Today, reacting to Iran’s efforts to close the vital waterways of the Strait of Hormuz, US President Donald J. Trump urged the shipping companies to ‘show some guts’ and defy the mullahs’ prohibition.
And that’s exactly what apparently happened to a Greek-operated ship holding a million barrels of Saudi crude.
Apparently, the tanker sailed through the Strait of Hormuz in recent days, as one of the first large vessels to leave the Persian Gulf.

Bloomberg reported:
“The Shenlong tanker, which is operated by Greece’s Dynacom Tankers Management Ltd., switched off its transponder in the Persian Gulf on March 4 while sailing toward Hormuz and began signaling near India’s coastline on Monday morning, according to ship-tracking data compiled by Bloomberg.
Traders have been closely looking for any sign that ship traffic is beginning to move through Hormuz. US Energy Secretary Chris Wright said in an interview with Fox News over the weekend that a tanker had made the journey through.”

“The Shenlong Suezmax, with a capacity of 1 million barrels, is carrying Saudi Arabian crude loaded at the port of Ras Tanura and is listing its destination as the Indian port of Mumbai, according to analysis from maritime data platforms Kpler, Lloyd’s List Intelligence, and MarineTraffic.
[…] Hundreds of ships remain anchored on both sides of the waterway as oil and shipping markets watch for any sign that sailings ⁠might pick up through the narrow corridor, which handles a large share of global crude flows.
A senior official with Iran’s Revolutionary Guards has said the ​strait is closed and Iran will fire on any ship trying to pass, Iranian media reported last week.”

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has confirmed that Dr. Vinay Prasad is leaving the agency for the second time in less than a year.
Prasad, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), will depart at the end of April, with no successor named yet.
Prasad was appointed in 2025 to lead the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER), the division responsible for regulating vaccines, blood products, and gene therapies.
Prasad’s first departure came in July 2025, when he abruptly resigned after only a few months in the role following an explosive exposé led by investigative journalist Laura Loomer.
The Gateway Pundit reported last year that Loomer publicly exposed Prasad’s shocking anti-Trump rhetoric, far-left allegiances, and dangerous abuse of regulatory power.

The time to act is NOW—Prasad must be REMOVED before he destroys Trump’s vision for a healthier America!”
According to Loomer:
In 2021, Prasad described himself as a “political liberal, closest to Elizabeth Warren” and a “Sanders/Warren liberal,” proudly embracing a progressive identity. He voted for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 Democratic primary, and FEC records reveal he donated to Sanders’ campaign, signaling his support for radical left-wing policies.
In 2020, Prasad declared on X that he wanted “Biden to win more than anything” and confirmed he voted against Trump, solidifying his opposition to the President.
Prasad’s policy positions are a direct affront to the conservative principles underpinning Trump’s agenda. He advocates for universal basic income, student loan forgiveness, open borders, and Roe v. Wade abortion standards. He supports a 50% marginal tax rate for high earners, a wealth tax, single-payer healthcare, universally funded pre-K and community college, and expansive parental leave policies.

Prasad’s disdain for Trump is personal and vitriolic. He has called the President “perhaps the worst president in the history of the Republic.” Prasad has claimed that Trump disagreed with him “on probably 90% of issues.” He compared Trump’s family separation immigration policy to a “human rights violation” worthy of the International Criminal Court. Prasad mocked his election fraud claims as “laughable and pathetic,” and called January 6 “a terrible day.” Further, he even attacked Trump University as a “scam.” Prasad consistently refers to the President as “orange man.” This is a derogatory jab used by the radical Left to attack Trump over his tan skin. Prasad has a strong admiration for Dr. Anthony Fauci, whom he dubbed “St. Anthony of Fauci” with “profound reverence.” Thisfurther highlights his alignment with figures Trump has criticized, particularly over the COVID-19 response.
Since assuming control of CBER at the FDA, Prasad has amassed unprecedented power. He holds three key FDA roles: Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Director of CBER. Reports suggest he is under consideration to lead the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER). This could make him more influential than FDA Commissioner Marty Makary. Moreover, this consolidation of authority in the hands of a Trump antagonist and avowed Leftist is a recipe for disaster. Prasad’s actions further demonstrate a clear intent to undermine President Trump’s vision.

The pressure became too much, and Prasad quietly stepped down from his roles as Chief Medical Officer, Chief Scientific Officer, and Director of the Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER).
But the exit was short-lived.
After strong support from FDA leadership and health officials, Prasad returned to the agency less than two weeks later, resuming his role overseeing vaccines and advanced biologic treatments.
Now Prasad is leaving again, this time after months of escalating disputes with biotech companies and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

FDA Commissioner Marty Makary announced the news to FDA staff in an email late Friday, saying Prasad would depart at the end of April. Makary said Prasad would return to his academic job at the University of California, San Francisco.

In the last month, Prasad has come under fire from pharmaceutical executives, investors, members of Congress and other critics for multiple decisions at the agency.
First, Prasad initially refused to allow the FDA to review a highly anticipated flu vaccine from drugmaker Moderna made with mRNA technology. The rejection of the application, highly unusual for the FDA, prompted Moderna to go public with Prasad’s decision and vow to formally challenge it.
A week after the rejection became public, the FDA reversed course and said it would accept the shot for review after all, pending an additional study from Moderna.
Then, in the past week, the FDA engaged in a highly unusual public fight with a small drug company developing an experimental treatment for Huntington’s Disease, a fatal condition that affects about 40,000 people in the U.S.
The company, UniQure, said Monday that the FDA was demanding a new trial of its gene therapy that would involve performing a sham surgery on some of the patients in the trial. The company’s gene therapy is injected directly into the brain during a surgical procedure.
Company executives said the request for a sham-controlled trial contradicted previous FDA guidance and raised ethical concerns for patients.

Three B-52 Stratofortress bombers, capable of carrying 70,000 lbs of munitions, landed in the UK on Monday amid the Pentagon’s plans to expand military strikes in Iran. 
The war with Iran kicked off its second week on Saturday after US and Israeli forces launched attacks that took out Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and dozens of senior Iranian officials.
Now the US is expanding air operations.

During a press conference last Wednesday, War Secretary Pete Hegseth said the B-52s would be among the airpower used “controlling the skies, picking targets,” and bringing “death and destruction from the sky all day long.”
“As President Trump said, more and larger waves are coming. We are just getting started. We are accelerating, not decelerating,” he added.
“Now with complete control of the skies, we will be using 500-pound, 1,000-pound, and 2,000-pound GPS and laser-guided precision gravity bombs, of which we have a nearly unlimited stockpile.”
General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, further told reporters that US forces will now “expand inland, striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory and creating additional freedom of maneuver for US forces.”

We will now begin to expand inland, striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory, and creating additional freedom of maneuver for US forces. First, over the past several weeks, Admiral Cooper and the CENTCOM team have refined their operational approach to the region. As the Secretary said, this is a point of munitions transition from standoff munitions to stand-in munitions like joint direct attack munitions, which are GPS-aided free-fall weapons and other things like Hellfires, etc. This will allow the joint force to deliver significantly increased precision effects on the target. The throttle is coming up, as the Secretary said, as opposed to ramping down. This will allow us to maintain consistent pressure on the adversary over the coming days, disrupt their launch timelines, and impose cost every day around the clock.

Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who initially refused to grant the US permission to use the UK’s airbases to attack Iran, said the build up at Fairford was necessary to defend the West from Iran’s alleged “scorched-earth strategy.”
Following the start of Operation Epic Fury, the Islamic Republic began a mass retaliation attack across the Middle East, threatening US and European allies.
The US has now deployed B-52s for the first time during the conflict, with the Cold-War era bombers capable of launching nuclear warheads, cruise missiles and other heavy bombs more than 1,500 miles away.
They were first introduced in 1952 and are one of the oldest aircraft designs still operating in the US military.

As war in the Middle East rattles global energy markets and threatens one of the world’s most critical oil routes, Russian President Vladimir Putin is signaling that Moscow stands ready to step back into Europe’s energy market, if European leaders are willing to drop the “political pressure.”
Speaking Monday during a televised meeting with government officials and executives from Russia’s largest energy firms, including Gazprom, Rosneft, and Transneft, Putin said Russia remains prepared to resume large-scale oil and gas cooperation with European buyers under long-term agreements, according to Reuters.
The comments come as global energy markets face growing instability following U.S. and Israeli military strikes against Iran and the potential for disruptions to oil shipments through the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world’s most critical energy chokepoints.
Putin made it clear that Moscow has never closed the door on Europe. Instead, he suggested it was European political decisions, particularly sanctions and energy bans, that cut the continent off from Russian hydrocarbons.
According to the Kremlin, any renewed cooperation must guarantee “sustainability and stability” in trade relations, an apparent reference to the sweeping sanctions and energy restrictions imposed by the European Union after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
“If European companies and European buyers suddenly decide to reorient themselves and provide us with long-term, sustainable cooperation, free from political pressures, free from political pressures, then yes, we’ve never refused it. We’re ready to work with Europeans too. But we need some signals from them that they’re ready and willing to work with us and will ensure this sustainability and stability,” Putin said.

The Russian president noted that the EU intends to introduce additional restrictions on the purchase of Russian hydrocarbons, including liquefied natural gas, starting on April 25, and could even completely ban such supplies in 2027.
In this regard, he indicated that the Russian government has been entrusted with the mission of assessing the feasibility and advisability of suspending energy supplies to the European market.
“Instead of waiting for the door to be slammed in our faces, we must act now, diverting these volumes from the European market to more attractive destinations and, most importantly, strengthening our presence there,” he explained, referring to those markets where there is stable demand and solid long-term relationships.
“Those countries that are forging constructive trade relations with Russia,” Putin summarized, adding that a complete reorganization of the unused Middle Eastern oil supply through the Strait of Hormuz is “unrealistic” because it would require a great deal of time and significant infrastructure investment. The same applies to the liquefied natural gas supply, the restoration of which will take weeks, if not months. “It is impossible to quickly compensate for the lost volumes,” he warned.
In this scenario, the Kremlin occupant expects that the change in the balance between supply and demand for hydrocarbons will undoubtedly lead to a new reality of stable prices, and has therefore pointed out the importance of Russian energy companies “taking advantage of the current situation,” using the additional revenue from exports to reduce their debt.

The Trump Organization signed a deal to construct a skyscraper in Australia that will immediately become the tallest building Down Under.
The 91-story tower, which will cost just over $1 billion to build, will loom over the Gold Coast in the state of Queensland, per a Feb. 23 report from NBC News.
“Australia’s tallest building will be a Trump Tower, right in the middle of Surfers Paradise — it’s great for Queensland tourism, and fantastic for Australia,” Altus Property Group, the company developing the property, said in a statement.

The building will include more than 270 apartments, shops, a beach club, and a pool, as well as a “six-star resort hotel,” per NBC News.
The tower will also come emblazoned with the family name of the current President of the United States.
“It won’t have a Four Seasons or Ritz Carlton brand above the front door, but it will say ‘Trump.’ And that means it is a no-expense-spared, highest-possible-quality building — the best in the world.”
Eric Trump, the son of President Donald Trump and the executive vice president of The Trump Organization, voiced his excitement for the project on social media.
“I am so proud to announce what will soon be the tallest building in Australia — Trump International Hotel & Tower Gold Coast,” he wrote.
“This marks our first venture into Australia — an extraordinary country in every respect — and I couldn’t be more excited to help shape its iconic skyline forever. More to come…”

A description on the Trump Hotels website said the building “redefines beachfront sophistication with world-class amenities, iconic design, and uninterrupted Gold Coast views.”
David Young, the CEO of Altus, said he cold-called Ivanka Trump back in 2007 in the hopes of securing the deal, according to a report from The Independent.
Nearly two decades later, the project has finally come to fruition.
“Importantly, the building is Australian-owned and Australian-built. It is an Altus subsidiary, Altus Resorts Pty Ltd, that makes the decisions on the fit-out, within the Trump design requirements,” Young added.
The developer said the deal was signed on Feb. 14 at Mar-a-Lago.

Oil prices exploded over 17% on Sunday, blasting past the $100 per barrel mark for the first time since the early days of Trump’s decisive strikes against the Iranian regime.

As markets reacted to the latest round of U.S. airstrikes under Operation Epic Fury, the “BIGGEST bombing campaign yet” as Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent revealed just days ago, crude futures surged amid fears of disrupted supplies from the volatile Middle East.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude jumped 16.2% to $102.45, while Brent crude, the international standard, spiked 15.8% to $105.67
According to Google Finance, “Global oil supplies are currently falling approximately 20 million barrels per day short of requirements due to the conflict. Regional producers like Kuwait and Iraq have curtailed output, with Iraqi production reportedly falling by about 70% in key fields as shipping risks escalate.”
This comes hot on the heels of Iran’s desperate attempts to rebuild its shattered missile factories and proxy networks, which our brave forces have been dismantling piece by piece.
On Saturday night, Israel’s public broadcaster KAN reported that the Israeli Air Force struck oil storage depots and refinery facilities in Tehran.
Israeli officials confirmed that the operation focused on fuel depots and energy infrastructure believed to support Iran’s military operations.
After the Tehran refinery was targeted, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it fired missiles at the Haifa refinery in Israel.
But President Donald J. Trump isn’t backing down. In a bold Truth Social post this evening, the Commander-in-Chief dismissed the short-term pain as a necessary step toward crushing the Iranian nuclear threat once and for all.

As TGP reported earlier this week, White House official Jarrod Agen outlined the long-term plan to seize Iran’s massive oil reserves from terrorist hands.
According to Agen, the turmoil currently rattling global energy markets is a short-term cost that will ultimately deliver a strategic victory for the United States and its allies.
“This is a long-term gain because what we want to do is get such massive oil reserves in Iran out of the hands of terrorists,” Agen said.
“What we’re going to experience here in the short term is highly outweighed by the long-term benefit because ultimately, we’re not going to have to worry about these issues in the Strait of Hormuz because we’re going to get all of the oil out of the hands of terrorists.”

Alabama House Republicans advanced a new measure meant to deter church disruptions with substantial prison sentences and fines.
The legislation, filed as House Bill 363, comes weeks after left-wing activists invaded a church service in St. Paul, Minnesota, over one of the pastors’ work with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
House Bill 363 would charge those who similarly interrupt religious services in Alabama with up to 10 years in prison and fines of $15,000 or more, according to a report from the Alabama Reflector.
It passed in the Alabama House on Tuesday with a vote of 75 to 27.
“This bill would provide that if an individual enters upon the premises of a church building to intentionally disrupt a worship service by engaging in a riot, unlawful protest, or disorderly conduct, or otherwise engages in the harassment of any other individual in the worship service, the individual would be guilty of the offense of disruption of a worship service,” the legislation said.
“This bill would also provide that if an individual enters upon church property contiguous to where a church worship service is being held with the intent on obstructing the ingress or egress to the property, and obstructs the ingress or egress to the property, the individual would also be guilty of the offense,” it added.

Alabama State Rep. Greg Barnes, a Republican, defended the bill on the House floor, saying that it “is a religious protection bill that protects all religions, not just churches, synagogues.”
“And that’s a very narrowly tailored, narrowly scoped bill,” he said, per the Alabama Reflector.
But some members of the House Democratic minority contested the bill on the floor.
“I think the absolute worst place that you could take away a person’s right to disagree is in the church. I don’t understand how you say that,” Alabama Democratic State Rep. Sam Jones said in reaction to the bill.
“It seems to me that we think that criminalizing acts change behavior. It doesn’t.”
Alabama State Rep. Chris England, another Democrat, even claimed that Jesus Himself would face prison time under the legislation.
“Under this particular piece of legislation, when Jesus went out there and flipped over some tables, he would have been a Class C felon,” he argued.
The bill protects any “bona fide duly constituted religious society or ecclesiastical body of any sect, order, or denomination,” such as churches, mosques, and synagogues, as well as “other religious real property.”
It will now be considered by the Alabama Senate.
