They Always Show Us Who They Are: Debbie Wasserman Schulz Is Afraid Her Vegetables Will Rot in the Fields Because Ron DeSantis Blocked Corporations from Hiring Illegals (VIDEO)

They always show us who they are.
Former DNC Chair and Democrat party leader Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is very upset that Governor DeSantis blocked Corporations from bringing illegal aliens to Florida.  Debbie is afraid her vegetables will be spoiled.
And you never know when a hot Pakistani might drop by?
Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz: Arizona did the same to their immigrants in their state. He’s going to devastate our economy, tourism, construction, agriculture. I mean, you’re going to have vegetables rotting in the fields. You’re going to have construction sites that will lie dormant or certainly will struggle to get workers to be able to help make sure that they can make progress. The tourism is that tourism and restaurant industry in particular rely on these workers.

“Thank God for You and Thank God for Alicia Powe for Doing the Work” – Steve Bannon Highlights TGP’s Explosive Report and Exclusive Video on Jan. 6 Police Violence (VIDEO)

When the police started shooting people in the face and throwing flash grenades at the unarmed crowd, everything changed on January 6.
The government opened fire escalating the protest. Only one side was armed using deadly force: The police.
The crowd became livid as they watched cops shooting deadly rubber bullets, tear gas, and flash bangs or “sting balls” at civilians, often aimed at their heads.
Footage obtained by The Gateway Pundit and posted by Alicia Powe showcased the unjustified use of deadly force employed by law enforcement against demonstrators protesting the stolen election.

Police shot unsuspecting Trump supporters in the face and back without warning on January 6.
New footage released by Gateway Pundit exposes how police started firing on the peaceful crowd WITHOUT WARNING.

The footage was first posted on The Gateway Pundit this morning. Alicia Powe worked with J6 Attorney Steven Metcalf to post this video for the first time.
The Democrats, Liz Cheney, Nancy Pelosi, and their corrupt media have never revealed this footage to the American public.

Steve Bannon: I’ve got to bounce, but I’ve got to get this out. Alicia Powe is amazing. And more great work from Alicia Powe over at Gateway and with the lawyer. Here’s my question, Jim, “As great as Gateway Punted is, and you guys do a great job, this footage is over there with McCarthy. Now that Tucker has been fired why are the Republicans… Why are we not seeing this in some sort of formal, and I love the fact we got it from Gateway to get it out, but why isn’t there some formal process to start putting out the true story and see the true footage? The footage speaks for itself, sir.
Jim Hoft: Oh, absolutely. There should be something that takes place with Congress. They have control. We have 42 people who are January 6 prisoners or are family members who signed a letter that we sent to Speaker Kevin McCarthy. They would like to see the footage that he is holding because they have loved ones who are going to trial, and they’d like to defend their family members and themselves. A lot of these people are January 6 defendants. So something needs to happen. You’re right. Congress – should have their own trial. We saw the show trial. Now we should have the real trial. And pull in some people who could really testify and tell the truth to the American public. Thank God for the War Room. Thank God for Gateway Pundit and others. We continue to expose the truth, and it does go viral.
Steve Bannon: Jim, thank God for you and thank God for Alicia Powe for doing this work.

JUST IN: Idaho Quadruple Murder Suspect Bryan Kohberger Indicted by Secret Grand Jury

    Bryan Kohberger enters Idaho courtroom
Quadruple murders suspect Bryan Kohberger has been indicted by a secret grand jury.
A preliminary hearing for this case that was scheduled for next month will no longer take place.
Kohberger is expected to appear in court for his arraignment on murder charges next Monday.
The indictment is still under seal.
    NBC News reported:
An Idaho grand jury has indicted the man suspected in the slayings of four college students in November, paving the way for an arraignment on murder charges.
A preliminary hearing in the case against Bryan Kohberger, 28, was originally scheduled for next month, following his arrest in December on four counts of first-degree murder and burglary for allegedly breaking into a Moscow, Idaho, home with the intent to commit a felony.
But the prosecutors’ decision to impanel a grand jury, which was not anticipated, allows the state to avoid the weeklong preliminary hearing that would have required it to present evidence before a judge, as well as permit the defense counsel to cross-examine witnesses.
An Idaho Supreme Court spokesperson on Wednesday confirmed the grand jury indictment. Neither prosecutors nor Kohberger’s public defender could immediately be reached for comment.
Bryan Kohberger, 28, is accused of fatally stabbing 20-year-old Ethan Chapin of Conway, Washington; 21-year-old Madison Mogen of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 20-year-old Xana Kernodle of Avondale, Arizona; and 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves of Rathdrum, Idaho on November 13.

Murder victims from left: Kaylee Goncalves, Ethan Chapin, Xana Kernodle, Maddie Mogen
According to the court documents, Kohberger’s DNA was found on a tan leather knife sheath left behind on Maddie Mogen’s bed on the 3rd floor at the King Road Residence.
“The sheath was later processed and had ‘Ka-Bar’ ‘USMC’ and the United States Marine Corps eagle globe and anchor insignia stamped on the outside of it,” Idaho police officer Brett Payne wrote in the 19-page affidavit. “The Idaho state lab later located a single source of male DNA (suspect Profile) left on the button snap of the knife sheath.”
Pennsylvania unsealed search warrants that revealed a number of items seized by law enforcement from Bryan Kohberger’s parents’ home during a December 30 raid.
Authorities seized black gloves, a Glock, a knife (possibly the murder weapon?), black face masks, ‘green leafy substance’ in a plastic bag and other items.
Police also seized parts of Bryan Kohberger’s white Hyundai Elantra.

    CNN’s death spiral continues.
Forbes reports that CNN has now dropped into fourth place behind Newsmax in prime time viewership ratings.
Only President Trump has been able to offer the liberal news outlet a brief bump in the ratings. The network drew more than 3 million people for Trump’s town hall last week, far above anything CNN has been attracting lately in the 8 p.m. time slot.
Without Trump, the downward spiral continues.
    Forbes reports:

  • FBI’s Response to Durham Report Proves Trump, Critics Were Right

FBI’s Response to Durham Report Proves Trump, Critics Were Right

The long-awaited Durham Report has dropped, and just as roughly 75 million Americans expected, the FBI executed a politically motivated investigation against the former President of the United States at the behest of his political rival.
This scenario sounds more like something that would occur in a third-world country than the “freest” nation in the world.
In typical fashion, the strongarm of this political prosecution has issued a mealy-mouthed statement abdicating any actual culpability and daring to say we should all be thankful they exist in the first place. So the Federal Bureau of Investigation strikes again, proving that they can’t be trusted and telling us to trust them anyway.
Before we dig in, this is their response:

Statement on Report by Special Counsel John Durhamhttps://t.co/lcow0ea3mG pic.twitter.com/T4vXqoOMrp
    — FBI (@FBI) May 15, 2023

    Not Working For You
The over 300-page Durham Report extensively laid out all the ways in which the Russia collusion allegations against former President Donald Trump were perpetuated on faulty at best and blatant manufactured tips at worst. But my favorite nuggets focus exclusively on the FBI.
The report, in no uncertain terms, said that the FBI’s investigation:
“failed to uphold their important mission of strict fidelity to the law.”
My that is scathing; our government’s premier law enforcement arm didn’t adhere to their own standards in what was sold as the most critical investigation of our time, against the leader of the free world.
The report goes on to say that FBI employees:
“displayed a serious lack of analytical rigor toward the information they received, especially information received from politically affiliated persons and entities.”
RELATED: GOP Sen. Hawley Demands Prosecution of Democrats, Hillary Clinton After Durham Report Reveals FBI Used False Intelligence to Launch Trump-Russia Probe
This statement is a tame way of saying that the FBI was too inept to execute an investigation of this magnitude. However, most of us would argue this “lack of rigor” was intentional.
The pièce de résistance comes next:
“Neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation.”
So not only did the FBI waste taxpayer dollars and man-hours on a political witch hunt, they did so at the behest of the subject’s political opponents. So, what say you, FBI?

    1. How many things in American government and politics have changed over the last seven years because of the FBI’s treasonous actions, as outlined in the Durham report? pic.twitter.com/j66ufgtp0r
    — Mike Lee (@BasedMikeLee) May 16, 2023

    Whatever, We Don’t Care
The FBI’s statement, as seen above, was equal parts insulting as it was bold.
    It begins:
“The conduct in 2016 and 2017 that Special Counsel Durham examined was the reason that current FBI leadership already implemented dozens of corrective actions, which have now been in place for some time.”
Essentially the FBI opens up by saying yeah, we know we got caught weaponizing our institution, we’ve made some adjustments, and you should ignore this silly report.
    They continue:
“Had those reforms been in place in 2016, the missteps identified in this report could have been prevented.”
RELATED: Report: Former CIA Director John Brennan Admits the Hunter Biden ‘Russian Disinformation’ Letter Was ‘All Political’
I wonder if that statement is a sufficient apology for Donald Trump and his staff, who were harassed and had their lives and reputation dragged through the mud over false allegations shoddily investigated by the most powerful law enforcement agency in the country.
And here is my favorite part:
“This report reinforces the importance of ensuring the FBI continues to do its work with rigor, objectivity, and professionalism the American people deserve and rightly expect.”
To me, this reads like the FBI telling me that a report detailing their lack of judgment, slapdash investigation, and political bias should justify their existence. Now that is rich.

My plan to shut down the FBI is grounded in pragmatism: just as local prosecutors don’t require a separate intermediary agency in order to work with local police, neither should the DOJ require a separate FBI to work with U.S. Marshals. My debate with @chucktodd happened before… pic.twitter.com/CIbn9hIPCz
    — Vivek Ramaswamy (@VivekGRamaswamy) May 16, 2023

    Unified Response
Understandably those on the right, particularly ones running for President or flirting with the idea of running, issued statements of outrage.
    Florida Governor Ron DeSantis wrote:
“It reminds us of the need to clean house at these agencies, as they’ve never been held accountable for this egregious abuse of power.”
Dark horse candidate Vivek Ramaswamy told Fox News:
“The next President needs to shut down the FBI. This is a corrupt institution that has repeatedly revealed itself to be politicized.”
RELATED: Elon Musk Tells Tucker Carlson the US Government Had ‘Full Access’ to Americans’ Twitter Accounts, Private Messages
And this morning, Nikki Haley added to the mix:
“The Durham Report is damning evidence of the rot in our government. No party, no politician should weaponize government to go after political opponents. There must be consequences, or this will never end.”
All valid points, but the hope that anything will come from this report, I fear, is futile. The FBI has continually proved they can’t be trusted throughout history – first in persecuting those on the left and now on their mobilized attacks on those on the right.
And we can’t forget about the subject target of the phony investigation. He was uncharacteristically laconic in his reply:

    No accountability, plenty of consequences
Congressman Matt Gaetz had the best response to the report so far:
“This report is an insufficient consequence for the malfeasance and corruption that we have seen here. It was an operation from beginning to end to fuse political opposition research from the DNC and the Clinton campaign with this intelligence process and criminal process.”
Mr. Gaetz goes on his statement to rightly claim that if this sort of action had happened at the behest of Republicans, there would’ve been indictments. However, Mr. Durham does point out that the efforts of the FBI have had negative repercussions:
“As the more complete record now shows, there are specific areas of Crossfire Hurricane activity in which the FBI badly underperformed and failed, not only in its duties to the public, but also in preventing the severe reputational harm that has befallen the FBI as a consequence of Crossfire Hurricane.”

The Durham report is an absolutely DAMNING treatise on the weaponization of the FBI against President Trump.
This should be a clarion call for legislative reform. We need to defund and deauthorize government entities that are converted from the just cause of defending our nation… pic.twitter.com/peaeMcVr6q
    — Rep. Matt Gaetz (@RepMattGaetz) May 16, 2023

The truth is the FBI meddled in an election, helped weaken our ability to engage effectively with our international partners, including Ukraine and our adversary Russia, and destroyed the lives of Americans – not just Donald Trump. So while the FBI tells you not to worry, they fixed everything, and that you need them, just remember – if they can do this to a man like Donald Trump – they can do it to you.

Honest liberals are learning today what many of us have long known: RussiaGate was a 100% fabricated hoax. Remember they used RussiaGate to prevent Trump from pursuing a peaceful resolution to the Ukraine conflict. Tens of thousands are dead, Ukraine ruined because of that lie.

  • Americans’ Views of Housing Market Worse Than After 2008 Market Crash

Americans’ views of the housing market have plunged as interest rates continue to rise because of government-fueled inflation.
Gallup released new polling data showing that only 21% of Americans say now is a good time to buy a house, down 9 percentage points from the previous year. This year and last year during the Biden administration are the only times that fewer than half of Americans said it was a good time to buy a house since Gallup began asking in 1978.
RELATED: California Could Pay Unemployment to Illegal Aliens
Even during the housing market crash of 2008, numbers did not drop nearly as low as they are in this latest survey.
“Gallup first asked Americans about their perceptions of the housing market in 1978, when 53% thought it was a good time to buy a house,” the group said. “Thirteen years later, when the question was asked again, 67% held that view. The record high of 81% was recorded in 2003, at a time of growing homeownership rates and housing prices.”
The change in perspective comes as the Federal Reserve has hiked interest rates nearly a dozen times during the Biden administration, making borrowing money to buy a home far more expensive.
The problem is further complicated by the fact that millions of Americans currently have mortgages with an interest rate below 3%, pushing many to decide now is not the time to sell their house and lose that lower rate.
“In the past two years, as housing prices have soared and the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates to try to tame inflation, houses have become less affordable for many Americans, and views of the housing market have tumbled,” Gallup said.
The higher inflation rates are driven in large part by a surge in the money supply and federal debt spending to the tune of several trillion dollars in recent years.
The federal government also recently enacted controversial policies to punish home buyers with good credit and help those with poor credit, akin to policies enacted ahead of the 2008 financial crisis, fueling fears first sparked by several bank collapses earlier this year.
All these factors have helped to contribute to Americans’ banking fears hitting the worst point since the 2008 financial crisis. Gallup released the survey data earlier this month, which showed that 19% are “very” worried about the safety of their funds in banks and another 29% are “moderately” worried.
RELATED: Reparations 2.0: White-Owned Businesses Pay Extra Taxes to Minority-Owned Businesses
The survey shows nearly half of Americans are concerned about the safety of their money in banks, a figure that is reminiscent of the 2008 financial crisis.
“The latest readings are similar to those in 2008,” Gallup said. “In September of that year, shortly after the collapse of Lehman Brothers, which remains the largest bankruptcy filing in U.S. history, 45% of U.S. adults said they were very or moderately worried about the safety of their money. Several months later, in December, after Congress’ Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP) bailed out other banks in danger of failing, Americans were slightly less concerned about the safety of their personal financial accounts, as 41% said they were very or moderately worried.”

  • ‘Clearly Retaliatory’: IRS Removes Entire Investigative Team Working on Hunter Biden Case After Whistleblower Calls Out Coverup

The IRS reportedly removed the “entire investigative team” from the years-long tax fraud investigation into Hunter Biden after a whistleblower made allegations of a coverup in the case, according to the whistleblower’s legal team.
The New York Post reports that the whistleblower’s attorneys informed congressional leaders of the move in a letter. They described the action as “clearly retaliatory.”
“Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress,” the letter reads.
The attorneys claim the change was made at the behest of the Department of Justice.
“This move is clearly retaliatory and may also constitute obstruction of a congressional inquiry,” the lawyers contend.

IRS Team Investigating Hunter Biden Removed
The presence of a whistleblower was revealed last month when a lawyer for the unnamed IRS official sent a letter to congressional committee members indicating he was seeking to expose “preferential treatment” and false testimony to Congress by a “senior political appointee.”
The letter claims the informant has evidence that the IRS engaged in “preferential treatment and politics” in the handling of the Hunter Biden tax fraud investigation, as well as a “failure to mitigate clear conflicts of interest in the ultimate disposition of the case.”
Now, the whistleblower’s team is demanding congressional action.
“We respectfully request that you give this matter your prompt attention,” they write. “Removing the experienced investigators who have worked this case for years and are now the subject-matter experts is exactly the sort of issue our client intended to blow the whistle on to begin with.”
Reports indicate the probe into Hunter Biden’s “tax affairs” by the Justice Department began in 2018, a year before Joe Biden announced his campaign for the presidency. It is now 2023.
That ridiculous length of time immediately calls into question the integrity, if not the incompetence, if not the malicious and willful intent to suppress information, by the IRS, the DOJ, and the mainstream media in America.
Where are the leaks of the ongoing investigation that would become a daily occurrence if it were Donald Trump or one of Trump’s kids being investigated?

The fact that the request to axe the “entire investigative team” allegedly came from the DOJ reeks of even further corruption at that department.
The same IRS whistleblower had accused a “senior Biden official” of lying to Congress about a criminal investigation into the President’s son. That official is reportedly Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Garland, according to the New York Post, is the man whose “sworn testimony to Congress is being challenged.”

That is perjury, which is a crime punishable by up to five years in jail. https://t.co/W2smbQNDCZ

Garland testified on multiple occasions before Congress that there would be no interference by the administration in the handling of the Hunter Biden investigation.
During an Appropriations Committee hearing roughly one year ago, Garland told Senator Bill Hagerty that “there will not be interference of any political or improper kind” in the investigation of Hunter Biden.
The whistleblower contends they have proof of interference and that the President’s son is actually being protected by federal bureaucrats.
Giving false testimony to Congress is a crime that can be punishable by up to five years in prison, though the lie has to be proven as being intentional. And the DOJ has to prosecute and convict, of course.

  • Ex-DOJ Official And Wife Had Bigger Roles In Steele Dossier Than Known: Durham Report

    By Paul Sperry for RealClearWire
While it’s bad enough the debunked dossier the FBI used to spy on the Trump campaign was paid for by the Clinton campaign and authored by a foreign FBI informant and his carousing researcher, the newly released report of Special Counsel John Durham strongly suggests a top Justice Department official and his wife had an early hand in shaping the political rumor sheet.
According to the 306-page report, former Justice Department prosecutor Bruce Ohr’s wife Nellie Ohr first plowed the ground for the dossier with a series of research reports she wrote for Fusion GPS, the D.C.-based opposition research firm the Clinton campaign commissioned to dig up dirt on Trump and Russia.
Obtained by Durham, her reports zeroed in on Sergei Millian and his connections to Russia and Trump, falsely portraying him as a key intermediary between the Kremlin and the Republican candidate. They would later provide the foundation for the dossier’s many fictions.
“Fusion GPS records demonstrate that Nellie Ohr first identified Millian,” Durham states in his report. “All told, Ohr prepared at least 12 reports that discussed Sergei Millian.”
She wrote her first Millian report in April 2016, the month before Fusion GPS hired former British intelligence officer Christopher Steele to put his imprimatur as a supposed former “spy” and “Russian insider” on the dossier.
“This report was prepared just ten days after Fusion GPS was retained by [Clinton campaign law firm] Perkins Coie to conduct opposition research on Trump,” the Durham Report states, “and prior to Steele being retained by Fusion GPS.”
Durham suggests Nellie Ohr planted the seeds of sourcing for the most explosive allegations leveled by the dossier against Trump, including the oft-cited notion that he and his campaign were engaged in a “well-developed conspiracy of cooperation” with the Kremlin. The dossier attributed this, falsely, to Millian. Durham found that the Belarusian-American realtor was never a source for the dossier and was simply invented as one, along with the allegations attributed to him.
In fact, Durham says that Millian initially wasn’t even on the radar of Steele and his dossier “collector” Igor Danchenko, a former Brookings Institution analyst who’s admitted much of the information he provided Steele was alcohol-lubricated gossip. Millian was called to their attention by Nellie Ohr, who the prosecutor said “implicated” Millian through her own reports. Durham suggests Steele and Danchenko merely followed her leads.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor added, Bruce Ohr, an anti-Trump Democrat, pushed his wife’s reports that cited Millian — 12 in all — onto the Crossfire Hurricane team at FBI headquarters that was investigating Trump and his campaign for possible espionage. Agents used her reports as a source of corroboration for the Steele reports they received in the summer and fall of 2016, even though it was circular reporting.
“The reports prepared by Ohr and others at Fusion GPS were ultimately provided to Crossfire Hurricane investigators by Ohr’s husband, Bruce Ohr,” according to the Durham Report.
Related: GOP Sen. Hawley Demands Prosecution of Democrats, Hillary Clinton After Durham Report Reveals FBI Used False Intelligence to Launch Trump-Russia Probe
Durham notes that Danchenko was tracking leads on Millian from Nellie Ohr within “approximately one week” of Fusion GPS retaining Steele to compile the dossier. He concludes that this “strongly supports the inference that Fusion GPS directed Steele to pursue Millian.”
In other words, Steele was not the catalyst behind the dossier’s central claims. Rather, it was Clinton’s contractor Fusion GPS — but more specifically, the wife of a senior DOJ official who worked for Fusion. So the FBI wasn’t really investigating “Crown reporting,” as officials referred to Steele’s dossier, implying it was British intelligence. More accurately, it was investigating information from inside its own department that was laundered through Steele and his dossier.
On page 97 of their book, “Crime in Progress,” Fusion GPS co-founders Glenn Simpson and Peter Fritsch maintained that it was Steele who identified Millian as “one of the key intermediaries between Trump and the Russians.” Durham’s report shatters their claim.
The special counsel also found that Simpson worked with Bruce Ohr to pressure the FBI to investigate the dossier allegations.
On Aug. 22, 2016, Simpson asked Ohr to call him. About an hour later, Ohr emailed the FBI agent handling Steele as an informant to, as he said, “check in.” Ohr and the agent, Michael Gaeta, spoke over the phone on Aug. 24. During their call, Ohr inquired if the FBI was going to do anything with the dossier reports that Steele had passed along to Gaeta in July. In response, Gaeta “told Ohr that a group at FBI headquarters was working on them,” according to the Durham report. This undercuts the official FBI timeline of when HQ first received the dossier. For years, the bureau has insisted it did not receive the reports until a month later — Sept. 19, 2016.
The Ohrs also appear to have directly influenced the dossier and the FBI’s investigation. Both Bruce and Nellie Ohr, who previously worked for the CIA, met with Steele in Washington at a critical time. Emails reveal that on July 30, 2016 — the day before the FBI formally opened its overarching case against Trump, codenamed “Crossfire Hurricane” — the couple sat down with Steele and an unidentified “associate” of his at the Mayflower Hotel in D.C. to compare notes — Nellie and Steele literally passed pieces of papers back and forth — regarding their research into “suspicions that Russian government figures were supporting the candidacy of Donald Trump.” After their breakfast, Bruce Ohr reportedly contacted then-deputy FBI director Andrew McCabe to relay their concerns.
Fusion GPS also pitched the press the false narrative that Millian was a key intermediary between Trump and Russia. For example, on June 27, 2016, Fritsch sent an email to Franklin Foer, a reporter at Slate magazine, stating “this dude is key” and claiming “he is clearly kgb.”
The next month, Simpson reached out to ABC News producer Matthew Mosk about Millian. Mosk emailed Simpson and reported back that he was “making arrangements to interview Millian on camera” and that he and Simpson “should chat.” On July 29, 2016, Millian ultimately was interviewed by Brian Ross, formerly of ABC News, who asked Millian whether he was a Russian spy.
On Sept. 13, 2016, Mosk emailed Simpson and asked, “What’s the most official thing we have showing Millian tied to Trump? That would make it hard for the Trump org to disavow Millian?”
Ross later left ABC after being suspended for erroneous reporting on Russiagate, while Mosk has moved to CBS News.
Throughout the summer and fall of 2016, Fusion GPS also promoted to the Washington media the false allegation the Trump campaign maintained a secret hotline to Moscow through Russia-based Alfa Bank. In an attempt to tie Millian to the Alfa Bank allegations, Durham found that Fusion GPS sought the assistance of Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who in turn contacted D.C. tech executive Rodney Joffe to determine if Millian had any ties to Alfa Bank.

On Aug. 20, 2016, Joffe emailed federal computer contractors at Georgia Tech a document titled “birdsnest-1.pdf’ that contained “known associates” of Trump. Included in the attached document was a description of Millian along with his past mailing addresses; various email addresses; websites; and IP addresses that were associated with him. Joffe, who was recently fired as an FBI informant, described Millian as “the most likely intermediary” between Trump and Russia.
On Sept. 27, 2016, Simpson and Fritsch emailed IP “look-up” information for one of Millian’s websites to then-New York Times reporter Eric Lichtblau, whom Fusion was pressuring to write a story about the Trump-Alfa Bank allegations. In the email, Fritsch pointed out that “Alfa” was the website service provider for Millian’s website. However, Durham determined that the relevant IP information did not indicate that “Alfa Bank” was the service provider, but rather Alfa Telecom — a Lebanese-based telecom company, which appears to have no affiliation with Alfa Bank.
Fusion GPS and Steele also provided the substance of the Alfa Bank allegations to Bruce Ohr, the DOJ official, who passed the false tip on to the FBI. The Crossfire Hurricane team used Ohr as a conduit to continue to receive information from Steele about Trump throughout 2017, even after the FBI had to terminate Steele as an informant for leaking information about its investigation to the media.

CNN’s Prime Time Ratings Absolutely Tank After Trump Town Hall, Now 4th Behind Newsmax

Our friends over at Newsmax are having a day for the ages.
CNN’s prime time ratings plunged dramatically in the days following their town hall forum with former President Donald Trump. On Friday the network came in fourth behind Fox News, MSNBC, and Newsmax – a banner moment for the conservative outlet.
CNN enjoyed a massive ratings bump from Trump’s presence last week, earning 3.3 million viewers in the 8 pm slot on Wednesday, more than doubling the next closest network.
The numbers were even more impressive in the key 25-54 age demographic coveted by advertisers.
By Friday however, reality smacked them square in the face.
CNN’s prime time viewership just two days later sat at an average of 335,000 viewers, well behind Fox News (1.44 million), MSNBC (1.08 million), and just behind Newsmax (357,000).

Trump Celebrated CNN’s Ratings After His Town Hall
After news of CNN’s massive ratings came out for the town hall, GOP frontrunner Donald Trump celebrated and claimed many minds “were changed.”
“People are criticizing CNN for giving me a forum to tell the TRUTH,” he wrote on his Truth Social media platform. “I believe it was a very smart thing that they did, with sky-high ratings that they haven’t seen in a very long time.
“It was by far the biggest show of the night, the week, and the month!”

The Trump bump was extremely short-lived. If any minds were changed, they were looking for a different channel.
After 8 pm, CNN didn’t have a single show eclipse the 300,000 viewer mark. Every show between 8 pm and 11 pm had lower total viewership than each show over at Newsmax. Only by 11 pm did their program “CNN Tonight” finally best Newsmax’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”

Chris Wallace’s Numbers Are Nearly Imperceptible
You may have forgotten that Chris Wallace is still employed by CNN. Even further, you may have forgotten he still has a show. On the Friday following the Trump town hall, so did everybody else.
Ratings from the show “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace?” beg the more important question: “Who’s Even Watching Chris Wallace?”
The program saw just 263,000 total viewers, behind “Greg Kelly Reports” (278,000) and barely more than what Greg Gutfeld is drawing in the 25-54 age demographic alone an hour later (228,000).
That number is a significant drop for Wallace from the previous week (320,000) and two weeks prior (351,000). A pitiful trend.

“On Friday night, Newsmax beat CNN in primetime.

Chris Wallace must certainly be rethinking his career move to CNN. Seems as if nobody on either side of the political aisle finds him interesting.

His current show is a debacle. His previous effort – where he was looked at as the face of the streaming service CNN+ – suffered an even more embarrassing run, as the network announced it would be shuttered just one month after its launch.
Wallace, who reportedly was lured away from Fox News with a $9 million annual contract, put on a brave face after CNN+ crashed and burned, claiming he had no regrets and that he was “going to be fine.”
“I’m in good shape whether it’s CNN or someplace else,” he said last April.
That might be true money-wise, but his career is an utter disaster at this point. Maybe CNN should think about hiring Trump to do a once-weekly show on the network in Wallace’s slot.

Georgia Subsidized Electric Vehicle Company Rivian With $1.5 Billion

When electric vehicle manufacturer Rivian announced a new factory was coming to Georgia in December 2021, Georgia state officials rushed to offer the auto maker $1.5 billion in tax credits and subsidies. Now, Rivian is struggling and taxpayers are left with the bill, according to Reason Magazine.

Rivian wooed Georgia lawmakers with a massive $5 billion investment in a new factory “three times larger than Disneyland” in Social Circle, GA. Local officials soon delivered what was likely the largest incentive package in state history in May of 2022, complete with billions in tax credits and subsidies.

Investors had high hopes for Rivian, betting it would do for trucks what Tesla did for sedans. Fortune 500 companies like Amazon and Ford each invested billions, while retail investors lined up to invest in its initial public offering. Georgia was hoping to ride the wave of excitement by offering substantial subsidies in hopes of future tax revenue and jobs.
Unfortunately, the company once lauded as being on the cutting edge of the electric vehicle revolution has seen its economic outlook dampen in recent months. Securities and Exchange Commission filings revealed Rivian only produced 56 R1T trucks in 2021, and has since struggled to meet production and revenue targets.
Georgia used its taxpayers’ money to make a speculative investment in a hyped-up company that is now showing signs of faltering. While there may be a place for local governments to offer incentives to bring jobs and future revenue to rural areas, making a multi-billion dollar bet on an unproven company may turn out to be a foolish investment for Georgia.
