Do you remember Keith Olbermann? He made a name for himself at MSNBC back in the early 2000s by going on the air almost every night and calling George W. Bush a fascist.
Now he has been reduced to doing a podcast. People like him never really go away, no matter how far they fall.
Keith must be really worried about Tucker Carlson getting his hands on the J6 footage, because he is now calling for FOX News to be shut down, for national security reasons.

First, congratulations to Keith Olbermann for finding a website that will host his podcast, “Countdown.” The selfies of him shouting from his balcony were getting a little repetitive, so it’s good he’s found an outlet.
As Twitchy has reported, both Rep. Adam Schiff and CNN analyst Adam Kinzinger are having tantrums that Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given more than 40,000 hours of January 6 footage to Tucker Carlson and his staff. Plenty reminded Kinzinger that Congress has had this footage all along and that his select committee chose to work with a former ABC producer to edit together a “highlight reel” for the public.
Olbermann isn’t just angry that Carlson has the video; he thinks Fox News should be shut down as a national security risk, as the footage will likely be used to “provide a roadmap” for future insurrectionists to evade detection.

On Monday, Joe Biden traveled to Ukraine. Not to be outdone on foreign travel, First Lady Jill Biden is now departing for a trip to Africa.
Neither of them have visited Ohio or even said any comforting words for the Americans who are suffering there.
It’s important to remember that none of this is happening by accident. These trips are being made by deliberate choices.

Jill Biden headed for Africa on Tuesday, first stop Namibia, declaring as she departed Washington that she had “a lot to accomplish” during a five-day visit focused on empowering women and young people and addressing food insecurity.
The first lady’s visit to Namibia and Kenya is part of a push by the United States to step up engagement with Africa as a counterweight to China’s influence on the continent.
Biden, who teaches English and writing at a community college, said she dashed home from class with only an hour to spare before she needed to depart on the trip. She headed out a day before her husband gets back from his surprise trip to Ukraine and a scheduled visit to Poland.
“This whole trip will be exciting and we have a lot to accomplish,” she said.
Granddaughter Naomi Biden is accompanying the first lady on the trip.
President Joe Biden told African leaders who came to Washington for a summit last year that the U.S. is “all in” on the continent’s future and announced that he, his wife, the vice president and several members of his Cabinet would travel to Africa this year. He joked that the leaders would get tired of hosting everyone.

An environmental disaster is unfolding in Ohio and neither the president nor his wife have visited or even commented on the situation. In fact, they’re both jetting off to foreign lands in the same week.
And no one in the press even asks them about this.

Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg was questioned Tuesday evening while walking in Washington, D.C. by Daily Caller reporter Jennie Taer who asked him about the toxic train wreck in East Palestine, Ohio. Buttigieg was walking with what appears to be his husband Chasten Buttigieg.

Secretary Pete refused to answer Taer’s questions, save but one, repeatedly telling her to check out the “dozen” interviews he had already given today. When Taer persisted, Buttigieg informed her he was “taking some personal time”. He did say he was going to go to East Palestine but wouldn’t say when.

One of the interviews Buttigieg gave Tuesday was with CBS News reporter Caitlin Huey-Burns who challenged him for not “showing up” to East Palestine. Buttigieg spoke about respecting the bureaucratic process.

McDonald’s has announced it will start selling plant-based chicken McNuggets at select restaurants
As of right now, the plant-based nuggets can only be bought at McDonald’s in Germany but if the nuggets are proven to be a success they could find themselves on McDonald’s menus all around the world.
The new McPlant nuggets are in collaboration with Beyond Meat an artificial meat company that received financial backing from Bill Gates in its early years.
Per MSN, ingredients that can be found in the new plant based nuggets are “peas, corn, wheat, and tempura batter, using a recipe the fast food giant made in collaboration with Beyond Meat.”

McDonald’s customers will be able to order plant-based McPlant nuggets starting Feb. 22, with Germany being the first country to roll them out.

The plant based McNuggets aren’t the first time McDonald’s has placed synthetic plant based meat on its menu.
Back in 2021, McDonald’s introduced the McPlant Burger.
Oh My Mag reported the McPlant burger was a major flop in the United States but was well received in Europe.
The McPlant burger was eventually pulled from McDonald’s menus in the United States after the plant based burger was only sold 20 times a day on average at McDonald’s busiest chains.

McDonald’s isn’t the only fast food chain that has collaborated with Beyond Meat.

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has been the target of frequent threats of violence and death from trans activists and their allies due to her unwavering belief, and public commentary, that men cannot become women.
The Gateway Pundit reported on their rage when Rowling stood by researcher Maya Forstater. Forstater was let go from her job for making comments labeled as “transphobic.”
Rowling triggered the SJWs again for “misgendering” an account allegedly tied to to Luis Morales, also known as Synthia China Blast, convicted of murdering a 13-year-old child in a racist gang attack.
Transgender novelist Gretchen Felker-Martin wrote a book that described as a “depraved psychosexual horrorshow” in which Rowling is burned alive.
Felker-Martin recently shared, in a now deleted tweet, her desire to slit the throats of several writers she deems “transphobic,” including Rowling.

The New York Post reports:
A well-known transgender horror author who was among the signers of a letter decrying the New York Times’ “biased” reporting on trans issues said she wants to slit J.K. Rowling’s throat.
Gretchen Felker-Martin called out several writers she said were transphobic — including “Harry Potter” author Rowling — on Feb. 12.
“If they all had one throat, man,” she added in the since-deleted tweet.
Felker-Martin came under fire last year after writing a self-confessed “depraved psychosexual horrorshow” in which Rowling is burned alive in her home.
Her debut novel, “Manhunt,” follows two trans women “attempting to survive in a world ravaged by a plague which transforms anyone with enough testosterone in their system into a shrieking monstrosity.”
Earlier, Felker-Martin had condemned the murder of British transgender teenager Brianna Ghey, 16, implying that Rowling and others had stoked the violence that led to the killing, the Daily Mail reported.
Police don’t yet have a motive in the case, but two 15-year-olds have been arrested.
Journalist Jesse Single tweeted about the threat and shared the since deleted tweet.

Congressman Adam Schiff melted down after Speaker McCarthy turned over January 6 videos to Fox News host Tucker Carlson.
Axios reported that House Speaker McCarthy handed over 41,000 hours of Jan 6 Capitol footage to Tucker Carlson at FOX News.
On Monday night Tucker Carlson made an announcement on the news. Speaker Kevin McCarthy gave Tucker Carlson and his team unfettered access to over 44,000 hours of January 6 footage.
Tucker will cover their findings next week.
Schiff flipped out and accused Tucker of being a right-wing propagandist.
“Kevin McCarthy turned over Jan 6 videos to right-wing propagandist Tucker Carlson,” Schiff said.
Schiff accused Tucker Carlson of being a Russian stooge.
“A man who spews Kremlin talking points. Suggests Jan 6 was a false flag. And spreads the Big Lie.” Schiff said.

Biden is unpopular and old so he wants to make sure his campaign headquarters is near his Wilmington home.
He doesn’t have what it takes to keep up with a grueling presidential campaign schedule.
“No decision has been made about where the campaign’s headquarters will be. The president has pushed for Wilmington, his hometown, according to people briefed on internal discussions. But some advisers fear that such a location would make recruitment harder, with younger campaign aides not eager to spend a year in a sleepy, small town. They are pressing instead for Philadelphia, where Mr. Biden’s 2020 effort was based.” The New York Times reported.
In 2020, Biden’s virtual campaign speeches were marred by technical problems and honking geese.

The Strategic Arms Limitation Talks (SALT) produced two agreements by May 1972 during the Nixon administration.
The START I Soviet-US nuclear agreements were proposed by Ronald Reagan in the early 1980s and finally signed in 1991 during the George H. Bush administration.
The START II agreements were signed during the papa Bush administration.
START III was signed by Bill Clinton.
George W. Bush signed the SORT (Moscow Treaty) in 2002 with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
And the New START nuclear agreement was signed in 2010 between Barack Obama and Putin.
On Tuesday Vladimir Putin announced he will suspend participation in the START nuclear treaty.
Putin announced the suspension during a speech to both houses of the Russian parliament in a speech where he accused the West of seeking to destroy Russia.

Reuters reported:

Russia will continue to observe limits on the number of nuclear warheads it can deploy under the New START treaty despite a decision to suspend participation in the agreement, Moscow said on Tuesday.
President Vladimir Putin announced the freeze during a speech to both houses of the Russian parliament in which he also repeated accusations the West was seeking to destroy Russia.
Later in the day Putin submitted a draft law on the suspension to the Duma, the lower house of parliament, which will consider it on Wednesday and take an immediate decision, Duma speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said in a statement.
The draft will then be sent to the Federation Council upper house, he said. Grigory Karasin, who chairs the Council’s international committee, told RIA news agency that the body might also consider the law on Wednesday.
Under the treaty, signed in 2010 and extended until 2026, Moscow and Washington committed to deploying no more than 1,550 strategic nuclear warheads and a maximum of 700 long-range missiles and bombers.

The left just suffered a loss in court.
The Supreme Court refused to step into a legal fight over an Arkansas law that would require contractors with public contracts to not boycott Israel.
This allows the ruling by the Eight Circuit to stand.
The lawsuit was brought by the Arkansas Times which was represented by the ACLU.
AP reported:
The Supreme Court on Tuesday refused to step into a legal fight over state laws that require contractors to pledge not to boycott Israel.
The justices rejected an appeal on behalf of an alternative weekly newspaper in Little Rock, Arkansas, that objected to a state law that reduces fees paid to contractors that refuse to sign the pledge.
The full federal appeals court in St. Louis upheld the law, overturning a three-judge panel’s finding that it violated constitutional free speech rights.
Similar measures in Arizona, Kansas and Texas were initially blocked by courts, prompting lawmakers to focus only on larger contracts. Arkansas’ law applies to contracts worth $1,000 or more.
The victory is an “important victory” against the BDS movement.
This ruling is likely to influence similar cases in other states.
Legal Insurrection reported: 
The Court’s decision to let the Eighth Circuit en banc ruling stand is an important victory in the fight against government-funded discrimination against Israel. More than half of the states in the country have anti-BDS laws that, like the Arkansas statute, require government contractors to certify that they are not boycotting the Jewish state.
The Eighth Circuit is the only circuit-level court to have addressed the merits of the anti-Israel-boycott statutes. And although its decision is not binding in other circuits, it is nonetheless likely to influence courts seeking guidance in future challenges to other state’s statutes.
