An awkward moment during a Wednesday event at the White House with Vice President Kamala Harris has some observers asking questions.
Harris was swearing in commissioners as part of the “White House Initiative on Advancing Educational Equity, Excellence, and Economic Opportunity for Hispanics.”
The vice president began speaking in an accent while recounting a story about her mother.
“My mother used to, she would give us a hard time sometimes,” Harris said. “And she would say to us, ‘I don’t know what’s wrong with you young people. You think you just fell out of a coconut tree?’”
Harris suddenly began laughing — appearing to give her audience a cue to join her, as if she were a campaign surrogate for Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign.

Some Twitter users described Harris’ mannerisms in the speech clip as bizarre and contrived.

Some of Harris’ current and former aides say the vice president acts differently behind the scenes than she does in public.
One staffer who worked for her when she was California attorney general described Harris as prone to a “deep, deep insecurity” in a book published early this year.
Another person on her team said they were “treated like s***” by the vice president, according to Politico.

YouTube pilot Trevor Jacob finally admitted he crashed his plane a year and a half ago for online clout.
In December 2021, Trevor Jacob posted a YouTube video of himself jumping out of a single engine airplane while he was flying from Lompoc to Mammoth Lakes, California.
The 29-year-old claimed he was forced to parachute from the plane because the engine failed.
But it was all a lie.
The stunt took place on November 24, 2021 and was uploaded to YouTube on December 21, 2021.
Trevor Jacob pleaded guilty on Thursday to a felony charge of “obstructing a federal investigation by deliberately destroying the wreckage of an airplane that he intentionally crashed in Santa Barbara County to gain online views,” according to the US Attorney’s Office, Central District of California.
Investigators used Trevor Jacob’s YouTube video to bolster their case.
Trevor Jacob lied to investigators when he told them he didn’t know the location of the plane wreckage.
According to investigators, Jacob drove the wreckage to Lompoc City Airport where he cut up and destroyed the parts of the plane.
“Jacob drove the wreckage to Lompoc City Airport and unloaded it in a hangar. He then cut up and destroyed the airplane wreckage and, over the course of a few days, deposited the detached parts of the wrecked airplane into trash bins at the airport and elsewhere, which he admitted in his plea agreement was done with the intent to obstruct federal authorities from investigating the November 24 plane crash.” the DOJ said.
Trevor Jacob also lied to federal investigators when he submitted an aircraft accident incident where he falsely claimed the aircraft lost all power 35 minutes after takeoff.
“Jacob also lied to an FAA aviation safety inspector when he said the airplane’s engine had quit and, because he could not identify any safe landing options, he had parachuted out of the plane.” the DOJ said.
Trevor Jacob faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
The FAA revoked his pilot license in April 2022.

On November 24, 2021, Jacob took off in his airplane from Lompoc City Airport on a solo flight purportedly destined for Mammoth Lakes. Jacob did not intend to reach his destination, but instead planned to eject from his aircraft during the flight and video himself parachuting to the ground and his airplane as it descended and crashed, he admitted in the plea agreement
Prior to taking off, Jacob mounted several video cameras on different parts of the airplane and equipped himself with a parachute, video camera and selfie stick. Approximately 35 minutes after taking off, while flying above the Los Padres National Forest near Santa Maria, Jacob ejected from the airplane and videoed himself parachuting to the ground.
Using the video camera mounted on the selfie stick and the video cameras he mounted on the airplane, Jacob was able to record the airplane as it descended and crashed into a dry brush area in Los Padres National Forest. After parachuting to the ground, Jacob hiked to the location of the wreck and recovered the data containing the video recording of his flight and the crash of the airplane, the plea agreement states.
On November 26, 2021, Jacob informed the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) about the plane crash. The NTSB, which launched an investigation into the crash on or about that same day, told Jacob that he was responsible for preserving the wreckage so the agency could examine it. Jacob agreed to determine the crash location and provide both the coordinates of the downed plane and videos of the crash to NTSB investigators. Three days later, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) launched its own investigation into the plane crash.
In the weeks following the plane crash, Jacob lied to investigators that he did not know the wreckage’s location, according to the plea agreement. In fact, on December 10, 2021, Jacob and a friend flew by helicopter to the wreckage site. There, Jacob used straps to secure the wreckage, which the helicopter lifted and carried to Rancho Sisquoc in Santa Barbara County, where it was loaded onto a trailer attached to Jacob’s pickup truck.

Well, New York City just banned weight discrimination.
The New York City council on Thursday passed passed a bill that makes it illegal to discriminate against weight.
People applying for housing or employment cannot be discriminated against for their height or weight.
Public accommodations were also included in the bill.
So-called ‘fat activists’ say weight discrimination hits women of color the hardest.

Victoria Abraham graduated from New York University last year, ready to enter the job market. She is a self-proclaimed “fat activist” who has found her voice as a content creator online, but has concerns about applying for new job.
“Walking into a job interview as a fat person, I’m already at a disadvantage,” said Victoria Abraham. “I know that whatever my qualifications are, my weight is a con.”
But on Thursday, the New York City council passed a bill that would make it illegal to discriminate against height and weight in housing, employment, and public accommodations.
“I know that at least when I get a job, if I’m experiencing this discrimination, I have someone supporting me. I have the support of the government; I have legal protection where there wasn’t any before,” said Abraham.
Only six other cities and one state have similar laws protecting Americans against height and weight discrimination: Binghamton, New York; Madison, Wisconsin; Urbana, Illinois; Washington, DC; San Francisco and Santa Cruz, California; and Michigan.

Several Democrat cities across the United States that have defunded their police departments are suing Kia and Hyundai due to manufacturing cars that are easily stolen.
The City of Baltimore has sued both Hyundai and Kia in federal court for producing cars that lack anti-theft technology.
In the lawsuit the City of Baltimore is blaming Kia and Hyundai vehicles for making up 40% of car thefts in the city.
Back in March the city of Milwaukee sued Kia and Hyundai too for  creating “nuisance levels of automobile theft” in the city.

Baltimore City is suing Hyundai and Kia in federal court for actions the city says are fueling a “vehicular crime wave.”
The lawsuit, filed Thursday, claims the business decision by the automakers to not equip vehicles with anti-theft technology is behind the city’s massive spike in car thefts.
The increase car jackings of Kia and Hyundai vehicles spiked after a viral TikTok challenge showed people how to use a USB cable to steal a newer model of a KIA or Hyandai.

An old video from MMA’s POSSIBLE Miami Event 2023 last April has surfaced online, featuring new Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino persuading Elon Musk to implement content moderation on his platform.
The new Twitter CEO is all for content moderation and influence peddling to appease advertisers.
During the interview with Elon, Yaccarino encouraged him to allow advertisers to have an influence on the platform.
“So you’ve got a massive platform,” said Yaccarino. “You have a vision that is a spectrum of just daily, open-sourced conversation. And they can conduct their lives, their business, their commerce, whatever they can do on your platform. That’s a pretty big vision. But in the middle should be advertising opportunity.”
“But they need to feel that there is an opportunity for them to influence what you’re building,” she added.
“I want to be specific about influencing. It’s more of an open feedback loop for the advertising experts in this room to help develop Twitter into a place where they will be excited about investing more money. Product development, ad safety, content moderation. That’s what the influence is,” said Yaccarino.
Musk said that it was inappropriate for advertising to try to influence what appears on Twitter, saying it “would be a diminishment of freedom of speech.”
“I think it’s totally cool to say that you want to have your advertising appear in certain places on Twitter and not in other places, but it is not cool to try to say what Twitter will do, and if that means losing advertising dollars, we lose it. But freedom of speech is paramount,” Musk responded.

When Elon Musk was confronted regarding the interview, he defended Yaccarino by saying, “Don’t judge too early.” He continued by saying, “I’m adamant about defending free speech, even if it means losing money.”

She was also thrilled to spend $100,000,000 on social justice initiatives while at NBC, and forwarded government authoritarian propaganda that the way back to a normal life was to “wear your mask!”
No doubt she’ll bring in advertising revenue in the short term, but she’s a long-term mistake.

An old video of Yaccarino in an interview in 2020 has also surfaced online, where she lauded her employers, Jeff Shell and Brian Roberts, for “fighting social justice and equality.”
She also commended her company’s progress in hiring “50% of women and 50% people of color”.

According to multiple sources cited by Vox, Yaccarino holds a conservative political ideology.
“Although Yaccarino is not vocal about her political beliefs, it’s well known in the advertising community that she’s conservative, according to several sources. She served on former President Donald Trump’s Council on Sports and Nutrition, and many have noted that she likes and follows conservative accounts on Twitter,” the outlet reported.

Soros-funded DA Alvin Bragg announced in April he was upending the law and charging President Trump with 34 felonies in a “catch and kill” scheme. This is also called a non-disclosure agreement. It occurs when two parties agree to not discuss publicly a certain issue. It often includes a payment to one of the parties.
This is all Alvin Bragg has on Trump. The New York DA is now counting on a jury of local communists to find Trump guilty. This shouldn’t be too hard in New York City. For the record, this case has been tossed from every other court that tried to bring charges against Trump.

Following the indictment,
Jim Jordan subpoenaed former Manhattan DA prosecutor and Hillary Clinton lawyer, Mark Pomerantz for a deposition.
Mark Pomerantz, a former senior prosecutor on the Manhattan DA’s team investigating Trump resigned in protest after District Attorney Alvin Bragg ended the investigation.
He then went on to write a book on the topic. In the book, he claims the investigation “developed evidence convincing us that Donald Trump had committed serious crimes.” Pomerantz resigned early last year after Bragg, just weeks into his first term in office, decided not to seek an indictment of Trump at that time.
Bragg failed in his lawsuit and Mark Pomerantz sat before Congress on Friday where he repeatedly pleaded the fifth and refused to answer questions regarding the case.

Mark Pomerantz, a former prosecutor in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office, refused to answer any questions relevant to former President Donald Trump’s indictment during much of a deposition before Congress on Friday.
Pomerantz warned in an opening statement he would do as much, according to a copy of the opening statement leaked to CNN and other legacy media outlets.
“It gives me no joy to invoke my legal rights, but I am glad that the law allows me not to cooperate with this performance of political theater,” Pomerantz said, per his statement.
The deposition ran for roughly five hours.
It should be clear at this point that Democrats have identified no criminal actions by President Trump. All they have is raw hatred of the popular populist president who shook up the country and make America great again.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean Pierre on Friday announced Joe Biden will be delivering a commencement speech at Howard University on Saturday morning.
“The president will then travel to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, where he and the first lady will remain over the weekend,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.
Meanwhile the Department of Homeland Security is forcing officers to work all weekend to deal with the influx of illegal aliens.

The announcement comes after the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is forcing asylum officers to work through the weekend in an effort to deal with the surge of migrants at the southern border seeking to claim asylum in the U.S., Fox News Digital learned exclusively on Friday.
A DHS memo sent Friday morning by the associate director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Refugee, Asylum and International Operations (RAIO) and seen by Fox News Digital says that employees had been informed Thursday of the need for them to work at least one day this weekend — and now the agency is going a step further.
“Developments emerging over the course of the day made clear that more resources are needed, and we must take immediate steps to increase the number of staff available on both Saturday and Sunday to meet the need,” it says.
“In order to ensure full operational readiness, I must now ask that all Asylum Division employees, with limited exception, work both Saturday and Sunday this weekend,” Associate Director Ted Kim says.

Law enforcement in Loudoun County, Virginia is investigating threatening comments made by a far-left Facebook group according a local news report. The group has targeted parents for bravely speaking out against the Loudoun County Public School’s (LCPS) Marxist agenda.
The Gateway Pundit previously reported LCPS forced a leftist critical race theory curriculum down children’s throats. Moreover, the group made parents to sign a form promising not to show anyone their curriculum.
LCPS was also embroiled in a massive scandal where a trans student sexually assaulted a female student in a high school bathroom on May 28th, 2021, but chose to bury the information instead of taking appropriate measures.
ABC7 News exclusively revealed this week that the group, ironically named the “Loudon Love Warriors,” has threatened violence to the point of threatening to kill the courageous parents for speaking out.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Department released a statement on their investigation:
The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office has opened an investigation into potential threats made within the ‘Loudon Love Warrios’ Facebook group, following a citizen complaint today. A previous investigation of the group and comments made about Mark Winn, a resident of Leesburg, Va., determined that no criminal act had occurred.
A whistleblower revealed that after Winn spoke up at a school board meeting in December 2022, one member of the “Loudoun Love Warriors, said they would ruin Linn’s life. The group specifically wanted to contact his employer and ensure he would get fired.
Several other members of the fascist group piled on and one even threatened to kill Winn and other parents for opposing the Board. Here are some of the more vile comments.

Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin told 7News DC that he was “stunned” but pointed out that this was “standard” disgraced Attorney General Merrick Garland had set. As Gateway Pundit readers know, Garland previously unleashed his Gestapo on brave parents protesting at school boards.

The record of the Department of Homeland Security’s attacks on Americans of faith, particularly Catholics, is long and disturbing.
The Gateway Pundit’s Cristina Laila reported on Chris Wray’s FBI memo warning agents of the dangerous ‘radical traditionalist Catholic ideology’ gaining popularity in the country. The memo was posted at UncoverDC.com by former FBI special agent Kyle Seraphin.
As TGP reported in April, the FBI is also infiltrating Catholic parishes and engaging in outreach to Catholic leaders to spy on Americans practicing their Christian faith.
Now, America First Legal has obtained documents showing DHS using a pro-life mother as an example of a potential “radicalization suspect.”   The violence prevention training guide is dated just days after Joe Biden took office.
The “radical” pro-life mom’s profile reads, “This is Ann, a resident of Elkville in rural America. Ann has always been religious but since the death of her mother, she’s become increasingly devout. She’s a regular in the small-town community, active in several church groups. While she has always been protective of her four kids, she has become increasingly more concerned about the welfare of other children including the unborn.”
Agents are then guided on ways to address this radical behavior when Ann questions whether “the bible justifies violence in defense of life” during a prayer group meeting and calls the mayor of her small town a “baby killer” at a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Another scenario raises the question of whether a hairdresser, who Ann has shared her pro-life views with, should research pro-life groups or contact the sheriff to learn about when such behavior could become a problem.

Reed Rubinstein, America First Legal senior counselor and director of investigations, said in a statement that DHS “is out of control.”
“The Department of Homeland Security’s transformation into a domestic intelligence organization and a Stasi-like Deep State internal security apparatus is alarming,” he said.
“It is a very long way from ‘see something, say something’ regarding an unattended suitcase at the airport to profiling patriotic and politically conservative Americans as abusive parents and domestic terrorists because they oppose abortion on demand and voted for former President Trump.”

According to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), a migrant child died while in US custody just hours after Title 42 expired.
The Biden Regime is withholding details of the deceased child.
“The US Department of Health and Human Services is deeply saddened by this tragic loss and our heart goes out to the family, with whom we are in touch,” the HHS said, according to Fox News.
