  • Why Doug Band’s Upcoming Testimony to House Oversight on the Epstein Investigation Is So Dangerous to Bill Clinton

Why Doug Band’s Upcoming Testimony to House Oversight on the Epstein Investigation Is So Dangerous to Bill Clinton

Doug Band knows where the bodies are buried when it comes to the Clinton-Epstein ties.
Band can cause more than simple reputational damage to Clinton.
Yesterday night, Cristina Laila reported here on TGP about the new explosive list of people called to give testimonies on the Jeffrey Epstein-Ghislaine investigation by the House Oversight Committee, as you can read in Comer Goes Into Overdrive, Calls on Seven More People to Appear For Transcribed Interviews on Epstein – Including Bill Gates and Former Obama WH Counsel Kathy Ruemmler.
    Here’s the complete list:

BREAKING: Chairman @RepJamesComer is seeking testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein from:
    • Doug Band
    • Bill Gates
    • Leon Black
    • Lesley Groff
    • Sarah Kellen
    • Kathryn Ruemmler
    • Ted Waitt
Our investigation continues to uncover the truth about the Epstein network.
    — Oversight Committee (@GOPoversight) March 3, 2026

The list has caused a sensation, after all, it is full of heavy hitters such as billionaires Bill Gates, Leon Black, and Ted Waitt.
There’s also ample possibility of new revelations with the testimonies of Epstein’s lieutenants, Sarah Kellen and Lesley Groff.
With all that, precious little attention has been given to the presence of former Bill Clinton top aide Doug Band.
But that testimony may turn out catastrophic for ‘Bubba’.
Bill Clinton swims with Maxwell and mystery woman / Epstein documents
While he served in the White House, Doug Band is mostly considered ‘the architect of Clinton post-presidency’.
Band reportedly first met Jeffrey Epstein in 2002, during the high-profile Aid Charity Africa trip on the ‘Lolita Express’ alongside Bill and celebrities like Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker – and a few young women.
In the years since then, Band has reportedly said – more than once – that he got ‘bad vibes’ from Epstein, and urged Clinton to cut ties right away.
He also allegedly declined Epstein’s invitation to visit Little St. James Island himself.
As we know, Clinton went ahead and flew on Epstein’s plane more than two dozen times in the early 2000s, always ostensibly for foundation-related travel.
Band is also known to have maintained extensive email contact with Ghislaine Maxwell, referring to her as his ‘social matchmaker’, ‘lover’, and even ‘pimp’ in their exchanges.
Band was the creator of the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI), an entity which both Epstein and Maxwell have, in court documents, alleged to help conceive and fund.
In later years, Band claimed that he tried to separate the Clinton family from Maxwell, barring her from events after Epstein’s 2008 plea deal.
In 2020, Band aired his grievances against the Clinton family in a long Vanity Fair interview.
Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein and Bill Clinton in the White House.
From the 2020 Vanity Fair article:
“Band told me he had been trying to push Epstein out of Clinton’s orbit ever since their much-discussed 2002 trip to Africa aboard Epstein’s private 727, dubbed the ‘Lolita Express’. Band recalled that Epstein had made a bunch of ridiculous claims on the trip, like boasting that he invented the derivatives market. Band said he had no idea about Epstein’s sex crimes back then but got enough bad vibes that he advised Clinton to end the relationship. But Clinton continued to socialize with Epstein and take his money. In 2006 Epstein donated $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Clinton made more than two dozen trips on Epstein’s jet around this time, Epstein’s flight logs show.”
And here we have the kicker:
“In January 2003, according to Band, Clinton visited Epstein’s private Caribbean Island, Little St. James. Band said it was one of the few trips he declined to go on in his time with Clinton. A Clinton spokesperson said the president had never been to the island and provided detailed travelogue entries of the period in question that did not contain a visit.”
If Band states that in his Oversight Committee testimony, he can put Clinton in all kinds of legal trouble, starting with charges for Lying to Congress.
Band also told Vanity Fair about other connections between the Clintons and Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Chelsea had ties to Epstein and Maxwell, Band said; he showed me a photo of Bill and Chelsea posing with Epstein and Maxwell at the King of Morocco’s wedding. Chelsea remained friends with Maxwell for years after the press revealed Maxwell was a close associate of Epstein’s. For instance, Chelsea invited Maxwell to her 2010 wedding at the Brooke Astor estate in Rhinebeck, New York, after Epstein had pleaded guilty in Florida to procuring sex from a minor.”

  • US Court Sentences Japanese Yakuza Gangster to Twenty Years in Prison for Trafficking Drugs, Weapons and Nuclear Material

US Court Sentences Japanese Yakuza Gangster to Twenty Years in Prison for Trafficking Drugs, Weapons and Nuclear Material

Takeshi Ebisawa has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Two decades in prison for dealing in international death and mayhem.
The world is getting more dangerous by the day, and the perspective of criminal groups branching out of their (already quite deadly) endeavors to trafficking in nuclear material is a nightmarish scenario that is all too real, now.
Today (4), a New York court has sentenced a member of the Japanese Yakuza mafia to 20 years in prison after he was convicted of trafficking nuclear material, drugs, and weapons.
    CBS News reported:
“Takeshi Ebisawa, 61, has been jailed since April 2022 on the drug and weapons charges, along with his Thai co-defendant Somphop Singhasiri, following years of investigations by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.
In February 2024, he was also accused of trying to sell military-grade nuclear material, along with narcotics including heroin and methamphetamine, to buy weapons including surface-to-air missiles for armed groups in Myanmar.”

Yesterday, @SDNYNews, @DEAHQ and @DOJNatSec announced that TAKESHI EBISAWA, a Japanese national, was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his participation in a conspiracy to traffic nuclear materials, including uranium and weapons-grade plutonium.

A DEA sting, with an operative posing as an Iranian general, was used to ensnare Ebisawa, who ended up arrested in April 2022, in Manhattan.
“After initially offering uranium, Ebisawa proposed to supply the General with ‘plutonium’ that would be even ‘better’ and more ‘powerful’ than uranium for Iran’s use,” the Justice Department said on Monday.”
    Charming fellow, right?

“Takeshi Ebisawa tried to sell weapons-grade nuclear material and deadly narcotics. He is now sentenced to 20 years in prison,” said U.S. Attorney Jay Clayton. “This is a testament to our law enforcement partners, who worked across three continents to stop these horrific crimes.”…
    — US Attorney SDNY (@SDNYnews) March 4, 2026

Ebisawa claimed to have access to a large quantity of nuclear materials for sale.
“To support his claim, he sent the source photographs depicting rocky substances with Geiger counters measuring radiation, claiming they contained thorium and uranium, the papers said.”

Absolutely shocking and ultra-woke comments from the liberal media darling James Talarico, a Texas State Representative, have surfaced as he tries to become the first Democrat in more than 30 years to win in Texas.
As The Gateway Pundit’s Jordan Conradson reported, Talarico upset Jasmine Crockett in Tuesday’s Democratic Primary race for US Senate. Talarico had 52% of the votes, scoring a rather large single-digit win over Crockett.
Crockett predicted her loss late last night and blamed “cheating,” though she later conceded defeat and endorsed Talarico.
Following his primary victory, X accounts dug up some fairly old videos of Talarico making several statements so crazy that he makes Crockett and Beto O’Rourke look almost reasonable.
In the first clip, Talarico has a take on God so insane that one would think it was a Not The Bee skit.
“God is both masculine and feminine and everything in between,” Talarico claims. “God is non-binary.”

In another video, Talarico explains to a church audience how ‘important’ it is for transgender individuals to receive abortion services.
“Before we go further, I want to acknowledge that our trans community needs abortion care too,” he says. “Defending trans Texans is something we have to do every day at the State Capitol.”

The National Republican Senate Committee also obtained a clip of Talarico bragging about how Jesus Christ was a radical feminist. What?
“Did they teach you in Sunday school that Jesus Christ was a radical feminist?” Talarico boasts.

Like most Democrats, Talarico does not know how many sexes there are (the correct answer is two: male and female). But he may be the first person to assert there are six.
But he does not list the other four supposed sexes he has in mind.
“I want us all to be aware of that modern science recognizes that there are many more than two biological sexes,” Talarico says. “There are six.”

Can’t wait to hear the Democratic Party’s newest star explain the other four to the voters in Texas. pic.twitter.com/r8d6KV3KV5

During an interview with Joe Rogan last year, Talarico tried to justify abortion by using the story of Mary’s Annunciation.
“In the context of abortion…Before God comes over Mary and we have the incarnation, God asks for Mary’s consent,” Talarico tells Rogan. “The Angel comes down and asks Mary if this is something she wants to do, and she says if it is God’s will, let it be done.”
“To me, that is an affirmation that creation has to be done with consent.”

The Democrat nominee for Senate in Texas says that the story of Mary’s Annunciation justifies abortion:

In addition to these videos, Talarico seemingly feels guilty about being a white man and calls his group “the greatest domestic terror threat in America.”

    Black Americans in a church.
    Mexican Americans in a store.
    Asian Americans in a spa.
Radicalized white men are the greatest domestic terrorist threat in our country.
    — James Talarico (@jamestalarico) March 18, 2021

In addition, Talarico not only supports racist DEI policies but also wants to force them down the throats of innocent children.

I’m co-authoring legislation to explicitly teach “diversity, equity, and inclusion” in our schools.
I’ve also filed House Bill 4111 which would require school districts over a certain size to hire a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer.
    — James Talarico (@jamestalarico) March 18, 2021

Regardless of whether John Cornyn or Ken Paxton wins the Texas Senate runoff, the GOP must unite to keep this wolf in sheep’s clothing from winning in November. If bright red Texas falls to the left, there is nothing to stop them from permanently altering the American landscape for good.

  • Poland Will Seek Its Own Nuclear Weapons, Prime Minister Tusk Says

Poland Will Seek Its Own Nuclear Weapons, Prime Minister Tusk Says

Poland’s government has signaled that it intends to take a far more assertive role in shaping Europe’s nuclear future. Prime Minister Donald Tusk on Tuesday declared that Warsaw will not remain “passive” when it comes to nuclear security in a military context, suggesting that Poland will eventually seek its own nuclear weapons.
Speaking ahead of a Cabinet meeting in Warsaw, Tusk confirmed that Poland is engaged in discussions with France and several European partners regarding what he described as an “advanced nuclear deterrent system.” The issue, he said, will soon be formally reviewed by the Polish government.
“Poland will not want to be passive when it comes to nuclear security in a military context,” Tusk stated. “We will cooperate with our allies, including France, which has made this specific proposal, and as our own autonomous capabilities increase, we will also strive to prepare Poland in the future for the most autonomous actions possible in this matter.”
The remarks follow French President Emmanuel Macron’s announcement that Paris intends to strengthen its nuclear deterrence posture and extend structured cooperation to select European states. Poland is among the countries that have expressed interest in participating in exploratory talks.
Under the French concept, cooperation could involve hosting components of France’s strategic air forces, joint military exercises, and visible demonstrations of nuclear capabilities beyond French territory. However, Macron made clear that ultimate authority over the use of French nuclear weapons would remain exclusively with the French president.
That limitation has not deterred Warsaw from engaging in discussions. Tusk said Poland is consulting not only bilaterally with Paris but also with other invited participants in the emerging framework.
“In March, the Nuclear Energy Summit will take place in Paris,” Tusk noted. “There, I will also have the opportunity to discuss this not only with President Macron, but also with our other European partners.”
The broader backdrop is Europe’s growing concern about the reliability of existing security structures. French officials have argued that the global arms control architecture is weakening and that Europe must adapt to a more unstable security environment.
Poland, a NATO member and signatory to the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, does not possess nuclear weapons. Nonetheless, it plays an active role in NATO’s collective defense planning, including participation in nuclear deterrence consultations.
Tusk’s language suggests a strategic shift toward greater European autonomy in defense matters. “We are investing heavily in future nuclear power plants,” he said, linking Poland’s civilian nuclear ambitions with a broader national security posture.
The prime minister added that as Poland’s capabilities expand, Warsaw intends to “prepare Poland for autonomous action in this matter.” In an era where geopolitical uncertainties are mounting, such language reflects a growing desire for sovereign capacity rather than dependence.
Public opinion appears to be moving in a similar direction. A new IBRiS poll for Radio ZET found that 50.9% of Poles support acquiring nuclear weapons, while 38.6% oppose the idea and 10.5% remain undecided.
Of those surveyed, 20.9% said “definitely yes” to Poland obtaining nuclear weapons, while 30.0% responded “rather yes.” On the other side, 23.5% said “rather no” and 15.1% “definitely no.”
Support was evenly split between men and women, at 51% each. Opposition was somewhat lower among women than men, though a notable share in both groups remained undecided.
Political affiliation reveals sharper contrasts. Backing for acquiring nuclear weapons was highest among right-wing voters, with 79% of right-wing Confederation supporters and 65% of national-conservative Law and Justice (PiS) voters in favor.
Support was also present among voters of the New Left, at 54%. By contrast, only 35% of Civic Coalition voters—the governing bloc—expressed support, the lowest level among the major parties surveyed.
These figures suggest that the debate over nuclear deterrence is increasingly a question of national sovereignty and long-term security in the eyes of the electorate.
For many in Poland, the issue is framed less as aggression and more as self-reliance. In a continent long accustomed to outsourcing strategic decisions, Warsaw’s stance reflects a broader recalibration.
The French proposal does not currently offer shared decision-making authority over nuclear use. Yet for Poland, participation in a structured deterrence arrangement could signal both solidarity and strategic leverage.
Tusk’s government appears intent on keeping its options open. While no formal decision has been made, Warsaw is clearly positioning itself as an active participant in shaping Europe’s deterrence architecture.

WATCH: “You’re Stealing My Dadgum Money, I Want it Back, and I Want Your Ass in Jail!” – Tim Burchett to DOJ: “They Need to Get Off Their Ass and Do Something” About Minnesota Fraud (EXCLUSIVE)

Representative Tim Burchett (R-TN) went off on the Department of Justice after the House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday dragged Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison in to testify on the theft of federal funds in Minnesota.
Like most Americans, Burchett said he’s not confident any accountability will be seen for the billions of dollars stolen from US taxpayers.
“$19 billion dollars have been stolen. They’re covering, they’re not gonna do a day in jail, everybody’s gonna wring their hands and talk real tough,” he told The Gateway Pundit. “We need to get some guts and start arresting some of these people.”
Burchett further said that Attorney General Pam Bondi and her staff at the DOJ “need to get off their ass and do something.”
“People are fed up. I don’t care if you’re Republican or Democrat or whatever,” he continued.
“You’re stealing my dadgum money, I want it back, and I want your ass in jail.”
    WATCH:
Conradson: What do you think so far of this hearing? Tim Walz, Keith Ellison, are you convinced?
Burchett: No man! They’re, look, $19 billion? I was in the state legislature, and that was a budget for the whole state of Tennessee. $19 billion dollars have been stolen. They’re covering, they’re not gonna do a day in jail, everybody’s gonna wring their hands and talk real tough. We need to get some guts and start arresting some of these people.
Conradson: That’s DOJ, right? You think Pam Bondi needs to step it up?
Burchett: Yeah, they need to get off their ass and do something. People are fed up. I don’t care if you’re Republican or Democrat or whatever. You’re stealing my dadgum money, I want it back, and I want your ass in jail.

Higgins UNLOADS on Keith Ellison During Fraud Hearing: “Don’t Hide Behind Medicaid — The Minnesota AG Should Resign!”

Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA) shredded Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison over his failure to prosecute massive healthcare fraud.
The confrontation reached a fever pitch when Higgins flatly called for the radical Democrat’s resignation.
During his questioning, Higgins pressed Ellison repeatedly on whether he was personally leading a broad criminal investigation into the massive fraud allegations.
Higgins noted that Minnesota law allows the attorney general to prosecute cases beyond Medicaid fraud if requested by county attorneys or the governor.
Yet, when asked whether he was directing the larger investigation into fraud in Minnesota’s healthcare and social service programs, Ellison appeared to focus only on Medicaid-related prosecutions.
    That response set Higgins off.
“Are you leading the effort?” Higgins asked repeatedly.
Ellison responded that his office was leading prosecutions related to Medicaid fraud.
But Higgins quickly cut him off.

“I’m not talking about Medicaid fraud. Don’t hide behind that.”

The Louisiana Republican warned that the scale of the alleged fraud demanded leadership from the state’s top law enforcement official.
“You have the authority to prosecute anything criminally that the governor asks you to,” Higgins said. “And this thing is big.”
When pressed again about whether he was leading the broader criminal investigation into fraud across Minnesota’s healthcare and social services programs, Ellison replied that his office was simply “following the law.”
That answer appeared to confirm Higgins’ suspicions that the attorney general was not directing a comprehensive statewide investigation.
Higgins then delivered a blunt conclusion.

“You’re not leading. I must say, Mr. Chairman, that the Attorney General of the state of Minnesota should resign.”

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that a 54-minute secret recording from a December 11, 2021, closed-door meeting inside Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison’s official state office is resurfacing amid explosive revelations that 70 Somali community members in Minnesota participated in stealing $250 million in federal COVID child-feeding funds.
On the tape released by American Experiment earlier this year, Ellison sympathizes with, encourages, and ultimately promises assistance to a group of Somali-American business leaders, many of whom would later be charged or convicted in the largest COVID relief fraud scheme in U.S. history.
The audio reveals Ellison mocking state agency oversight, vowing to “fight” on behalf of the very operators who investigators say were deeply involved in a web of wire fraud, money laundering, and fake meal claims across Minnesota.

“Are you Governor of Minnesota, or Not?… Thank God You are Not the VP” — Rep. Nancy Mace HUMILIATES CLUELESS Tim Walz with Basic Math After 34,200% Autism Spending Scandal Under His Watch

    Screenshot
Far-left Minnesota Governor Tim Walz found himself completely outmatched Wednesday during a fiery House Oversight Committee hearing, when Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) dismantled the Democrat governor with a series of basic questions including simple math he appeared unable or unwilling to answer.
The setting was the House Oversight Committee’s hearing titled “Oversight of Fraud and Misuse of Federal Funds in Minnesota: Part II,” and by the time Mace was finished, there wasn’t much left of Walz’s reputation as an “effective administrator.”
The Gateway Pundit reported earlier when Mace tested Walz on his grasp of basic reality.
“What is a woman? Have you learned that lesson?” Mace asked point-blank.
Walz, visibly agitated and refusing to provide a biological definition, lashed out: “I’m not here to be your prop for your obsession!”
Mace didn’t miss a beat. “If you can’t define woman, you certainly can’t define fraud!” she shot back, before pivoting to the cold, hard numbers that Walz clearly hoped would never see the light of day.
But the most memorable moment of the hearing came when Rep. Nancy Mace decided to test the governor’s knowledge of his own state and the results were humiliating.
Mace noted that in 2017, Minnesota spent approximately $1 million on these programs. By 2024, under Walz’s watch, that number skyrocketed to a staggering $343 million.
The humiliation continued as Mace exposed Walz’s total lack of awareness regarding his own constituents. While Walz bragged about “rankings,” he couldn’t provide the basic number of children residing in Minnesota, nor could he estimate how many are actually on the autism spectrum.
Then came the line that resonated across social media: “Thank God you’re not Vice President of the United States.”

Nancy Mace:How much money was spent on autism in Minnesota in 2017, Governor?
Tim Walz:I don’t have those numbers in front of me, Congresswoman.
Nancy Mace:Did you prepare for this hearing today?
Did you do any preparation for this hearing today?
Tim Walz:I did. I take Congress seriously.
Nancy Mace:And you’ve seen the numbers about autism fraud in Minnesota. So we’re going to do some Minnesota math with you today, okay? Are you ready? How much money was spent in 2017 for autism in Minnesota? How much?
    Tim Walz:I don’t know. I wasn’t the governor.
Nancy Mace:Okay. Did you not just say that you prepared for this hearing today? $1 million. Okay. A quick Google search, or using your AI, could tell you $1 million was spent. How much money was spent on autism in Minnesota in 2024?
Tim Walz:I don’t have the number in front of me.
Nancy Mace:Were you the governor in 2024?
Tim Walz:I was, but I’m not the head of—
Nancy Mace:So your excuse before was that you didn’t know what the 2017 autism numbers were because you were not governor, and today you can’t answer the numbers about 2024 as governor, and you still said you prepared for this hearing today. It’s unbelievable. $343 million was spent in 2024. What percent increase is that from $1 million to $343 million? What percentage increase is that?
Tim Walz:I’m not here to be your prop. Go ahead and tell me.
Nancy Mace:Well, are you governor of Minnesota or not?
Tim Walz:Yes, I am. I’m not a prop for a member of Congress.
Nancy Mace:You can sure as hell bet that I’m going to know the math. The math is a 34,200% increase—an increase of 343 times what it was in this time period. Do you know the number of children in Minnesota?
Tim Walz:I know that Minnesota ranked as a top three state for children in the last year.
Nancy Mace:What is the total population in Minnesota?
    Tim Walz:5.7 million.
Nancy Mace:Okay. What is the total population of children in Minnesota?
Tim Walz:I don’t have the number in front of me right now.
Nancy Mace:Are you the governor of Minnesota?
Tim Walz:I know 400,000 were cut out of healthcare last week by the actions you made.
Nancy Mace:Are you the governor of Minnesota?
    Tim Walz:I am.
Nancy Mace:And you don’t know the number of children residing in Minnesota?
Tim Walz:I don’t have the specific number. It’s 5.7 million.
    Nancy Mace:That’s your total population.
    Tim Walz:What age? What is the age—0 to 5? 0 to 19?
Nancy Mace:You have approximately 1.2 million children in Minnesota.
    Tim Walz:What age?
Nancy Mace:I’m not even governor of South Carolina. Our population in South Carolina is 5.5 million. We have approximately 1.1 million children under the age of 18 in my home state of South Carolina. Okay, as governor, I expect you to know this information. Thank God you’re not Vice President of the United States. Do you know approximately how many children in Minnesota are autistic or on the spectrum?
    Tim Walz:No, I don’t. I don’t have that number.
Nancy Mace:Okay, well, if you take the CDC’s roughly 1 in 36 kids who are on the spectrum, we’re talking about approximately 33,000 kids. In South Carolina, it’s about 31,000 or so. Do you know what this is per child, spending-wise, in the fraud for autistic kids in Minnesota?
Tim Walz:Again, I’m not here to be your prop. Go ahead and tell us.
Nancy Mace:Is doing Minnesota math a prop? This is math. We’re talking about fraud.
Tim Walz:Minnesota ranks at the top. Where does South Carolina rank?
    Nancy Mace:We’re talking about money.
Tim Walz:Where do South Carolina children rank on healthiness?
Nancy Mace:These are my questions for you. It doesn’t go the other way around unless we’re debating on a debate stage, and we’re not.
Tim Walz:If you’re asking questions about being governor, it does. When you’re governor, you can come and tell me.
Nancy Mace:I’m asking you questions about being governor of Minnesota, which you can’t answer. This is basic math, and you can’t even answer. Do you even care about kids in Minnesota?
Tim Walz:They rank near the top in every category. My children are fed. My children are housed. My children have healthcare. My children have the best schools.
Nancy Mace:Do you care about autistic children getting the services they need in Minnesota? Clearly, you don’t.

Legendary college football coach Lou Holtz passed away on Wednesday at 89.
Holtz had a storied career at the University of Notre Dame.
Holtz, who coached the Fighting Irish from 1986 to 1996, won 100 games and led the team to a national title in 1988.
While his cause of death has not been disclosed, his family shared that he died surrounded by his family.
A statement from his family shared,  “Louis Leo ‘Lou’ Holtz, legendary college football coach, Hall of Famer, bestselling author, and one of America’s most influential motivational voices, has passed away at the age of 89 in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by family.”
“Born January 6, 1937, in Follansbee, West Virginia, Holtz rose from humble beginnings to become one of the most respected figures in college athletics. Over a remarkable five decade career, he led college programs at William & Mary, NC State, Arkansas, Minnesota, Notre Dame, and South Carolina.”
“He transformed every team he inherited and captured the 1988 National Championship with the Fighting Irish. Holtz was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than 50 years, Beth, with whom he shared a life grounded in faith, devotion, and service.”
“Holtz is remembered for his enduring values of faith, family, service, and an unwavering belief in the potential of others. His influence extended far beyond the football field through the Holtz Charitable Foundation and the many players, colleagues, and communities shaped by his leadership.”
He is survived by his four children, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements, including a Mass of Christian Burial at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame, will be announced as details are finalized.”
Wesley Pritchett, who played for Holtz on the 1988 National Championship team, shared a beautiful conversation he had with the coach.
“This is Pure Gold. I had the pleasure of spending time with Coach Holtz. I wanted to hear him explain his Three Rules for Life! 1) Do what’s right – trust. 2) Do everything to the best of your ability- commitment. 3) Show people you care – love. It’s pretty simple. He goes on to highlight why the transfer portal is ruining college football. The kids are losing out on the life lessons learned- how to persevere, how to be committed to a program and a group of people. You miss out on the bonds you create over 4 years. If you leave, you still have the problem, you are changing the address. These are words to live by.”

During the 2016 Presidential Election, Holtz endorsed Trump in the Republican primary season and released a video endorsement praising Trump’s business success, first-class style, and non-politically correct approach.
During the 2020 Presidential Election, Holtz was one of Trump’s most prominent celebrity backers and spoke at the Republican National Convention (RNC) on August 26, 2020, endorsing Trump’s re-election.
He called Trump a “consistent winner” and “outstanding leader” who “loves our country,” praised his accomplishments, criticized Joe Biden and Kamala Harris (labeling them “Catholics in name only” on abortion issues), and urged voters to “show up” for Trump.
In 2020, Trump awarded Holtz the Presidential Medal of Freedom, America’s highest civilian honor.
Holtz thanked the President and called him “the greatest President during my lifetime.”
In September 2024, a video circulated of Holtz saying, “America needs Donald Trump now more than ever,” emphasizing that Trump would “secure the border,” succeed in making America great again, and needed voters’ help as part of a “team.”

  • Rep. Dan Crenshaw Loses Texas GOP Primary to State Rep. Steve Toth in Double-Digit Upset

Rep. Dan Crenshaw Loses Texas GOP Primary to State Rep. Steve Toth in Double-Digit Upset

    Dan Crenshaw / GB News
In a major victory for conservative voters in Texas, Rep. Dan Crenshaw has been defeated by State Rep. Steve Toth in the Republican primary for Texas’s 2nd Congressional District.
With 58 percent of votes reported as of late Tuesday night, Toth was leading decisively with 57.6 percent to Crenshaw’s 39.2 percent.
President Donald Trump endorsed every other Texas House Republican incumbent running for re-election ahead of the March 3 primary, but deliberately left Crenshaw out.
This made Crenshaw the only Texas GOP House member without Trump’s backing in a competitive race.

Toth is leading in both Harris and Montgomery counties that make up the district.

If Toth stays above the 50 percent threshold, which appears likely, he will win the nomination outright and avoid a May runoff.
Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL first elected in 2018, had faced mounting criticism from the right for positions opposed by the MAGA base, including his past opposition to certain vaccine mandate rollbacks and public spats with conservative media figures.
Toth, a longtime state representative from The Woodlands and owner of a local pool company, campaigned as a hard-line conservative and received the endorsement of Sen. Ted Cruz.
The district remains solidly Republican, so the GOP nominee is heavily favored to win the general election in November.

    Crenshaw looks cooked
58% of the vote is in and he’s down by 18 points
That would make 2 incumbents to lose pic.twitter.com/WRT2rM4V8k

This is likely to be one of the biggest primary upsets of the 2026 cycle.
