Senator Josh Hawley called for prosecutions of Democrats and members of Hillary Clinton’s campaign after special counsel John Durham released his long-awaited report indicating the DOJ and FBI used “uncorroborated intelligence” to launch an investigation into suspected ties between Russia and the 2016 presidential campaign of Donald Trump.
Durham’s report, details of which were released on Monday, found that the FBI did not have enough “factual evidence” to investigate allegations of Trump-Russia collusion and revealed that they and the Department of Justice “failed to uphold their mission of strict fidelity to the law.”
Two of the highest-level organizations in the United States of America failed to uphold the law in launching an investigation against a candidate for President that would dog him for years to come and undermine his administration. That was the real coup. That was the real insurrection.
“The speed and manner in which the FBI opened and investigated Crossfire Hurricane during the presidential election season based on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence also reflected a noticeable departure from how it approached prior matters involving possible attempted foreign election inference plans aimed at the Clinton campaign,” the report states.
It later adds, “The FBI had no information in its holding indicating that any time during the campaign anyone in the Trump campaign had been in contact with any Russian intelligence officials.”

Josh Hawley Wants to See Prosecutions Following Durham Report
Hawley (R-MO), who serves on the Senate Judiciary Committee, spoke with Fox News host Jesse Watters Monday evening and suggested the time for talk is over.
“There needs to be a lot more than reports, Jesse. People need to be prosecuted for this,” Hawley said. “The Clinton campaign and Hillary Clinton herself.”
Hawley also called for the FBI as it currently stands to be abolished and rebuilt from the ground up.
“Is it any coincidence that (Clinton) is tweeting about collusion at exactly the same time her campaign operatives are feeding this BS to the FBI?” he asked. “I don’t think so. There needs to be consequences for her and also for the FBI.”

Hawley demanded that justice be served following the Durham report.
“You can’t interfere in a presidential election without consequences … and that’s what happened here.”
“One political party – the Democrats – tried to use the FBI to rig a presidential election and just about got away with it,” Hawley added.
“There needs to be prosecutions. There needs to be accountability. And the FBI has got to be overhauled now, top to bottom,” he continued. “It’s got to be completely reformed, it cannot go on like it is.”

Donald Trump Weighs In
Former President Donald Trump weighed in on the contents of the Durham report and called those involved in the presidential coup attempt “scum.”
“THEY ARE SCUM, LIKE COCKROACHES ALL OVER WASHINGTON, D.C.,” he lashed out on his Truth Social media platform. “Congratulations to John Durham on a Report that is being praised for its quality, importance, and professionalism, by friend and foe alike!”

The FBI also responded to the report by issuing an infuriating statement with a non-apology.
“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time,” they wrote.
“Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in the report could have been prevented.”

That statement alone shows that Hawley is correct – the FBI needs to be abolished in its entirety and replaced. These weren’t missteps, they were designed intentionally to take down a particular presidential candidate and then undermine his entire presidency through false allegations.
Not to mention, they’ve never admitted to mass wrongdoing in 2016 and 2017 and to simply pass off this bombshell report as, ‘Meh, we already took care of it’ is reprehensible.
Nobody in their right mind trusts the FBI, nor should they. And if they think anybody is simply going to take their word that they’ve fixed the mass “bias” problem laid out in the Durham report, they are sadly mistaken.
House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan called for Congress to leverage the budget to force reform at the FBI and DOJ.

Come on, man.
Republicans can’t even leverage the debt ceiling to rein in spending. They can’t leverage the budget to stop inflation-inducing spending. They can’t force audits to stop the current money laundering in Ukraine. But they’re going to finally step in and break up the FBI by withholding money?
“The only way we can hold them accountable is to go at the one thing that everybody cares about: the money,” Jordan said.
Tighten the pursestrings. Demand prosecutions. All that is well and good, but we’ve heard this broken record before. Get back to us, Republicans, when you finally hold somebody accountable for the first time.

Elon Musk recently appeared on CNBC and schooled a reporter who questioned some the things he tweets about.
The reporter accused Musk of sharing conspiracy theories, and Musk reminded him that plenty of so-called conspiracy theories end up being true, such as the Hunter Biden laptop.
Musk also correctly pointed out that the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story was election interference.

Musk said, “Well, yes, but I mean, honestly, you know, some of these conspiracy theories have turned out to be true.”
Faber said, “Which ones?”
Musk said, “Well, like the Hunter Biden laptop.”
Faber said, “That’s true.”
Musk said, “So, you know, that was a pretty big deal. There was Twitter, and others engaged in an act of suppression of information that was relevant to the public. That’s a terrible thing that happened. That’s election interference.”

Conservative journalist Julio Rosas absolutely burned Democrat Rep. Dan Goldman of New York during a hearing on Tuesday.
Rosas covered the BLM/Antifa riots of 2020 up close and personal for Townhall. He has witnessed the violence of Antifa at other events as well.
Dan Goldman mocked Rosas and scoffed at the idea of taking his testimony seriously. When Rosas responded, it was pure fire.
Rosas even pointed out Goldman’s questionable stock trades.

In all his ranting and downplaying of Rosas’ background, Goldman forgot to mention that Rosas is also a U.S. Marine. That would seem sort of relevant to his work experience, especially when speaking to his credibility and ability to cover dangerous, left-wing riots (which he’s done admirably and fairly). That was the first clown move by Goldman.
The second clown move was using a quote from Christopher Wray to claim that Antifa only exists as an “ideology.” What Goldman didn’t mention is that his quote is nearly three years old. Wray did claim that Antifa is only an ideology in one of the dumbest pieces of testimony he’s offered before Congress.
What he also did, and what Goldman ignored, is that Wray corrected his error in 2021, admitting that Antifa exists as a series of regional organizations and nodes. In other words, the idea that Antifa only exists as a nebulous ideology is not only false, Goldman’s own source has said it’s false.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris on Tuesday afternoon delivered remarks at a celebration of Jewish American Heritage Month in the East Room of the White House.
Biden was late to the event so Dr. Jill had to entertain the guests.
Joe Biden trashed Republicans and even insulted the chef by calling him “Michelle.”
“I also wanna thank our special guest — uh, Michelle — who’s sure that, uh, today is both a delicious and glatt kosher. Where, I don’t know where the chef is. There you are! Well stand up, man,” Biden said.
The chef’s name is Michael Solomonov, not Michelle.
“The White House recruited James Beard-winning chef Michael Solomonov, who specializes in Israeli cuisine, to design the menu for Tuesday’s celebration.” the AP reported.
What a disgrace.
Biden is totally unfit for office.

Anheuser-Busch is desperate to get past their Dylan Mulvaney controversy. Memorial Day is soming and with it, the summer beer-drinking season. Their sales are still crashing across the country.
Their latest attempt to court back the customers they insulted is a line of bottles featuring a camouflage design.
Unfortunately for them, this is probably not going to make much of a difference. In fact, it looks like pandering.

Anheuser-Busch plans to temporarily redesign some of its Bud Light and Budweiser packaging as it scrambles to recover from the Dylan Mulvaney fiasco, The Post has learned.
Last week, the company held a meeting at its US headquarters in St. Louis with distributors to discuss its strategy for dealing with the backlash, according to sources briefed on the situation.
Among the new initiatives planned is a temporary redesign of its Budweiser and Bud Light aluminum bottles, according to a distributor who did not want to be identified.
Anheuser-Busch will produce bottles with a camouflage print and images of the “Folds of Honor” program, which provides educational scholarships for children and spouses of fallen and disabled American military service members and first responders, according to the executive.
“It’s an aluminum bottle,” the source told The Post, asking not to be named. “I believe it is the only package that will be transitioning, but I am not 100% certain on that.”
Yuengling Beer already did this and it worked because it didn’t look like they were just trying to recover from a bad marketing decision.

As the Gateway Pundit previously reported, Miller Lite is encountering major backlash for releasing a vulgar feminist ad back in March that resurfaced online Monday.
But instead of apologizing for the commercial, they are giving the middle finger to their critics.
Miller Lite is basically begging to go broke just like Bud Light after they featured trans personality Dylan Mulvaney on their cans. Miller Lite’s sales were previously surging at Bud Light’s expense before this woke marketing stunt emerged.
The online commercial opens with actress Ilana Glazer claiming that women were the first to ever brew beer. She then whines that women were “repaid” for their innovation by being “put in bikinis” by the beer companies.

Glazer goes on a vulgar rant befitting of Quentin Tarantino or Martin Scorcese film, not a commercial.
It’s time beer made it up to women. So today, Miller Lite is on a mission to clean up not just their s**t, but the whole beer industry’s s**t. Miller Lite has been scouring the internet for all this s*** and buying it back so that we can turn it into good s*** for women brewers.
The video cuts to other females cursing like sailors talking about how they turn the bikini posters into compost by shredding them and feeding the mulch to worms. The worms then poop out waste turned into fertilizer. Women then use it to make beer ingredients.
Miller Lite company spokesperson released a statement to the Daily Wire doubling down on the nasty ad and basically claiming critics are just too dumb to see the “humor” in the ad.
This video was about two things: worm poop and saying women shouldn’t be forced to mud wrestle in order to sell beer “Neither of these things should be remotely controversial and we hope beer drinkers can appreciate the humor (and ridiculousness) of this video from back in March.
The company refusing to atone should not come as a surprise. It turns out that made a huge donation to a woke organization back in March.
Miller gave $60,000 to the Pink Boots Society ostensibly to “support women in advancing their careers through brewing education.”
On its website, the Pink Boots Society says it is made up of “women and non-binary individuals” in the alcoholic beverage industry. Notice the woke pro-trans terms in parentheses.
Time will tell whether Miller Lite suffers the same fate as Bud Light. But they will have only themselves to blame because of their woke arrogance.

Russia claimed it destroyed a US-made Patriot missile defense system worth about $1.1 billion during a massive overnight missile attack on Kyiv Monday night, CNN reported.
Recall, on December 21, as part of President Zelenskyy’s visit to the White House, the Biden regime announced $1.85 billion in additional security assistance for Ukraine. This includes the authorization of a Presidential Drawdown of security assistance valued at up to $1 billion – the Patriot missile battery.
The Patriot missile battery is a unique system designed to intercept incoming missiles and was delivered just last month to Ukraine by the US and its NATO allies.
Russia bombarded Ukraine with the Kinzhal hypersonic missile, an air-launched ballistic missile that’s 10 times the speed of sound.
It claimed it had obliterated the air defense system. The Russian Defense Ministry said through Telegram that “a high-precision strike by the Kinzhal hypersonic missile system in the city of Kyiv hit a US-made Patriot anti-aircraft missile system.”
However, US officials refuted the claim and told CNN that it was likely damaged but not destroyed.
CNN reported:

A US-made Patriot air defense system was likely damaged, but not destroyed, as the result of a Russian missile barrage in and around Kyiv early Tuesday morning local time, a US official tells CNN.
The US is still assessing to what degree the system was damaged, the official said. That will determine whether the system needs to be pulled back entirely or simply repaired on the spot by Ukrainians forces.
A US National Security Council spokesperson referred CNN to the Ukrainian government for comment.
Ukrainian officials said on Tuesday that they successfully intercepted all six hypersonic missiles fired by the Russians, but the Ukrainian military declined to comment on the Russians’ claim that a Patriot system was hit. “We cannot comment on this. We’ll stay out of commenting on Russian sources,” said the Ukrainian Air Force spokesman, Yurii Ihnat.
Ukraine currently has two Patriot air defense systems in country, one donated by the US and the other donated jointly by Germany and the Netherlands. It is unclear which of those systems was potentially damaged, but taking one out of commission – even for a short period – could affect Ukraine’s ability to defend Kyiv amid intensifying Russian missile attacks.
