A federal worker in civilian clothes told the reporters they were protecting the “privacy” of the migrants. The feds moved a Border Patrol truck in front of the reporters to block their view. A protester can be heard denouncing the Biden administration’s policies.

Shroyer released video of armed federal agents protecting illegal aliens as they invade the US. Owen pointed out the obvious hypocrisy. The armed federal agents were sent to border to protect illegals entering our country.

An epic video exclusively captured by Infowars showed a U.S. veteran confronting the Texas National Guard for failing to enforce Gov. Greg Abbott’s (R-Texas) orders to stop the flow of illegal immigrants.
“Your job is to follow orders from the governor of Texas. He is your Commander-in-Chief,” the veteran told the troops.
“I’m not in the mood, so what you need to do is back off–” one guardsman said.
“What you need to do is follow the order that the governor set forth. That’s what you need to do, because that’s your job as Texas National Guard,” veteran responded.
“You guys are facilitating buses. The governor set an order to slow down the influx of illegal immigrants. You guys aren’t doing that. Where’s your pride in following orders, man?” the veteran asked.
“You’re wearing that uniform to represent our state of Texas, not the border patrol,” he added.

A Los Angeles civil rights attorney has condemned Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for playing the “race card” in announcing charges against the Marine who put an allegedly violent homeless man in a chokehold.
Daniel Penny, 24, was charged with second-degree manslaughter on Thursday in connection with the death of 30-year-old Jordan Neely. He is facing up to 15 years in prison if convicted.

Penny, a Marine Corps veteran, was filmed earlier this month restraining Neely, a reportedly mentally-ill homeless man who was allegedly harassing and threatening other passengers.
The chokehold Penny used, however, proved to be fatal and Neely’s death was ruled a homicide.
The incident was immediately taken up by the cause of left-wing protesters, who have likened Neely’s death to that of George Floyd’s.

However, many have also come to Penny’s defense, with a GiveSendGo fundraiser raising over $960,000 to pay for his legal fees.
Leo Terrell, a civil rights attorney, chimed in on Penny’s case on Friday, arguing that the charges against him are racially and politically motivated.
Terrell appeared on Fox News’ “The Story with Martha MacCallum,” where he condemned Alvin Bragg as a “far-left” DA who has offered the Marine to the crowds like a “sacrificial lamb.”
“The big question, Martha, is why – why the Marine and not the other individuals who helped him?” Terrell asked, according to Fox. “I mean, why weren’t they charged for anything? They weren’t charged at all.”
Bragg, he said, is using “the classic ‘we want to play the race card’ situation.”
“You can’t ignore the fact that this Marine is white. You can’t ignore the fact that the victim is black,” Terrell said.
He also noted that 27 other people have died in the subway but have not been given the same attention.
“This is the ugliest of the race card being played. And this Marine is being the sacrificial lamb. And I find it offensive,” Terrell said, Fox reported.

He was then played a clip of Lennon Edwards, the lawyer for Neely’s family, questioning how a person could be “assaulted for fifteen minutes straight and never receive any help.”
“The MTA needs to answer for that,” Edwards said.
Terrell then said in response: “Chicago, [Los Angeles], New York – there’s a common thread. A black mayor running these cities. And yet there’s a problem with getting these types of mental services to these individuals? No, they’re being ignored … The minority community is being ignored by people who are running the city.”

On Saturday, members of the Patriot Front, a group that leftists have labeled as white supremacist, marched towards the U.S. Capitol.
Approximately 150-200 members of the Patriot Front were out in khakis and blue T-shirts again. They were all wearing masks while being escorted with police.

The group invested in several flags for today’s march including “Reclaim America.” It would be interesting to discover who paid for the travel, the flags, and the uniforms.
Unlike Antifa and BLM the Patriot Front does not break any laws nor are they involved in violence.
Democrats label them a very dangerous hate group.

Patriot Front is a Texas-based group led by Thomas Ryan Rousseau. According to ADL, the group split from Vanguard America (VA) in late August 2017.

Twitter announced that it will limit what can be said in Turkey in the days leading up to Sunday’s elections.
“In response to legal process and to ensure Twitter remains available to the people of Turkey, we have taken action to restrict access to some content in Turkey today. Sunday’s elections are considered a challenge for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, according to CNN. His main challenger is Kemal Kilicdaroglu, the leader of the Republican People’s Party.
Under Turkish rules, the winner must receive more than 50 percent of the votes. If no one gets a majority a runoff between the two top vote getters takes place. If necessary, that vote would be held May 28.

At a minimum, Twitter needs to disclose publicly to all:

2️⃣ What content they’re unable to see

Before Twitter’s announcement, Human Rights Watch had said it feared Turkey would take control of social media in the country.
“The Turkish government has accelerated its efforts to enforce censorship and tighten control over social media and independent online news sites ahead of this election,” Deborah Brown, senior technology researcher at Human Rights Watch, said.
“The vote will test whether voters in Turkey can rely on social media for independent news and to express their views on the election and its outcome, despite government efforts to put companies under its heel.”
“Social media companies may face intense pressure to remove content the government views unfavorably, including assessments from independent monitors,”  Sarah Clarke, director of ARTICLE 19 Europe, said.
“It is crucial for companies to resist these pressures and do everything in their power to push back against measures that would make them complicit in rights abuses during this critical election period,” she said.
A report in The New York Times said public opinion polls show Erdogan trailing his challenger, despite using all the levers of power to bolster his standing with voters.
“The elections are not fair, but nonetheless they are free, and that is why there is always the prospect of political change in Turkey. The prospect exists, and is now palpable,” Sinan Ulgen, director of the Istanbul-based EDAM research group, said.
Although some reports have claimed Erdogan, who has ruled Turkey for 20 years, would not step aside if the vote goes against him, he has downplayed that notion.
“If our nation decides to make such a different decision, we will do exactly what’s required by democracy,” he said.

Some were taken aback by Pope Francis’ description of a pedophile as “children of God” deserving of love and “pastoral care” as well as “enemies” who should also be punished, The Independent reported.
During a meeting with 32 Jesuits last month in Budapest, Hungary, Pope Francis voiced his consideration of offering “Christian love” to pedophile priests who were responsible for destroying both the lives of children and the reputation of the Catholic church.
“The Gospel asks us to love, but how do we love at the same time people who have experienced abuse and their abusers?” a Jesuit asked the pope per Yahoo. “God loves everyone. He loves them, too. But what about us?”
The Jesuit continued his question, “Without ever covering anything up, of course, how do we love abusers? I would like to offer the compassion and love that the Gospel asks for everyone, even the enemy. But how is this possible?”
“It is not easy at all,” the pope said. “Today we understand that the reality of abuse is very broad: there is sexual abuse, psychological abuse, economic abuse, migrant abuse. You refer to sexual abuse. How do we approach, how do we talk to the abusers for whom we feel revulsion? Yes, they too are children of God.”
He continued, “But how can you love them? It’s a powerful question. The abuser is to be condemned, indeed, but as a brother. Condemning him is to be understood as an act of charity. There is a logic, a form of loving the enemy that is also expressed in this way. And it is not easy to understand and to live out. The abuser is an enemy.”
“Each of us feels this because we empathize with the suffering of the abused,” pope added.
“When you hear what abuse leaves in the hearts of abused people, the impression you get is very powerful. Even talking to the abuser involves revulsion; it’s not easy.”
Pope Francis concluded, “But they are God’s children, too. They deserve punishment, but they also deserve pastoral care. How do we provide that? No, it is not easy. You are right.”
According to AbuseLawsuit.com, “the Roman Catholic Church is a major offender in the nationwide scandal of child sex abuse.”
The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) documented 4,228 claims of sexual abuse against children in 2021. From the beginning of 2019 to the end of 2020, 3,924 victims of abuse submitted formal complaints. Over 2,700 individual clergy members from across the nation were involved in the incidents.
“The report found that only 22 of the allegations involve current cases. However, survivors with older cases are still seeking legal justice and accountability from responsible dioceses,” according to the outlet.

Biden was paid $1 million by UPenn but he never taught a single class.

I can always count on the President of the American Federation of Teachers, Randi Weingarten, to say something or tweet something ridiculous any given week. They say tyrants get more erratic and dangerous when they realize their power is starting to slip. It looks as though Randi is feeling her influence slip through her tightening fist.
She recently testified to Congress about her role in the school closures during COVID and her direct line of influence on former CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, in which she attempted to retell history to paint herself as a hero versus a villain.
Thanks to Elon Musk buying Twitter, Weingarten wasn’t able to totally get away with rewriting history – her claims were repeatedly nailed by Twitter’s Community Notes, their version of fact-checks.
Here’s just one example:

Realizing perhaps too late that the internet is forever, Randi is now propping up an artificial intelligence tool for her union minions and educators to help scrub past embarrassing social media posts.
Do you smell that? – It’s called desperation.

Randi wrote a tweet this week alerting her union members and educators of a new service AFT is offering paying members called LifeBrand:

According to the AFT website, LifeBrand is a “Leading AI-powered tool…” just what the world needs; a union leader advocating for AI to cover up inconvenient speech. This tweet is deliciously timed after her failed attempts to gaslight Americans into believing she advocated for opening schools as soon as possible during COVID.
Thanks to Community Notes on Twitter, users were able to remind her repeatedly about how she did everything in her power to keep schools closed. For example when she called President Trump’s push to reopen schools “reckless, callous, and cruel” two years ago.
Or the time she endorsed what were called “safety strikes” by teachers. Too bad LifeBrand wasn’t able to delete the whole past!

Rules For Thee, Only Thee
Randi is trying to sell a product under a false pretense. Her plug for LifeBrand makes it sound innocuous; after all, most humans change over time, and many of us probably wish we could delete previous social media posts due to the natural passage of time. 
For example, I once thought bangs were a great fashion statement, and believed commenting on every attractive male actor was something the social media-verse would care two figs about. However, the real purpose of LifeBrand is to try to avoid being canceled. Or fact-checked.

How rich is that? A person like Randi who ascribes to a political ideology that prides itself in canceling those they disagree with, desperately trying to keep from getting canceled.
What on Earth will Libs of TikTok do if green-haired, face-pierced, nonbinary unhinged educators can erase old videos and posts of themselves advocating for sexualizing preschoolers? Given that the world has never been without idiots, something tells me they’ll still have plenty of material to choose from.

Frequent Flier
Sometimes it’s easy to forget what Randi’s actual job is. If you follow her Twitter account, which I do, she spends half the time, if not more, tweeting about topics that relate in no way to American educators or American children.
Take a wild guess on where Randi spent this week. It wasn’t Baltimore to figure out why high schoolers there don’t know how to read.
It wasn’t Loudoun County to find out why parents and the school board still need help finding common ground. And it sure the hell wasn’t in DC to discuss with Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona the game plan on how they will catch up America’s children in math, reading, and history. 
Instead, she traveled to Ukraine… for the third time. I think that only puts her two more visits away on her Support Ukraine Visit Punch Card, and then she gets a free knife set.

When she’s not visiting schools in Ukraine, she’s voicing her support for the writer’s strike, defending curriculum focused on gender identity and sexual orientation, fawning over President Biden and Vice President Harris, and attacking Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. All while claiming conservatives are politicizing education.

A Bully In Another Form
I like to tease, rib, and pick on people fairly regularly – but I can take as much as I give. I can’t abide people who rip on others but can’t stand the heat when it’s directed at them.
Where I come from, those people are called bullies. That is what Randi and her ilk are, bullies.
The same political faction Randi prescribes to attacks people all the time for their past statements and posts. For example, take the recent hit piece in The Philadelphia Inquirer on Thomas Jefferson University President Mark Tykocinksi.
The outlet combed through the university president’s Twitter account to track how many tweets he had liked that were critical of various topics, including:

The COVID vaccine
Gender reassignment surgery for children
College diversity offices

Mind you; he didn’t write, share, or comment on any of these topics; he merely “liked” them on Twitter. This man, by the way, is not a Twitter powerhouse. He has only a little over a thousand followers. 
The left has no problem being critical of those who oppose them. Still, when the tables are turned, it doesn’t feel so great, and their answer, instead of thoughtful counter-debate is to try to silence us. This time the attempt is through the ruse of an AI tool sold to help your social media reflect “who you are today.”
