The Secret Service has reported a man with a gun has been arrested after he allegedly attempted to enter the grounds of the Vice President’s residence which is located on the grounds of the United States Naval Observatory.
NBC 4 Washington broke the story and reported the man had the authorization to be at the Vice President’s residence.
As the man made his way to the checkpoint he told Secret Service agents at checkpoint he had a gun in his car which resulted in agents checking his car.
Agents would discover his gun was improperly registered and the man was arrested for having an unregistered firearm and for carrying a pistol in a restricted area.
As of now authorities have yet to release the identity of the man.

The U.S. Secret Service arrested a man with a gun as he attempted to enter the grounds of the vice president’s residence in Northwest D.C.
The man, who had authorization to be there, reported he had a gun in his car at a vehicle checkpoint, the Secret Service said.
The gun turned out to be improperly registered.
The man was arrested for unregistered firearm, unregistered ammo, carrying a pistol without a license and carrying a pistol in a prohibited area.

The “So-Called Delegate”

Prior to yesterday, some may have been unaware that the U.S. Virgin Islands were represented in Congress.  If you weren’t paying attention to that detail when Stacey Plaskett argued as the manager of the second Trump Impeachment, you now know the incredibly rude Brooklyn native represents 120,000 individuals living in the offshore territory.  But the “so called delegate” (Wikipedia’s words, not mine) is not even an island native.  She’s a carpetbagging New York elitist and a condescending, non-voting member of Congress who needs a lesson in manners.
On March 9, 2023, Jim Jordan chaired the second hearing on the Weaponization of the Federal Government at which journalists, U.S. Citizens and Congressional constituents Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger gave testimony regarding their research into the Twitter Files.  Taibbi and Shellenbeger are self-described Democrat voters and were in attendance at their own expense to assist Congress in whatever finding they will ultimately arrive at.  The condescension and outright disdain displayed by Plaskett and her Democrat colleagues was so brazen, so disgraceful, and so far removed from what the people in Congress are intended to do, it gives us good reason to demand their resignation.
While resignation for being rude may not be appropriate, in this case, we have members who do not understand the most basic aspects of due process, the U.S. Constitution or even common decency.  At the March 9 hearing, Plaskett demonstrated shocking contempt for each of us and our constitutional rights when she lambasted House Speaker McCarthy for revealing to the public exculpatory evidence that exonerates January 6 defendants and provides stunning insight into that day’s historic events.  Plaskett characterized the revelations as “an effort to rewrite what happened on January 6” ignoring the irony of the likely to be EMMY nominated January 6th Committee Mini-Series.
Plaskett’s delusions of grandeur also cause her to believe she chairs Mr. Jordan’s committee.  When Congressman Mike Johnson of Louisiana’s fourth district moved the Chairman to strike inappropriate insults within Plaskett’s opening statement, she inappropriately injected “I’m not striking down that”.  The boldly offensive representative proceeded to speak over her collogues and conduct herself as one might during a 3 am altercation at Waffle House minus the chair throwing.

Mere arrogance is not where it ends with the energetic Congressional Brooklynite.  Upon being appointed ranking member of the Select Subcommittee, Plaskett declared that she would lead the Democrat’s “truth squad” within the committee.  This term appears to describe the categorical dismissal of fact-based allegations as “conspiracy theories” and assists Democrats in avoiding the substance of well-founded claims.  Despite her bold rhetoric, Plaskett has focused on complaining about the committee rather than participating in any meaningful way.  She is a prolific purveyor of falsehoods and herself an honorary member of the Censorship Industrial Complex described by Dr. Shellenberger.
Plaskett has not addressed fundament legal arguments raised about the FBI interfering in things like school board parental complaints.  In the previous hearing, Chairman Jordan raised the good point that state and local law enforcement are in place to deal with local issues. The FBI should not be involving itself in this and numerous other matters.  Plaskett does not and will not address the substance of such valid arguments.  Instead, she merely dismisses the FBI Schoolboard intimidation and other similarly troubling abuses of government power as “nonsense”.
The deeply dishonest Plaskett faced a short lived mini scandal in 2019 when she initially refused to address campaign contributions from none other than Jeffrey “didn’t kill himself” Epstein.  After public outcry, Plaskett disingenuously stated “In light of new information and allegations that have been made [I] have decided to make contributions to Virgin Islands organizations that work with women and children in the amount of his previous contributions.”  Plaskett’s statement did not cite any specific “new information”.  Notably, this all transpired eleven years after Epstein was convicted of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18.  Apparently, that was ok with Plaskett.
Stacey Plaskett is a dangerous and malicious liar.  Her hypocritical rhetoric calls for truth, justice, and equality while she actually pursues her own partisan political agendas and spreads Democrat Disinformation to distort the perception of the American public.  When referring to the BLM riots, Plaskett said “This summer things happened that were violent, but there were also things that gave some of us Black women great comfort.”  She glossed over the countless black men and women who were killed or injured during that harrowing summer, but thinks a guy in a fur bikini and water buffalo helmet being slowly escorted around the Capitol by cops is a dangerous terrorist who should be jailed for years.

Stacey Plaskett is a disgrace to Congress, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the entire United States.  If she has any integrity at all she will issue a formal apology to both Matt Taibbi and Michael Shellenberger for rudely and publicly insulting them.  These two men are patriotic and responsible journalists. They are simply doing their job, serving the public interest, and going where the facts lead them irrespective of their personal political beliefs.  By contrast Plaskett is self-aggrandizing hack. She is a mean, condescending person, and stain on Congress.  The portrait of the late John Conyers looked down upon her performance with shame yesterday.  I remain hopeful that Jim Jordan and other effective members of Congress can cut through the lies and restore our once great Constitutional Republic.

One of the bizarre trends we’ve witnessed in recent years is biological males who have declared themselves to be female, competing in and dominating women’s sports.
At the high school and college level, this is an even more serious issue because scholarships and awards are at play.
What are girls supposed to do if they want to attend college on a sports scholarship and they have no chance because a biological male wins every competition?
House Republicans are taking up an effort to stop this.

House Republicans are advancing legislation which would prevent biological males from competing in female sports as well as ensure parental rights in education.
The Education and Workforce Committee this week advanced two bills — H.R. 5, the Parents Bill of Rights Act, as well as H.R.734 – Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023 — to the House floor. The first bill, H.R. 5, aims to “ensure the rights of parents are honored and protected in the Nation’s public schools.”
The bill itself, unveiled by Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and House Republicans earlier this month, lists several parental rights, including the right to review their child’s school curriculum; the right to “know if the State alters the State’s challenging State academic standards; the right to see a list of the books and other reading materials in the library of their child’s school; the right to see the school’s budget and expenditures; and more.
“It doesn’t matter [what] the color of your skin [is] or your wealth, when you have a child that is the most important thing in your life… one thing we know in this country, education is the great equalizer. We want to parents to feel empowered and that’s what we’re doing here,” said McCarthy said at the time.
The committee also advanced H.R.734 – Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2023, which specifically amends the Education Amendments of 1972 “to provide that for purposes of determining compliance with title IX of such Act in athletics, sex shall be recognized based solely on a person’s reproductive biology and genetics at birth,” per the bill.
For most people, this just seems like a matter of common sense.

NYPD responded to a Silicon Valley Bank branch in Manhattan Friday morning after investors showed up to try to pull money out of their accounts.
Silicon Valley Bank on Friday was shut down by regulators in the biggest bank failure since the 2008 liquidity crisis.
Silicon Valley Bank reportedly holds $173 billion in deposits.
The Fed interest rate is at 4.57% and $117 billion of Silicon Valley Bank securities are yielding only 1.56-1.66% – this is causing a run on the bank.
California regulators shut down the bank and the FDIC took over.

A group of tech investors showed up to the Manhattan branch in New York on Friday morning to pull out their cash.
Journalist Eric Newcomer said he spoke to some of the investors who pulled money out of Silicon Valley Bank.
According to Newcomer, some startups who are contractually obligated to keep their money with SVB, breached their covenants and pulled the money out anyway.
“After all, possession is nine-tenths of the law.” Newcomer wrote in a Substack.
“I spoke to a major investor who said that about ten of his portfolio companies had pulled out about $1.5 billion collectively from Silicon Valley Bank. The companies put in their requests around 6 p.m. Eastern Time Thursday and got their money this morning.” he wrote.
Dor Levi, a former Lyft executive, was one of the investors who showed up to the Manhattan branch to pull his money out.
NYPD showed up at 9:20 am after building management threatened to call the police, according to text messages Newcomer received.

Philadelphia police have arrested six children in a mob beating on a woman near City Hall on February 23 that left the victim unconscious with a broken facial bone and needing stitches. The children, a mix of boys and girls, range in age from 11 to 14 years old.
Police issued a press release and composite photo of the suspects on Tuesday while seeking the public’s help in identifying the attackers:

Police followed up on Thursday seeking help IDing one suspect, “7 of the 8 individuals wanted for this assault have been ID’d, and charges have been approved by @philadao. We are currently working to take 7 juvenile suspects into custody, and request the public’s assistance in identifying the remaining suspect. Call 215-686-TIPS w/ info.”

On February 23, 2023, at approximately 7:12pm, the victim, a 33-year-old female, was at 15th and Chestnut Street when several people in a group assaulted her knocking her to the ground. The suspects then continued to punch and stomp the victim rendering her unconscious. The victim suffered injuries to her head, face and body and was transported to Jefferson Hospital for her injuries.

The DA’s office identified the children arrested by race and sex, three Black males and three Black females, and the charges: Criminal conspiracy, Aggravated Assault, Robbery, Theft by Unlawful Taking, Theft RSP (Receiving Stolen Property), Simple Assault and REAP (Recklessly Endangering Another Person).
The victim’s father described her injuries in an interview with WTFX (excerpt):
The victim, a 34-year-old woman who lives nearby, was on her way to a hair appointment when she was jumped by a group of eight young people.
“Someone tapped her on the shoulder, she turned around, and they smacked her on the head, she went down and her head was stomped on,” the victim’s father, Dr. William Corse, told FOX 29.
Police say the group continued to punch and stomp on the victim until she became unconscious, then left her injured on the sidewalk.
Dr. Corse, a longtime Chester County doctor, said his daughter suffered a broken orbital bone, widespread bruising, and required stitches.
The victim, who asked to remain anonymous, spoke to WPVI-TV (excerpt):
“For eight kids to completely just take away any sort of comfort that I feel walking down the street, it just makes me sick,” the victim said in an interview with Action News.
…”I just want everyone to be really cautious, like walking around, which shouldn’t happen. It shouldn’t have to be like that,” she said.
…The woman said while nothing was physically taken from her, her peace of mind has been stolen.
“It was, like, not even fully dark yet and there was tons of people around,” the woman said. “They just kept walking, like nobody stopped until I was, I guess, unconscious, which I don’t remember.”
She said she has a message for her attackers.
“This doesn’t have to be your life. I’m completely about second chances but that shouldn’t be something that you feel okay doing and high-fiving your friends afterward. You can change, and you can do something good, but it doesn’t have to be like this.”

Energy expert Alex Epstein testified before the Congressional Strategic Petroleum Reserve hearing this week on Capitol Hill.
As the hearing was starting Democrat Squad member Cori Bush accused Alex Epstein of being a racist for his views supporting the Western tradition of individual rights and capitalism. She was referencing an article he wrote in college in 2002 for her racist attack on Epstein.
Alex Epstein immediately shot back at Bush when he was given the floor and it was delicious.
If Cori Bush had the intellectual heft to understand his arguments she would have been embarrassed.
 Alex Epstein:  Thanks for giving a moment to address a truly despicable and false attack on me claiming anything I’ve ever said is white supremacist and then try to imply that somehow applies today,” Epstein said. “What I argued for my entire adult life is that Western culture is superior in the sense that it promotes individualism and freedom. And I have fought my entire life for freedom around the world including in Africa, including in Asia, including in India.”
“There are different places around the world that are in many ways inferior,” Epstein continued. “They have female genital mutilation, they have slavery. These are not as good as not mutilating females’ gentiles and not enslaving people. So I make no apology. The idea that this is associated with skin color is despicable and racist. Skin color has nothing to do with ideas. Where you came from geographically is irrelevant. What’s relevant is what’s true. That was an insane diversion from the truth.”

Soft, woke crime policies resulted in the escape of a dangerous inmate in Oregon from the Washington County Courthouse on February 27.
The suspect, 28-year-old Ed Villalobos, Jr., has been charged second-degree murder and multiple other felony charges. He also stands accused of two counts of first-degree burglary, unlawful use of a weapon, reckless driving, and reckless endangerment, according to Law and Crime.
Police released courthouse surveillance video showing the alarming escape on Thursday.
The reason he was able to abscond to begin with is because Oregon has a law requiring suspects to be unshackled in front of a jury. The reason for this dangerous, politically-correct law is because Oregon politicians think juries could be automatically biased against shackled defendants.
The security cameras show two police officers walking Villalobos into the courthouse. Once there, the officers unshackle him.
After his restraints are removed, the suspect darts out of the courtroom and down the hallway. He eventually exits the courthouse via a staff-only entrance of the courthouse according to the New York Post.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office released a statement confirming the woke state law was the reason Villalobos was freed to begin with:
Per Oregon law, the deputies removed all restraints from Villalobos during the jury selection process. At around 11 a.m., the court took a break, and restraints were placed back on Villalobos. When the break ended, deputies again removed all restraints from Villalobos, as directed by Oregon Law.
Police arrested Villalobos two hours later in a Hillsboro apartment two hours later. According to the sheriff’s office, a neighbor called 911 and said they heard someone trying to break in.
The cops found Villalobos hiding under a blanket inside an empty apartment around 1:45 P.M.
Villalobos was the exact opposite of a model inmate before his escape as well. Court records show he has charges for unlawful possession of a weapon by an inmate and distributing contraband.
According to the press release by the Washington County Sheriff’s statement, a jury indicted Villalobos on two additional counts of first-degree burglary and one count of second-degree escape.
Villalobos’s trial for the week of February 27 has been cancelled. It is now scheduled for the end of September.

A professor at University of California-Davis, Josh Clover, is calling for an upcoming Turning Point USA event to be cancelled and makes the troubling suggestion that it is time to “teach Charlie Kirk a lesson.”
This from a professor on a campus that saw violent thugs shut down a Milo Yiannopoulos’ speech on campus in 2017.
Clover penned an opinion piece for The California Aggie.
In the self-indulgent screed, Clover writes, “The Great Replacement Bro is coming here to recruit on March 14, on behalf of an organization openly hostile to education as it exists, and hostile to UC Davis education in specific. There is no moral defense for this. And the hand-wringing legalistic requirement… doesn’t exist. It is worth recalling that confronting Yiannopoulos and Spencer would, it was widely said at the time, play right into their hands, granting them free publicity, free clicks. We know now that the ethical and uncompromising decision to chase them off campus was instead part of a sequence that effectively ended the political careers of both. History is educational that way. And this is a university after all. Perhaps it is time to teach Charlie Kirk a lesson.”

And while he wrings his hands and falsely labels Kirk, Professor Watch List reports on Clover’s very troubling public comments.
Joshua Clover is a professor of English at the University of California, Davis, and specializes in “critical theory, Marxism, political theory, political economy, poetry, and poetics.”
A signatory to the US Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel, Clover has compared Israel to Nazi Germany and described it as an “eliminationist ethnostate.” A self-described communist, Clover has cited his world view as justification for the destruction of Israel as a state.
I hope it will be uncontroversial if I say that Israel should be ended.
On a number of accusations, Clover has openly called for violence against police officers. In 2020, he praised rioters for burning police stations, stating that law enforcement’s role is to protect private property and is, therefore “fundamentally anti-black.”
“…the police role in making sure property stays property is fundamentally anti-black, fundamentally white supremacist, and the same time that it’s fundamentally in defense of capital.” 
“Ten days ago, there were 330 million Americans who did not know a single thing; they didn’t know that you could sack a police station…People recognize the police are the source of  their unfreedom, and they fight back against them.” 
Clover was condemned after past tweets and statements in a 2015 San Francisco Weekly interview advocating for the murder of police officers.

The Gateway Pundit reported on a now-deleted Facebook post from The Ethnic and Cultural Affairs Commission at the UC-Davis about slain police officer Natalie Corona that claimed that Corona was “racist” for posing with a Blue Lives Matter flag.
Students on the campus blocked a campus walkway with arms linked chanting, “From Davis to Greece, F*ck the police!“ After they were doused with pepper spray, they predictably whined about the police tactics and the MSM adoringly covered the incident. But the students agreed to be pepper sprayed.
Just more leftist theater.

Today, almost a month after the fatal shooting of three Michigan State students in Lansing, Michigan and a few days after radical hard-left Democrats pass extreme gun-grabbing bills in response, the public is finally allowed to read the crazed shooter’s final thoughts. Anthony McRae’s note that was in his pocket after shooting himself when confronted by police in Lansing, Michigan strongly goes against the official mainstream narrative about the event.

McRae had been arrested years prior on a gun charge, but the charge was pled down to a misdemeanor because, as the Soros-prosecutor Caroline Siemon has since admitted, she didn’t want to put a black man in prison. Had he been prosecuted he would not have been legally allowed to own a gun under current law. As reported by the Gateway Pundit, Anthony McRae was a left-wing progressive Democrat.
If it weren’t for left-wing prosecutors and dangerous left-wing criminal justice policies, the students at Michigan State would be alive today.
The Democrat Michigan legislature is busy banning guns because of what Democrat McRae did. McRae used a 9mm handgun, so Democrats are busy banning the sale of shotguns. Democrats are criminalizing mere gun ownership, even though McRae’s known and reported reckless and dangerous discharge within city limits was not pursued or investigated by ineffective local Lansing police.

The left-wing Michigan media is in damage control mode.
The Detroit Free-Press minimizes and ignores the racial and sexual frustrations of the killer in this article.
The Detroit News expresses sympathy for McRae in their reporting by highlighting how much of a loner he felt, once again minimizing the racial motive for the attack and his self-confessed sexual issues.
Fox 2 Detroit focuses on the shooter’s false claims of being part of a wider team that were going to commit terror across the country. Fox, along with other outlets, minimizes the shooter’s confessed racial motivations.
Big tech, along with law enforcement, have been notorious for deleting the social media profiles of left-wing mass shooters, as well as minimizing their stated reasons for committing their atrocities. Nothing in these notes needs to be redacted, suppressed, or delayed a month but it was very useful for the militant left in advancing their anti-gun narrative about the Michigan State shooting without having to contend with the actual facts of the shooting. When the facts of a mass shooting contrast with the left-wing agenda, corrupt law enforcement just suppresses the inconvenient facts.
