As The Gateway Pundit reported on Friday, Silicon Valley Bank was closed by the FDIC due to the bank losing over 60% of its value after the company disclosed major losses from security sales.
Many political pundits and investors have called for lawmakers to bailout out the failed bank.
Those advocating for bailouts have shied away from telling the public that SVB employees and affiliates voted in the leaders responsible for the current economic crisis.
Open Secret’s data reveals in the 2020 election cycle Silicon Valley Bank employees and affiliates donated over $188,000 dollars to political candidates.
Over 90% of the donations which amounted to $173,434 went to Democratic candidates whereas  7.2% or $13,763  went towards Republican candidates.
Joe Biden received the most donations with $66,748, followed by the DNC Service Corps and Pete Buttigieg.
Other notable names and organizations that benefitted from Silicon Valley Bank employees in the 2020 election cycle were the Lincoln Project, Bernie Sanders Kamala Harris, and Raphael Warnock

Republicans did see some donations from Silicon Valley Bank affiliates but they weren’t as lucrative.
The Republican Nationals Committee received the most notable donation which amounted to $5,271.
The Silicon Valley Bank PAC in 2020 was a bit more balanced when it came to donations between Republicans and Democrats.
Republican Rep. Patrick McHenry of North Carolina and Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters both received $2,5000.
Former Representative Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio who previously voted to impeach Trump received $1,000.

Another crypto exchange is in the news and it’s not good.
According to CNBC:
U.S. cryptocurrency firm Circle has $3.3 billion of its $40 billion of USD Coin reserves at the collapsed lender Silicon Valley Bank, the company said in a tweet on Friday.
The stablecoin company’s announcement comes after startup-focused SVB collapsed on Friday in the largest bank failure since the 2008 financial crisis, roiling global markets and stranding billions of dollars belonging to companies and investors.
On Twitter, experts were saying CIRCLE was going to fail months ago.

Today CIRCLE announced it will open for business on Monday as normal and is expecting high volume.
On Saturday, March 11, 2023, Circle Financial updated the public about its stablecoin, USDC, and noted that the stablecoin’s liquidity operations will resume normally on Monday morning in the United States. Circle said that the company’s teams would be ready on Monday to “handle significant volume” and that the firm will “stand behind USDC and cover any shortfall using corporate resources, involving external capital if necessary.”

Circle, the issuer of the second-largest stablecoin by market capitalization, usd coin (USDC), addressed the public on Saturday, noting that the firm will be ready on Monday to “handle significant volume.” The company discussed the failure of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) and also emphasized the USDC’s “strong liquidity and reserve assets.” On Monday, the stablecoin issuer noted, “USDC will remain redeemable 1-for-1 with the U.S. dollar.”

Politico reported – The US House sent legislation to President Joe Biden on Friday requiring the administration to declassify all information held by U.S. agencies relating to potential links between China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology and Covid-19.
Every representative both Democrat and Republican voted for the bill.  Last week the US Senate also voted unanimously for the bill.  It makes you wonder what the Democrats have up their sleeve.  They are not typically transparent.  There must be something behind their vote especially since we all know it will indice Dr. Tony Fauci the Democrat darling.
Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) sponsored the bill.
The Chinese Communist Party officials wrote Senator Hawley this week and demanded that he drop the bill.
They are very worried.  Dr. Fauci wasn’t the only one lying about COVID.
Senator Hawley responded to the Chi-Coms on Friday:  “The bill will soon be law – unless you can convince President Biden to veto it.  Time is up.  Come clean about your role in spreading COVID to the world.”

Stanford officials allowed law students to berate and shout down a federal judge who was invited to speak at the university.
Students shouted at Judge Kyle Duncan, a Trump appointee, and made it impossible for him to speak.
“If enough of these kids get into the legal profession, the rule of law will descend into barbarism,” the judge told the Free Beacon.
Judge Duncan said protesters behaved like “dog shit.”
The far-left students were reportedly upset about Judge Duncan’s refusal to use a transgender sex offender’s “preferred pronouns” in a 2020 opinion, the Free Beacon reported.
Tirien Steinbach, Stanford’s dean of “diversity, equity and inclusion,” refused to intervene and joined the mob by berating the judge.
Steinbach accused the judge of causing “harm” in a long-winded speech.
The students were so out of control that federal marshals had to escort the judge out of the building to safety.

The Free Beacon reported:
Fifth Circuit appellate judge Stuart Kyle Duncan, who was shouted down by Stanford Law School students as administrators looked on in silence, says the protesters behaved like “dogshit.”
Now, in an interview with the Washington Free Beacon, Duncan is calling on the school to discipline the students who disrupted his talk and to fire the school’s associate dean of diversity, equity, and inclusion, who stepped in during the event to chastise him and deliver what the judge described as a “bizarre therapy session from hell.”
Duncan’s remarks come after nearly a hundred students at Stanford Law School disrupted his remarks in brazen violation of Stanford University’s free speech policies.
One source of the students’ ire was Duncan’s refusal, in a 2020 opinion, to use a transgender sex offender’s preferred pronouns. The Stanford event, which was sponsored by the law school’s chapter of the Federalist Society, got so out of hand that federal marshals eventually escorted Duncan from the building.
Tirien Steinbach, the school’s diversity dean, arrived on the scene when Duncan himself asked for an administrator to restore order. She then took to the podium and, in a video that has now circulated widely online, accused the judge of causing “harm.”

Levi William Axtell
Grand Marais, Minn.- A Minnesota man confessed to beating a convicted pedophile with a shovel before “finishing him off” with a moose antler according to a criminal complaint filed Friday.
27-year-old Levi William Axtell was charged with second degree murder in the death of 77-year-old Lawrence V. Scully, who was killed in his Grand Marais home Wednesday.
According to the complaint, Axtell was covered in blood as he walked into the lobby, put his hands on his head, and said he had just murdered Scully.
Cook County Judge Michael Cuzzo set Axtell’s bail at $1 million after a Friday hearing.
According to the Minneapolis Star Tribune, an anonymous caller called emergency dispatch around 4:45 P.M claiming that he saw someone in a minivan pull into Scully’s driveway on E. 5th Street and run into the house. The caller said he then heard screaming and saw the van pull away.
Axtell allegedly killed Scully because he strongly believed Scully was targeting his daughter.
Fox News Digital confirmed through court records that Axtell believed Scully was stalking his 22-month-old daughter at her day care. Scully allegedly sat in a car nearby waiting for her.
Axtell requested a court order of protection back in 2018, explaining why his daughter needed it:
He has been there (day care) many times stalking children in his van. He is a convicted pedophile, and him stalking and attempting to groom my daughter is completely inappropriate and needs to stop.
Axtell was initially granted the court order of protection but then it was dismissed weeks later according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.
Scully had no business walking the streets of America to begin with.
According to Cook County Sheriff Pat Eliasen, Scully was convicted of sexually assaulting a six-year-old girl in 1979. He was released from prison in 1982.
Sheriff Eliasen said Friday there had numerous complaints against Scully but a subsequent investigation “didn’t reveal anything.”
Axtell is currently jailed in Cook County. He is next scheduled to appear in court on April 10.

Democrat Rep. Eric Swalwell, who is best known for his relationship with Chinese spy and honeypot Fang Fang, suggested banning Fox News from troops overseas.
“I think about our troops… and nothing makes them feel more like home than their access to American television programming and a popular channel is Fox News and I don’t want to get in the business of telling troops what they can and cannot watch but if you have a news station that a court is going rule…that is perpetuating dis and misinformation… we need to take a look at how this is being broadcast to our troops,” Swalwell said during an appearance on fake news MSNBC.

The Silicon Valley Bank failure may not be the only bank to fail per experts in the field. 
The Silicon Valley Bank failed while the top executives at the bank sold their shares before the failure – an obvious misuse of insider information.
Having insiders operating like these top executives gives you an idea of the ethics operating at the bank.  The fish rots from the head, they say.  These individuals may be in serious trouble.
Others were not so lucky.

There are fears that the Silicon Valley Bank may not be the last bank to fail in 2023.

Fears were mounting on Friday for the future of First Republic Bank, after the collapse on Friday of Silicon Valley Bank and the resulting ripple effect.
Silicon Valley Bank, the 14th largest in the United States, specialized in supporting tech businesses and has been hard-hit by both the economic conditions and inflation.
On Friday it was taken into government control, and executives are hoping that another financial institution will step in to keep the bank afloat.
Other banks were rattled by the demise of Silicon Valley Bank – among them First Republic, the 16th largest, whose shares plummeted 50 percent on Friday, before closing 15 percent down.
First Republic issued a statement in the late morning seeking to calm investors, pointing to its ‘continued safety and stability and strong capital and liquidity positions.’

The problem for depositors in banks with balances greater than $250,000 is that these balances are not insured by the FDIC.  These balances would be classified as creditors when a bank fails.
Andrew Yang warns that there could be massive layoffs in the tech sector if the government doesn’t step in.

Andrew Yang, the entrepreneur who grabbed national attention during his 2020 White House run and his 2021 New York City mayoral run, urged government intervention following the Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) collapse, warning of potential mass layoffs in the near future and a “financial contagion.”
“In the absence of some kind of action you’ll see thousands of mass layoffs and defunct companies, a wiped out generation of start-ups.” Yang warned.

This could be the beginning of another 2008 economic crisis or even worse.

Accused killer Bryan Kohberger enters Idaho courtroom
A judge sealed dozens of warrants for more than 60 companies in the Bryan Kohberger quadruple murder case.
Bryan Kohberger, 28, is accused of fatally stabbing 20-year-old Ethan Chapin of Conway, Washington; 21-year-old Madison Mogen of Coeur d’Alene, Idaho; 20-year-old Xana Kernodle of Avondale, Arizona; and 21-year-old Kaylee Goncalves of Rathdrum, Idaho on November 13.

The documents, which will remain sealed and redacted, “contain highly intimate facts or statements … which would be highly objectionable to a reasonable person,” and the “documents contain facts or statements that might threaten the safety of or endanger the life or safety of individuals.” – Fox News reported.

Pennsylvania unsealed search warrants that revealed a number of items seized by law enforcement from Bryan Kohberger’s parents’ home during a December 30 raid.
Authorities seized black gloves, a Glock, a knife (possibly the murder weapon?), black face masks, ‘green leafy substance’ in a plastic bag and other items (photo of list below).
Another peculiar item seized was a “book with underlining on page 118.”

Police also seized parts of Bryan Kohberger’s white Hyundai Elantra.
Tire irons, a shovel, floor mats, a door panel, seats and seat cushions, headrests, seatbelt, brake pedal, gas pedal, a band-aid and other items were seized from the vehicle.

The FBI seized a number of items from Kohberger’s parents’ home, including four medical style gloves, a pair of black Under Armour socks and size 13 black and white Nike sneakers.
According to the court documents, Kohberger’s DNA was found on a tan leather knife sheath left behind on Maddie Mogen’s bed on the 3rd floor at the King Road Residence.
“The sheath was later processed and had ‘Ka-Bar’ ‘USMC’ and the United States Marine Corps eagle globe and anchor insignia stamped on the outside of it,” Idaho police officer Brett Payne wrote in the 19-page affidavit. “The Idaho state lab later located a single source of male DNA (suspect Profile) left on the button snap of the knife sheath.”
According to People, Kohberger had “more than one picture” of one of the female victims stored on his phone.
Kohberger also reportedly messaged one of the female victims on Instagram two weeks before the murders.
Kohberger could face a firing squad if convicted since a GOP state lawmaker introduced a new bill that would bring back the method of legal execution.

It sounds like a good drug name, doesn’t it? It also sounds like an inherently ludicrous woman one heartbeat away from the presidency who claims our children are facing “climate mental health” issues and don’t even know whether they can start a family or not.
According to Fox News, Vice President Harris was speaking at the “Aspen Ideas: Climate Conference” in Miami Beach, Florida on Wednesday, where she told the audience that young climate activists are at risk of mental illness thanks to climate change. That’s a new low from an elected official if I’ve ever heard one.
“One of the young leaders was talking to me about climate mental health. I said, ‘Tell me what’s going on with your peers,’” Harris said.
She then repeated what the activist told her: “Climate mental health.”

Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen will testify before a Manhattan grand jury investigating a ‘hush payment’ made to Stormy Daniels on behalf of the former president.
Earlier this year the Manhattan District Attorney’s office revived its criminal investigation into Trump’s ‘hush payments’ to porn star Stephanie Clifford, AKA, Stormy Daniels.
Trump has been accused of paying Daniels ‘hush payments’ in a scheme to silence her and stop the story about their alleged affair from being published in the National Enquirer.
Trump has denied the affair.
Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s predecessor previously rejected the Trump ‘hush payments’ case because it wouldn’t stand up in court.
Fast-forward a couple years and now the Manhattan DA has revived the Stormy Daniel hush payments probe to counter Trump’s 2024 White House bid.
Trump’s former lawyer Michael Cohen has been meeting with Manhattan prosecutors investigating the Stormy Daniels case over the last few weeks.
According to the Associated Press, Cohen will testify on Monday.
Cohen previously claimed he was directly involved in helping Trump pay Stormy Daniels a $130,000 ‘hush payment.’

Donald Trump’s former lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen is scheduled to testify Monday before a Manhattan grand jury investigating hush-money payments made on the former president’s behalf, two people familiar with the matter told The Associated Press. They were not authorized to speak publicly about grand jury proceedings and did so on condition of anonymity.
Cohen is a key witness in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s investigation and his testimony is coming at a critical time, as prosecutors close in on a decision on whether to seek charges against Trump. Prosecutors sometimes save their most important witnesses until the end stages of a grand jury investigation.
Cohen has been meeting regularly with Manhattan prosecutors in recent weeks, including a day-long session Friday to prepare for his appearance before the grand jury, which has been hearing evidence in the matter since January.
Manhattan prosecutors on Thursday signaled criminal charges for Trump are likely in the Stormy case, according to the New York Times.
Trump was told he can appear before the grand jury next week if he wants to testify, the New York Time reported, citing four sources.
