An upcoming reprinting of Ian Fleming’s 1950’s James Bond books will contain rewritten passages to remove “racially insensitive” words and stereotypes.
The announcement comes on the heels of outrage over news that Roald Dahl’s books will be edited to be more “inclusive.”
The new prints of the books will also contain the disclaimer, “this book was written at a time when terms and attitudes which might be considered offensive by modern readers were commonplace.”
“A number of updates have been made in this edition, while keeping as close as possible to the original text and the period in which it is set,” the disclaimer adds.
Before his death, the author agreed to allow US publishers to tone down racial references in Live and Let Die.
“All of the author’s thrillers featuring 007 are set to be reissued in April to mark 70 years since Casino Royale, the first book in the series, was published,” the Telegraph reports. “Ian Fleming Publications Ltd, the company that owns the literary rights to the author’s work, commissioned a review by sensitivity readers of the classic texts under its control.”
One of the rewrites in “Live and Let Die” changes the original line referring to Africans saying that they are “pretty law-abiding chaps I should have thought, except when they’ve drunk too much” to say, “pretty law-abiding chaps I should have thought.”
The Telegraph provided more examples of the edits:
Another altered scene features Bond visiting Harlem in New York, where a salacious strip tease at a nightclub makes the male crowd, including 007, increasingly agitated.
The original passage read: “Bond could hear the audience panting and grunting like pigs at the trough. He felt his own hands gripping the tablecloth. His mouth was dry.”
The revised section replaces the pigs reference with: “Bond could sense the electric tension in the room.”
“We at Ian Fleming Publications reviewed the text of the original Bond books and decided our best course of action was to follow Ian’s lead. We have made changes to Live and Let Die that he himself authorised,” the publisher said in a statement.
“Following Ian’s approach, we looked at the instances of several racial terms across the books and removed a number of individual words or else swapped them for terms that are more accepted today but in keeping with the period in which the books were written,” the statement continued. “We encourage people to read the books for themselves when the new paperbacks are published in April.”

42-year-old former high school swimming sensation Jamaie Cail, who won a gold medal at the 1997 Pan Pacific Championships, was pronounced dead soon after being found by her boyfriend on the floor of their residence in the U.S. Virgin Islands just after midnight last Tuesday. Police are investigating her death.

St. John, USVI – On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at approximately 2:39 a.m., detectives were notified of a dead on arrival (D.O.A) case at the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic on St. John.
On Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at approximately 12:08 a.m., a male left a local bar to check on his girlfriend at their residence. Upon his arrival, he discovered his girlfriend on the floor. With assistance from a friend, the male was able to get the female to a nearby vehicle and transported the female to the Myrah Keating-Smith Clinic. Once at the clinic, CPR was rendered and 911 was notified, however, the female succumbed to her ailment. The female was identified by her boyfriend as 42-year-old, Ms. Jamie Cail from New Hampshire.
This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with any information regarding this case is urged to contact 911, Criminal Investigation Bureau, Detective J. A white student has filed a $2 million lawsuit against Howard University’s law school, a historically black college, alleging racial discrimination.
Michael Newman attended the university in 2020 until he was expelled in September 2022. He claims that the university leaders had created a “hostile education environment.”
Newman’s problems allegedly began when he wrote in a group chat that “where I part with the black community is where they believe government solves problems, I only see it causing problems.” The comment was in response to a symposium where an African-American speaker said that if Biden and Harris won the White House they would usher in a “golden age of environmental justice.”
While some students were willing to engage and debate, others “reacted with acrimony” and contacted school administrators. During this time period, Newman commented in a Zoom chat on his Legal Reading Research that he felt “utterly disenfranchised” and compared his experience to what a black person must feel at a predominantly white college. His comments were deemed “offensive,” and classmates became “more overtly hostile” and “conspired to seek his expulsion,” according to the lawsuit.
As the mob came for his education, Newman suffered “depression, anxiety and suicidal thoughts” as a result of “public ostracism, vilification and humiliation,” the lawsuit says.
While this was happening, Global Head of Diversity Recruiting Reggie McGahee allegedly told Newman he had become the most hated student he had ever since since beginning his career at the university.
McGahee ultimately told Newman to write a letter apologizing to his classmates for his insensitivity.
However, another professor spent almost an entire class discussing Newman’s alleged “racial insensitivities.”
Classmates claimed that Newman was causing them “severe stress” and distracting them from their studies.
Eventually, the classmates found Newman’s private Twitter account and saw that he had once tweeted a picture of a slave showing his scarred back with the caption, “But we don’t know what he did before the picture was taken.” He attempted to explain that it was an “attempt to explain away videos of police brutality by claiming the victim must have committed wrongdoing before the video started.”
Newman finally sent out a four-part letter trying to explain himself, but classmates mocked it as a “manifesto.”
According to a report from Fox News, “School of Law Dean Danielle Holley later secretly recorded a Zoom meeting she called with Newman and McGahee, during which she suggested Newman transfer to another school, accusing him of racially harassing classmates, according to the allegations.”
“During a digital town hall attended by 300 participants to discuss controversies surrounding Newman, Holley allegedly characterized Newman’s letters as ‘disturbing in every sense of the word,’ according to the suit,” the report continued. “She allegedly blocked him from using several functions to try and speak up in his defense, even disabling the chat function and turning off his camera.”
Holley accused Newman of “continual harassment of member [sic] of the Howard Law community, and disturbance of the learning environment at the School of Law.”
Newman also filed a complaint against Holley, saying that she had perpetuated “threats,” “discrimination” and created a “hostile academic environment.”
A panel convened about Holley’s complaint and determined that Newman was at fault and should be expelled. His complaint was never considered.
Newman is seeking the $2 million for “pain, suffering, emotional anguish and damage to his reputation.”

Jeff James suggested the air raid siren was staged to make Biden look tough.

In 2022, Republicans vowed to stay at home and cast their vote on Election Day to beat the Democrat mail-in voter fraud.  In Arizona, Republicans had the most popular and attractive slate of candidates in the history of the state.  Then on Election Day, Maricopa County officials jammed up the machines with ballots that were too big or too small.  Over 60 percent of the county’s voting centers had broken machines that were unable to count these wrong-sized ballots.  Thousands of conservatives, who made up more than 72% of Election Day voters were denied their right to vote.  Thousands had no idea if their vote even counted after they were told to throw them into Door #3 that would be counted later.

Spitfire Audio co-founder Christian Henson has announced that he is stepping down from the company after facing extreme backlash for supporting J.K. Rowling.
Rowling has been a target of extreme hate and frequent death threats from trans activists due to her unwavering belief that men cannot become women.
“As an original founder I am deeply saddened that Spitfire and Pianobook has become embroiled in something it has no involvement with,” Henson tweeted. “Spitfire employs a large number of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, all of whom are united in their passion for music, sound, and composing.”
The London-based company creates virtual instruments used for music production.
“This whole episode has taken a great toll on them. This is why I have today decided to put them first and step back from any involvement in Spitfire Audio, Pianobook and LABS, including acting in any consulting capacity,” he continued.
Henson became the target of the woke mob in September for tweeting his support for the Harry Potter author.
After the tweet, Spitfire Audio’s CEO Will Evans announced that Henson would be taking a break from his duties.

Rowling was first branded as a “TERF,” or “Trans Exclusionary Radical Feminist,” in June 2020, when she took issue with an article referring to “people who menstruate” instead of using the word “woman.”

The corrupt Democrat New Orleans mayor is one step closer to being ousted.
Recall organizers working to oust LaToya Cantrell from office say they have gathered enough signatures to block her from another term.

Organizers seeking to recall New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell from office said they collected enough signatures to put the city leader’s second term at risk.
“Right now our mayor doesn’t love New Orleans so the citizens and the residents stood up,” Eileen Carter, vice chair of the No LaToya recall campaign, told Fox News. “We’re taking our city back, and we’re gonna save New Orleans.”
The campaign’s chairman, Belden Baptiste, and Carter launched the recall effort to remove Cantrell from office in August 2022. The organizers handed the petition filled with signatures to the Orleans Parish Registrar of Voters office on Wednesday. The Feb. 22 deadline required them to hand in around 50,000 signatures, which the organizers say they exceeded.
“Mayor LaToya, it ain’t that we hate you,” Baptiste told Fox News. “You didn’t do your job, and you’re about to be fired.”
Carter, who worked in the mayor’s social media department for three years, told Fox News it was difficult to watch Cantrell “quiet quit” in her second term. The mayor’s public calendar used to have regular meetings with department heads, but she hadn’t had any on her schedule in over a year as of November, according to a local Fox affiliate’s review of public records.
“It’s like a tale of two mayors,” Carter said. “I don’t think she’s making very good judgment decisions for the city at all, to the point of arrogance.”
Last year LaToya Cantrell came under fire for spending more than $30,000 of taxpayer money to fly first class to Europe.
Meanwhile violent crime is surging in New Orleans.
Cantrell argued the first class flights were for her safety as a black woman and to protect her from Covid.
In a press conference last week, Mayor Cantrell said, “my travel accommodations are a matter of safety, not of luxury…. I need to be safe as I do business on behalf of the city of New Orleans.”
Cantrell’s security guards traveled to Europe in coach.
LaToya Cantrell also partied maskless after imposing a mask mandate for the city of New Orleans.
The Democrat hypocrites partied maskless while the peasants were forced to mask.

“And then he said I want you to make sure a reporter asks me about this, even though it’s not a topic of the press conference, I want my voice in this.”

Q Mr. President, may I ask you about this current case in Florida, very controversial, allegations of lingering racism within our society — the so-called do not — I’m sorry — Stand Your Ground law and the justice in that? Can you comment on the Trayvon Martin case, sir?
THE PRESIDENT: Well, I’m the head of the executive branch, and the Attorney General reports to me so I’ve got to be careful about my statements to make sure that we’re not impairing any investigation that’s taking place right now.
But obviously, this is a tragedy. I can only imagine what these parents are going through. And when I think about this boy, I think about my own kids. And I think every parent in America should be able to understand why it is absolutely imperative that we investigate every aspect of this, and that everybody pulls together — federal, state and local — to figure out exactly how this tragedy happened.

Reporting at the time on the context of Obama’s comments, Time called the question “unplanned” (excerpt):
In a flash, by answering an unplanned question shouted during an unrelated event, Obama had erased the careful distance from the case that his aides have maintained for days. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to Trayvon Martin’s family,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said on March 19. “But obviously, we’re not going to wade into a local law-enforcement matter. I would refer you to the Justice Department and local law enforcement at this point.”
Obama’s press handlers have discouraged the President from getting involved in local issues. It took them weeks to deal with the fallout from his comments on Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates’ run-in with local law enforcement in 2009. In 2010, Obama’s comments supporting the concept of an Islamic center in lower Manhattan undercut weeks of Democratic messaging on the economy before the midterm elections.
But on Friday, Obama did it again, deliberately. The Martin case has laid bare racial tensions nationwide. And in speaking out, the President was taking real political risk.
When Zimmerman was acquitted a year later, Obama asked Americans to “honor Trayvon Martin” (who was shot while pounding Zimmerman’s head into the sidewalk.):
“The death of Trayvon Martin was a tragedy. Not just for his family, or for any one community, but for America. I know this case has elicited strong passions. And in the wake of the verdict, I know those passions may be running even higher. But we are a nation of laws, and a jury has spoken. I now ask every American to respect the call for calm reflection from two parents who lost their young son. And as we do, we should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to widen the circle of compassion and understanding in our own communities. We should ask ourselves if we’re doing all we can to stem the tide of gun violence that claims too many lives across this country on a daily basis. We should ask ourselves, as individuals and as a society, how we can prevent future tragedies like this. As citizens, that’s a job for all of us. That’s the way to honor Trayvon Martin.”

Fox News host Rachel Campos-Duffy went off on Joe Biden for “systemic racism” against white people while speaking about the disaster in East Palestine, Ohio.
Campos-Duffy did not hold back in her rant on Friday night’s episode of Fox News Channel’s Jesse Watters Primetime.
“There there is systemic racism and classism, and it’s against white working-class Americans who voted for Trump when living in Trump country,” Campos-Duffy asserted. “And we’re seeing it glaring us in the face right now.”

The host also slammed Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, saying that he looks like “a grumpy Bob the Builder” who “didn’t want to be there at all.”
“But there’s other people that weren’t there and that were also discriminating, discriminating against this community,” Campos-Duffy continued. “Think about the environmental activists and corporate America. They weren’t there. I mean, this with the activists. This is an Erin Brockovich moment. I mean, there was a blockbuster Oscar-winning movie written about something like this.”
Watters pointed out that “Erin Brockovich is actually in East Palestine tonight. Right now.”
Campos-Duffy replied, “she is. She is. But where’s Julia Roberts, an environmental activist? Where’s George Clooney? Where’s Leonardo DiCaprio? Where are, you know, the annoying Duchess and Prince of Montecito? Where’s Greta Thurnboog screaming ‘How dare you?’”
“None of these people have shown up,” she continued. “And corporate America, who normally you know, when there’s a disaster, a hurricane, a tornado or the war in Ukraine, they all get together because a. American corporations have always been philanthropic, but they know it’s good for business to show what they’re they’re not there either where’s Airbnb offering free lodging? Where is American beverage companies? Goya is there… Goya Foods is there and Trump water is there. But who else?”
“This is classism. This is racism. And this is political retaliation for for those people who are living there,” she added. “And, by the way, those corporations, Jesse. Many of them maybe want to help, but they know that this administration is highly vindictive and they could sic the EPA or the FBI or the IRS on them. And so they’re holding back because this administration has signaled to the country, nothing’s happening here. We don’t care. Don’t show up.”
Watters replied, “yeah, it’ll embarrass the administration if corporate America, comes in and helps this town. You’re right about that.”

As rumors swirl about West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin potentially launching a bid for the White House, a reporter asked if he still even identifies as a Democrat.
Sen. Manchin did not directly answer the question, instead stating that he identifies “as an American.”
Manchin’s political future and party were discussed during an interview on Fox News’s “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“I identify as an American,” Manchin said. “I’m an American through and through.”

The moderate senator’s term ends in 2024 and there has been much speculation in the media about his plans for the future. He has stated that he will not be running for governor, but has been evasive with questions about a presidential run.
“My main concern is how do we bring this country together?” Manchin said. “How do we make it work? How do we make Democrats, Republicans become Americans again, and not just party affiliates?”
In December, Manchin said he had no intention of switching to an independent but suggested that might change in the future.
“I don’t know how you get more independent than I am,” he said, according to a report from ABC News. “I look at all of these things, I’ve always looked at all of these things. But I have no intention of doing anything right now. Whether I do something later, I can’t tell you what the future is going to bring.”
The senator has long been the subject of ire from Democrats over his refusal to cave to their every whim.
“I’m not a Washington Democrat, I don’t know what to tell you,” Manchin said. “But I have a lot of friends who aren’t Washington Republicans and if a Washington independent is, as I said, more comfortable, you know we’ll see what happens there, we’ll have to look. People were registering more for independents than any party affiliation. They are sick and tired of it.”
