As though the world needs yet another self-congratulatory event, on Sunday night the 2023 Screen Actors Guild (SAG) award show was held.
SAG-AFTRA President, access Fran Drescher, took time in her speech to call for an end to Hollywood’s “bulls – – t” COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
“As the nation declares an end to the COVID emergency this May, I hope we will see everyone return to work in equal opportunity.”
The current Hollywood Covid protocols will expire on April 1, 2023.
She followed that rare bit of bravery with a threat to governors across the nation to bow down to Hollywood’s dictate and turned her sights on encouraging Hollywood to “flex its economic muscles”  to force governors who want Hollywood’s business to act as Hollywood demands….or else.

The New York Post reports:

In her speech, the actress also discussed her efforts to help make Hollywood more environmentally friendly by joining with Green Councilwith a goal to eliminate single-use plastic on camera and behind the scenes.
She applauded IMDb.com for “taking a stand AGAINST ageism, stereotyping and gender rigidity by allowing our members to define themselves their way on their profile page — for FREE.”
Drescher, who has been open about how she stays healthy as she gets older, also congratulated her fellow Hollywood seniors that are on Medicare for being eligible for a free supplemental benefit.
Drescher was diagnosed with uterine cancer in 2000, and has remained cancer-free ever since undergoing a hysterectomy.
Drescher proudly announced SAG’s “Green Council” has a lofty goal of eliminating “single use plastic” on camera and behind the scenes and challenged audiences to do the same.  The planet is saved!
Maybe governors should boycott Hollywood until they behave the way we want.

Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador lit social media on fire on Saturday by sharing a photo that he claimed to be of a mystical elf sitting in a tree.
Obrador also shared a photo of sculptures from a Yucatec-Maya archeological site that he claimed to be of this type of elf.
“I share two photos of our supervision of the Mayan Train works: one, taken by an engineer three days ago, apparently from an aluxe; another, by Diego Prieto of a splendid pre-Hispanic sculpture in Ek Balam. Everything is mystical,” the Mexican president wrote, according to a machine translation.
An Aluxe is a little mythological person that causes mayhem and mischief according to Mayan lore.
The tweet had over five million views by the next day.

While some social media users embraced the lore and had a good time with it, others quickly got to work debunking Obrador’s elf photo.
“Yes, Andrés, an engineer three days ago took a photo that has been doing the rounds in Nuevo León since February 2021 and in Thailand since December of that year. You are sad, very sad… and the country even more… If you believe it, you are stupid… if you know you are lying, you are malicious…” one Twitter user wrote.
Indeed, the photo previously made the rounds claiming that it was a “witch” spotted in Nuevo León.

The mysterious photo appears to be a type of gibbon, lesser ape, or a langur monkey.

LACAG: ORLEANS PARISH FAILS TO SECURE RECALL SIGNATURES TO GET RID OF CORRUPT MAYOR

New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell may be the worse Mayor in the Country. She presides over one of the most crime-plagued Cities in the Country. Orleans Parish residents have had enough.  On February 22, 2023, at 3:50 PM Orleans Parish voters who are determined to recall Cantrell delivered roughly 60,000 boxed signatures to Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters Sandra Wilson at the ROV office.  The recall organizers provided Wilson more than enough legitimate signatures to trigger a recall vote on Cantrell. This was a feat that nobody thought was possible. It is a real David and Goliath story for the ages that resulted from the sort of tenacity and perseverance this Country could use much more of.

Recall Chairman Belden Batiste returned to Wilson’s office two days later, on February 24, 2023, to check on her progress in verifying and certifying the recall signatures.  What he saw, and filmed, was stunning. The boxes were situated on an open counter in the ROV office, completely unattended, and lids removed.  It was not until ROV personnel realized that Batiste was filming that the boxes were removed, one by one, to another location in the building.
Batiste captured video evidence that the boxes of recall signatures were not properly secured upon delivery to the ROV office and remained unsecured for at least 48 business hours before being removed to what one can only hope was a more secure location. It appears that, for at least two full business days, the evidence was fully accessible to anybody. There was nothing preventing any person from manipulating this evidence in any number of ways, including but not limited to theft of petition sheets. The Orleans Parish ROV has no way of reassuring the citizens of New Orleans that this has not occurred.
We are talking here about the citizen recall of a corrupt Mayor of one of the most famous cities in America.  More fundamentally, we are talking about the exercise of a core constitutional right by tens of thousands of Orleans Parish citizens.  It is both alarming and unacceptable that the custody and control of the signatures upon which that recall, and that right, depend would not have been managed with greater care. These boxes should have been secured upon delivery and kept fully secured 24 hours a day, 7 days a week until properly verified and certified.
In an age when one thinks it is nearly impossible for public officials to act more brazenly, here it is. Will Wilson be held accountable? Will Louisiana Secretary of State Kyle Ardoin, Louisiana’s chief election official, make a public statement about this, and express his disapproval? We must hope so. This breach of public trust is a cause for enormous concern not just for citizens in Orleans Parish but across Louisiana. Wilson must reassure the public that this most important matter, from this point forward, will be handled in a manner that is totally non-partisan and absolutely beyond reproach. Or she should resign.

Former White house physician Rep. Ronny Jackson (R-TX) warned this weekend that Joe Biden’s dementia is going to get people killed and will lead America to war.
Biden has been throwing billions at the corrupt nation of Ukraine in their battle against Russia in the last year. The President is pushing for more war with the nuclear power despite the obvious danger of global nuclear armageddon.
Earlier this month Dr. Jackson called on the White House to come clean on Biden’s obvious dementia and end their cover-up on Biden’s failing health.
The mainstream media continues to ignore the obvious mental decline of this corrupt president.

President GW Bush thinks the US should jump into the Ukraine War after getting the US into Iraq and Afghanistan which Biden ended up surrendering to the Taliban along with $84 billion. 
President GW Bush held an event to celebrate 20 years of PEPFAR.  This organization claims to have saved millions of lives while spending billions of US dollars in Africa.  Nancy Pelosi, Bill Gates and Tony Blinken joined Bush at this event which tells you a lot.

President Bush also made a statement about the Ukraine War at the event.
Former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice, the moderator of the discussion with former Tanzanian President Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, asked Bush for his message to U.S. leaders and critics of American intervention in Africa with AIDS and the Ukraine War.

“I think we’re a big enough nation to do more than one thing,” Bush said. “And continuing to fight against AIDS on the continent of Africa and supporting the Ukrainian freedom fighters is not going to constrain our capacity to help our own citizens.”
Bush apparently isn’t getting the best intel or he chooses not to look at it.  Americans saw Biden surrender Afghanistan to a group of former cave dwellers along with billions in equipment and arms.  This was on top of the thousands of lives lost and terribly injured in that foreign country.
Now Bush is ok with another war but this time with Russia – a nuclear power.  With the memories still burning from Afghanistan maybe Americans are not too keen on fighting a war in Ukraine, where US politicians like the Bidens have been laundering money for years.
GW Bush is so out of touch with America.  He was destroyed by the media and should know that the media only likes you when you’re on the anti-America side.

Now, this is how a nation takes care of a violent crime problem.
Rather than coddling violent thugs like Soros-supported prosecutors are in major American cities, El Salvador is throwing all of theirs behind bars.
On Friday, a 40,000 person prison facility, known as the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT) officially opened, and 2,000 gang members became new residents. These include members of the most violent gangs in the world, including MS-13.
El Salvador’s President Nayib Bukele made the announcement via Twitter, accompanied by a video.
Just observe the abject humiliation these thugs are experiencing.

Justice Minister Gustavo Villatoro added on Twitter: “Cell by cell, we are eliminating this cancer from society. Know that you will not walk out of CECOT again, you will pay for what you are… cowardly terrorists.”
The prison is solely the brainchild of Bukele and a critical tool in cracking down on violent crime in El Salvador. Since taking office back in 2019, Bukele has made this his priority.
The Bukele government slashed the murder rate in El Salvador by over half by simply tightening existing laws rather than coddling gang bangers.
After a violent killing spree by the nation’s gangs in March 2022, Bukele then declared a “state of exception.” This gave his government absolute power to lock up gang members by loosening the country’s arrest laws.
These measures include legalizing warrantless arrests and giving the El Salvadorian government access to the population’s communications.
The state of exception has been extended several times by El Salvador’s congress and is overwhelmingly popular with the public.
For decades, El Salvador was considered the homicide capital of the world. Now thanks to Bukele’s law and order policies, it has the lowest crime rate in Latin America.
This just shows how one determined man with a love of country can make life-altering differences. Imagine if America had someone in office with this type of passion and patriotism.

A historic winter storm has knocked out power for over 70,000 people in California.
At the time of writing, there were 72,187 households without power in the state.
According to PowerOutage.us, which tracks outages across the country, there were over 81,000 people without power at one point earlier in the day.
“On top of the power outages, the storm also shut down major interstates in the state,” The Hill reports. “San Francisco faced record cold temperatures over the weekend, while residents in southern California were bracing for continued rain and snow through the middle of the week. It was one of the strongest storm to ever hit southern California, according to the National Weather Service.”
The National Weather Service’s Los Angeles Forecast Office has said that the storms and outages may continue as far out as Wednesday.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and Southern California Edison began repairing outages on Friday but warned that it could take 12 to 24 hours from when a customer first reports their area being down.

Under current conditions, customers experiencing outages should expect crews to respond between 12-24 hours from the time the outages are reported. Restoration may take longer depending on field conditions. TY for your understanding. Our crew won’t stop until all are restored.

The late comedian George Carlin famously said ““think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.” One individual proved Carlin correct last week by making a series of moronic moves in a single phone call.
On February 19, unidentified male called police threatening to blow up the landmark Hollywood sign unless he received a “mere” $10,000 according to TMZ.
This undertaking raises a series of questions regarding what this man was thinking (assuming he was engaging in any actual thought).
First question: one, why dial the police with a bomb threat? You are asking to be charged with a serious crime and completely lose your freedom.
Second: Why ask for $10,000? The Hollywood sign was sold for $450,400 back in 2005.
The sign first went up over Los Angeles at a cost of $21,000.
Here’s the kicker, though: not only was this man calling the police with a bomb threat unless he got a ransom, he dialed the wrong police department.
The idiot called Hollywood, Florida. This is a city on the eastern side of the Florida peninsula, about 10 miles south of Ft. Lauderdale and about 20 miles north of Miami.
While it’s somewhat understandable to mix up places with the same name, the big giveaway should have been Hollywood in California does not have it’s own police department. It is under the LAPD.
Furthermore, Hollywood is not an actual city but rather a neighborhood in Los Angeles.
The Hollywood, Florida Police Department then alerted the LAPD to inform them of the bomb threat they received. The threat was later determined to be a total hoax and no arrests were made.
The man should count himself lucky he has not only avoided charges for the bomb threat, but that stupidity is not a crime. If the latter were, he might be looking at life behind bars.

A Christian nurse was suspended from a NHS certification program after she said “being white doesn’t make you racist.”
Amy Gallagher said the harassment and bullying by the woke staff left her with crippling anxiety.
The lecturers at the NHS in Britain also taught that Christianity is responsible for racism because “it’s European.”
Amy Gallagher is bringing a lawsuit against the Tavistock Trust where she took the course.

A Christian nurse was left with ‘crippling anxiety’ after she was ‘bullied’ by ‘woke’ NHS chiefs for saying that being white doesn’t make you racist.
Amy Gallagher, 34, a mental health nurse from Orpington, Kent, was on a forensic psychology course training to be a psychotherapist at the Portman clinic, which is part of The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.
In an exclusive interview with MailOnline Amy has revealed how NHS bosses caused her ‘crippling anxiety’ after she challenged their ‘racist’ and ‘offensive’ views in lectures she was forced to attend.
Lecturers at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust told her ‘whites don’t understand the world’ and ‘Christianity is responsible for racism because it’s European’ in a series of ‘politically biased’ talks.
One of the Tavistock’s seminars was even called ‘Whiteness — a problem for our time’ and included a description on the Trust’s website that ‘the problem of racism is a problem of whiteness’.
When Amy challenged these controversial views she was ‘bullied’ by staff and suspended from the course, pending an investigation into whether she is safe to work with patients.
Almost a year later, no investigation has taken place.
It means her dream of becoming a psychotherapist is hanging by a thread.
As if that wasn’t enough, a course lecturer also tried to get her banned from her day job as a practising mental health nurse.

Five people have been arrested after a clash between protests and counter-protesters over a drag queen story hour in the UK.
The event was taking place at the Honor Oak pub in Forest Hill on Saturday.

Ahead of the planned event and protests, the Honor Oak pub released a statement on Facebook demanding that the event was family-friendly and suitable for young kids.
“It has come to our attention that there may be some misunderstanding about the event, so we wanted to reassure you all that our popular Magical Storytelling event will be age appropriate and it isn’t anything different to what families will see and experience together in a theatre,” the pub wrote.
The Daily Mail reports that the drag queen “That Girl” who was involved with the event, also issued a statement on social media saying, “we have been made aware of plans to protest our event and are grateful to those who have offered to attend in solidarity with us.”
“If you feel safe and able to join us, please come along, noting that our event will be a display of queer joy and solidarity,” the statement continued. “We ask you do not engage with any protesters – they are not looking for a conversation and we will not dignify their bigotry with a response.”
The drag queen continued, “should you need them, there will be security on site. Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you.”
According to a report from Southwark News, “although police said the protests were ‘largely peaceful,’  five people were arrested – three for affray, one for a public order offense, and one for assault on an emergency worker and possession of an offensive weapon.”
Lewisham’s National Education Union (NEU), representing teachers, attended the counter-protest and tweeted, “We will not let transphobic bigots come to our community unchallenged and won’t let far-right organizations sow division. The community responded emphatically.”
