Senator Markwayne Mullin spoke to reporters after President Trump fired Kristi Noem as DHS Chief.
President Trump on Thursday afternoon fired Kristi Noem as DHS Chief and immediately announced that Senator Markwayne Mullin (OK) will become the next Secretary of Homeland Security effective March 31.
Markwayne Mullin will have to be confirmed by the Senate.
Mullin gaggled with the press minutes after President made the announcement.

Mullin was asked if he had spoken to Noem.
“Have you talked to Secretary Noem yet?” a Fox News reporter asked Mullin.
“I haven’t, I’m actually, neither one of us had time to talk, so I’m going to go give her a call in just a second. You know, we’re, our families are very close and this happened very quick, so we’re going to, we are going to have a conversation with her in just a second,” Mullin said.
Later Thursday Mullin released a statement thanking President Trump for nominating him as DHS Chief.

Today (5), the Finnish government announced it will ‘ease its ban’ on nuclear weapons.
This will allow the country to import, transport, and store nukes on Finnish territory.
Politico reported:
“[Defense Minister Antti] Häkkänen told a press conference that the country’s legislative ban on nukes, dating back to 1980, was no longer relevant in the current geopolitical context. ‘The legislation does not meet the needs that Finland has as a NATO member’, Häkkänen said, according to regional media.”

NATO nuclear weapons are going to be moved within seconds of St. Petersberg. This is a major escalation.

Left wing media analyst Oliver Darcy, formerly of CNN, is reporting that the people who work at the Trump-hating network don’t like Scott Jennings, the only conservative voice on staff.
Darcy, who broke into the news business by writing for conservative outlets like Campus Reform, used to work with noted potato Brian Stelter on media reporting, before leaving the network to launch his own media newsletter, which is popular with liberal journos.
Darcy claims that other people at CNN have complained to management about Scott Jennings.

Writing Monday night at his newsletter site Status, former conservative reporter-turned-snake Oliver Darcy beclowned himself by tag-teaming with a cadre of anonymous sources inside his former employer CNN to claim our friend, talk radio host, MRC Bulldog Award winner, and senior political commentator Scott Jennings has become isolated in CNN with guests increasingly canceling on the network so as not have to associate with him.
His claim? He told readers that “CNN leadership being made aware of the concerns” he’s become for other commentators and “actual journalists” considering his weekend scoop on X that U.S. intelligence had predicted Iran would attack U.S. military targets.
Darcy whined in his piece “CNN’s Cosplaying Correspondent” that a quad-bylined, anonymously-sourced CNN.com story — featuring obsequious Deep State tool Natasha Bertrand — “pour[ed] cold water on a claim anonymously peddled by the Trump administration that had ricocheted across MAGA Media…that Iran was not planning to launch an unprovoked strike on U.S. forces in the Middle East.”…
He then insisted Jennings’s X post “did not sit well with many of CNN’s actual journalists” and “some…were frustrated, to put it mildly, that Jennings had stepped outside his lane of punditry and used his platform to credulously amplify absurd anonymous claims…that CNN’s own journalists quickly undercut.”
The funniest thing about that last part is that the liberal media loves to use anonymous sources to smear Trump.
Just to give you a reminder, this is the type of reporting that Darcy does.

March 3rd, The Gateway Pundit reported on the 4 deaths of Army Reserve Soldiers serving in Kuwait.  It has just been released that there is one more confirmed death and one unconfirmed death.
This evening, The Department of War announced the death of an Army Reserve Soldier who was supporting Operation Epic Fury. 
Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien, 45, of Indianola, Iowa, died on March 1, 2026, in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, during an unmanned aircraft system attack. The Soldier was assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, Des Moines, Iowa. The incident is under investigation. 
The Department of War also announced that another Army Reserve Soldier who was supporting Operation Epic Fury is believed to be another casualty. 
Chief Warrant Officer 3 Robert M. Marzan, 54, of Sacramento, Calif., was at the scene of the incident on March 1, 2026, in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, and is believed to be the individual who perished at the scene.  Positive identification of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Marzan will be completed by the medical examiner.  The Soldier was assigned to the 103rd Sustainment Command, Des Moines, Iowa.

Former The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck detonated a truth bomb on live television, leaving the far-left panel scrambling as she dismantled their open-borders talking points and delivered a blunt defense of strong border security.
The former co-host lectured the panel after the far-left hosts began trashing Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and criticizing the administration’s tougher immigration policies.
Instead of going along with the usual script, Hasselbeck delivered a blistering reality check.
Hasselbeck deconstructed the logic of the far-left panel by pointing directly to the people sitting in the studio. In a masterful move, she turned the camera on the audience to illustrate the necessity of vetting and boundaries.

“How many people in the audience here had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand, just be honest,” Hasselbeck challenged. “Otherwise you go to jail, I guess, for illegal trespassing, right? This is an authorized audience. They had to go through security to get through the border to get right here to just hear us talk. We need strong borders more than ever right now.”

The silence from the co-hosts was deafening as Hasselbeck drove the point home: If a daytime talk show requires a “border” to ensure safety, why doesn’t the United States of America?

Elisabeth Hasselbeck:I think all lives matter to God, and we’re in uncommon times, so we need to have uncommon sense about things like this. Yes, there will be mistakes made, but I think if Kristi Noem were up for promotion right now and she put forward the statistics that zero illegals released into the U.S. for 10 months straight have crossed, that nearly 3 million aliens have left the United States, that we have the lowest murder rate in 125 years, that fentanyl trafficking is down 56% at the border, and that daily encounters have gone down 96%—hang on one second.
We need a strong border, especially now with our current global situation. And I believe that you may say you don’t want border control and you’re against ICE, but I actually don’t believe you in your daily lives. How many people in the audience here had to go through security to get here? Raise your hand. Just be honest. Otherwise you go to jail, I guess, for illegal trespassing, right?

The Justice Department’s autopen case against Joe Biden and aides closed by the DC US Attorney’s Office, according to The New York Times and CBS News.
According to CBS News, prosecutors in Jeanine Pirro’s office dropped the criminal case into whether Joe Biden’s aides unlawfully used the autopen to issue pardons.
CBS News reported:
Federal prosecutors in U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro’s office are dropping a criminal probe into whether former President Joe Biden and his aides unlawfully used an autopen to issue pardons, a person briefed on the matter told CBS News.
Two sources confirmed the existence of the probe, with one telling CBS News that the matter has since been closed because prosecutors were never able to find a legal hook to be able to pursue the matter further. CBS News has not determined precisely when the case ended.
Last June, President Trump ordered an investigation into whether the Biden administration used an autopen machine to sign key presidential documents like pardons — months after Mr. Trump had claimed his predecessor’s pardons were illegitimate.
Mr. Trump told Attorney General Pam Bondi and the White House counsel in a memo to probe what he claimed was a “conspiracy” to “abuse the power of Presidential signatures through the use of an autopen to conceal Biden’s cognitive decline.”
The New York Times also reported that the DOJ closed the Biden autopen investigation.

The Oversight Project broke the story about the Biden autopen scandal wide open after they discovered thousands of acts of clemency and executive actions were signed with an autopen rather than a wet signature.
Last March, the Oversight Project discovered there was a second frequently used autopen signature for Joe Biden’s pardons and commutations.

After grilling Minnesota Governor Tim Walz for the rampant fraud in Minnesota committed by the Somali community, accusing him of “criminal negligence or wild incompetence,” Rep. Pat Fallon nuked Walz with a career-ending roast. 
Fallon showed Walz the pure data, with Somalis being represented in extreme disproportion, among the uneducated, those living in poverty, food stamp, Medicaid, welfare, and recipients, and those charged with social service fraud.
Before concluding his questioning of Walz, Fallon went on a tangent, asking why he dropped out of the race for Governor. “Did it have anything to do with this epic, historic, awful fraud?” he asked Walz.
Fallon then slammed Walz for ushering in “one of the largest rip-offs of the American taxpayer in our history” and went on to tell the story of how Joe Biden and Kamala Harris became Vice President of the United States.
“When Barack Obama was choosing his vice presidential candidate, he had three criteria. He wanted to make sure he picked somebody that wasn’t as smart as him, and had less talent and charisma, and couldn’t possibly outshine him. So he picked Joe Biden,” he told Walz. “And then Joe Biden, in 2020, he used the exact same criteria. He wanted to make sure he picked somebody that wasn’t as smart as him, had less talent and charisma, and wouldn’t outshine him. And he picked Kamala Harris,” he continued.
“And then in 2024, Governor, I think it’s very evident why Kamala Harris picked you.”
Walz, laughing out loud, shouted, “I wouldn’t know, Congressman!” He ironically proved Fallon’s point that he is not intelligent, lacks talent and charisma, and couldn’t outshine a dead lightbulb.
Fallon put the nail in the coffin, responding, “Mr. Chairman, the talent pool isn’t just shallow; we have hit the shore!”

Fallon: In September, roughly the fall last year, did you announce you’re running for governor again?
Walz: I believe that’s correct.
Fallon: Okay. And then I think you said in your quote here, “we’ve made historic progress, but we’re not done yet.” And then just three and a half months later, on January 5, you dropped out. I got to ask you why. I mean, were you tired of making “historic progress”?
Walz: No, Congressman. I think I’ve done the job for two terms, and I said, talking with my family, and I said, I want to focus on doing the job.
Fallon: Did it have anything to do with this epic, historic, awful fraud?
Walz: It has everything to do with trying to do stuff right for Minnesota.
Fallon: The facts are your leadership, and really your lack of leadership has been responsible one of the largest rip offs of the American taxpayer in our history. And you traded, I believe, political expediency, the currency of political expediency for your integrity. And you know, Mr. Chairman, I don’t know if you know this, but it’s widely, it’s been widely reported that in 2008, when Barack Obama was choosing his vice presidential candidate, he had three criteria. He wanted to make sure he picked somebody that wasn’t as smart as him and had less talent and charisma and couldn’t possibly outshine him. So he picked Joe Biden.
Fallon Continues: And then Joe Biden, in 2020, he used the exact same criteria. He wanted to make sure he picked somebody that wasn’t as smart as him, had less talent and charisma, and wouldn’t outshine him. And he picked Kamala Harris. And then in 2024, Governor, I think it’s very evident why Kamala Harris picked you.
Walz: I wouldn’t know, Congressman!
Fallon: Mr. Chairman, the talent pool isn’t just shallow; we have hit the shore!
