Neighbors Beat The Tar Out Of Armed Teenager After He Allegedly Tried To Carjack Grandma With Cancer (VIDEO)

Washington, DC – Neighbors beat up a 15-year-old teenage thug after he allegedly tried to carjack an elderly lady known as “Grandma” on her way to get chemo treatment.
The incident took place last Friday around 8:30 a.m. in the 22nd St. Southeast neighborhood, according to WJLA. DC Police say the suspect entered the elderly woman’s car and demanded her keys.
The woman told the teenager that would never happen.
“Next thing I know, he walked up talking about, ‘Give me your keys, I got a gun.’ “Grandma” told WJLA. ‘Baby, you better shoot me, because you’re not taking my car.’”
“He pushed me to the door and I got up and grabbed him and was hitting his ass, and hitting him and fighting him and I said, ‘You not going to take my car, youngin.’”

The woman then yelled for help and her neighbors darted out to assist her.
The suspect attempted to flee but the neighbors caught up to him. They proceeded to beat the tar out of the teenager for violently threatening “Grandma.”
“They caught him and I said, ‘Oh, you going to jail today. You definitely going to jail, yes you are,” said “Grandma.”
The teenager suspect was then transported to the hospital. A fake gun was found on the teenager according to police.
The old woman said the police were amazed the suspect was still alive after the brutal beatdown considering how rough the neighborhood is.
“And they said it’s a wonder he wasn’t dead,” she told WJLA. “On 22nd Street? He must didn’t know where he was. Nobody has seen this boy before.”
According to WJLA, there have been 82 carjackings this year alone and just 14 arrests in DC this year. “Grandma” is quite fortunate to have avoided becoming the latest victim.

  • Ohio Department of Natural Resources Estimates 44,000 Animals Killed By East Palestine Train Derailment

Ohio Department of Natural Resources Estimates 44,000 Animals Killed By East Palestine Train Derailment

As government officials continue to claim that the air and water are fine after a train carrying hazardous chemicals derailed in Ohio, the state’s Department of Natural Resources estimated that 44,000 animals have died from the toxic contamination.
Of the 44,000 dead animals, the ODNR said that an estimated 38,222 were minnows, ranging in size between 1 and 3 inches.
“ODNR used a calculation endorsed by the American Fisheries Society to estimate the total number of minnows killed in the entire 5-mile span of waterway from the derailment site to the point where Bull Creek flows into the north fork of Little Beaver Creek,” the department said in a statement. “Of the estimate, 38,222 were minnows, ranging in size between 1 and 3 inches.”
The statement continued, “ODNR also estimated the total number of other aquatic life killed as a result of the derailment, including small fish, crayfish, amphibians, and macroinvertebrates. This number is approximately 5,500.”
“Although dead aquatic species still remain in the impacted waterways, the entirety of the impact to the aquatic life is believed to have occurred in the first 24-hours after the derailment,” the statement said. “There is no immediate threat to minnows, fish, or other aquatic species – in fact, live fish have returned to Leslie Run. None of the species killed are believed to be endangered or threatened.”
ODNR Director Mary Mertz said that “the morning after the train derailment in East Palestine, ODNR Wildlife personnel and officers responded to survey the waterways to determine the impact of the chemical spill on aquatic life. Upon arrival, the Ohio EPA advised our teams that it was too dangerous to enter the water without specialized gear and equipment.”
“This new calculation estimates that a total of 38,222 minnows were potentially killed as a result of the derailment,” Mertz continued. “It is estimated that a total of around 5,500 other species – again, things like small fish, crayfish, amphibians and macroinvertebrates, were also potentially killed as a result of the derailment.”
Mertz continued, “The investigation has thus far concluded that of the 7-and-a-half-mile impacted area, the species were killed over a 5-mile span. This area of impact runs from the train derailment site near Sulphur Run to where Bull Creek flows into the North Fork of Little Beaver Creek.”
She added that they are awaiting the test results of several non-aquatic animals, including three birds and an opossum.
On Friday, the Ohio EPA released their final testing results, saying “that there is no indication of risk to East Palestine Public Water customers.”
“Treated drinking water shows no detection of contaminants associated with the derailment,” the agency said.
Politicians, including Ohio Lt. Governor Jon Husted, started drinking the tap water in East Palestine on camera over the weekend to “prove” that it is safe.
Many have remained skeptical as the Ohio Department of Natural Resources has estimated that at least 3,500 fish, primarily minnows and darters, have been found dead spanning over seven miles of streams.

According to Der Spiegel, Russia is reportedly in negotiations with China to purchase 100 ZT-180 prototype kamikaze drones. They are able to carry a 35 to 50 kg warhead.

    Der Spiegel reported:
At the Munich Security Conference last weekend, U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken dispensed with the usual diplomatic niceties when he reported on his meeting with top Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, delivering a rebuke instead.
“We are very concerned that China is considering providing lethal support to Russia in its aggression against Ukraine,” Blinken told U.S. broadcaster NBC. “And I made clear that that would have serious consequences in our relationship as well.”
China reacted quickly, with a Foreign Ministry spokesperson accusing Blinken of spreading disinformation. But information obtained by DER SPIEGEL indicates that the planned cooperation between Beijing and Moscow goes even further than Blinken makes it sound.
A Warhead up to 50 Kilograms in Weight
According to that information, the Russian military is engaged in negotiations with Chinese drone manufacturer Xi’an Bingo Intelligent Aviation Technology over the mass production of kamikaze drones for Russia. The revelations create a new urgency in the debate over possible Chinese military support for Russia.
Bingo has reportedly agreed to manufacture and test 100 ZT-180 prototype drones before delivering them to the Russian Defense Ministry by April 2023. Military experts believe the ZT-180 is capable of carrying a 35- to 50 kilogram warhead.

  • Arizona Rancher Charged with First-Degree Murder For Fatally Shooting Illegal Alien on His Property Posts Million Bond, Released From Custody

Arizona Rancher Charged with First-Degree Murder For Fatally Shooting Illegal Alien on His Property Posts $1 Million Bond, Released From Custody

    George Alan Kelly
George Alan Kelly, 73, was arrested for killing Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, on his Arizona ranch in Kino Springs just outside of Nogales, Mexico on January 30.
Kelly was being held at the Santa Cruz County jail on $1 million bond, but he posted bail and was released from custody on Wednesday, Fox News confirmed.
According to reports, Gabriel Cuen-Butimea has a history of illegally crossing into the United States and multiple deportations.
Authorities found a Mexican voter registration card on the decedent.
According to the defense lawyers, Mr. Kelly fired warning shots after he saw a group of men dressed in camouflaged clothing point an AK-47 right at him.
George Alan Kelly was careful to shoot above their heads, the lawyers said.
The rancher later discovered the deceased man after he went to check on his horse.
“As the sun was going down later that day, Kelly went to his pastures to check on his horse, still concerned the horse might have been injured in the incident. Noticing that the dogs he took with him were focused on something on the ground near a mesquite tree, Kelly approached the area and “observed a body lying face down in the grass,” Larkin wrote. He then called the Border Patrol ranch liaison a third time to report the discovery and request assistance from law enforcement.” – Fox News reported.
George Alan Kelly was hit with new charges ahead of his preliminary hearing on Tuesday.
The elderly rancher was hit with two charges of aggravated assault in addition to the first-degree premeditated murder charge.
The next hearing is scheduled for Friday.
    Fox News reported:
Arizona rancher George Alan Kelly, who is facing murder and other charges in the shooting of a Mexican national on his border property, has been released from custody, Fox News Digital confirmed Thursday.
Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Gerardo Castillo confirmed that 73-year-old Kelly posted bond Wednesday after appearing in court.
Judge Emilio Velasquez had upheld Kelly’s $1 million bond, though agreed to convert it from cash to surety. He also set the next hearing date for Friday despite the defense pleading for a continuance of 30 to 60 days to allow time to confer with experts and gather the forensic and ballistic evidence they say authorities have neglected to process.
Christian crowdsourcing site GiveSendGo had picked up the fundraising baton for Kelly’s bond and defense after GoFundMe booted all campaigns for the rancher from its site.
“George and Wanda Kelly are so grateful for all your support and donations,” a post read Thursday on a GiveSendGo fundraiser titled, “Drop charges against Arizona Rancher George Kelly,” announcing the rancher’s release. “When we come together and stand up for what is right we MAKE a difference! They still have a long road ahead of them. Please continue to support George. God Bless.”

  • Weird Lib Marianne Williamson Becomes First Democrat to Announce a Primary Campaign Against Biden in 2024

Weird Lib Marianne Williamson Becomes First Democrat to Announce a Primary Campaign Against Biden in 2024

Marianne Willamson has confirmed she will be running for the Democrat nomination in 2024.
Williamson is a staunch progressive who was heavily memed during the last presidential election for her outlandish takes.
She told the Medill News Service, “They tried to paint me as silly, they tried to paint me as unserious because they know I’m not.”

Question: “Did this night go the way you hoped it would?”
Marianne Williamson: “I don’t know yet. I mean, I’ll tell you when, you know, later when I see the memes.” pic.twitter.com/F4f5HunESD
    — The Hill (@thehill) July 31, 2019

Williamson confirmed during the interview that she believes she can harness the “collective-sensibility” of Americans.
“I wouldn’t be running for president if I didn’t believe I could contribute to harnessing the collective sensibility that I feel is our greatest hope at this time,” Williamson told the outlet.
“People who run the government are divided into two categories, those who either don’t care to fix it, or do not have the spine to fix it. And neither category should be running this country,” she said.
“What we’re experiencing is the latest iteration of forces who put their property rights and their short term economic gain before the health, safety and well being of the majority of people. Other generations have pushed back against that. Now it’s our turn to do that.”
Williamson is now the first Democrat to officially announce their intent to challenge Joe Biden, should he run for reelection.
The contender is unlikely to mount a serious challenge to Biden, having dropped out of the primaries after failing to gain more than one percent of the vote in 2020.
Williamson will formally announce her campaign at an event on March 4.

  • California Antifa Militant Hit With 16 Felony Charges For Brutally Attacking Trump Supporting Teenagers

California Antifa Militant Hit With 16 Felony Charges For Brutally Attacking Trump Supporting Teenagers

An Antifa militant has been charged with 16 felonies for leading a group that brutally attacked Trump supporting teenagers in San Diego two years ago.
Brian Cortez Lightfoot, Jr., 26, of Los Angeles, is one of 10 Antifa members indicted by a San Diego County grand jury over a Jan. 9, 2021, riot in Pacific Beach.
Andy Ngo reports for the Post Millenial that “so far, six Antifa defendants took plea deals over their role in the attack and are awaiting sentencing. Lightfoot is among the remaining five who face trial in March if they do not take plea deals before then.”

“According to the 2022 grand jury indictment, Lightfoot was part of a mob that surrounded victims and sprayed and shoved them to the ground, while other Antifa members used umbrellas to block the view of the assaults,” Ngo’s report explains. “Lightfoot, accused of using ‘reinforced Kevlar gloves,’ and his co-conspirators allegedly punched and kicked victims. Prosecutors allege that Lightfoot and his co-conspirators chased after and caught their victims when they tried to flee.”
Lightfoot was also carrying Frontiersman Bear Spray, which is ten times the potency of mace used by the department.
Ngo reports, “there was a prolonged attack on two teenage boys charged as ‘Incident One’ in the indictment. When Detective Emily Clark testified, she commented on video evidence shown to the grand jury: ‘You can see Brian Lightfoot who is actively deploying the tear gas weapon.’ The boys were allegedly targeted because of their patriotic-themed and MAGA clothing.”
San Diego Police detective Emily Clark testified that she believes Lightfoot was one of the leaders of the violent group because of a radio that he had clipped to himself.
“That’s something that I’ve seen at protests where radios are passed out to different members of the protests and used for co-ordination throughout the duration of the protest and then turned back in,” Clark testified.

  • New York Times Begins Disciplinary Hearings For Writers That Signed Letter Protesting Paper’s Coverage of Transgender Issues

New York Times Begins Disciplinary Hearings For Writers That Signed Letter Protesting Paper’s Coverage of Transgender Issues

The New York Times will hold disciplinary hearings for writers and contributors who signed an open letter protesting the paper’s coverage of transgender issues, according to the NewsGuild of New York.
Over 1,000 current and former New York Times contributors signed the letter, and the top editor said their protest would not be tolerated.
Washington Post media critic Erik Wemple tweeted about the potential blowback on Thursday.
Wemple wrote, “Among those who signed that letter were several [New York Times] employees. The NewsGuild of NY says that members have been called into “investigatory meetings” and an informed source tells me that disciplinary proceedings are under way.”

Among those who signed that letter were several @nytimes employees. The NewsGuild of NY says that members have been called into “investigatory meetings” and an informed source tells me that disciplinary proceedings are under way.
    — ErikWemple (@ErikWemple) February 23, 2023

The letter was addressed to Philip B. Corbett, associate managing editor for standards at The New York Times.
In a memo sent out by executive editor Joe Kahn on February 17, he said that the Times “received a letter delivered by GLAAD, an advocacy group, criticizing coverage in The Times of transgender issues.”
“It is not unusual for outside groups to critique our coverage or to rally supporters to seek to influence our journalism. In this case, however, members of our staff and contributors to The Times joined the effort. Their protest letter included direct attacks on several of our colleagues, singling them out by name,” Kahn wrote in the memo that was obtained by The Hill. “Participation in such a campaign is against the letter and spirit of our ethics policy. That policy prohibits our journalists from aligning themselves with advocacy groups and joining protest actions on matters of public policy. We also have a clear policy prohibiting Times journalists from attacking one another’s journalism publicly or signaling their support for such attacks.”
“Our coverage of transgender issues, including the specific pieces singled out for attack, is important, deeply reported, and sensitively written,” he continued. “We do not welcome, and will not tolerate, participation by Times journalists in protests organized by advocacy groups or attacks on colleagues on social media and other public forums.”
The letter was published online on Thursday with 200 current and former New York Times contributors, but after it was published, the number grew to over 1,000.
New York Times Editor Says He ‘Will Not Tolerate’ Contributors Protesting Paper’s Coverage of Transgender Issues

“We write to you as a collective of New York Times contributors with serious concerns about editorial bias in the newspaper’s reporting on transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming people,” the letter began. “Plenty of reporters at the Times cover trans issues fairly. Their work is eclipsed, however, by what one journalist has calculated as over 15,000 words of front-page Times coverage debating the propriety of medical care for trans children published in the last eight months alone.”
The reporters at the Times argued that procedures that can sterilize and mutilate children are not worthy of debate. The letter then blasted individual stories and reporters that they deemed to be problematic.
The group of reporters specifically pointed to Emily Bazelon’s article ‘The Battle Over Gender Therapy’ which used the term “patient zero” to refer to a “trans child” seeking what they referred to as “gender-affirming care.”
“Some of us are trans, non-binary, or gender nonconforming, and we resent the fact that our work, but not our person, is good enough for the paper of record,” the letter concluded. “Some of us are cis, and we have seen those we love discover and fight for their true selves, often swimming upstream against currents of bigotry and pseudoscience fomented by the kind of coverage we here protest. All of us daresay our stance is unremarkable, even common, and certainly not deserving of the Times’ intense scrutiny. A tiny percentage of the population is trans, and an even smaller percentage of those people face the type of conflict the Times is so intent on magnifying. There is no rapt reporting on the thousands of parents who simply love and support their children, or on the hardworking professionals at the New York Times enduring a workplace made hostile by bias—a period of forbearance that ends today.”
In response to the leaked memo, the letter was updated with a note at the top stating:
We are disappointed that the New York Times chose to use their public response to Wednesday’s coalition letter from GLAAD and other organizations as an opportunity to attempt to dismiss the well-documented complaint of editorial bias detailed in our letter. Times representatives avoided addressing the substantive concerns in the letter by simply alleging that it “came to [them] through GLAAD.” However, GLAAD confirmed to us that they did not deliver a copy of our letter to the New York Times. We look forward to clarification from the Times.
Additionally, though we coordinated timing with GLAAD, our letters are very different documents. For example, we are not an advocacy organization. Our letter is addressed directly to the Standards editor, and makes a clear case drawing on the Times’ own history and editorial standards.
Out of hand, the Times’ comments dismiss the concerns put to them by, at last count, over 1000 contributors to the New York Times—among them eminent writers, artists, photographers, and holders of elected office—and the countersignatures of 23,000 media workers, readers and subscribers to the newspaper.
Over 20,000 people have signed on to the letter in support, but the paper appears to be standing firm — even publishing an article supporting J.K. Rowling, who has been fiercely outspoken about biological reality.

The U.S. housing market suffered the biggest drop in value since 2008 as home prices came crashing down.

That’s according to a new report from real estate brokerage firm Redfin, which showed that the total value of U.S. homes tumbled from a record high of $47.7 trillion in June 2022 to $45.3 trillion at the end of the year — a decline of $2.3 trillion, or 4.9%.

It marks the biggest drop in percentage terms since the 2008 financial crisis, when home values plunged by 5.8% from June to December.
