A Georgia man turned his Biden-issued Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award into a bold statement of rejection on Thursday.
While President Trump visited The Varsity restaurant in Rome, Georgia, stopping to connect with locals amid discussions on the economy, election integrity, and upcoming midterms, the unnamed patriot approached with his award in hand.
“That’s a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award, but I don’t want Biden’s name on it. So can you help me out?” the man asked President Trump.
Trump grinned, examined the document, and replied, “Yeah? You want me to cross it off?”
He then added his own authentic handwritten one with a Sharpie.
“Mine’s not an auto pen. His is. This is an auto pen. See that?” Trump said, highlighting the nature of Biden’s mechanical signatures.
“You think he signed it? He didn’t sign that… Crazy man,” Trump added, while signing the certificate. “Okay, now you have a real lifetime achievement award.”
The exchange, captured on video, exploded across social media within hours.

President Trump on Thursday arrived in Rome, Georgia, to deliver remarks on the economy as the race for Georgia’s 14th Congressional District heats up.
The seat, formerly held by Marjorie Taylor Greene, is up for grabs in a March 10 special election.
Trump visited The Varsity ahead of his speaking engagement and charmed the restaurant workers.
The Varsity is known for its hot dogs and burgers.
The workers beamed and surrounded President Trump as he walked behind the counter.
One of the workers told President Trump she has been working at The Varsity for 45 years.
“45 years? You look too young for that!” President Trump said as he charmed the ladies.

While speaking to a crowd at the White House for Black History Month on Wednesday, Trump surprised everyone with a big announcement about Dr. Ben Carson.
He revealed that Carson is going to receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom, an honor he certainly deserves.
You could tell that the crowd approved on this news when Trump told them it was going to happen.

President Donald Trump announced that former Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Secretary Ben Carson will receive the Presidential Medal of Freedom during a White House event marking the 100th anniversary of Black History Month as attendees at one point broke into chants of “four more years.”
“Ben’s getting the Presidential Medal of Freedom,” Trump said. “It’s the highest award you can have outside of the Congressional Medal of Honor.”
Trump said Carson would receive the nation’s top civilian honor at a future ceremony, telling him, “Ben, I’ll be seeing you back here pretty soon. I think you’re going to get the award.”
The announcement came as Trump mixed tributes and cultural references with policy and political claims, including criminal justice reform, crime reduction and border enforcement while hosting “many exceptional African American leaders and patriots” at the White House.

New York City’s new Democratic Socialist (communist) Mayor Zohran Mamdani has been in the news for days now because he is having trouble balancing the gaps in the city’s annual budget. It turns out that providing stuff for ‘free’ is actually pretty expensive.
Mamdani is threatening to raise property taxes as he struggles to come up with billions in additional revenue.
The entire affair has been a stark reminder of the stunning size of the city’s budget and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has chimed in to add some amazing perspective.

His schtick of sounding reluctant was disingenuous at best: the Democrat playbook is clear: tax, spend, panic about deficits, continue to raise taxes.

A Delta Airlines flight from Houston to Atlanta was forced to turn around and make an emergency landing after a passenger became unruly and began assaulting fellow passengers.
One victim, John Lemastus, said the incident began about thirty minutes into the flight from Houston.
“I’m just sitting there, and a guy walks aggressively by me and aggressively back, and he bumps into my shoulder and starts wailing on my head,” Lemastus told 11Alive.
“He punched me three times and then walked back and then started attacking another gentleman behind me.”
“No words, no nothing, never seen the gentleman before in my life,” Lemastus added. “He started screaming at the gentleman behind me, kind of like in tongues, and everyone assumed he was just kind of not mentally there.”
Lemastus further said it took seven people to subdue him, and zip ties were used to restrain him.
The man reportedly attempted to access the cockpit, according to Lemastus, though Delta Airlines said he did not make the attempt.
Still, the pilots were heard on the air traffic control radio, stating that “We had a passenger get up and try to access the cockpit.”
Another passenger described the scene, saying he was “yanking” another man by his shirt and hair, and that “he wanted to speak to the pilot.”
Video from passengers shows crew members and other passengers attempting to subdue the man as he screams.
Police later led the man off the plane in handcuffs.

Late night host Jimmy Kimmel is planning to host a fundraising event for House Democrats to give them a boost as they head into the 2026 midterm elections.
This is not surprising, but it is clarifying about one thing. This is Jimmy Kimmel’s real job. At least, this is what Jimmy Kimmel sees as his real job. That part about hosting a late night show is secondary.
Kimmel believes that his real mission is to help Democrats regain power so that they can stop Trump’s agenda.

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel will reportedly headline an upcoming fundraiser to benefit House Democrats.
According to New York Times reporter Teddy Schleifer, Kimmel will be the special guest for a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee benefit dinner next month.
Schleifer shared an invitation for the event on Tuesday, revealing that it will take place in Los Angeles on Mar. 10 and also feature House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Ticket prices range from $25,000 to over $300,000.
According to Politico, two people “familiar with the fundraiser who were granted anonymity to discuss the details” confirmed the event.
Kimmel has been a longtime supporter of the Democratic Party and has taken part in fundraiser events to support Democratic candidates.
In June 2024, Kimmel led a similar Los Angeles event to raise money for then-President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign. Celebrity guests included George Clooney, Julia Roberts and former President Barack Obama, and the event reportedly raised over $30 million.
That event with Obama and Clooney played a direct role in the eventual effort to boot Joe Biden from the 2024 election.

President Trump on Wednesday praised Czech Deputy Prime Minister Petr Macinka for his “great” performance at the Munich Security Conference, where he obliterated Hillary Clinton and her divisive liberal policies.
In a viral moment on Sunday, Clinton repeatedly interrupted the Czech official’s attempt to speak at a panel titled “The West-West Divide: What Remains of Common Values,” and he demolished her. “Can I please finish my points? I’m sorry that it makes you, makes you nervous. I’m really sorry for that,” Macinka said to Clinton as she screeched about gender equality, transgender rights, and Ukraine.

Two innocent American citizens have been rotting in a brutal, third-world West African prison for nearly two months after being ambushed by a heavily armed military squad during a routine fuel stop.
Now, facing horrific conditions with no end in sight, they are begging President Donald Trump to step in and save them.
Veteran pilot Brad Schlenker, 63, of Illinois, and fellow American pilot Fabio Espinal Nunez, 33, of New Jersey, were operating a Gulfstream IV charter flight transporting a Brazilian family from Suriname to Dubai when they made a scheduled refueling stop in Conakry, Guinea in late December 2025.
They did everything by the book. They communicated with air traffic control.
They requested—and received—clearance to land at Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport in the Republic of Guinea for a simple refueling stop.
Instead of a fuel truck, they were met by a terrifying military ambush.
As soon as the plane touched the tarmac, nearly 100 heavily armed Guinean military personnel swarmed the aircraft. They pointed AK-47s at the terrified American pilots, screaming at them in French, and dragged them off the runway.
The two American pilots were immediately detained.
Guinean authorities later accused the pilots of:
Violating national sovereignty
Entering airspace illegally
Making an unauthorized landing
Endangering national defense
Aerotime reported:
A family source familiar with the trip told AeroTime that the crew believed required permits for the fuel stop had been arranged by a local handler, raising questions about whether the detention stems from a paperwork failure or something more deliberate. The same source alleged that, after initially being held at a police station for roughly 10 days, the pilots were moved into Conakry’s prison system and threatened with a sentence of up to 20 years.
Conditions inside the prison have become a central point of concern for relatives. Stevenson told People.com that the facility is severely overcrowded and detainees rely on outside support for food. She described dirt floors, limited sanitation, and prisoners taking turns sleeping. A US State Department spokesperson said that the department is aware of the detention and that consular officers have visited the pilots multiple times since late December 2025.
The pilots’ families are now publicly urging the Trump administration to intervene. In an interview with CBS News, Schlenker directly appealed to President Trump for help.

The U.S. State Department and the U.S. Embassy in Guinea released the following statement via WIFR:
The Trump Administration has no higher priority than the safety and security of American citizens.
Whenever a U.S. citizen is detained abroad, the Department works to provide consular assistance in accordance with our authorities under U.S. and international law.
The Department of State is actively providing consular assistance and remains engaged on this case and in contact with the families of these detained Americans.
Since their detention on December 30, consular officers have visited them four times.
Due to privacy and other considerations, we have no further comment.
