An Orange County man has been sentenced to one year in prison for threatening the ultra-woke Merriam-Webster dictionary online.
Jeremy Hanson, 35, was angrily responding to definition changes for words like “girl,” “woman,” and “female.”
Prosecutors had argued that Hanson has a history of “threatening communications, nearly all of which were motivated by … biases based upon race, gender, gender identity, and/or sexual orientation.”
Hanson also allegedly sent angry messages to the American Civil Liberties Union, Amnesty International, Land O’ Lakes Inc., Hasbro, a nonbinary rabbi and others.
Prosecutors also argued that they wanted to make an example of him and use his sentencing as a “deterrent to others at a time when violent rhetoric is becoming more common,” according to a report from the Orange County Register.
The “threats” Hanson made were sent through the “contact” form on Merriam-Webster’s website.
“It is absolutely sickening that Merriam-Webster now tells blatant lies and promotes anti-science propaganda,” Hanson wrote, according to prosecutors. “There is no such thing as ‘gender identity.’ The imbecile who wrote this entry should be hunted down and shot.”
The messages were sent between October 2 and October 8.
During the sentencing hearing, Judge Mark Mastroianni in U.S District Court in Springfield said that Merriam-Webster management was “fearful that Hanson would come to their office and cause harm.”
Hanson pleaded guilty last year to “interstate transmission of threatening communications in connection with threats,” against the Massachusetts-based dictionary publisher.
Hanson was sentenced Thursday in a federal court in Massachusetts. According to the Orange County Register, he was additionally sentenced to “30 days of home confinement, three years of probation and mental health treatment.”

The Star Tribune spoke to a 12-year-old boy who identifies as a girl in their fawning event coverage.
“It’s cool that everyone’s showing up today. It’s very cool,” Hildie Edwards, who will be 13 in July, told the Tribune. “All these adults, showing up and saying, ‘I love these trans kids.’”
“Hildie’s” parents started transitioning him to a girl in kindergarten, according to the report.
A group of protesters had gone to the originally planned location, but it had been changed at the last minute.
According to a report from the Washington Free Beacon, “Goepferd has been a vocal supporter of Minnesota’s proposed ‘trans refuge’ bill, which the Minnesota House passed last week and would allow children from other states to receive sex-change surgeries and puberty blockers in the state. The activist in January testified in support of the bill at a Minnesota House hearing.”
Conservative legal experts and advocacy organizations are warning that the way that the “trans refuge” bill is written means that Minnesota parents can lose custody of their children if they do not consent to sex change procedures, puberty blockers, or hormones.
“The most insidious aspect of this bill is the language that adds children who are being denied ‘gender-affirming care’ (defined as everything from therapy to hormone blockers, to transition surgery) to what amounts to the definition for a child ‘in need of protection or services’ in Minnesota, allowing the courts to take ‘emergency custody’ of the child,” Bob Roby, a licensed attorney in Minnesota with more than 30 years experience in family and juvenile court, told Fox News.

The Cedar Rapids event with Kevin Sorbo and Kari Lake drew a crowd of over 600 people to see Arizona’s duly elected governor and celebrate Good Friday. Many were sitting in the overflow section of the room.

The line to get in stretched through the entire hotel lobby and out the doors early in the morning.

The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson spoke to Kevin Sorbo after the event about the woke radical left and cancel culture. Sorbo also shared his thoughts on Kari Lake and President Trump’s stolen elections.
No honest person believes that Joe Biden or Katie Hobbs legitimately won their elections. Katie Hobbs, who oversaw her own election as Secretary of State, also campaigned from the basement, refused to debate Kari Lake, was down by double digits in the polls, and threatened elections officials who questioned her “victory” with felony charges.
Prior to the interview, Sorbo told Conradson that he wants President Trump to be reelected for four more years and would like to see Kari Lake or Ron DeSantis as a VP pick. “I hope if Trump gets in, he looks at DeSantis or looks at Kari Lake to be his running mate,” said Sorbo.

Conradson: You gave a great speech out there at the Good Friday Prayer Breakfast. A big theme of it was wokeness. God is not woke, and wokeness is destroying our country. We’re in a crisis of faith. can you build more on that?
Sorbo: Here’s the insanity of these people, these cancel culture wimps and these woke wussies: all they have is their anger and hate. I would love to have a conversation with them without; all they do is want to out-yell you. They just think if they yell at you, they won the argument, and they have no logic behind the things they go after. So here’s my thing to these wokies out there and these cancel culture punks, and that’s what they are: You need to go on the road and explain to us how we can be better human beings like you because apparently, all these wokies and cancel culture people have never done anything to be embarrassed about in their lives. They’re like Jesus, they’ve led perfect, sin-free lives. They’re amazing people. That’s why they go after people like you and me because we’re horrible people. So, I think we need them to go and speak to people like us to make us better human beings like they are. And yes, that is dripping with sarcasm.
Conradson: You spoke about people like Hitler and Stalin, these supreme leaders that think they are God-like. Is that where we’re heading today if our country does not jump off this wokeness train that we’re on?
Sorbo: Well, it’s crazy because it seems they get more and more and more insane. That’s the weird thing about this, and I don’t understand the press, why they run with us. I’m sure some of these liberal press people behind closed doors are going, what are we doing? You look at Biden as a President, and you’re going, guys really? You see the blubbering sleepy Joe stuff that he does, and are you telling me this guy got more votes than any president in history? He got 81 million votes by not campaigning? You know when sleepy Joe showed us? He showed us as a president, you do not have to campaign anymore. Just sit in the basement of your house and don’t ever go out. Trump goes out and 50,000 people show up. When he went out, maybe a dozen people showed up. They were so embarrassed even on the networks to say it. The reporters like you would be over on the side. “Well, there’s not a lot of people here but you know,” and they didn’t know what to do and say because it was embarrassing, but you’re telling me this guy got the most votes? And here’s the thing, it is not racist to show an ID. It makes no sense. The Democrat Party is telling the African Americans that they’re too dumb or ignorant to be able to get their own ID. And I saw a documentary on this guy, they went into Harlem, interviewing the African Americans in there, and asked them, “Do you have an ID?” “Of course I do.” And then you know, “you white folks are idiots to think that we can’t get it. The DMV is right there.” They all know. Who wants to keep people and chains is the Democrat party?
Conradson: That’s true, and especially in Arizona, we also had a similar candidate to Joe Biden, who couldn’t pull in a crowd. She was actually a twice-convicted racist. I’m not sure if you heard about that with Katie Hobbs.
Sorbo: Unbelievable. She wouldn’t even debate Kari Lake. And she should recuse herself anyway. It’s ridiculous. This whole thing in Arizona, really? I mean, I know a lot of people are moving out there from California. Maybe that’s their mission. They destroyed California. Now they’re moving in Nevada and Arizona to turn these into socialist hellholes. Socialism has never worked. I don’t care how you want to look at it. Socialism and Communism do not work. Capitalism may not be perfect, but it’s the system that made America great. It was individuals that made America great not big government.
Conradson: We’ve also got this push for transgenderism. We’re seeing it in schools, this LGBTQ push, and really, I see it as taking God out of the picture. What are your thoughts on this disgusting push for transgenderism?
Sorbo: Everything they’ve done as they got out of the picture. I mean, we started back in 1964 and took the Bible out of school. We give Bibles to prisoners, of course, but not to children. The Bible was the original school book, and you know, everybody was homeschooled before we started public education, which is atrocious. One of the blessings of COVID, which I mentioned in there, is that 2 million more families are now homeschooling because they saw how horrible school boards are, how horrible these teachers are. Because these teachers now have gone through the last, you know, the ones that are 40 years old, 20 to 40 years old, have all been indoctrinated to the ridiculousness of Socialism and Communism in the schools. Don’t go to college. It’s a waste of time unless you’re going to Liberty or some other place like that. It’s a waste of money, it’s a waste of time. I met a girl, I shot a movie the other day, and this young 20-year-old actress, I said “what are you majoring in?” She says “I’m majoring in feminism gender studies,” and in my brain, I want to say, what kind of degree is that? You’re going to spend $250,000 of your parents’ money over four years to do what? Get a real degree if you’re going to college, get something in engineering, or science, or business, something. I mean these 17th-century French literature, I met another woman doing that, I go what does that do? It gives you no real job. Now you’re just in debt. What do you do with a BA in English? If you’re not going and teaching, it’s useless. So I don’t get it, and I don’t like what we’re doing the transgender thing. It represents, what is it 0.25% of the population, but everything we do now? What rights don’t they have? What rights don’t they have? And to me it’s like, you guys are all just screaming and yelling and mad and pushing this agenda down our throats. People like me are sick of it. Live your life fine, live your life. I’m not saying you can’t get this, or that, or that, whatever this white people are getting over other people. I’m all for people living the lives they want to live as long as they’re not harming other people.
Conradson: I want to shift a little bit to the 2024 Presidential race. Are you supporting President Trump for ‘24?
Sorbo: I like Trump. I like DeSantis. They’re both great. I mean, what Trump did for the country was amazing. And the press just beat him up. Do I think the voting was a fraud? Yeah, I do. I think it was pretty obvious there were a bunch of mules out there, stuffing ballots or covering up voting locations and not letting people see what’s going on. You’ve got on tape people actually filling in one after the other voting for Biden. Watching the election results come in, I literally saw on CNN, like 500,000 votes taken away from Trump and moved to Biden. It was like that. They don’t even hide the fact that they’re cheating with it. And what has Biden done for the country? Five million more illegal aliens in the country, we don’t know anything about them. Our country stops Djokovic, the number one tennis player in the world from coming to the country because he didn’t take a vax; he didn’t get that shot that’s going to make him die from a heart attack. But we have five million that have already come across the border in two years. Do we know, are they all vaxxed? Are they all perfect human beings? Are they here to help the country or hurt the country? But the hypocrisy of don’t let the number one tennis player in the world come in because, I mean, I made the joke, I said he should just come down the border and cross it that way. We’ll get him car we’ll get him a license, we’ll get him a phone. It’s just, I don’t know, it’s comical. The world is laughing at us right now because we look like idiots.

A train carrying hazardous materials has derailed in rural Maine.
According to Fox23 Maine, “Canadian Pacific Railways says one of their trains derailed around 8:30am on Saturday morning.They say lumber cars and three locomotives derailed about 15 miles east of Jackman, in the Moosehead Lake region due to a track washout. The train caught fire and the company says only involved the locomotives and lumber cars, not the hazardous materials that were also being carried on the train.”
Rockwood Fire & Resuce asked area residents to steer clear of the area, “”Train derailment with fire north of rockwood, hazzard materials please stay clear!”

Rocky Hill, Connecticut – Four thugs got more than they bargained for after trying to steal a Connecticut man’s car earlier this week and left empty-handed.
NBC Connecticut reports the violent event occurred Monday just after 7 p.m. on Valley View Drive.
As reported by Fox News, the homeowner’s Ring video surveillance system captured the entire incident and police released the video to the public for help in identifying the perpetrators.
The video begins with a carjacker easily breaking into a red Infiniti. The homeowner suddenly emerges and drags the hoodlum out of the vehicle.
Footage next shows the homeowner and suspect grappling before two more thugs arrive. They eventually pin the homeowner to the ground and start pounding on him.

A final suspect arrives on scene and stares like a clueless idiot while the assault continues. Things are starting to look bleak for the homeowner.
The incident takes sudden turn when a woman inside the house screams she is calling the cops. This causes the suspects to flee the scene.
The video concludes with the suspects piling into a black Mercedes and driving off.
Rocky Hill Police Sgt. Jeffrey Foss-Rugan said the homeowner was fortunate to have escaped without serious injuries considering one of the suspects could have had a weapon.
Thank God that he wasn’t seriously hurt. We’re seeing a lot of these incidents throughout the state and the country that people are intervening, and the suspect may have a weapon.
Lisa (last name withheld), a neighbor of the victim, said her car had previously been broken into several times.
In the past, we’ve had our car broken into in our driveway several times, that is just such a violation.
The Rocky Hill Police Department wants anyone with information on the incident to contact them.

“The allegations in the Indictment are merely accusations, and the defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.”
So reads a DOJ release from the Southern District of New York regarding the arrest of Guo Wengui and his associate, Yanping “Yvette” Wang.
But actions speak louder than words—and the prosecution of a case alleging whistleblower Guo Wengui (aka Miles Guo and Ho Wan Kwok) of orchestrating fraud against investors, is fraught with inconsistencies and unsubstantiated allegations. Not only that, prosecutors admitted to the courts that they are working with Communist China to bring down Guo, who is the CCP’s #1 enemy.
Investor “Victims” Stand with Guo Against ‘Weaponized’ DOJ, SEC
Thousands of people know that this case is yet another example of the weaponization of the DOJ on behalf of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and they are making their voices heard.
On April 8, and April 9, 2023, over 500 people – all GTV investors – demonstrated in chilly Central Park and then again on a yacht by the Statue of Liberty, chanting “Free Miles Guo,” including several music and alternative media celebrities. Similar protests took place in countries including Great Britain, Germany, Japan and others; on April 9, Taiwanese media reported that Taiwan’s GTV investors strongly assert that Miles Guo did not defraud them and they are demanding the release of Guo.
To these protestors, millions of supporters, and to anyone who’s examined the court documents, it seems clear that the DOJ is holding Mr. Guo and his associate, Yvette Wang, without bail as retribution for exposing their corruption and CCP collusion with the CCP to members of Congress. Nearly all the investors claim that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), not Guo, illegally took their money and has not returned it two years later.
Are they “burying” Guo and Wang in prison to hide their own guilt? It would seem so.
Mistreating Yvette Wang: Bartering with Bail
Let’s pull back the curtain and examine the DOJ’s misuse of the right to bail in an attempt to coerce Yvette Wang into “ratting out” Guo. Remember these prosecutors are doing all of this strongarming based on “mere accusations” of people “presumed innocent.” Why are they putting in so much effort into a run-of-the-mill alleged financial fraud case?
Arrested on the same day as Mr. Guo, March 15, Yvette Wang was arraigned separately and initially offered bail of $5 million, including the chance to have co-signers with “moral suasion.” In response, Wang’s legal team assembled eight co-signers who then put up four times the bail amount. The prosecution rejected all eight, claiming they are “victims” of the alleged fraud. Yet, why would “victims” put their own funds on the line to assure bail for a so-called “perpetrator?” It makes no sense, and the prosecutors have found no credible investor claiming they were victimized by anyone other than the SEC, a division of the DOJ.
That’s very fishy but, “hold the DOJ’s beer,” it gets worse.
Wang’s lawyer requested a bond hearing, claiming the prosecution had no valid reason to keep her in jail. Due to that legal foundation of presumed innocence, bail is almost never denied, especially in non-violent cases—take the release of Pras Michel and Sam Bankman-Fried on bail for similar charges, for instance.
The hearing was granted and went before a new judge, Hon. Robert W. Lehrburger.
“Future allegations”: Looking for a Crime
At the heart of the prosecution’s justification for denying bail was an allegation that Wang lied after being asked, “do you have any cash on you.” They accuse her, in other words, of hiding assets. However, they reportedly do not allege that she stole anything.
According to an eyewitness at the hearing, Judge Lehrburger repeatedly addressed the prosecution, saying, “you’re calling her [Wang] a liar, but what was the lie?” The prosecution reportedly responded that they didn’t know but they are “reserving the right” to make more allegations in the future.
What?! Far from a presumption of innocence, this is a tactic the DOJ has been accused of in several recent cases: looking for a crime to fit the allegations.
Wang’s lawyer told the judge that the prosecution was keeping her in jail to coerce her into “squealing” on Mr. Guo, which is immoral. He also denied she is a flight risk, pointing out that her passport is expired.
The judge expressed concern by pointing out that bail is not intended for the government to make money, but rather to uphold the principles of justice [such as presumption of innocence]. He ended the two-hour hearing by ordering the prosecution and the defense to submit more information.
“The Court has some follow-up questions to the bail hearing held on April 4, 2023,” reads the Order. The judge essentially wants the following:

Date verification to determine whether the FBI asked Wang about her assets the day of the arrest—in which case she was under no obligation to answer—and the date(s) of any interview of the defendant by Pretrial Services, or the Government, that occurred after the March 15, 2023 hearing in which Judge Parker set conditions for Defendant’s release
What, exactly, the defendant was asked to disclose
For the prosecution to produce four documents substantiating specific accusations
Proof of accounts and assets

Confidence in the DOJ is at a new low, but the good news is that we yet have some judges committed to the Rule of Law and the principles of Justice this country was founded upon, including the presumption of innocence. They should be praised for their commitment to that Oath. And, considering the DOJ’s shameful and transparent use of lawfare against freedom-loving people on behalf of the CCP, Mr. Guo and Yvette Wang should be granted reasonable bail and released immediately.

Two people were shot outside of GOP Congressman Lee Zeldin’s Long Island home.
A 21-year-old woman visiting New York City from St. Louis, Missouri was raped on a subway platform.
A 14-year-old boy was fatally stabbed on a New York City subway platform over the summer.
But don’t worry New Yorkers!  Jerry said it is just an illusion made up for political gain.

Manhattan Congressman Jerry Nadler said he will come out swinging in defense of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg during the panel’s Monday hearing in New York.
The hearing will focus on the victims of Bragg’s soft-on-crime policies.
“We will show the essentially fraudulent nature of what [committee chair] Jim Jordan and company are claiming about the crime rates in New York and compared to other cities, including Republican-led cities,” Nadler told The Post.
“And we will talk about how this whole hearing is part of Jim Jordan and the Republicans’ general attempts to obstruct justice and to attack the DA in Manhattan and to obstruct justice in the Trump case,” he added, referring to the president’s indictment in Manhattan last month.

Former President Donald Trump poked fun at his former vice president for getting booed when he came out on stage at the National Rifle Association conference on Friday afternoon.
Former Vice President Mike Pence was met with a chorus of boos after being introduced by NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre for his speech at the NRA-ILA Leadership Forum in Indiana.
During Trump’s speech at the same event later in the day, Trump pointed to his much higher approval ratings.
“We’re leading so big in the polls, not only against Republicans, but also against Joe Biden. And if you take a look at this week’s Morning Consult poll, I led the field by 33 points with Trump 56 to Sanctus 23, Pence five,” Trump said.
Trump then trolled Pence about his welcome to the stage.

Joe Biden on Friday night got testy with reporters who repeatedly asked him when he will be announcing his 2024 reelection campaign.
Biden has not officially announced a 2024 run.
Reporters peppered Biden with questions as he prepared to board Air Force One en route to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware after spending 4 days in Ireland.
“Do you know whether the last few days have changed your calculus on when you’ll make an announcement on your plans for 2024,” a reporter asked.
“No, no, no, no. I’ve already made that calculus. We’ll announce it relatively soon,” Biden said. “But the trip here just reinforced my sense of optimism about what can be done.”
“So you’ve made a decision,” a reporter queried.
A visibly annoyed Joe Biden responded, “I told you my plan is to run again!”
Old Joe needs a nap.
