The two Americans who killed in Matamoros, Mexico after being kidnapped at gunpoint during a cartel gang shootout have been identified as Shaeed Woodard and Zindell Brown.
CNN was the first to confirm the news.
The two surviving Americans are Latavia “Tay” McGee and Eric James. They have returned to the United States and are being treated in a Texas hospital.
Williams was shot in the leg while McGee is unharmed.
As previously reported, the four American citizens were assaulted, shot at, and kidnapped after crossing the border into Matamoros, Mexico on Friday.
Unidentified gunmen fired upon the passengers in the vehicle. All four Americans were placed in a vehicle and taken from the scene by armed men, according to the FBI.
A relative of one of the Americans said Monday that they had traveled together from South Carolina so one of them could get a tummy tuck from doctor in Matamoros. McGee was later identified as the individual in question.
US law enforcement played no role in searching for the missing Americans on the ground in Mexico according to Américo Villarreal, the governor of Tamaulipas.
Villareal said the two dead Americans will be turned over to American authorities following forensic work at the Matamoros morgue in the coming hours.

The two Americans who authorities say were kidnapped in Mexico and found dead have been identified as Shaeed Woodard and Zindell Brown, a US official familiar with the ongoing investigation tells CNN.
The two survivors have been identified as Latavia Washington McGee and Eric Williams, according to the source. The pair was taken to a Texas hospital for treatment and observation.
The Americans’ families have been notified, the official indicated.
The Mexican government said at a press conference that Washington McGee was found uninjured and Williams suffered a bullet wound to the leg.
United States law enforcement was not involved on the ground in Mexico during the search for missing Americans, the governor of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, Américo Villarreal, said. Tamaulipas is where the kidnapping took place.
Mexican officials displayed a timeline of the search for the Americans, including photos of the cars believed to be used by the kidnappers, before they were found Tuesday morning.
Mexico’s Secretary of Security Rosa Icela Rodríguez said authorities in Mexico have been in constant communication with the US ambassador and other US officials since Sunday.

Democrat Senator Joe Manchin on Tuesday said he will vote against Gigi Sohn for Democrat Commissioner of the FCC because she is a toxic, partisan hack.
“Especially now, the FCC must remain above the toxic partisanship that Americans are sick and tired of, and Ms. Sohn has clearly shown she is not the person to do that,” Manchin said in a statement. “For those reasons, I cannot support her nomination to the FCC, and I urge the Biden administration to put forth a nominee who can bring us together, not drive us apart.”

Toxic RINO Mitch McConnell was asked if it was a “mistake” for Tucker Carlson to release the January 6 footage.
Mitch McConnell lashed out at Speaker McCarthy for giving Tucker Carlson access to the footage.
McConnell also said it was a “mistake” for Tucker Carlson to show the footage.
“It was a mistake in my view for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” McConnell said.
American reporters are now being attacked for daring to show the American public what actually happened on January 6.

Former NBA star and now sports analyst J.J. Redick recently called out his ESPN colleague for race-baiting.
During a recent airing of the ESPN sports talk show First Take, Redick slammed former NBA champion and now ESPN analyst, Kendrick Perkins for claiming NBA MVP voters have a racial bias when it comes to black basketball players.
Perkins previously claimed on First Take that if Denver Nuggets’ Center Nikola Jokic wins the MVP again it’s because he’s white.
In response to Perkin’s previous comments Redick stated, “What we’ve just witnessed is the problem with this show where we create narratives that do not exist in reality. The implication, what you are implying, that the white voters are that vote on NBA are racist. ”
As Redick was talking Perkin’s would close his eyes and look up and start speaking over Redick.

Violence erupted on the streets of Paris today as thousands took to the streets across France to protest against pension reforms.
Riot police fought running battles with demonstrators in the capital city on a so-called Black Tuesday of industrial action across the country.
The worst trouble was close to the Port Royal metro station, where hundreds of riot police used tear gas and baton charges. As projectiles rained down on them, bins were set on fire and bus stops destroyed by so-called Black Bloc anarchists.
Big crowds also took to the streets in Marseille, Nice and other cities, and trouble was also reported in other major cities including Lyon, Nantes, and Rennes.
A Parisian police spokesperson said ‘radical agitators’ had joined the crowds and accused them of ‘attacking police whenever they can’. ‘A protest march is being heavily policed, and everything is being done to restore law and order,’ he added.

Democratic lawmakers in Maryland are attempting to pass a bill to prevent criminals under 25 from being convicted of felony murder.
In the state of Maryland, “Felony murder occurs when someone is killed while a felony crime, like robbery, is being committed.’
House Bill 1180 , also called the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, would ultimately prevent anyone under 25 from being charged with felony murder.

The new bill was introduced by Democratic Delegate Charlotte Cruchfield.
Cruchfield’s reasoning behind the new bill is that a person’s frontal lobes are not fully developed until the age of 25.
Republicans, however, are not on board with the idea of murderers getting off the hook.
Per Fox 45 Baltimore:
However, opponents of HB 1180, like Republican Delegate Susan McComas say Democrats are only using mental capacity when it comes to soft on crime policies.
“Proponents of the bill say that the human brain is not fully formed in the frontal lobes until age 25. But yet, we’re doing other things in the general assembly, letting children vote earlier and earlier, letting them get hormone inducing drugs to change their sex,” said McComas.
