Ground stops have been implemented at all three major airports in the Washington, DC, area due to what the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) described as a “strong chemical smell at the Potomac TRACON.”
News Nation attributed the ground stop to equipment outages.
The FAA said in a statement,
“The FAA has temporarily stopped traffic at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA), Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI) because of a strong chemical smell at the Potomac TRACON that is impacting some air traffic controllers.”

The Potomac Consolidated TRACON (PCT) in Warrenton, Virginia, “provides air traffic control service to the Baltimore-Washington and the Richmond-Charlottesville Areas,” according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
“PCT controls the airspace over Andrews, BWI, Ronald Reagan, Dulles, Richmond and many other area airports.”
Per ABC 7:

The TRACON facility also serves Richmond International Airport, which is also under a ground stop, according to the FAA.
Philadelphia International Airport was also on a ground delay due to “equipment outages.”

A jury found nine Antifa members guilty of terrorism charges in an attack on an ICE detention center in Texas.
The nine indicted defendants: Cameron Arnold, a/k/a Autunm Hill, Zachary Evetts, Benjamin Song, Savanna Batten, Bradford Morris, a/k/a Meagan Morris, Maricela Rueda, Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, and Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada.
Last 4th of July, nearly a dozen Antifa members dressed in black bloc and body armor descended on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas.
The terrorists fired off explosives, vandalized federal vehicles, and fired shots at police officers.
A police officer was shot in the neck.
The defendants were found guilty on riot charges, providing material support to terrorists, conspiracy to use and carry an explosive, and using and carrying an explosive, three counts of attempted murder of an officer, three counts of discharging a firearm during a violent crime, corruptly concealing a document and conspiracy to conceal documents.
“Today’s verdict shows the FBI remains committed to identifying, locating, and dismantling Antifa and its funding networks across the country,” said FBI Director Kash Patel. “Acts of violence against our law enforcement partners will not be tolerated, and we continue our work to protect communities across the country from domestic terrorism.”
“Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization that has been allowed to flourish in Democrat-led cities — not under President Trump,” said Attorney General Pamela Bondi. “Today’s verdict on terrorism charges will not be the last as the Trump administration systematically dismantles Antifa and finally halts their violence on America’s streets.”
“Nine North Texas Antifa Cell operatives were convicted today by a federal jury in Fort Worth, Texas for their roles in rioting, using weapons and explosives, providing material support to terrorists, obstruction, and attempted murder of an Alvarado police officer and unarmed correctional officers at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center on July 4, 2025, announced United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould,” the DOJ said.
“In a 12-day trial that began on February 23, 2026, jurors heard testimony from more than 45 witnesses and considered over 210 exhibits supporting the charges against nine indicted defendants: Cameron Arnold, a/k/a Autunm Hill, Zachary Evetts, Benjamin Song, Savanna Batten, Bradford Morris, a/k/a Meagan Morris, Maricela Rueda, Elizabeth Soto, Ines Soto, and Daniel Rolando Sanchez-Estrada,” the Justice Department said.
“Seven others, Seth Sikes, Nathan Baumann, Joy Gibson, Susan Kent, Rebecca Morgan, Lynette Sharp, and John Thomas, pled guilty last year to one count of providing material support to terrorists,” the DOJ said.
This is the first-ever federal Antifa terrorism trial in Texas.

Quite the Trump dismissal of Zelensky’s offers.
Now that a much bigger crisis is ongoing in the Middle East, the Ukrainian regime is trying to remain in the spotlight of the world’s media and in the thoughts of world leaders who have, for years, paid for its war effort.
But to do that and manage a losing war at once seems to be too much for Kiev regime leader Volodymyr Zelensky, who has reportedly become more and more aggressive in his criticism of Russia, the Europeans, and, of course, of the US.
As of late, unsurprisingly, Zelensky is decrying Donald J. Trump’s administration decision to temporarily lift sanctions on Russian oil ‘already at sea’.

At the same time that he is super cranky, the Ukrainian embattled leader has been trying to flatter Trump for his operation against Iran, and also offering help with his ‘drone defenses’ against the Iranian Shahed drones.
But the fact is: If their drone defenses were so good, they’d not be begging for Patriot missiles all the time, and also, they would not be in the dark because of Russian combined missile-drone attacks on almost all the power generation facilities.

Now, during an interview on Fox News, Trump made it clear that the U.S. does not need Ukraine’s assistance with the anti-drone defenses.
The Kyiv Independent reported:
“’No, we don’t need (Ukraine’s) help in drone defense’, Trump said in the interview. “We know more about drones than anybody. We have the best drones in the world, actually.”
The comments come as an unexpected rebuff of Kyiv’s offer to share its combat‑tested experience and technology for countering Iranian‑made strike drones with the U.S. and Middle Eastern countries.”

Prior to getting into politics, Texas Democrat James Talarico was a middle school teacher in San Antonio. He apparently used his classroom to push Democrat politics on his young students.
The Democrat senate candidate reportedly had students write ‘Obama memoirs’ and encouraged them to watch the Democrat National Convention on TV.
Talarico uses Christianity to push his far left views, so it’s not much of a stretch to believe he used his position as a teacher to push left wing politics as well.

Facebook posts reviewed by The Daily Wire from Talarico’s teacher page during the 2011 and 2012 school years show the then-sixth-grade language arts instructor incorporating his own political perspectives at Jeremiah Rhodes Middle School in San Antonio.
In a November 13, 2012, post, days after President Barack Obama defeated Republican Mitt Romney, Talarico posted: “Today, we finished writing our Obama memoirs. We’ve been learning about narrative non-fiction writing like memoirs for the past 2 weeks.”
“Students wrote a memoir of Election Night from the point of view of a member of the Obama family. Awesome job, Wildcats!” he added. A photo accompanying the post showed a student essay beneath the word, “Victory!!!!!!”
In another post, Talarico highlighted the student memoirs on a classroom wall alongside images of the Obama family and the Obama campaign logo.
It’s amazing that Democrats nominated this man for a U.S. Senate seat in Texas.

Oops: “Lobstergate” only proved that not one of the on-air geniuses, nor any of their writers or producers, knows a thing about military life.
All the smug fury was based on a news item — from noted military-journalism site TMZ! — about the Defense Department spending $22 million on lobster and ribeye steak in a single month.
If they’d bothered to check the (transparently idiotic!) assumption that all the eats were for the top brass, they’d have learned that a “surf & turf” fete is a longstanding military tradition, a treat for troops headed to a deployment or stuck on an extended tour, with all the gastrointestinal joy that a diet of MREs can deliver.
The people pushing this fake outrage are so ignorant that they don’t even realize that they are the ones who look bad here.
They don’t know it’s a tradition because they don’t know anyone who serves in our military. They are completely out of touch with ordinary Americans.

France tried to bypass the war against Iran, but the conflict found it.
Today, a drone swarm attack by Iranian forces against the Iraqi region of Erbil has targeted not only US troops and military assets, but also British, Italian, and French troops and/or bases.
When it comes to the French grouping, the attack left a deadly mark, with a soldier killed in that attack against the Iraqi Kurdistan base.

“An attack killed a French soldier in Erbil in Iraq’s autonomous Kurdistan region, President Emmanuel Macron said on Friday.
A member of the armed forces ‘died for France during an attack in the Erbil region of Iraq’, Macron posted on X, confirming the first French military death in the Middle East war that began late last month when Israel and the United States struck Iran.”
Arnaud Frion was a Chief Warrant Officer (equivalent to a Sergeant Major), and his death was first announced by President Emmanuel Macron on X.

Today on MSNOW, host Katy Tur tried to connect the Michigan terror attack to Republicans. She was speaking to fellow host Chris Hayes who nodded along and chimed in to support her stupid argument.
The two of them speculate about a supposed antisemitism problem on the right. That’s rich.
Democrats have Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayor’s office, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, some of the most vile antisemites in the country, but MSNOW sees this as a problem for the right. Democrats have a senate candidate in Maine who had a Nazi tattoo!

Senate Democrats on Thursday once again blocked funding for the Department of Homeland Security as Islamic terrorists attack the homeland.
The motion to proceed failed in a 51-46 vote.
Democrat Senator John Fetterman voted with the Republicans to advance the DHS funding bill.
The Hill reported:
Senate Democrats on Thursday defeated a motion to proceed to a House-passed bill to reopen the Department of Homeland Security and end the 27-day shutdown that has hampered the functions of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other critical agencies.
The motion failed by a vote of 51 to 46. Centrist Sen. John Fetterman (Pa.) was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans to advance the funding bill. It needed 60 votes to advance.
It marked the fourth time since Feb. 12 that Democrats have voted to block Homeland Security funding legislation.
The vote capped a day of skirmishes on the Senate floor between Democrats and Republicans on how to break the funding deadlock.
Democrats voted against the Homeland Security appropriations bill because it includes funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), two agencies they say need reforms after immigration agents shot and killed two U.S. citizens in Minneapolis.
On Thursday, there were two separate Islamic terror attacks in the US.
36-year-old Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, who was previously convicted of providing material support for ISIS, opened fire at Old Dominion University on Thursday morning.
One person died, and another was wounded.
According to reports, Jalloh shouted Allahu Akbar as he opened fire.
Later Thursday, a naturalized US citizen from Lebanon attacked a synagogue in Michigan.
41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali rammed his vehicle into Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township and opened fire.
Armed security engaged him, and he was found deceased and badly burned in his vehicle.
The FBI said both attacks are being investigated as terrorism.

Republican Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri on Wednesday announced he is introducing a bill that would ban the abortion pill on the grounds that it is a danger to the women who take it.
“The science is clear: the chemical abortion drug is inherently dangerous to women and prone to abuse. Yet major companies like Danco Laboratories are making billions off it,” the pro-life senator said, according to a news release on Hawley’s website.
He said the bill would not only ban mifepristone, but also “empower women to sue its manufacturers. Congress must act now to protect the health and safety of women.”
Republican Rep. Diana Harshbarger of Tennessee said she would introduce a companion version of the bill in the House.
“Evidence now suggests that the real-world risks to women are far greater than the federal government has acknowledged,” she said in the news release. “That’s why I’m proud to join Senator Hawley in introducing the Safeguarding Women from Chemical Abortion Act, to restore accountability and help ensure that women’s health — not politics — guides federal drug policy.”

The release stated almost 11 percent of women who use the drug have a serious health complication within 45 days.
“Because the drug comes in capsule form and because it is at this juncture almost completely unregulated, it is inherently prone to abuse,” Hawley said, according to WGN-TV in Chicago.
“Over the years, one liberal administration after another, President Obama and then President Biden, removed almost all of the safety protocols around mifepristone such that today it is almost wholly unregulated,” he said. “They did it because of abortion politics. They did it because they wanted to turn mifepristone into the driver of abortion on demand.”
During a Wednesday media event, several women who took mifepristone said the drug multiplied the effects of killing their babies, according to a report about Hawley’s bill published by the World News Group, an explicitly Christian news organization based in Asheville, North Carolina.
One woman quoted in the World New Group’s report said the bleeding she experienced was so intense that she was put on life support.
“I developed a severe infection behind my uterus that went undetected until it became life-threatening. My condition deteriorated so rapidly that I was rushed into the ICU,” she said, according to WGN, noting she had a partial hysterectomy.
“I was [in a] medically induced coma for a month. During this time, I required several blood transfusions,” she said.
Hawley’s website included statements from pro-life leaders praising the bill, noting that mail-order abortion is one reason the United States actually saw an increase in abortions after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade:
“The Biden-era policy that enabled the abortion industry to adopt an ‘Amazon-style’ model—shipping abortion drugs directly to doorsteps across America, even into states where unborn life is protected—has contributed to a dramatic increase in the killing of unborn children following the overturning of Roe v. Wade, rather than the decrease many expected,” said Tony Perkins, president of the Family Research Council.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, said the bill addressed the biggest issue in abortion availability.
“The number 1 factor making abortion America’s top cause of death is mail-order abortion drugs, a dangerous relic of the Covid and Biden era that inexplicably continues to this day. This makes it impossible for states to protect women and children, creating a severe public health crisis,”  Dannenfelser said.
Lila Rose, Founder and President of Live Action, said the bill is overdue.
The abortion pill “has fueled a deadly and deeply inhumane abortion industry that has killed millions of preborn babies and leaves women abandoned to suffer the physical and emotional consequences alone,” she said.
“For years, the abortion lobby has marketed these drugs as safe and easy while concealing the truth: nearly every time a pregnant mother takes the abortion pill, it ends the life of her living human child, and far too many women are left without real medical care when they are hemorrhaging or have a blood infection due to the abortion pill.”
As noted by KMOV-TV in St. Louis, Hawley introduced the bill last year, but it did not pass.
