Renee Nicole Good ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis / Facebook
New details have emerged about Renee Nicole Good, the 37-year-old woman fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis on Wednesday, including that she had “trained” to do “ICE Watch” and disrupt the agency’s operations.
Leftist activists and media figures have been attempting to paint a picture of Good as an innocent mom who had just dropped her kid off at school and landed in the wrong place, but she was actually a militant activist, deeply embedded in the “ICE Watch” network, according to a new report.
“ICE Watch” is a loose alliance of radicalized anti-ICE activists dedicated to monitoring, documenting, and actively resisting the agency. They track and follow agents, film them, and often dox their vehicles and other identifying information.
On Thursday, The New York Post reported, “Good, who moved to the city last year, linked up with the anti-ICE activists through her 6-year-old son’s woke charter school, which boasts that it puts ‘social justice first’ and ‘involving kids in political and social activism,’ multiple local sources said.”
“She was a warrior. She died doing what was right,” a mother named Leesa, whose child attends the same school, told paper. “To listen to commands, to know your rights, to whistle when you see an ICE agent.”
“[Renee Good] was trained against these ICE agents — what to do, what not to do, it’s a very thorough training,” Leesa added.
The report continued:
Good and her wife Rebecca, 40, who were raising the child together and sent the boy to Southside Family Charter School, a K-5 academy opened in 1972 which has from its inception been “unabashedly dedicated to social justice education,” according to co-founder Susie Oppenheim.
It was through her involvement in the school community that Good became involved in “ICE Watch” — a loose coalition of activists dedicated to disrupting ICE raids in the sanctuary city.
He said current event topics like the killing of George Floyd were regular parts of the curriculum, and that last month students took a field trip where they learned about “aboriginal issues” — a reference to the indigneous people of far-away Australia.
Good and her wife had even briefly moved to Canada after the 2024 election out of opposition to President Donald Trump.
According to DHS, Good attempted to “weaponize” her vehicle by trying to ram into agents, prompting one officer to fire three “defensive shots” in fear for his life and the safety of others.
U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem went even further and labeled Good’s actions as an act of “domestic terrorism” and defended the agent’s response as justified.
The shooting sparked massive protests in Minneapolis and beyond.
The woman who stated she was Good’s wife at the scene of the incident claimed in a witness video that she had forced her to attend the protest.
“I made her come down here; it’s my fault. They just shot my wife,” the woman says.
The Star Tribune reports, “Good had previously been married to Timmy Ray Macklin Jr., who died in 2023 at the age of 36. Macklin’s father, Timmy Ray Macklin Sr., was shocked to hear the news that Good had been shot and killed.”
“He said Good and his son had a child who is now 6 years old.”
“There’s nobody else in his life,” Macklin said. “I’ll drive. I’ll fly. To come and get my grandchild.”

Federal Prosecutors Launch New Criminal Investigation Into Letitia James
Federal prosecutors have launched a new criminal investigation into New York Attorney General Letitia James over financial transactions with her longtime hairdresser, Iyesata Marsh.
The New York Times and CBS reported that the new investigation, which is still in the early stages, is being led by the Northern District of New York and the Western District of Louisiana.
Marsh was indicted by a grand jury in the Western District of Louisiana in December on charges of bank fraud and identity theft related to the purchase of a Land Rover.
The New York Times reported:
Federal prosecutors are investigating financial transactions involving the New York attorney general, Letitia James, and her longtime hairdresser, opening a new front in their pursuit of one of President Trump’s perceived enemies, according to people with knowledge of the matter.
The hairdresser, Iyesata Marsh, has known Ms. James for years. Last month, Ms. Marsh was indicted in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana and charged with bank fraud and aggravated identity theft in connection with the purchase of a Land Rover about three years ago. Court documents accuse Ms. Marsh and her nephew of using the identity and personal information of an unidentified woman in Ohio to buy the vehicle.
The investigation is still in the early stages, but prosecutors are interested in talking to Ms. Marsh about past financial transactions involving Ms. James or her campaign, according to people familiar with the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe the inquiry.
Last month, a federal grand jury in Virginia declined to Letitia James for mortgage fraud.
It was the second time federal prosecutors failed to secure an indictment against Letitia James after her other case was dismissed.
James was previously charged with two crimes: Bank Fraud under 18 U.S.C. Section 1344 and False Statements to a Financial Institution under 18 U.S.C. Section 1014.
The charges were related to a mortgage loan on a property James owns in Norfolk, Virginia, referred to as “the Perrone Property.”

Far-Left Gov. Tim Walz Mobilizes National Guard as Minneapolis Spirals Into Chaos
“Tim Walz” by Gage Skidmore, CC BY-SA 2.0
Radical Democrat Governor Tim Walz is at it again.
Years after he sat back and watched Minneapolis burn during the 2020 BLM riots, Walz has suddenly found his “authority” to mobilize the Minnesota National Guard.
As TGP reported at the time, Walz’s delay in 2020 allowed rioters to torch the Third Precinct and cause over $500 million in damages.
Now, facing a new crisis, the Governor appears to be playing the same political games, pleading for “peace” while simultaneously attacking federal law enforcement.
On Wednesday, Walz issued a “warning order” for the National Guard following a fatal officer-involved shooting involving a federal ICE agent in South Minneapolis.
Walz explicitly described the order as a “heads-up” for the troops to begin preparations for potential deployment.
Walz is framing this preparation as a protective measure for Minnesotans against what he calls “sensationalized” federal operations. He stated, “These National Guard troops are our National Guard troops.”
On Thursday, Walz is now positioning the National Guard not just to stop rioters, but as a “heads up” against what he calls a “war” being waged by federal agencies against his state.
According to the press release:
Out of an Abundance of Caution and in Coordination with Local Officials, Governor Walz Authorizes Minnesota National Guard to be Staged and Ready to Support Local Law Enforcement If Needed
The National Guard remains ready if needed to help keep the peace, ensure public safety, and allow for peaceful demonstrations
Governor Tim Walz has authorized the Minnesota National Guard to be staged and ready to support local and state law enforcement in protecting critical infrastructure and maintaining public safety following a shooting involving federal immigration enforcement agents in south Minneapolis.
Executive Order 26-01 provides the ability for the Minnesota National Guard to protect critical infrastructure and to assist local law enforcement with additional tasks as requested. The state is providing additional law enforcement resources in a coordinated response to aid local law enforcement. The Minnesota State Patrol has mobilized 85 members of its Mobile Response Team to support law enforcement efforts in the Twin Cities.
“Minnesotans have met this moment. Thousands of people have peacefully made their voices heard. Minnesota: thank you. We saw powerful peace,” said Governor Walz. “We have every reason to believe that peace will hold. Yesterday, I directed the National Guard to be ready should they be needed. They remain ready in the event they are needed to help keep the peace, ensure public safety, and allow for peaceful demonstrations.”
Executive Order 26-01 authorizes the Adjutant General to place National Guard personnel, equipment, and facilities on state active duty to coordinate and support public safety and security services in Minnesota. The Guard will serve in a support role, focused on protecting property, safeguarding critical infrastructure, and allowing local law enforcement to remain focused on community safety and investigative responsibilities.
Executive Order 26-01 provides access to an additional tool that can include preparation and planning in support of local and state law enforcement and emergency management agencies, as well as the support of local law enforcement efforts to protect life and property, ensure public safety, and protect freedom of speech by allowing for peaceful demonstrations. The post Far-Left Gov. Earlier this week, nine Republicans voted to advance this measure after Jeffries filed a discharge petition, giving the Democrats power to force the vote.
“The people’s house has just delivered a decisive victory for the American people,” Jeffries said.
“The cynics said it was impossible to do but where I’m from, difficult takes a day, impossible takes a week,” he added.

President Trump has repeatedly called for the ‘Affordable Care Act’ subsidies to be given to the consumers rather than the ‘fat cat’ insurance companies.
“I am recommending to Senate Republicans that the Hundreds of Billions of Dollars currently being sent to money sucking Insurance Companies in order to save the bad Healthcare provided by ObamaCare, BE SENT DIRECTLY TO THE PEOPLE SO THAT THEY CAN PURCHASE THEIR OWN, MUCH BETTER, HEALTHCARE, and have money left over,” Trump recently said in a Truth Social post.

WATCH: “I’m Shameless! I’ll Beg!” – Senator John Kennedy LITERALLY GETS ON HIS KNEES on Senate Floor, BEGS John Thune to Stop the Steal and Pass Second Reconciliation Bill
Sen. John Kennedy drops to his knees on the Senate floor, pleading for action from RINO Thune.
Republican Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) took to the Senate floor on Thursday and did the unthinkable: he got down on his knees to beg Senate Majority Leader John Thune to take action against the massive fraud plaguing our country.
While the establishment GOP leadership drags its feet, Kennedy is demanding a second reconciliation bill to gut the corrupt welfare system and put an end to the rampant stealing of American tax dollars.
Senator Kennedy denounces a massive $9 billion Medicaid and welfare fraud scheme in Minnesota, primarily centered in Minneapolis among individuals of Somali ancestry.
According to the Senator, the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) estimates that between $250 billion and $521 billion of the over $1 trillion in annual U.S. welfare spending is lost to fraud.
With the ongoing scandal about massive fraud in Minnesota, Kennedy made it clear that regular order isn’t going to cut it. We need action, and we need it NOW.“We need to do another reconciliation bill to fix the welfare system and stop the stealing. Stop the stealing. And we can do it with all Republican votes,” Kennedy said on the floor.
“So please, Senator Thune, pretty please. As I’ve said before. I’m shameless. I’ll beg. I’ll get down on my knees.”Then, he did what no one expected. To emphasize the dire need for this legislation, Kennedy physically knelt on the Senate floor.
“John, please bring another reconciliation bill. We can do so much, but we can start with fixing welfare fraud. Please, John, please let us do the bill.”

Despite Kennedy’s desperate plea, Senate Majority Leader John Thune seems content to play nice with the Democrats.
According to the Daily Caller, citing a report from Fox News, Thune claimed that using reconciliation—which allows Republicans to bypass the Democrat filibuster—was “not ideal.”
“I always think the best solution, if possible, is to try and do things through regular order,” Thune said.
The Daily Caller also noted that back in December, House Ways and Means Chairman Jason Smith (R-MO) claimed he didn’t “see a path” for a second bill.
Even President Trump suggested in December that a second package might not be needed after the historic tax cuts enacted in July.
Still, momentum for a second reconciliation push appears to be building in the House. Speaker Mike Johnson revealed on The Scott Jennings Show that GOP leadership is actively exploring what priorities could be squeezed into another reconciliation bill early in the year.“I’m working right now very methodically, carefully to determine what of our priorities we can squeeze into a second reconciliation bill with the idea we’d move that early in the year,” Johnson said.
Speaker Johnson gets it. Senator Kennedy gets it. It’s time for the Senate leadership to wake up.
We have the majority. We have the mandate. Stop the stalling, Thune. Pass the bill!

Disgraced Hollywood Mogul Harvey Weinstein Negotiating Plea Deal To Avoid Third Sex Crimes Trial
Incarcerated Harvey is negotiating a plea deal to avoid yet another trial.
From Tinseltown to Rikers Island, one sex crime at a time.
The #MeToo movement came and went, but for former Hollywood powerhouse Harvey Weinstein, nothing was ever the same.
Enfeebled Weinstein is locked up in Rikers Island, and he only leaves to appear in court, where new accusations may pile on to his already lengthy sentence.
Today, he appeared in Manhattan court looking ‘deathly pale’, while his lawyer was involved in talks about a plea deal that would avoid a third sex crimes trial.
The New York Post reported:
“The 73-year-old disgraced Hollywood producer was brought into the courtroom in a wheelchair for a hearing on whether he will face trial for a third time on charges of raping an aspiring actress inside a Midtown hotel.”Harvey Weinstein Weighs Guilty Plea As He Says Rikers Feels Like “March to My Death” https://t.co/y4qsPS18Or
— The Hollywood Reporter (@THR) January 8, 2026The judge rejected Weinstein’s bid to AGAIN overturn his 2025 conviction (like the 2020 conviction), deciding that jury tensions were typical and handled properly despite his claims of bullying.
Judge Curtis Farber did set a March 3 trial date for the remaining count, but Weinstein’s lawyer, Arthur Aidala, announced that the convicted ex-Miramax boss was open to plea talks.
“’Your honor, I did have the chance to speak with Mr. Weinstein, and I would like to pursue plea negotiations’, Aidala said.”
Jessica Mann.
“At a third trial, Jessica Mann would be set to testify again about the once-powerful studio boss allegedly raping her in 2013 at the DoubleTree hotel.
Weinstein was convicted of raping Mann at his first trial, in 2020, and of forcing oral sex on former Project Runway production assistant Mimi Haley. But the verdict was overturned in a bombshell ruling from New York’s highest appeals court. At the retrial, Weinstein was convicted again on the Haley charge – which carries a sentence of up to 25 years in prison – but the jury could not agree on the Mann rap.”Harvey Weinstein’s bid for new trial rejected by judge in NYC https://t.co/KI3FeyrPWM pic.twitter.com/QfydLAmwF0
