Security Lines Out the Door- Airports Across the County in Disarray Thanks Democrat Shutdown of DHS

U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS)
Airports across the country are in disarray thanks to the Democrats’ shutdown of DHS.
In mid-February 2026, Congress failed to pass funding legislation, resulting in a partial shutdown of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS).
Funding for DHS expired on February 13, 2026, affecting agencies like the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Coast Guard, and cybersecurity operations.
Democrats in Congress have refused to support funding bills without reforms to rein in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), citing concerns over aggressive deportation tactics and incidents like the killing of two Americans by federal agents in Minneapolis.
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) ripped Dems for prioritizing politics over national security, especially amid heightened threats from the ongoing U.S.-Iran conflict (Operation Epic Fury).
On Wednesday, during a press conference, Speaker Johnson stated, “Now is the time to be vigilant at home and to ensure that all of our doors are locked, so to speak.”
“And yet, as all this is happening, we have Democrats running around here playing political games in Congress. It’s infuriating. They’ve shut down the very agency that is responsible for securing the homeland.”
As the shutdown continues, Americans are paying the price for the political tantrum with long lines at TSA security that are adding hours to travel time and causing travelers to miss flights.
As of early March 2026, the shutdown has lasted over three weeks, with no immediate resolution in sight, though negotiations continue amid pressure from the White House and escalating international tensions.
DHS shared on social media. “SECURITY LINES OUT THE DOOR. Americans are now missing their flights because of the Democrats shutdown of DHS.”
“Their political stunt is forcing patriotic TSA officers to work without pay — leading to financial hardship, absences, and crippling staffing shortages.”
“Enough is enough: Democrats must fund DHS NOW.”

  • Sen. John Kennedy: Trump Had “No Choice” But to Strike Iran (VIDEO)

Sen. John Kennedy: Trump Had “No Choice” But to Strike Iran (VIDEO)

WATCH: Sen. John Kennedy: Trump Had “No Choice” But to Strike Iran
Senator John Kennedy is pushing back against growing criticism from Democrats over President Donald Trump’s recent military strikes against Iran.
During a new interview on Newsmax, Kennedy made the case that Trump’s actions were not the beginning of another endless Middle East conflict—but rather an effort to prevent a far larger and more dangerous war from erupting.
“President Trump did not start a war by entering Iran,” Kennedy said during the interview. “He is trying to stop a war.”
The Louisiana senator explained that intelligence briefings and basic strategic realities point to the same conclusion: Iran’s leadership had no intention of abandoning its nuclear ambitions.
According to Kennedy, Iran’s ruling regime—which he described as religious zealots—was actively rebuilding its military capabilities after previous strikes earlier this year.
“They were not going to ever stop trying to develop a nuclear warhead,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy noted that after the United States bombed Iranian targets in June, the regime quickly began rebuilding its missile arsenal and expanding weapons production.
“They were manufacturing hundreds of missiles a month,” he explained.
Even more concerning, Kennedy said, was Iran’s growing cooperation with global adversaries.
The regime’s strategy, according to the senator, involved working with China and Russia to produce such a massive stockpile of missiles that any attempt to strike Iran would risk triggering a regional catastrophe.
“Their game plan was to manufacture enough missiles with the help of China and Russia so that no one could attack them without them blowing up the entire Middle East,” Kennedy said.
“And we could not allow that to happen.”
Critics—particularly on the Left—have argued that Trump needed congressional authorization before launching the strikes. Some media outlets (like MSNOW, CNN) and Democrat lawmakers have framed the operation as the start of another Middle East war.
But Kennedy rejected that narrative, arguing that the military objectives are limited and clearly defined.
According to the senator, the mission has several specific goals: destroy Iran’s remaining nuclear weapons infrastructure, eliminate its missile and drone manufacturing capabilities, cripple its naval forces, and dismantle the military networks controlled by Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.
“To destroy their manufacturing facilities for missiles and drones, to destroy their navy, which we have done,” Kennedy said.
“To destroy all the infrastructure for their army and the Revolutionary Guard.”
After those objectives are achieved, Kennedy said the United States intends to leave.
The goal is not long-term occupation or nation-building—policies widely blamed for America’s past failures in the Middle East.
Instead, the senator suggested the strikes could weaken the regime enough that the Iranian people may eventually challenge their rulers themselves.
“Hopefully we will have undermined the religious zealots sufficiently,” Kennedy said, “so that the people of Iran can rise up and try to do something about it.”
Kennedy also made clear that Trump has no interest in sending American troops into Iran.
“I do not believe the president will put boots on the ground,” he said. “I do not believe he wants to stay there permanently. I do not believe he wanted to do this.”
Kennedy added that the president ultimately faced a difficult reality.
“I think he had no choice.”
The debate over the strikes is likely to intensify in Washington in the coming days.
While many Democrats have criticized the operation, many Republicans argue that failing to act would have allowed Iran to expand its nuclear and missile programs even further—putting both the United States and its allies at risk.
For supporters of the president, Kennedy’s message is simple: Trump’s decision was not about starting a war.

  • Energy Secretary Chris Wright on President Trump’s Plan to Lower Energy Prices (VIDEO)

Energy Secretary Chris Wright on President Trump’s Plan to Lower Energy Prices (VIDEO)

Energy Secretary Chris Wright was on “Fox News Sunday” with host Shannon Bream to discuss President Trump’s plan to lower energy prices.
“The average for a gallon of gas here in the US is up over 40 cents since these strikes started. What is the plan?” Bream asked.
“The plan is to get oil and natural gas and fertilizer and all the products from the gulf, flowing through the straits before too long,” Wright said.
“One large tanker has already gone through the straits with no issues at all,” Wright said.
“We are massively attriting their ability to strike with missiles and drones, and that rate of attrition will increase in the coming days,” Wright continued.
“Energy will flow soon. It’s one of the reasons the President had to move on this war. Iran has just terrorized America, the neighborhood and energy markets for 47 years,” Wright said.
Secretary Wright explained that energy markets are doing well and the rise in prices is temporary because of the uncertainty of what is taking place in the Middle East.
“Energy markets are massively well supplied right now. In fact, the run up in prices has nothing to do with any shortage of barrels of oil or natural gas. It’s just fear and perception, the unknown that this could be some long you know, drawn out crisis, but it won’t be,” Wright continued.
“The world is abundantly supplied with energy thanks to President Trump’s energy dominance agenda. The United States is a net exporter of oil, net exporter of natural gas,” Wright said.
“This is a disruption on the way to a much better place to end a 47-year war against America,” Wright continued.
“What is the plan with respect to the reserve?” Bream asked regarding Rep Sean Casten’s comments on oil reserves.
“Again, representative Casten of course wrong on both of those points and probably fully aware he’s wrong when he says that,” Wright commented.
“We have been refilling the strategic petroleum reserve, but we only can do that with monies approved by Congress,” Wright explained.
“It shouldn’t have been depleted for the 2022 midterm elections as the Biden administration did,” Wright said.

Rep Rick Crawford on Keeping the US Secure During “Operation Epic Fury” from Terrorist Attacks (VIDEO)

Rep Rick Crawford, House Intelligence Chairman, was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to discuss America’s security during “Operation Epic Fury.”
“The question I left our audience with is, are we safe? We know that Iran wants to avenge the killing of Khamenei, and we are worried about active terror cells here in America. What can you tell us?” Bartiromo asked.
Rep Crawford explained that there are millions of people who are aligned with the Iranian regime religiously, so that contributes to the global threat of terrorist attacks.
“What we know about the Iranian regime is there are some 30 million Shiites around the world,” Crawford said.
“They are aligned with this regime religiously, and what that does is provide them with a global network,” Crawford continued.
“We just saw a potential bombing, or it was a bombing. It may have been a terrorist attack. We think it was, in Norway at the US Embassy in Oslo,” Crawford continued.
“We know that that threat is there. We know it is persistent and what that means here at home is number one, we have to fund DHS. We’ve got to get these Democrats to stop playing politics with Homeland Security,” Crawford continued.
“We need to fund DHS and make sure that they have the resources to address this problem,” Crawford said.
“What’s it going to take the Democrats to understand that?” Bartiromo asked.
“This is exactly the pattern of Democrats. They move the goal posts time after time,” Crawford said.

FBI Launches Terrorism Probe as Bombs at New York City Counter-Protest Reported to Have Deadly TATP Explosive Favored by Islamist Terrorists

The two homemade bombs that failed to detonate at a counter-protest against an anti-Islam demonstration in New York City on Saturday contained the deadly explosive TATP (triacetone triperoxide), aka “Mother of Satan,” that is favored by Islamist terrorists, according to reports. The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has reportedly taken the lead in the investigation. (Previous TGP article.)
One bomb was thrown at an anti-Islam rally held at Gracie Mansion, official home to New York City’s first Muslim mayor, Zohran Mamdani, that was led by controversial J6er Jake Lang. One suspect reportedly yelled “Allahu akbar” when the bomb was thrown. The second bomb was dropped after being ignited by a fleeing suspect.
Neither of the bombs, which reportedly contained nuts and bolts, went off–saving countless lives. New York City police ran to the danger and secured the bombs. (A third suspected device is being investigated after being found several blocks away from Gracie Mansion on Sunday.)

    Photo posted by NYPD.
Two men from Pennsylvania, Emir Bala, 18, and Ibrahim Kayumi, 19, were arrested at the scene in connection to the attempted bombings. The New York Post reported the men are “self-radicalized” supporters of ISIS and confessed to the bombing. Both men reportedly had recently traveled to the Middle East.

    New York Post excerpt:
The protesters busted for hurling an IED at Gracie Mansion trained with ISIS overseas and packed their bomb with “Mother of Satan” – an explosive long favored by international terrorists, sources said.
The two pro-Muslim fanatics – Ibraham Kayumi, 19, and Emir Balat, 18 – both self-radicalized in recent years and traveled to Turkey and other terror-training hot spots, law enforcement sources close to the case told The Post.
Balat spent more than three months in Istanbul last year, while Ibrahim flew to Istanbul and Saudi Arabia in 2024, and made a trip to Melbourne, Australia in 2019, they said.
Both admitted to cops after getting busted at a rowdy demonstration outside the mayor’s residence on Saturday that they also watch ISIS videos and tossed the bomb at right-wing agitators because they felt they insulted their religion, the sources said.
    Excerpt from CBS News report:
Law enforcement sources told CBS News that the devices consisted of a sports drink bottle filled or partially filled with explosive material set inside glass jars and surrounded by fragmentation, or nuts and bolts. The fuse was apparently connected to an M80-type firework.
Two sources told CBS News that the IEDs contained triacetone triperoxide, or TATP, a volatile explosive material. It is often synthesized from acetone and hydrogen peroxide, appearing as a white crystalline powder.
Another suspicious device was found Sunday in a vehicle on East End Ave. about three blocks south of the park where Gracie Mansion is located, the NYPD said, prompting “limited evacuations of buildings in the vicinity while the Bomb Squad assesses and removes the device.”
The FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has taken the lead and launched a terrorism investigation. Search warrants were expected to be executed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, sources told CBS News.
…Investigators are looking into the overseas travel for Balat and Kayumi. Balat left the U.S. for several months and traveled to Istanbul from May 6 to Aug. 26, 2025. Meanwhile, Kayumi traveled to Istanbul for several weeks in July and August 2024 and to Saudi Arabia in late March of that year.
A Fox News contributor, former NYPD inspector Paul Mauro, spoke about the implications of the use of TATP in a clip posted by Nick Sorter:
“This is the same substance used by major terrorist organizations like Al Qaeda and ISIS, as well as in attacks like the 7/7 London bombings in 2005, kiIIing 56, and the Ariana Grande concert bombing, kiIIing 22.
“These are situations where you’re well into double figures of people killed—never mind injured. So this was a very, very serious attempt, much more serious, I would argue, than it likely seemed to many initially,” Mauro said

New York City police chief Jessica Tisch posted about the bombs earlier Sunday:
The NYPD Bomb Squad has conducted a preliminary analysis of a device that was ignited and deployed at a protest yesterday and has determined that it is not a hoax device or a smoke bomb. It is, in fact, an improvised explosive device that could have caused serious injury or death.
Further analysis will be conducted, including on a second device.
Emir Balat and Ibrahim Kayumi were arrested on scene yesterday and are in custody in connection with this matter. The NYPD is working on this investigation with our partners at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and the FBI through our Joint Terrorism Task Force.
I want to again thank the brave members of the NYPD who ran towards the danger without hesitation and quickly apprehended the suspects.

Kevin Hermening, a Republican running for the House in Wisconsin Republican, knows the brutality of the Iranian regime better than most.
In 1979, 66 Americans were taken hostage. Hermening, who was a young Marine at the time, and 51 others were held captive by the Islamic Republic for the entire duration of the conflict, 444 days.
The New York Post notes, “Hermening was in solitary confinement for 43 days, held in a 5×10 room, handcuffed and blindfolded at first.”
“They kept me separated because there was a long period of time where they didn’t believe that I was, ‘only a Marine security guard,’ ” he said.
One friend held captive saw his weight drop from 350 pounds to just 150 pounds during the ordeal. Another captive, Col. Charles Scott, “had three of his teeth busted off with rubber hoses during his interrogations.”
Despite his experience, Hermening has hope for Iran’s future as its regime leaders have come under attack.
“Just like it was a great day for me when I was ultimately freed along with my colleagues, I think it’ll be a great day some day … that the Iranian people are able to pursue their version of a liberal democracy, or at least moving in that direction.”
Hermening shared his support of American efforts in Iran on social media noting, “As a veteran, I know the weight of sending Americans into harm’s way.”
“Military action is never something we should take lightly. It requires clarity, purpose and steady leadership.”
“I support President Trump’s decision to act to protect American lives and confront a regime that has targeted Americans, armed our enemies, and destabilized the entire region for more than four decades.”
“Most of all today, I’m thinking about the men and women in uniform carrying out this mission. I’m grateful for their
courage, and I’m praying for their safety and safe return. Freedom is precious. I’ve learned that personally. And it is
    always worth defending.”

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt on the SAVE Act – “There Should be No Pushback to Any of the Commonsense Proposals in the SAVE America Act” (VIDEO)

White House Press Secretary was on “Sunday Morning Futures” with host Maria Bartiromo to talk about the success of “Operation Epic Fury.” She also discussed how gas prices are temporarily affected due to the instability in the Middle East.
Secretary Leavitt also discussed President Trump’s priority of passing the SAVE Act to secure federal elections by requiring ID to vote.
“What is the President expecting to do to rein in those prices right now, where we are watching and waiting for those midterm elections in November?” Bartiromo asked.
“The President is watching everything, both abroad, through the demolition of the rogue Iranian regime, through ‘Operation Epic Fury,’ and of course here at home,” Leavitt said.
“The President inherited the worst affordability crisis in our nation’s history from Joe Biden, and look at the progress he has made in the course of the past year,” Leavitt said.
“With respect to what’s happening with gas prices right now, this is a short-term disruption for the long-term gain of taking out the rogue Iranian terrorist regime and finally ending their restriction of the free flow of energy in the Middle East and in the Strait of Hormuz,” Leavitt continued.
“The President is also trying to protect elections, so in the middle of all of this, he is talking about the SAVE Act,” Bartiromo said.
“Why would the President want to muddy up this issue and add transgenderism and no men in women’s sports right now when the issue of all voters getting proof of citizenship has already been accepted by some Democrats like John Fetterman?” Bartiromo asked.
“There should be no pushback to any of the commonsense proposals in the SAVE America Act,” Leavitt said.
“Mandatory voter ID in the United States of America. 90 percent of our country Democrats and Republicans support this commonsense solution to secure American elections,” Leavitt said.
“Requiring US citizenship to register to vote. Another commonsense measure that absolutely must be done to secure our elections and the future of our country,” Leavitt continued.
“With these other two ideas with no men in women’s sports and with ending transgender surgeries for minor children. These are commonsense proposals and policies that again are backed by the vast majority of our country,” Leavitt said.

DOJ-Released Picture Shows Disgraced Former Prince Andrew With Trafficking Victim in His Lap, as His Daughter Eugenie Has To Resign From Charity Over Relentless Epstein Scandal

DOJ-released image shows Andrew with a presumed Epstein victim – and a Wiki Commons picture of his daughter Eugenie.
Another week, another ‘Randy Andy’ scandal.
By now, having lost all his British royal perks, titles, and honors, having been arrested, currently under investigation, one could imagine that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, exiled in a Sandringham farm, couldn’t care less if yet another compromising picture of him has been released by the US DOJ.
But, in fact, it’s the compounding effect this has on his investigation, and also the consequences being faced by his daughters.

The undated images, small and low resolution, are among the 180,000 photographs released by the DOJ under the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
They’re more of a blur, these new photos, but they keep the spotlight on Andrew after a slew of compromising photos and documents destroyed whatever was left of his life.
Eugenie is suffering the consequences for her father’s alleged crimes.
In the meantime, people around Andrew are also suffering grave reputational damage.
His daughter, Princess Eugenie, had to resign from her role in an anti-slavery charity, as the relentless fallout from the Epstein documents continues.
    Page Six reported:
“[She] served for seven years as a patron of Anti-Slavery International.
On Sunday, the princess, 35, stepped away from her role at the world’s oldest human rights organization, the Observer reported.
The charity said in a statement to the outlet, ‘After seven years, our patronage from HRH Princess Eugenie of York has come to an end. We thank the Princess very much for her support for Anti-Slavery International. We hope that she continues to work to end slavery for good and deliver freedom for everyone’.”
