The state’s high court also ruled that felons have to complete their full sentences before being given the right to vote again.

The North Carolina Supreme Court reversed itself Friday on whether partisan gerrymandering and a strict voter ID law violate the state Constitution, in a pair rulings with implications far outside the state.
The court — which flipped to GOP control in January — said in February that it would break with tradition and revisit two high-profile voting rights rulings not long after the previous Democratic-controlled court had ruled against the Republican-controlled state Legislature in the cases.
The redistricting ruling sets up North Carolina to return to legislative maps that give Republicans an aggressive edge over Democrats both locally and in the U.S. House. It also offers the U.S. Supreme Court an opportunity to sidestep ruling on a broad legal theory tied to this case.
The North Carolina Supreme Court had previously said partisan gerrymandering violated the state Constitution’s free elections protections, but the new Republican justices said they were wrong to do so.
“Our constitution expressly assigns the redistricting authority to the General Assembly subject to explicit limitations in the text. Those limitations do not address partisan gerrymandering,” they wrote.

Three soldiers were killed and a fourth was hospitalized Thursday after two Army helicopters collided during a training exercise in Alaska.
According to Alaska’s News Source, Army officials said the AH-65 Apache helicopters from the 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment were returning to Fort Wainwright from a training flight.
There were two people aboard each helicopter, according to the report.

Two of the soldiers died at the scene of the crash, one died on the way to the hospital, and the fourth is being treated for injuries at Fairbanks Memorial Hospital.
The extent of the surviving soldier’s injuries is unknown.
The crash occurred about 100 miles south of Fort Wainwright near Healy, Alaska.
According to CBS News, Healy is located about 10 miles north of Alaska’s famed Denali National Park and Preserve.

First responders are on the scene. The incident is under investigation and more information about the incident will be released when it becomes available.

“This is an incredible loss for these soldiers’ families, their fellow soldiers, and for the division,” Maj. Gen. Brian Eifler, commanding general of the 11th Airborne Division, said in a statement.
“Our hearts and prayers go out to their families, friends and loved ones, and we are making the full resources of the Army available to support them.”
Names of the crash victims have not been released.
Eifler’s statement said a team from the Army Combat Readiness Center at Fort Novosel, Alabama, will investigate the accident, “and more information about the incident will be released as it becomes available.”
According to Military.com, this crash marks the second deadly training accident for the U.S. military in less than a month, and the second Apache helicopter accident in Alaska this year.
On March 29, nine soldiers were killed when two Black Hawk medical evacuation helicopters collided in midair during another routine training exercise.
That crash occurred 30 miles northeast of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, during a nighttime flight.

Biden’s handlers trotted old Joe out for 12 minutes on Friday to present the Commander-in-Chief’s trophy to the Air Force Falcons.
Joe Biden spent nearly one hour mingling with children on Thursday.
He was salivating over the children and called little girls “baby.”

But he can’t even be bothered with Air Force athletes.
Biden shuffled away after spending 12 minutes with the Air Force Falcons.
This is the same guy who just announced he is running for reelection in 2024 to “finish the job.”

A Los Angeles Police Department officer has lost part of his finger after being bit by a crazed homeless man.
The incident occurred on Thursday at approximately 10:15 a.m. on the Metro Red Line.
An officer on board the train had noticed the man with drug paraphernalia.
When additional officers arrived to remove him from the train, the man became combative and fought with the officers. This resulted in a use-of-force incident, though it is not clear what that was.
During the incident, the homeless man bit off a portion of a police sergeant’s pinky finger.
The officer was transported to a hospital, as was the homeless man — who reportedly had minor injuries.
Doctors confirmed that they would not be able to reattach the officer’s finger.
LAPD Chief Michel Moore said he was “deeply disturbed by this vicious attack.”
“I’m deeply disturbed by this vicious attack,” said Moore. “Fortunately, we have the very best medical professionals doing their best to surgically repair this terrible injury while our people continue their work into the night to protect our transit system.”
The LAPD said in another statement that they have a “zero tolerance” policy for violence on the Metro.
“We take this matter extremely seriously and have zero tolerance for violent acts on the Metro System,” said LAPD in a statement. “We continue to work aggressively to address safety on the transit system and have directed our law enforcement partners to increase their visible presence and to actively enforce penal code violations, including enforcement of our drug-free policy.”
The homeless man has been charged with mayhem and resisting an executive order, but his identity has not been publicly released.
“It can be a little scary here sometimes,” said Dexter Norwood, a witness, according to a report from KTLA. “You just got to make sure you pay attention to your surroundings.”
Kenyson Dove, a Metro security guard, told the station that he was not surprised by the incident.
“I had to take down a guy two weeks ago just like that, smoking on the platform,” said Dove. “We told him he couldn’t smoke down here and he kept on smoking so we had an altercation with the guy.”
The report added, “the guards said they regularly see drugs, weapons, people defecating and some even having sex on the train platforms.”

Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito says he knows who leaked the Dobbs draft to Politico last year.
A draft of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked to Politico’s senior legal reporter Josh Gerstein last May.
Via Politico: “The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.”
Justice Alito’s opinion is a “full-throated, unflinching repudiation” according to Politico.
“Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito wrote. “We hold that Roe and Casey must be overruled. It is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people’s elected representatives.”
“This made us targets of assassination,” Alito said of the draft leak to Politico.
Earlier this year the Supreme Court issued a report on the Dobbs draft leak.
The report says the leaker could not be found and that new protocols for drafts have been put in place.
97 Supreme Court staffers were interviewed and signed sworn affidavits under penalty of perjury denying being the Dobbs draft leaker.
Justice Alito said despite this report, he likely knows who the leaker is.
Alito said the leaker’s motive was to stop the Supreme Court from overturning Roe v Wade.
The Wall Street Journal reported:
Justice Alito says the marshal “did a good job with the resources that were available to her” and agrees that the evidence was insufficient for a public accusation. “I personally have a pretty good idea who is responsible, but that’s different from the level of proof that is needed to name somebody,” he says. He’s certain about the motive: “It was a part of an effort to prevent the Dobbs draft . . . from becoming the decision of the court. And that’s how it was used for those six weeks by people on the outside—as part of the campaign to try to intimidate the court.”
That campaign included unlawful assemblies outside justices’ homes, and that wasn’t the worst of it. “Those of us who were thought to be in the majority, thought to have approved my draft opinion, were really targets of assassination,” Justice Alito says. “It was rational for people to believe that they might be able to stop the decision in Dobbs by killing one of us.” On June 8, an armed man was arrested outside the home of Justice Brett Kavanaugh; the suspect was later charged with attempted assassination and has pleaded not guilty.

According to recently uncovered Federal Election Commission data, the Democratic National Committee / DNC Services Corp made payments totalling $210,000 to a social media talent management agency called Palette Media. Palette Media manages over 60 social media influencers across various platforms including many of the young “activists” with the liberal organization “genzforchange.” This agency also represents two of the largest democratic social media content creators on tiktok, Harry Sisson and Chris Mowrey.

At first sight these accounts may appear to be nothing more than organic political content made by young activists. Together the two accounts have just shy of 900,000 followers and well in excess of 100 million views. On their social media accounts the influencers publicly claim that “the only reason we do this is because we believe in it.”
Upon closer examination however, It looks much more likely that their content is in fact bought and paid for by the DNC via Palette Media.

Recently, a conservative TikToker known as @political_education discovered the suspicious financial relationship while investigating publicly available receipts on the Federal Election Commission website.
The DNC uses creative accounting in an attempt to hide the truth from the public. Rather than sending direct payments to the influencers, they hide the payments by sending them to the talent agency which then “manages” the influencers who just so happen to peddle democrat propaganda.
This has prompted other social media content creators to call out the scheme.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported in April that the Biden Administration was set to bring in a “Army of Influencers,”  but many influencers want to maintain their optics of independence. Viewers often take offense to finding out that creators and not expressing their true opinions, but rather the talking points given to them from politicians. After all that would make the creator nothing more than a shill, a political hack. Perhaps for that reason the DNC is forced to get creative with their accounting to maintain the illusion that young people actually support Biden and his failed administration.
It looks like Joe Biden is such a failure that the DNC has to pay people to support him.

In a recent podcast hosted by former Mesa Co Clerk Tina Peters on Badlands Media, Arizona Congressional candidate Jeff Zink told a personal story about a shocking experience he had while visiting the US-Mexico border in 2021.  The story alleged that an 8 year old girl was found after the husbands of two women with daughters were executed by “coyotes” (Cartel traffickers) during the journey.  Zink implies that one of the orphaned girls was the subject of repeated sexual assaults during the treacherous journey:

The tweet was shared by several large Twitter accounts, including Arizona’s Kari Lake.  With over 5 million views between the corresponding tweets, the story began to pick up some Mockingbird Media attention.  Most notably was an article published yesterday titled “Kari Lake Fuels Murky Claim about Border Girl ‘Raped by 67 Different Men.’”
While the article doesn’t outright deny the story Zink shared, Newsweek states that it was “unable to find verification that such an incident was reported to or recorded by various authorities who would know.”  However, the story has prompted Newsweek to finally address the shocking number of sex crimes women face during the treacherous journey.  A search of previous Newsweek articles regarding sex crimes on the border does not show any articles headlining the dangerous sexual exploitations women and children face.
Newsweek goes on to try and discredit Peters’ and Lake’s statements blaming the Biden administration by saying the events took place in 2021, a month after Biden was inaugurated:
Peters also contributed to misconceptions in the clip. While Zink did not explicitly say during the clip when the incident happened, Peters responded by attacking the “Biden administration,” implying it may have happened recently.
Lake would later also make a reference to Biden. According to Zink, however, the incident took place just over two years ago, around a month after Biden’s inauguration in January 2021.
Newsweek assumes that Peters meant this happened recently, which is disturbingly presumptive.  Regardless still, the alleged event took place during the Biden administration.  PEW Research published a report based on government statistics that shows a sharp increase from almost-20 year record lows in a quick sprint to a 20-year record high in migrant encounters, coinciding directly with Biden’s inauguration.

Was this surge the result of Biden’s lax policies on immigration?  In a March 2021 article, the Washington Post seems to allude to that:

Shortly before Christmas last year, Susan Rice and Jake Sullivan, two top advisers to President-elect Joe Biden, sat for an interview with EFE…to issue a stark warning to migrants considering journeying north to the nation’s southern border: Don’t come now — but help is on the way.

The next day, Biden was similarly pointed, saying his administration — while eager to roll back Donald Trump’s immigration policies — first needed to implement “guardrails” to avoid winding up with “2 million people on our border.”

Less than a month later, the new president began tearing down some of the guardrails himself. He issued five immigration executive orders on Inauguration Day alone and promised an immigration policy far more humane and welcoming than that of his predecessor. His administration also began allowing unaccompanied minors into the country, a marked departure from the Trump administration’s approach.

In Newsweek’s effort to confirm the story, they inquired with ICE, who did not reply.  They also reached out to Customs and Border Protection who said that they’d been “unable to verify the information” and that “if it had occurred, the information you specify would not be shared with CBP.”
Lastly, “Newsweek emailed a spokesman at the Douglas Police Department for comment. The Arizona Department of Public Safety said it was not involved in the matter.”  It is unclear if the Arizona Dept of Public Safety responded on behalf of the Douglas PD or if this was a separate inquiry.
But while Newsweek couldn’t verify the claim, which is admittedly a fair assessment despite the Mockingbird Media’s propensity to publish “anonymous sources” and “leaked documents” with little to no verification, they were forced to publish some astonishing facts and studies regarding the human and sex trafficking during the journey to the US border:
Sexual violence, in particular, ranks among the biggest threats faced. A 2020 report by the humanitarian medical organization and charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF, abbreviated from the French, Médecins Sans Frontières) found 57.3 percent of people they interviewed were exposed to some type of violence, including cases of assault, extortion, sexual assaults, and torture, along the migration route through Mexico.
Another MSF report from 2017 stated that nearly a third of women it surveyed had been sexually abused during their journey; 60 percent of the 166 people it treated for sexual violence had been raped.
Sexual abuse at government-funded detention facilities exists as well. A New York Times report from 2019 discovered more than 4,500 complaints in four years of children experiencing such violence.
Unsurprisingly, all of those studies stem from the Trump administration.  While illegal border crossings have skyrocketed to record highs under the Biden administration, a simple Google (or Brave) search of “Child sex crimes at US Border” yields a plethora of Mockingbird Media articles almost exclusively during the Trump administration.  If you change search parameters to articles after Biden’s inauguration, the Mockingbird Media articles all but disappear.
Perhaps US border sex crimes decrease as the number of migrant encounters increase to the third highest level in almost 100 years.
Or, perhaps it was part of the Mockingbird Media’s vendetta against President Trump, like the TIME Magazine cover of a 2 year old girl crying as an image of President Trump towered over her which fueled the separation of families seeking asylum, even though the father of the young child confirmed the mother and daughter were never separated.

It’s an absolute travesty that it took a viral podcast clip on the (almost) free speech Twitter platform with an Arizona congressional candidate and a former county clerk to finally expose the horrors that are taking place along this journey regarding women and children’s sexual sovereignty.

Like something straight out of the final days of the Roman Empire, a transgender state lawmaker in Minnesota has put forward a bill to scrap language inside of the state’s Human Rights Act which currently reads that sexual orientation protections do not cover “a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.”
The first question is… who is this person’s constituency? In a time where middle and working class families are struggling to pay for gas and groceries, especially those living in the midwest, why on earth is this a priority? Has Minnesota found a way to cure cancer, end crime, and solve all the other important challenges we face today, leaving the conversation of what to do with pedophiles as the last question upon everyone’s mind?
According to a Fox News report, “the bill’s author says nothing in the text would weaken pedophilia laws.”
“The ‘Take Pride Act’ (HF 1655) was introduced earlier this year by state Rep. Leigh Finke, a member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party,” the report states.
I don’t know what type of person would ever take pride in being sexually attracted to children, but if that makes me a bigot by today’s standards, so be it.

What in the Twilight Zone is Going on?
The Minnesota Human Rights Act is, according to Fox, one of the strongest civil rights laws in the union. Alas, it’s not strong enough it seems.
Finke’s bill would remove existing language in the law which currently states “Sexual orientation’ does not include a physical or sexual attachment to children by an adult.”
The Daily Caller describes the situation simply: “Democratic Minnesota state representatives introduced legislation that could end the exclusion of pedophilia from legal protections of sexual orientation in state law.”
Fox News and other outlets who discovered the situation did reach out to Finke’s office for comment on this ludicrous proposal.
According to Finke, the measure “updates outdated language that incorrectly ties pedophilia to a person’s sexual orientation.”
“Nothing in the bill changes or weakens any crimes against children, or the state’s ability to prosecute those who break the law,” said Finke. “Of course, pedophilia is not a sexual orientation. The language never should have been included in the statutory definition in the first place. Crimes against children are located in Minnesota’s criminal statutes, and again, they remain unchanged.”
This twisted work around doesn’t make what Finke is proposing any better, in fact, by Finke’s logic, that change doesn’t need to be made at all. And yet, here we are.
Already the progressive left has attempted to rework the American family and society into their own image. Take your child to a drag show, teach your kid they’re a racist or a victim based off their skin color, send your daughter into a bathroom with a biological man, and don’t forget to wave hello to your neighborhood pedophile as you go to the surgeon to remove your daughter’s breasts so she can live as a man.
How this is not the most universally opposed law in America by both sides of the aisle and the entirety of the media says more about America today than anything else.

Finke also wants to change the legal definition of “sexual orientation” by adding another definition for “gender identity.”
The proposed definition states:
“‘Gender identity’ means a person’s inherent sense of being a man, woman, both, or neither. A person’s gender identity may or may not correspond to their assigned sex at birth or to their primary or secondary sex characteristics. A person’s gender identity is not necessarily visible to others.”
GOP House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth in a statement provided to Fox News stated that “Under the Human Rights Act, the definition of sexual orientation says that sexual orientation does not include physical or sexual attraction to children by an adult — or, more simply described, pedophilia. The Democrats’ decision to strike this language is disturbing and inexplicable.”
She added that “House Republicans will be presenting an amendment today to clarify that pedophilia is absolutely not a protected class under the Human Rights Act. We sincerely hope Democrats will join us in ensuring our children are protected.”

Senator Ted Cruz mocked Biden’s Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm after she voiced support for the military to convert to an all-electric vehicle fleet.
Cruz’s comments came after Granholm told lawmakers during a Senate Armed Services Committee hearing of the administration’s push for the EV military force.
Senator Joni Ernst inquired as to whether the administration supports the military’s adoption of an “EV fleet by 2030.”
“I do, and I think we can get there, as well,” Granholm replied.
“I do think that reducing our reliance on the volatility of globally traded fossil fuels where we know that global events like the war in Ukraine can jack up prices for people back home… does not contribute to energy security,” she added.

Granholm and the Biden Administration Want Military Vehicles to Be Electric
President Biden signed an executive order “further embedding environmental justice” into the mission of federal agencies.
The EO “makes clear that the pursuit of environmental justice is a duty of all executive branch agencies and should be incorporated into their missions.”
All well and good for some government departments. The five branches of the military, however?
There once was a time when it was the military’s job to win wars, not worry about the carbon emissions from their M1 Abrams tank.

Cruz fired off a snarky tweet as he shared the clip of Granholm saying she supports an all-electric vehicle fleet for our fighting men and women.
“It would be really convenient if the Russians and the Chinese communists would erect charging stations every 100 miles for the Biden EV tank,” he quipped.

Is It Intentional?
It’s difficult not to assume that the military trying to rush conversion to an unreliable all-electric fleet as Granholm desires is a blatant effort to ensure we never win another conflict on the world stage.
Remember the Battle of Agincourt? Of course, you do. We’d all sit around the campfire and listen to Grandpa tell stories about the battle that took place in … 1415.
Anyway, the battle, part of the Hundred Years War, is known for the English use of the longbow to defeat the numerically superior French army. The French couldn’t overcome the technology despite their numbers.

Granholm interjecting the Ukraine war as a reason for high gas prices is especially rich.
She outright laughed at the notion the Department of Energy would do anything about skyrocketing gas prices as they were already climbing in 2021 – before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

That prediction, to put it mildly, did not come true. Gas prices are up 20 cents on average from last month across the country.
Must be that Putin’s price hike again, even as Biden took credit for prices at the pump dropping moderately prior to that.

It is human nature to want to be included, feel special, and feel more than just ordinary. But, unfortunately, to be average and typical is often believed to be faceless and milquetoast. 
This desire to be part of the “cool kids” club begins in youth; I’ve even witnessed it in my six-year-old daughter. She laments that kids her age think she’s “weird” because she uses bigger words than them, is interested in a wide range of topics, and instead of zoning out to a tablet, is forced to use her imagination, play with crayons, and, get ready for it… be bored.
I’m not worried about this development, it’s normal, and that is what I told my daughter; it’s good to be a little “weird” if it’s who you indeed are, and it’s always better to be interesting than fall in line with the status quo just to “fit in.”
But a trend spreading across this country has more significant implications than just being part of the “it crowd” or “marching to your own beat.”

Is Anyone Heterosexual Anymore?
A recent Gallup Poll of 10,000 Americans found a whopping 7.2% of U.S. adults identified as LGBT last year, setting a record high. The numbers get even more staggering when you break them out by generation.
For my generation, the Millennials, who were born between 1981 and 1996, 11% identified as LGBT last year.
But of course, it was the upcoming generation, Z, who took the lead, with adults born between 1997 and 2004 identifying as LGBT at the rate of 20%.
To put it into more tangible numbers, essentially, one in five Zoomers identify as either homosexual or transgender.
Last year Bill Maher aptly joked:
“If we follow this trajectory, we will all be gay in 2054.”
Funny, but perhaps not all that untrue. So what could be contributing to this sharp increase in LGBT Americans?
Some argue it’s a combination of a larger acceptance in our society of the LGBT community and that Generation Z is the first generation to grow into adulthood with homosexuals free to marry and serve in the Armed Services openly. Undoubtedly both of those hypotheses hold merit and contribute, but a few out there have a different idea.

Part Of The Club
You can always count on Elon Musk to have a take on just about anything going on in society.
For example, upon the publication of this Gallup Poll, Elon wrote:

Elon isn’t alone in this theory that perhaps the rise in LGBT Americans is less concerned with their sexual preferences and more with wanting to be “cool.”
Bill Maher added to his comment above, stating:
“Yes, part of the rise in LGBT numbers is from people feeling free enough to tell it to a pollster and that’s all to the good, but some of it is – it’s trendy.”
Could impressionable youth and young Americans be hitching their “identities” to the alphabet soup train to feel special and elite? Surely that doesn’t sound right. Who would ever think that young men and women inundated through mainstream media and social media with images portraying one group as victims and unique would want to feel that same sort of attention and adoration?
Being LGBT isn’t the same as obnoxiously ordering avocado toast for breakfast and only taking cashew milk with your overpriced overcomplicated coffee order…is it?
Under Pressure
Peer pressure is an absolute beast, and it doesn’t go away once you graduate high school. Hell, it doesn’t go away when you turn 40. When I was in school in the 90s, I felt the most considerable peer pressure was to drink cheap alcohol, smoke weed, and have sex. 
Nowadays, teenagers and younger face much more extreme pressures. Instead of coming at you just when you are in school, they are inundated with it on their cell phones. Even in the 90s, there were a few gay and lesbian teenagers in my school – so I’m not surprised that there is an uptick in young adults who identify as homosexual.
But the Gallup Poll found that most of Generation Z’s growth was with those who identify as bisexual. If you are unfamiliar, bisexuality is when someone is sexually attracted to both men and women.

This shouldn’t surprise anyone who tracks social media trends. For example, on the ever-popular Gen Z preferred platform, Tik Tok’s hashtag #bisexual has over 20 billion views.
Who wouldn’t want to be identified as bisexual in this social climate? You essentially get to shift your proclivities on a sexuality spectrum bending your personality and desires to whatever is hip at the time. 
Is any of this dangerous or detrimental to civilization? It depends on your worldview, I suppose, but the fact that speaking about this growing trend in any critical tone lands you in cancel culture jail should be raising alarms.
Thought-provoking
The United States isn’t the only country that has taken notice of the increase in alternative sexual identities. For example, England’s National Health Service reported that ten years ago, there were only 250 referrals for youth to be seen at gender clinics.
Now that number is more than 5,000. Some in medical academia are slowly raising an eyebrow at these statistics.
Dr. Lisa Littman, a doctor of obstetrics and gynecology and Assistant Professor at Brown University, coined the term “rapid-onset gender dysphoria” or ROGD to describe young adults who had shown no early issues with their gender but who suddenly exhibited symptoms of gender dysphoria. The good doctor hypothesized this was due to a “social contagion and peer influences.” 
Why does this matter? Because the pressures I felt as a teenager could’ve landed me in trouble with the law and perhaps an early pregnancy and, in the most extreme cases, death. 
Youths succumbing to the transgender peer pressure machine could find themselves mutilated beyond recognition and quite possibly dead.
Journalist Tim Pool posed this question recently:
“I think we should ask ourselves why so many young people desperately want to be someone else instead of themselves.”
To which Elon Musk replied:

Interesting exchange; what are we doing to our kids and young Americans? Are we giving them space to be their most authentic selves, or are we trying to mold them into an image we think is cutting edge and provides them maximum victimhood privilege?
