alarm over these latest numbers.
“As a share of GDP, debt will grow from 97 percent at the end of FY 2022 – already more than twice the historic average of 47 percent seen over the last half-century – to a record 107 percent of GDP by 2028. It will continue to grow thereafter, topping 118 percent of GDP by the end of 2033,” the group said in a statement. “This is substantially higher than predicted in CBO’s May 2022 baseline, which had debt reaching 110 percent of GDP by the end of 2032. Over the longer run, CBO projects debt will reach 195 percent of GDP by 2053.”
The group argues cutting federal spending is a must to address the problem.
“Spending on health, retirement, and interest will grow rapidly while revenue fails to keep up,” the group said in a statement. “Spending will grow from 23.7 percent of GDP in 2023 to 25.3 percent by 2033, while revenue will fall to a low of 17.4 percent of GDP in 2025 before rising to 18.1 percent in 2030 and beyond. Interest costs alone will reach a record 3.6 percent of GDP – $1.4 trillion – by 2033.”

The troubling debt projections come as Congress faces the more immediate deadline of raising the debt ceiling. The federal debt surpassed $31 trillion last year.
Treasury Secretary Janet L. Yellen sent a letter to Congressional leaders in January notifying them that the agency has begun taking “extraordinary measures” as the federal government hits that $31 trillion debt limit.
That means Congress has until about June to raise the debt ceiling or potentially default on U.S. debt obligations for the first time ever.
Some Republicans are pushing to use the deadline as a tool to force spending cuts, though others are wary of risking a default or of the political blowback that may ensue.

Text messages made public through a court hearing on Thursday show some of the Fox News Network’s top hosts decrying former President Donald Trump’s advisers and their election fraud claims as “insane.”
The correspondence and testimony were made available as part of an ongoing $1.6 billion defamation lawsuit filed by Dominion Voting System against Fox News.
“Sidney Powell is lying by the way. I caught her. It’s insane,” Tucker Carlson said in a text message to Laura Ingraham, scarcely two weeks after the election.
Powell, along with Rudy Giuliani, were two of Trump’s top lawyers who filed election challenges on the former President’s behalf, and they are part of the lawsuit.
“Sidney is a complete nut,” Ingraham replied. “No one will work with her. Ditto with Rudy.”
Carlson remarked that their claims were putting hosts in a difficult spot because their best intentions were leading them to believe what some of Trump’s team were alleging.
“Our viewers are good people and they believe it,” he wrote.

Fox News Hosts, Execs Dismissed Election Fraud Claims
Further text messages showed the hosts felt they were in a quandary – they personally believed the claims to be false but wanted their viewers to decide as opposed to openly rebuking the allegations being put forth.
Carlson referenced a tweet by reporter Jacqui Heinrich which fact-checked a tweet by Trump criticizing the network coverage. Heinrich argued there was no evidence of voter fraud from Dominion.
“Please get her fired,” Carlson said in a message to Sean Hannity. “It needs to stop immediately, like tonight. It’s measurably hurting the company. The stock price is down. Not a joke.”

Previous testimony by Hannity has him declaring he “did not believe it for one second” in regard to statements by Powell that Dominion machines were being used “to trash large batches of votes.”
Proving defamation will be a difficult burden for Dominion, as The New York Times reports that they must prove “hosts and executives knew what was being said on the air was false and allowed it anyway.”
This is an incredibly slippery slope considering opinion hosts at other networks like CNN and MSNBC surely know many of their guests are lying on certain subject matters.
If Trump were to sue CNN over the Hunter Biden laptop story, would the phones and devices of those network hosts be seized in discovery? Would they be held responsible for someone like James Clapper hinting that it was ‘Russian disinformation’?

Carlson Criticized Fox News
Carlson took a swipe at his own network when colleague Neil Cavuto cut away from a press conference held by Kayleigh McEnany and RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel regarding alleged voter fraud in November of 2020.
McEnany claimed that the Trump campaign “want(s) every legal vote to be counted, and we want every illegal vote …” before Cavuto interjected.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa – I just think we have to be very clear,” he said. “She’s charging the other side as welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting.”
“Unless she has more details to back that up, I can’t in good countenance continue to show you this.”

Carlson took a subtle jab at Cavuto and his own network for making the decision to cut away from McEnany.
“In a democracy, you can’t ignore honest questions from citizens,” Carlson said.
“You can’t dismiss them out of hand as crazy or immoral for asking,” he continued. “You can’t just cut away from coverage you don’t like.”

Carlson had also been critical of Fox News for what some supporters of Trump had considered a premature call of Arizona in favor of Joe Biden on election night, 2020.
“I’m not privy to the math, I’m not certain how, even after the explanation from Chris Stirewalt, how that decision was made,” Carlson criticized. “I think our viewers trust us, but people are concerned.”

If this lawsuit succeeds, and the new standard for journalists or opinion show hosts is that you can’t air anything you personally believe to be false, there would be nothing to report on.

Cam Edwards, editor of Bearing Arms and host of the 40 Acres & a Fool podcast, sat down with our own Brett Smith to discuss the left’s ongoing war against the Second Amendment.
The conversation quickly dipped into the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) latest “ruling” on so-called stabilizing braces. 
Edwards explained that the stabilizing brace, as its name suggests, “provides more stability for the shooter” and was originally designed as an aid to gun owners with a disability.
But an arbitrary ruling by the ATF that just went into effect on January 31st subjects pistol-stabilizing braces to additional regulations, including higher taxes, longer waiting periods, and registration.

The argument by gun control advocates is that the brace transforms a pistol into a short-barreled rifle, something heavily regulated under the National Firearms Act.
“In order to possess one of those you have to register with the government, you have to pay a $200 tax stamp, and if you don’t it’s a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine,” Edwards explained.

Cam Edwards Explains Current Affairs Surrounding the War on the Second Amendment
The ATF’s stabilizing brace ruling was so onerous that it prompted Florida Representative Matt Gaetz to introduce legislation banning the government agency.
If the government wants to restrict certain types of firearms, theoretically they have that power. Through Congress, by altering or outright abolishing the Second Amendment, not through bureaucratic rulings.

“I think it’s part and parcel of a strategy on the part of the ATF and their allies in the gun control movement to try to rewrite the law through a government agency rather than a vote by Congress,” Edwards said.
He then added it is seemingly an attempt by the movement “to see [what] the courts will let them get away with.”

Assault Weapons Are Just Any Gun They Want to Ban
Bearing Arms editor Cam Edwards also tackled the far-reaching ban on so-called assault weapons in Illinois, signed into law last month by Democrat Governor J.B. Pritzker.
The law almost immediately prompted the filing of lawsuits, including one by the National Rifle Association, and the Illinois State Rifle Association, which argue the ban is a violation of the Second Amendment.
Smith and Edwards point out that phrases such as ‘assault weapon’ and ‘large capacity magazines’ are essentially “made-up terms.”
“I’ve always said that the real definition of assault weapon is ‘gun they want to ban,’” quipped Edwards.

“That is, I think, their ultimate goal,” Edwards continued. “To ban as many guns as possible by labeling them assault weapons.”

The podcast host noted it is “laughable” to think criminals care at all about these laws.
“These laws are meant to dissuade law-abiding gun owners from exercising a constitutional right,” Edwards added, pointing to the lawsuits currently ongoing in Illinois.

Nikki Haley slammed CNN’s Don Lemon as a sexist, middle-aged anchor after the host claimed women in their 40s and 50s are past their prime.
Lemon, who apparently now fancies himself an authority on women, made the comments during a Thursday broadcast of CNN This Morning.
He was responding to Haley’s call for “mental competency tests” for politicians over the age of 75.
“This whole talk about age makes me uncomfortable. I think it’s the wrong road to go down,” Lemon elucidated. “She says people, you know, politicians are something if not in their prime.”
He then dropped this pearl of wisdom: “Nikki Haley isn’t in her prime, sorry. A woman is considered to be in their prime in 20s and 30s and maybe 40s.”
Co-host Poppy Harlow pressed Lemon on whether or not his definition applied to a woman’s age being “prime for child bearing” or “prime for being president.”
Lemon argued that his definition of prime years was a “fact” because he looked it up on Google. And that right there, is the guy CNN believes is the most qualified male co-host for their morning program.

Critics Fire Back at the CNN Host
Reports surfaced indicating colleagues at CNN were ticked off over Don Lemon’s idiotic comments about Nikki Haley.
“People are definitely upset about it,” one insider told Fox News Digital while another described it as “a stupid thing to say.”
The New York Post reported that Harlow actually walked off the set following the exchange, describing it as “a ‘well-timed’ bathroom break.”

Other women clearly still in their prime, if not simply beginning their prime, took aim at Lemon.
Author Janice Dean suggested Haley use the clip of Lemon’s sexist remarks as a campaign ad and scoffed, “And [CNN] wonders why they are hemorrhaging viewers.”

Podcast host Megyn Kelly accused Lemon of having engaged in “a pattern” of making “sexist” comments to his female colleagues.
“I don’t know how much longer CNN can allow this to go on,” she said.
“I’m so irritated by this guy, and, honestly, his misogyny — and I don’t use that word about a lot of people — but there’s a pattern with him,” claimed Kelly. “The absurdity of suggesting that a woman is past her prime when she is 51 years old, like Nikki Haley.”

Don Lemon Apologizes, But Doesn’t Mention Nikki Haley
Whatever you may think about Nikki Haley the politician, she is most certainly not past her prime. Nor is any woman her age or even well beyond.
Lemon issued a non-apology apology after criticism mounted over his comments. It’s as cowardly as you would expect it to be.
The CNN host described his comments as “inartful and irrelevant” which honestly should be the tagline of the entire network at this point.
“A woman’s age doesn’t define her either personally or professionally,” Lemon stated. “I have countless women in my life who prove that every day.”

Lemon, of course, didn’t mention Haley – the woman in her prime that he insulted – by name, nor did he tag her in the apology tweet.
But that didn’t deter the Republican presidential candidate from absolutely smoking him in response.

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania has officially checked himself into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for treatment regarding severe depression.
In a statement issued by Fetterman’s chief of staff, Adam Jentleson, Fetterman has experienced depression “off and on throughout his life” and the burdens that come with the life of a senator have not made it easier.
While anyone with two braincells who has seen ten minutes of Fetterman since he ran for Senate against Doctor Oz last year can tell that the man is not physically or mentally fit to serve in any public office, his health still continues to be somewhat taboo to discuss despite the fact that his own people have said that his “special needs” have become a hinderance to regular senate activities.
I’m not saying this to attack or insult the man, but anyone acting like everything was fine before today is being genuinely dishonest.
According to Jentleson, “On Monday, John was evaluated by Dr. Brian P. Monahan, the Attending Physician of the United States Congress. Yesterday, Dr. Monahan recommended inpatient care at Walter Reed. John agreed, and he is receiving treatment on a voluntary basis.”
It’s worth noting that it wasn’t even a full week ago that Fetterman was hospitalized for “lightheadedness,” and not another stroke.
“After examining John, the doctors at Walter Reed told us that John is getting the care he needs, and will soon be back to himself,” said Jentleson.

Ongoing Issues
Throughout the 2022 midterm election cycle, it became harder and harder for the Democratic establishment and the media to hide the fact that John Fetterman was not physically fit to serve in the US Senate, nonetheless the LT. Governorship which he previously served in after suffering a major stroke that same year.
While Democrats labeled his opponent Mehmet Oz a “threat to democracy” and a “threat to public health,” anything south of outright comparisons to Adolf Hitler like they paint over every Republican who threatens to beat them in a general election, the same people were parading this injured and incapable man around as if those who pointed out his challenges were the issues.
Fetterman’s own wife, Gisele Fetterman, even threatened an NBC reporter (far from being a right-wing provocateur), saying that there should be “consequences” for pointing out his inability to make “small talk” without captioning tools.
It has become more difficult for Fetterman’s team of enablers to cover up the obvious; they they care so much about their ability to maintain power for the Democrat’s ultra-progressive agenda that they’re willing to parade around a man who cannot comprehend basic speech, who should instead be probably receiving full time care, to do so.

Not Everything is Fine
Within the same frame of time that Fetterman was hospitalized in early February, reports began to come out exposing just how bad Fetterman’s condition really is.
The Political Insider reported that Fetterman is “struggling to adapt to life in the Senate as he adjusts to auditory issues” as a result of the stroke he suffered. These issues are so severe that it results are that Fetterman hears “voices that sound like the teacher in the ‘Peanuts’ cartoons.”
This isn’t a joke — John Fetterman as an acting US Senator has the ability to vote on taxes, healthcare, spending, and whether or not our nation should engage in war.
A report by The New York Times detailed how far colleagues, staff, and the sergeant-at-arms have gone in order to aid Fetterman in day to day tasks. Some who spoke with the Times stated that it has been “extraordinarily challenging.”
How far are the people closest too him willing to push him just to maintain this seat? That’s the only question people should be asking.

Just in time for Valetine’s Day, crass leftist comedian Chelsea Handler starred in a The Daily Show video celebrating being “single” and “childless.” Handler then went on the attack after right-wing pundits, including Tucker Carlson and Ben Shapiro, striking a nerve with responses to her intentionally off-color video.
The 47-year-old New Jersey native, who has never been wed, extoled the joys of a single, childless life. Her triumphs include:

Waking up early and going back to sleep
Hooking up with random guys
Drinking lots of wine
Generally doing “whatever the f*ck” she wants

If you ask me, the list sounds more like the aspirations of a young adult content to live in their parents’ basement rather than a middle age success story.

Chelsea Handler Celebrates Single, Childless Life in The Daily Show Sketch
Right-wing personalities Tucker Carlson, Jesse Kelly, and Ben Shapiro had a similar reaction and didn’t pull their punches, sending Chelsea Handler into a tizzy.
Handler’s video titled “Day in the Life of a Childless Woman” opens with a graphic depiction of her morning self-pleasure routine since she has “no kids to take to school”.
“I wake up at 6 AM. I remember that I have no kids to take to school, so I take an edible, masturbate, and go back to sleep,” the crass comedienne seemingly brags.
The video only went downhill from there. After going back to sleep and staying in bed until lunch, she then readies for “a busy day of doing whatever the f*ck I feel like.”
Handler takes a jab at weary parents who opt for comfortable and practical attire when running errands.
“I put on my most impractical and stylish shoes since I won’t be chasing a child around the grocery store,” Handler continues.
After that it’s a quick jaunt to “Paris to grab a croissant” and, of course, enjoying the flight since she has “no screaming kids.”
To cap it all off, the middle-age single imagines herself returning home to hook up with a random guy from a dating app. Texting the stranger, “Wanna f*ck tonight?” Because one-night stands with strange men is really the good life.
Handler seemed to decide her video wasn’t offensive enough, so she ended on a note suggesting she’s using her ample “free time” to build a time machine so that she can “kill baby Hitler.”
I think we can all agree that some comedy is funny, and some is not.

Tucker Carlson, Ben Shapiro Skewer Chelsea Handler
Somehow this video has massed over 8 million views on Instagram alone. Yet Handler is somehow aghast that news pundits would critique the video.

Carlson had recently dedicated a segment to Handler’s over-the-top video. Not surprisingly, he and guest Jesse Kelly did not have many kind words for Handler.
The Fox News host called Handler an “aging, deeply unlikable woman who never had kids.”
Then Kelly took things another level suggesting the 40 something’s “womb resembles a dried-up tumbleweed blowing down an old western town” whose Valentine’s Day date “for the 10th year in a row is a 10-year-old copy of ‘Magic Mike’ and a half-full bottle of Xanax, and you are trying to pretend you are happy, but you are not happy. And it is actually not her fault. She has been lied to by a country that has lost its way.”
Handler’s decision to lump in Shapiro shows he hit a nerve.  He didn’t go for the jugular like Kelly. Shapiro speculates that Hander is miserable – it’s “written all over her face how miserable she is.”

“Why would I even need my own children when I get to hear these crybabies all the time?” Handler responded.
She then directs her ire at Carlson, “Are you really upset about how much freedom I have ― or are you upset that you haven’t been able to take it away from me yet?”
True to form, Handler then took the low road. She spouted, “I think we both know that you are hate-masturbating to me, and I’m down with that.”
As for Shapiro, Handler credited him with helping her maintain her childless status.
“Thank you for helping my cause of not having children. Who needs the birth control pill when your voice is 100 percent effective?”
Of course, this is the same Chelsea Handler publicly praised Louis Farrakhan for his “powerful” rhetoric on race. Handler is Jewish, mind you. That tell us everything we need to know.
The whole thing might have been funnier if birth rates weren’t declining, and Chelsea Handler wasn’t a poster child for the erosion of family values happening in American today.
Experts attribute the decline largely to women, much like Handler, waiting until later in life to have children or not having children at all.
It’s really sad to see how loose morals are celebrated at every turn. Yet the traditional values upon which this country was built are criminalized.

Two representatives from Washington state are working together to reintroduce a bill from the 117th Congress to honor Vietnam War Veterans.
The bipartisan bill, if adopted, would award the Congressional Gold Medal to Dustoff crewmembers – the helicopter pilots, crew chiefs, and medics responsible for evacuating more than 900,000 U.S., Vietnamese, and allied forces during the nearly eleven year long period between May 1962 to March 1973.
“During the Vietnam War, millions of Americans left home to fight in muddy trenches and jungles halfway around the world,” said Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-Spokane, in a statement. “Many made the ultimate sacrifice.”
“Others returned home just to be ostracized and ridiculed,” she continued. “Some were never recognized for their service at all. That’s exactly what happened to the Dustoff crewmembers who risked their lives to save nearly one million others. They were some of the very best, and their heroism deserves to be recognized.”

The History and Art Archives of the United States House of Representatives notes that Congress “has commissioned gold medals as its highest expression of national appreciation for distinguished achievements and contributions.”
“Each medal honors a particular individual, institution, or event,” the archive states.
The first recipient of the award, handed out by the Continental Congress on the 25th of March 1776, was none other than George Washington.
To date, few Vietnam war veterans have been awarded a Congressional Gold Medal.
Bill co-sponsor Rep. Derek Kilmer, D-Gig Harbor, wants to correct this oversight.
“Years after the end of the Vietnam War, too many Vietnam veterans have not been sufficiently recognized for their service and sacrifice,” said Kilmer in a statement. “That remains true for the members of the Dustoff crews – who valiantly rescued so many.”
“Awarding the Congressional Gold Medal to the Dustoff crews of the Vietnam War will be an important step toward recognizing the pivotal role that these service members played in saving lives and serving their country proudly,” he added. “I’ll keep pushing to ensure we demonstrate our appreciation on behalf of a grateful nation.”
The prior version of the bill from the 117th congress died in committee without being passed on for a vote.

President Biden on Thursday headed to Walter Reed for his annual physical, and a former doctor for Barack Obama says he is “worried” about his age and other ailments.
The exam is typically a physical evaluation of the patient, though it comes as Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley called for “mental competency tests” for politicians over the age of 75.
Honestly, there are probably several members of Congress well under that age that would struggle with such an exam. But I digress.
Dr. David Scheiner, in an interview with the Washington Examiner, expressed several concerns related to Biden’s overall health.
“I don’t care if he’s in perfect health now – which, I can’t believe he’s in perfect health,” Scheiner, who was Obama’s personal physician for over 20 years, said. “He’s had too many things in his past history.”
The doctor pointed to Biden’s past aneurysms and atrial fibrillation issues and mentioned the President’s noticeably worsening gait.
“It worries me that he is aging. If I look at him, he’s not a young 80,” Scheiner said.

Obama Doctor: Expect Biden Physical to ‘Sugarcoat’ Things
Dr. Scheiner suggested that whatever the physicians discover with President Biden’s physical, he expects them to gloss over the details.
“You’re not going to learn anything. They sugarcoat these things,” he told the Examiner.
He also recommended the White House conduct a neurological exam or at least have an MRI completed as part of the physical.
“The one thing they don’t check is a careful examination of the mind,” he said. “I don’t think any candidate wants it. They’re afraid they might find something.”
Former President Donald Trump is reported to have taken the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) which he says he “aced.”

People Are Concerned
Nikki Haley, speaking at a rally in Charleston, South Carolina, reiterated her call for cognitive tests for elderly politicians, a dig at Biden as he attend his physical, as well as Trump.
“In the America I see, the permanent politician will finally retire,” Haley said to her boisterous supporters. “We’ll have term limits for Congress and mandatory mental competency tests for politicians over 75 years old.”

Texas Representative Ronny Jackson (R), a former White House doctor, has been calling for a cognitive test for Biden for years.
“The majority of Americans think Biden is cognitively impaired,” Jackson tweeted. “He MUST get a cognitive exam with today’s physical exam, and he must release the FULL RESULTS. We need to know!”

A Harvard Caps Harris survey conducted in January indicates 59% of Americans “have doubts about his (Biden’s) fitness” while just 41% believe the President is mentally fit to serve in the White House.

It isn’t just Republicans who are concerned either. The Daily Mail reports that some senior Democrats view Biden as “too old” to run in 2024.
The Harvard Caps Harris survey also demonstrates that 65% of respondents feel the President is “showing he is too old to be President.”
Biden would be closer to 90 – 86 years old – at the end of a second term.
