“Gender transition guidelines” for CVS employees require them to use coworkers’ preferred pronouns and allow men to use the women’s restrooms.
Men can use whichever bathroom they prefer, whether they claim to be transgender or not, according to the guidelines obtained by FOX Business.
Per the guidelines, according to the report, “employees are told they may be entitled to a medical leave of absence ‘under the Family and Medical Leave Act, state law, and/or CVS Health policy.’ Transitioning employees are asked to tell their immediate leaders about their transition so the company ‘can provide support and to make your transition as smooth as possible.’”
“You may also wish to have appropriate medical care to support your transition, including treatments such as hormone replacement therapy and/or gender confirmation surgery,” the guidelines state.
The guide continues, “During and after the transition has occurred, CVS Health encourages you to continue to partner with your Leader and your Advice & Counsel representative, and to immediately report any issues that you might have with your employment, your work environment, and/or your Leader, co-workers, clients, and customers.”
The guidelines contain a section titled “Guidelines for Supporting a Colleague who is Transitioning,” which “encourages employees to be an ally by asking colleagues to let them know if they say or do anything that makes them uncomfortable.”
CVS tells transgender employees to tell their coworkers that they “won’t tolerate even subtle forms of discrimination or harassment in the workplace.”
Employees are not permitted to “misgender” a transgender employee once they have been told their preferred pronouns and must use their new chosen name when addressing them.
“People use different terms to refer to themselves, but some terms are universally considered disrespectful and violate CVS’s policy against discrimination and harassment,” the guide states. “Terms like transgender, trans-male/trans-female, non-binary or ‘male’ or ‘female’ should be used.”
Regarding bathroom use, the company says customers and employees should “determine the most appropriate for themselves.”
“Any colleague, customer, or patient—transgender or otherwise–may choose to use the restroom and/or locker room that is appropriate to the gender they identify with,” the guide reads.
The policies also say that transgender employees can “dress in accordance with their gender identity.”

Americans are losing in Joe Biden’s economy.
Thanks to Biden’s inflation, Americans cut back spending in multiple industries in March.
Spending at gas stations fell 5.5%, sales at general merchandise stores fell 3%, sales at clothing stores fell 1.7% and spending at car dealerships fell 1.5%.
Sales of electronics, appliances, and furniture also dropped.
The Hill reported:
Spending at gas stations fell 5.5 percent last month, the biggest drop of any category, amid falling oil prices and weaker demand. Sales were down 14.2 percent compared to March 2022.
Sales at general merchandise stores, which sell a broad range of items, fell 3 percent last month.
The report indicates a pullback in spending on pricier products. Sales of electronics and appliances plummeted 2.1 percent in March and 10.3 percent on the year. Furniture store sales fell 1.2 percent last month and declined 2.4 percent on the year.
Clothing store sales fell 1.7 percent in March. The industry had been propped up by luxury sales, but luxury clothing giant LVMH warned this week that U.S. demand is starting to soften after years of big spending.
Spending at car dealerships fell 1.5 percent last month. The industry has finally moved past pandemic supply chain snags, and demand is falling. In March, the transaction price of new vehicles fell below manufacturers’ suggested retail price for the first time in 20 months, according to Kelley Blue Book.
Rather than taking responsibility for the struggling economy, Biden lies about it.

A powerful interview of Jacksonville, Florida Sheriff TK Waters is making the rounds.
Waters joined Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade to discuss his approach to addressing crime in the city as well as his recent election as a Republican in Duval County.
Kilmeade: As a Republican to win in the inner-city, it doesn’t happen that much. Why do you think you won in November?
Waters: I think people realize and recognize the experience, recognize I’m an old school policeman. I believe in law enforcement. I believe in taking care of our people…and I think that’s a big reason. And that message resonated with people.
Kilmeade: But what got you in law enforcement to begin with? Was it always your goal to be a sheriff?
Waters: I started, I’m a military kid.  My dad was in the Army for 32 years, retired Command Sergeant Major,  my plan was to join the military.  I lost a cousin in 1990 to murder and when that happened, I decided I was going to become a policeman.
Kilmeade: So now, you took on the tough job of Jacksonville.
Waters: Yes.
Kilmeade: So as you look at your main obstacle, the stats say it’s gang activity. How do you attack it?
Waters: So we built a program in Jacksonville called our Violence Reduction Strategy or program. And what we’ve done is we’ve created an outreach and support piece and an enforcement piece.  And it’s targeted.
Its focus is mainly on the young men in our community that commit violent crime and we track them, we watch their activity, we watch it realtime.  We watch on social media. We do several different things to do to try to stop that and curtail that.
Kilmeade:  I live in a city, New York City,  where you have a DA that thinks criminal first. The  quick thing is how do we get these criminals back out on the street or leave them there forever.  Do you have support here from prosecutors and District Attorneys?
Waters: Melissa Nelson is our elected State Attorney. She’s amazing.  Part of that program, I’ll tell you, she actually created what we call our Targeted Prosecution Unit. And the same individuals that we’re looking at on a day-to-day basis, that we track on a day-to-day basis, she has attorneys assigned to that unit to help us make connections with those guys.
Kilmeade: So you believe you’re backed. What makes you Republican?
Waters: Just my core belief system. I don’t believe that,  one: I don’t need someone to help me do anything. I mean I think that with a drive and education, I’m capable of accomplishing anything.  I believe in law and order.  I believe in fiscal conservatism…I believe in African Americans being able to accomplish anything in America and I don’t follow the line that we’re not able to accomplish anything without help.
Kilmeade: When you look at Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington, they tend to be conservatives. Has that been lost when people start talking about what’s happening right now in America?
Waters: I think that it has… I think if you look ….look, I was just elected sheriff… elected sheriff …in Duval County, Florida  the Southeast. For anyone to say that it’s not possible for us to obtain and achieve, it’s ludicrous.
Kilmeade: So this is Black History Month.
Waters: Yes.
Kilmeade: What should America know about the state of race relations today according to Sheriff Waters?
Waters: I think there are pockets where there are issues.I think racism is…it’s here, it’s real.… I wouldn’t deny that.
But it’s not a determining factor about who we are as a community, as a nation. I think, overall, we’re in a really good position.  I think,  if you really look at it, the fact that I’m elected is proof positive we can do anything. And our nation is in a good place. An explosive devise was thrown at Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during a campaign event Saturday. Kishida was evacuated after the incident and was not injured, but one police officer sustained minor injuries.  The suspect was wrestled to the ground by police and is in custody.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Kishida’s predecessor, Former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe,  who was assassinated in July of 2022 after being shot in the back.

AP reports:

One police officer was slightly hurt and Kishida continued campaigning Saturday, but the chaotic scene was reminiscent of the assassination nine months ago of former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, which also came on a campaign tour and continues to reverberate in Japanese politics. Kishida was visiting Saikazaki port in Wakayama prefecture to support his ruling party’s candidate in a local election, and the explosion occurred just before he was to begin his speech.
A young man believed to be a suspect was arrested Saturday at the scene after he allegedly threw “the suspicious object,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Hirokazu Matsuno told reporters. Matsuno refused to comment on the suspect’s motive and background, saying police are still investigating.
TV footage shows Kishida standing with his back to the crowd. His security detail suddenly points to the ground near him, and the prime minister whips around, looking alarmed. The camera quickly turns to the crowd just as several people, including uniformed and plainclothes police officers, converge on a young man wearing a white surgical mask and holding what appears to be another device, a long silver tube.
As they collapse on top of the man, working to remove the tube from his hands, a large explosion is heard near where Kishida had been standing. The crowd scatters in panic as police roughly drag the man away.
It wasn’t immediately clear what the explosive device was or how many the suspect had, but some reports said it was a smoke or pipe bomb, possibly with a delayed fuse.
No injuries among the crowd were reported in the incident, which came on the eve of a major international forum in Japan. Kishida was not hurt and continued his campaign speeches later Saturday, Matsuno said. One police officer was slighlty injured.

A 7-year-old and a 19-year-old were killed in a house fire Monday that officials said was caused by an e-bike battery.
The fire began on the first-floor vestibule of an Astoria, Queens, apartment building located on 46th Street and quickly spread to the second floor, where a man and his six children lived, according to local news outlet WNBC.
Aided by multiple neighbors, the father was able to escape with several of his children after climbing through a second-story window.
A neighbor who lived across the street told the New York Times that after catching one of the children, he saw two others crying for help from the window, but they disappeared from sight.

“We told them to jump, we cought two kids, Father and another kid jumped out of the window and got cought” – neighbor rushed to help as apartment engulfed in flames, killing two people this afternoon in Astoria, Queens.

Of the six children, two didn’t survive: a 19-year-old female and a 7-year-old boy. According to the Times, their mother also lived in the apartment, but was not home at the time of the incident.
Another person was injured and was transported to a local hospital, WNBC reported.
The fire is believed to have been sparked by an electric bike’s lithium-ion battery, which was being charged near the front door of the downstairs apartment, according to the Times.

First responders were notified of the fire at around 2 p.m. and, with the help of over 100 fire personnel, had it under control an hour later, WNBC reported.
By that time, the fire had done significant damage, reaching from the front of the building to the back and all the way up to the roof.
Fire officials warned that e-bikes have been responsible for close to 60 other fires in the city just this year, with five people dying in those incidents, according to WNBC.
“If this was not an e-bike fire, most likely we would’ve been able to put this fire out without incident,” Department Chief John Hodgens said, according to an FDNY Instagram post.
“This bike was right at the front door of the house and the occupants didn’t have a chance to get out of the building.
“The way these fires occur, it’s like an explosion of fire, and these occupants have very little chance of escaping.”
Chief Fire Marshall Dan Flynn said Monday’s fire might have been caused by using an aftermarket charger on the e-bike.
FDNY officials implored consumers not to do this.
“We know people have e-bikes and similar micro-mobility devices, and we are imploring users to follow all manufacturer safety guidelines and recommendations,” Fire Commissioner Laura Kavanagh said in a statement, the Times reported.
Democratic Rep. Nydia Velázquez of New York’s 7th district expressed her sorrow for the death of the two children and their grieving families.
“We MUST do more to protect New Yorkers from these fires and save lives,” she wrote on Twitter.
“We need federal legislation to address this issue,” Velasquez added in another tweet. “In March, I introduced legislation to create safe and publicly accessible charging stations to help get these batteries out of homes and reduce the risk of fires.”
The legislation proposed by Velasquez, according to the New York Daily News, would require $500 million to fund public charging and storage stations for electric bikes, as well as scooters and mopeds.

So they heard 7 hours of someone talk about how they built probably one of the greatest companies this country’s ever seen.  I mean that is amazing, what they are accusing him of, it’s perfect. 
Because they actually accuse him of overinflating the value of his assets and actually they were undervalued and he made back the banks all of their money and then some.
So they’re trying to make it a crime, for I guess, making money for your investors. 
The whole thing is but another lawfare tactic.  And President Trump has nothing to hide but the point is to try to bog him down, bog the campaign down, attacking him on all these different angles, make him spend money, make him spend the time, divert resouces which exactly like you’re saying Joe, I think was a brilliant point.
That was the point of the whole Russiagate too.  I mean that was part of it.  But they had to smear President Trump and make up a bunch of lies about him to divert everybody to him when he did nothing wrong to hide what they were actually doing because before they spied on President Trump they were spying on everybody.
I mean remember what they were doing with the Iran deal?  They were spying on members of Congress…Imaging what we don’t know.
