Berkeley, California- A man set himself on fire at the University of California at Berkeley campus on Wednesday and reportedly injured two bystanders in the process.
A father taking his son on a recruitment visit for UC Berkeley football recorded the episode, which then went viral on social media.
The incident reportedly took place on Sproul Plaza at UC Berkeley shortly before 4:30 p.m.
In the video, bystanders can be seen screaming at the man, who was reportedly suffering from a mental health episode, to get on the ground. Multiple bystanders hit the man with their jackets to try to put out the fire.
One guy even throws his bike at the fiery man. Yet he does not go down.

A man allegedly experiencing a severe mental health episode set himself on fire at the University of California at Berkeley on Wednesday — and a video capturing the distressing incident has been viewed online more than 350,000 times.
Officers with the UC Berkeley Police Department and Berkeley firefighters arrived and got the situation under control, after which the victim was taken to Highland Hospital in Oakland.
The unnamed victim, believed to be in his 20s, suffered second- and third-degree burns over most of his body.
A woman in her 40s who attempted to help the man was hospitalized with minor injuries, while another good Samaritan who also tried to render aid was treated for burns at the scene and released.
Eyewitness Tony Delacruz told the local news outlet Berkeleyside that the man seemed “indifferent” to the fire but was lashing out at bystanders around him.
Rachel Diao, who also witnessed the self-immolation, told the Berkeley Scanner that the man was shouting “Mormon Mafia,” and that he ran from and pushed away those trying to extinguish the flames.
UC Berkeley officials have not said whether the victim was affiliated with the university. The incident is being investigated by the campus police.

Joe Biden, 80, had a cancerous lesion removed from his chest last month, the White House doctor revealed on Friday.
AP reported:
A skin lesion removed from President Joe Biden’s chest last month was a basal cell carcinoma — a common form of skin cancer — his doctor said Friday, adding that no further treatment was required.
Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the White House doctor who has served as Biden’s longtime physician, said “all cancerous tissue was successfully removed” during the president’s routine physical on Feb. 16.
O’Connor said the site of the removal on Biden’s chest has “healed nicely” and the president will continue regular skin screenings as part of his routine health plan.
Basal cells are among the most common and easily treated forms of cancer — especially when caught early. O’Connor said they don’t tend to spread like other cancers, but could grow in size, which is why they are removed.
Last July Biden blurted out he had cancer during remarks in Massachusetts.
Biden struggled to read the teleprompter during his garbled speech and at one point it appeared he announced he has cancer.
“And my mother drove us and rather than us being able to walk, and guess what? The first frost you knew it was happening. You had to put on your windshield wipers to get literally the oil slick off the window,” said Biden.
“That’s why I — and so damn many other people I grew up with — have cancer,” he said.
The White House responded to Biden’s possible gaffe – or casual announcement that he has cancer.

General Michael Flynn is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who was the 24th U.S. National Security Advisor for the first 22 days of the Trump administration. General Flynn, a staunch Trump ally and confidante, was forced to resign in 2017 following screaming reports that he had lied regarding conversations with Sergey Kislyak, a Russian diplomat.  This was while the Democrat Party and highest levels of US intelligence concocted an attempted coup to take down the sitting President based on what they knew was fraudulent accusations that Trump was Vladimir Putin’s stooge.  General Michael Flynn was collateral damage.  They had to remove him to get to Trump.
General Michael Flynn was a huge target of Barack Obama, Democrats, the Deep State, and crooked Judge Sullivan, after he joined with Donald Trump during his 2016 campaign for president.  Obama particularly hated Flynn for pointing out the obvious during congressional testimony, that Antifa was sweeping across Syria-Iraq and Obama had no plan to prevent this.
After he was set up and removed from White House, Flynn was persecuted by lawless Judge Emmet Sullivan in a case that was dropped by the DOJ.  But for months afterward, Judge Sullivan refused to dismiss the case.  For some reason, this crooked leftist judge decided to pursue the charges himself knowing there was nothing there.  President Trump eventually pardoned General Michael Flynn after the system persecuted him and failed him.

The Biden Crime Family is once again back in the news and the DOJ continues to sit on their hands.

The New York Post exclusively revealed that Joe Biden’s ne’er-do-well son Hunter coached Joe’s then-press secretary Kendra Barkoff over how to respond to questions about the board of Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian natural gas company.
These exchanges between Hunter and Barkoff form the basis of the complaint Hunter defied federal law by not registering as a foreign agent.
This also proves once again that Joe always knew about his son’s activities with Burisma.
The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly shown how Joe has profited handsomely from his son’s dealings.

Then-second son Hunter Biden coached then-Vice President Joe Biden’s press secretary on how to respond to media questions about him joining the board of Ukrainian natural gas company Burisma Holdings, emails reviewed by The Post show.
The May 13, 2014, exchanges between Hunter and Kendra Barkoff, which have not been previously reported, form the basis of a complaint sent to the Justice Department on Friday alleging that the Biden scion, now 53, violated federal law by failing to register as a foreign agent.
“In advising the Office of the Vice President how to respond to press inquiries about his appointment, Hunter Biden ‘represent[ed] the interests of [a] foreign principal before any agency or official of the Government of the United States,’” America First Legal Foundation general counsel Gene Hamilton wrote to the assistant attorney general for national security, Matthew Olsen, quoting the relevant statute.
Burisma announced Hunter Biden’s appointment to its board of directors on May 12, 2014. The following day, according to the complaint, Barkoff sent Hunter an email saying: “Thanks for talking to me. [L]et me know who I should refer folks to.”
“What exactly are they asking?” Hunter responded. “For the time being I’d just refer them to my office. FYI I joined the board of Burisma Holdings Ltd. (Burisma.com) an independent/private natural gas producer in Ukraine along with the former president of Poland. I think the press release is on their website.”
Barkoff then forwarded Hunter an email from Max Seddon, then a foreign correspondent at BuzzFeed News.
“Russian state media is loving this press release, supposedly from a Cypriot-held Ukrainian natural gas company, claiming that the Vice President’s son has joined its board of directors,” Seddon wrote, addressing then-National Security Council spokesperson Laura Lucas Magnuson, who had forwarded it to Barkoff.
“The news seems rather odd on its face and, if true, would present a fairly glaring conflict of interest given the VP’s role on Ukraine policy – particularly since the company is controlled by Nikolai Zlochevsky, who was energy minister and deputy NSC chief under [former pro-Moscow Ukrainian President Viktor] Yanukovych,” the reporter added. “Is this true? What exactly is going on here?”
“Interesting,” Hunter wrote back. “Burisma is completely independent of the Ukrainian government with an independent board of directors. [Zlochevsky] served as Minister of Ecology and resigned in 2010. I joined the board as legal adviser and Burisma also engaged the law firm I am of counsel to Boies Schiller Flexner on matters pertaining to corporate governance, transparency, and expansion. Alana Apter former head of Morgan Stanley Europe is chairman of the board.”
In addition to forwarding Seddon’s questions, Barkoff told Hunter: “Let me know who in your office” to refer media to.
“Eric‐ he’s cc’d here,” Hunter answered, referring to one of his business partners, Eric Schwerin — who chimed in: “Kendra, I am around the next few days if you need me.”
“If anything beyond referring questions to my office is required from you or counsel you can contact Heather King at Boise Schiller,” Hunter directed Barkoff, who later sent him the statement her office was putting out to the press.

The Office of Congressional Ethics on Thursday released an update to the investigation into Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.
The Committee said there is “substantial reason to believe” AOC “accepted impermissible associated with her attendance at the Met Gala in 2021” that violated “standards of conduct and federal law.”
AOC was under investigation for accepting an “impermissible gift” to attend the Met Gala.
“Specifically we believe Representative Ocasio-Cortez has violated clause 5 of Rule XXV of the Rules of the House of Representatives (commonly known as the Gift Rule) by accepting admission to the Met Gala, an event whose per seat costs is reported to range from $35,000 to $50,000 without having a permissible exemption to allow the acceptance of the lavish gift,” the American Accountability Foundation wrote last year.
“If Representative Ocasio-Cortez has used campaign funds to pay for this ticket, she has also violated FEC prohibitions on campaign funds being used for entertainment purposes,” they added.
Recall, AOC attended the Met Gala last year and donned a “Tax the Rich” mermaid gown.

Two separate ethics complaints were filed against Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for her appearance at the $30,000 per ticket Met Gala.
AOC threw her staffer under bus and blamed the aide for not paying the “several thousand dollars’ worth of goods and services.”
The congressional aide, who no longer works for AOC, took the blame.
“I think the delay there for me was I didn’t have access to her personal credit card at that moment,” the staffer told House ethics investigators, according to Fox News.
Fox News reported:
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., blamed a member of her staff for not paying the “several thousands of dollars’ worth of goods and services” for her attendance at the 2021 Met Gala.
The House Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE) opened an investigation into whether Ocasio-Cortez violated House rules by improperly accepting gifts at the Met Gala, but the congresswoman claimed she was unaware and proceeded to let a staff member take the blame.
While speaking to investigators, Ocasio-Cortez said that she was unaware of unpaid expenses related to the dress she wore and stylists that helped her get ready for the Met Gala in 2021. “I just never, ever, ever would have allowed that to happen knowing what I have learned,” she said. “But I wasn’t privy to the invoices, wasn’t privy to the ones that had been sent.”
“And it is just a deeply regrettable situation,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “I feel terrible for especially the small businesses that were impacted.”
The Ocasio-Cortez staffer, who reportedly is no longer working for the congresswoman, took responsibility for the unpaid dues.

With vaccination, these systems may be avoided by systemic administration and production of Spike protein within cells. As a result, the pathogenesis of vaccine injury syndromes is believed to be driven by accumulation of Spike protein in cells, tissues, and organs.

Campus Reform shares the disturbing case of a student at the University of South Florida (USF) who was denied access to a group therapy meeting because he is white.
According to the report, the student was unable to attend any of the planned “Understanding Self and Others” group therapy meetings due to conflicts with his schedule.  He reached out to the schools counseling center to inquire about attending a BIPOC ( Black, Indigenous, and people of color) meeting that occurred at a time that worked with is schedule.
Campus Reform reports:
In the email sent to the counseling center, Davis inquired, “I am interested in attending a USO group meeting after completing the pre-group appointment but the only day/time that works for me is Wednesdays during the BIPOC students-only group. I am not a BIPOC student but was wondering if I would still be able to attend?”
“Unfortunately, we do need to keep this space specific to BIPOC folks … Hopefully you’ll be able to catch another one either during Winter break and/or next semester,” the USF Counseling Center responded to Davis.
After receiving this response, Davis filed a complaint with USF’S Office of Compliance & Ethics on Oct. 5. It was not until Feb. 8 of this year, however, that Davis received a response.
According to Davis, during an Oct. 18 Microsoft Teams information-gathering meeting regarding this issue, Equal Opportunity Officer Kenneth Thomas “was accusatory” and “asked me if I even knew what BIPOC meant and if I understood the importance of those groups having their own discussion.”
“He did not seem concerned about my complaint and was more worried about the University’s ability to continue these groups,” Davis relayed.
When the Office finally issued their official decision on Feb. 8, it read, “The Counseling Center will not prohibit any category of student [from] participating in specialized counseling groups unless specific exception, or a medical mandate is identified that may support exclusivity.”
Conservative activist Christopher Rufo recently exposed the extent that USF’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is pushing DEI and Critical Race Theory on its campus.
Rufo shared documents revealing that, “The University of South Florida has adopted a radical ‘diversity, equity, and inclusion’ (DEI) program that claims America is a force for ‘white supremacy,’ encourages students to attend racially segregated counseling programs to address their ‘privilege’ and ‘oppression,’ and promotes a variety of left-wing causes, including ‘reparations,’ ‘defund the police,’ and ‘prison abolition.’”

A man with a prior arrest was charged with killing a Chicago police officer in front of children this week.
18-year-old Steven Montano gunned down 32-year-old Officer Andres Vasquez-Lasso Wednesday afternoon in front of children playing at a school nearby.
Officer Vasquez-Lasso was responding to a domestic violence report Wednesday when he saw Montano chasing a woman near an elementary school.
The police officer was shot several times and died at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Fox Chicago reported.
Montano was shot in the head and is currently hospitalized.
Montano had a prior arrest that was a dropped misdemeanor charge, according to Fox News.
The officer is survived by his wife and young daughter.

A Chicago police officer who died after a shootout with a suspect was killed in front of children playing at a school.
Officer Andres Vasquez-Lasso, 32, was shot several times as he chased an armed suspect Wednesday near Sawyer Elementary School, FOX Chicago reported.
“There were a lot of kids because it happened in front of the school,” a woman, who did not want to be named for her safety, told the news outlet. “And they go there to play. And we thought it was safe, so we would go and let them play there. But now it’s changed.”
She said her 10-year-old sister was playing with other kids when they saw the suspect pull a gun on Vazquez-Lasso. They heard gunfire and “ran as quickly as possible just to get to safety,” the woman said.
The incident began around 4:45 p.m. when two police cars responded to a domestic-related call in the 5200 block of South Spaulding Avenue. A caller said a suspect was chasing a female with a gun, Police Superintendent David O. Brown told reporters.
When officers arrived, one officer knocked on the door of where the call originated. A second officer engaged with the suspect and a chase ensued where gunfire was exchanged.
Vazquez-Lasso returned fire and shot the 18-year-old suspect in the head. The suspect remains in critical condition, police said Wednesday. The officer was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center, where he died.
