In a huge blow to Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, a federal appeals court on Thursday blocked California’s law that banned masks for ICE agents.
California recently banned federal law enforcement officers from covering their faces with masks.
The Trump Administration filed a lawsuit against California and argued the state’s new law violated the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause.
Last week, US District Judge Christina Snyder, a Clinton appointee, agreed with the Trump Administration’s assertion that California’s law violated the Supremacy Clause and temporarily blocked the law.
On Thursday, at the request of the DOJ, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals expanded the block on California’s ban on masks for ICE agents.
The law requiring federal officers display their ID/badge numbers is now blocked.
The three-judge panel included: Nguyen (Obama), Bennett (Trump), Collins (Trump).

US Attorney General Pam Bondi celebrated the win.
“The 9th Circuit has now issued a FULL stay blocking California’s ban on masks for federal law enforcement agents,” Bondi said.
“Law enforcement officers risk their lives for us, only to be doxxed by radical anti-police activists. Unacceptable,” Bondi said.
“This crucial ruling protects our brave men and women in the field. We will not stop fighting bad laws like these in California and across the country,” she added.

Bill Essayli, the First Assistant US Attorney for the Central District of California zinged the California Democrats.
“The state of California needs to familiarize itself with the Supremacy Clause. It does not have the authority to regulate federal agents. This is another key win for the Justice Department,” he said.

The Department of Justice was decorated on Thursday with multiple banners with the President’s face and the “Make America Safe Again” slogan. 
At least two corners of the building have a menacing photo of Trump watching over the streets of DC, almost symbolic of his crime crackdown last Summer.
The Gateway Pundit captured footage of a second banner at the Northeast corner of the building being unfurled on Thursday afternoon.

The move is already outraging the left, but the Department of Justice says it’s meant to celebrate the 250th year since our country’s founding and Trump’s leadership.
A Department of Justice spokesperson told news outlets, “We are proud at this Department of Justice to celebrate 250 years of our great country and our historic work to make America safe again at President Trump’s direction.”

Footage of billionaire Les Wexner being questioned by the House Oversight Committee over his relations with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been made public.
Les Wexner was sworn under oath on Tuesday, and during his nearly five-hour-long testimony, he denied having witnessed or having any knowledge of Epstein’s crimes.
Wexner, however, did reveal how he initially trusted Epstein as his personal finance manager.
The former Victoria’s Secret CEO shared that he trusted Epstein as his financial advisor due to “his experience at an industrial level, like working at a big company like Bear Sterns, and his personal work for the Rothschild Family in France.”
Wexner continued, “Specifically, I spoke to Élie de Rothschild. I mentioned that earlier. So he represented their whole family.”

Reuters previously reported that Ariane de Rothschild, who is the head of the family-owned Edmond de Rothschild Swiss bank, exchanged messages with Jeffrey Epstein dozens of times and even agreed to multiple meetings with him after he was convicted of being a sex offender.
Later in the deposition, one member of the Oversight Committee asked Wexner point-blank if Epstein ever provided him with a woman for his sexual entertainment.
Wexner responded, “Absolutely not.”

Despite a lot of denial during his deposition, Wexner did admit to going to Epstein’s private island.
Per CNBC:
Wexner admitted visiting Epstein’s private island in the U.S. Virgin Islands, but said he did so only once, when his wife and young children “stopped for a few hours one morning while we were on a cruise on our boat.”
Wexner said he revoked Epstein’s power of attorney in September 2007, months before Epstein pleaded guilty in Florida to a state charge of soliciting a minor for prostitution.
The Wexner Foundation told CNBC in a statement, “We hold in our hearts the survivors of Epstein’s horrific crimes and pray for their healing and strength.”

An anti-ICE agitator stole an ambulance, packed it with gas cans and rammed the emergency vehicle into a DHS office in Meridian, Idaho.
Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea said the suspect stole the ambulance from St. Luke’s Hospital and poured accelerant inside of the vehicle.
“We want to emphasize that this was a serious criminal act,” Police Chief Basterrechea said.
“The theft and destruction of an emergency vehicle not only created a risk to responding personnel, but it also temporarily removed a critical medical resource from the community,” he said.
The police chief said “there has been a lot of rhetoric surrounding the Department of Homeland Security leasing office space at this location.”
“Comments on social media, such as ‘property damage isn’t violence,’ is absolutely false,” he said.
“This was absolutely an act of violence, and if the suspect had not been interrupted, there is no doubt this building would have been burned, putting the lives of first responders and others at risk,” he added.
The unidentified suspect is still at large.

Fox News reported:
State and federal authorities are investigating after a suspect allegedly stole an ambulance, loaded up staged gas cans and plowed the emergency vehicle into a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office in Idaho — in what investigators believe was an attempted arson attack.
Just after 11 p.m. Wednesday, an ambulance was stolen from a bay at St. Luke’s West hospital.
The suspect, who has not yet been identified, drove the ambulance through the parking lot and retrieved gas cans that were staged in nearby vegetation, according to Meridian Police Chief Tracy Basterrechea.
The suspect then drove the ambulance directly into the North Portico building, which houses DHS offices, Basterrechea said.
Investigators believe the suspect poured an accelerant inside and around the outside of the ambulance.
However, the suspect was unable to ignite the accelerant before being scared off by responding agencies, according to Basterrechea.

The House Oversight Committee released a five-hour deposition today of L Brands co-founder, Leslie Wexner.  The Victoria’s Secret billionaire was allegedly one of Jeffrey Epstein’s closest associates, as the late sex-trafficker was tasked with managing large sums of money and was granted power of attorney over Wexner’s fortune.
Rep. Robert Garcia claims that “approximately…a billion dollars” was either given to or provided in stocks to Epstein by Wexner.  Additionally, Wexner transferred a $56-77 million dollar home in Manhattan, the Herbert N. Straus House, to Epstein.
During the deposition released by the House Oversight GOP account on X, a question was asked of Wexner regarding Epstein having other clients in addition to him.
Wexner went on to give a long-winded answer about how Epstein operated and inventoried Wexner’s estate.  “I didn’t count forks and spoons…Jeffrey said, ‘People could be walking out with forks and spoons.’  Gee, that’s a good idea.  We should have an inventory.”
Wexner said he hired a house manager who had run the U.S. Embassy in Rome.
At the conclusion of his long answer, Wexner’s attorney leaned over and began to whisper in his ear.  The mic was still hot and picked up the warning:
“I’ll f***ing kill you if you answer another question with more than five words, ok?”
Both Wexner and the attorney chuckled after they went back to their respective places at the table.

At another point in the deposition, Rep. Jasmine Crockett asked Wexner about President Trump’s relationship with Epstein, and whether or not he ever witnessed “Trump having a sexual relationship with a person who was introduced to him by Epstein or Maxwell?”
“No,” Wexner responded.
“Has Donald Trump ever discussed Epstein with you?” she followed up.
Again, Wexner responded, “No.”
Crockett proceeded to ask if Epstein ever discussed Trump with him, and vice versa.  Both times Wexner responded, “No.”

Les Wexner just cleared Trump with his testimony.
Crockett: “Did you ever see or become aware of Trump having a sexual relationship with a person who was introduced to him by Epstein or Maxwell?”
Wexner: “No”

Team USA’s women’s hockey squad delivered a gut-check performance Thursday night, storming back late in regulation before burying their longtime rivals from the north in sudden-death overtime to capture Olympic gold with a dramatic 2–1 victory.
After trailing deep into the third period, Team USA forced overtime when captain Hilary Knight found the back of the net in the final minutes of regulation to tie the game at 1–1 and keep America’s gold medal hopes alive.
From there, it became a winner-take-all battle in 3-on-3 sudden-death overtime, where one goal would determine who stood atop the hockey world for the next four years.
And Team USA didn’t waste its opportunity.
With the Olympic arena roaring and the stakes at their absolute peak, the Americans capitalized in overtime to secure the golden goal, sealing a 2–1 win over Canada and reclaiming supremacy in women’s hockey in the latest chapter of the fiercest rivalry in international sport.

The women’s hockey gold medal is coming back to the United States.
The Americans came back from a late deficit to win a 2-1 thriller in overtime over their archnemesis in Canada.
The Americans started the second period on a power play from a penalty at the end of the first, but it was Canada who scored shorthanded for the first goal of the game. It was the first goal the Americans allowed in the knockout stage, ending a stretch of three hours, 52 minutes and seven seconds of shutout hockey.
The Canadians got on the power play late in the third while still keeping the Americans scoreless, but the U.S. was able to kill it off with just over four minutes to go. With the puck in Canada’s zone and about 2:30 to go, the Americans pulled their goalie, and the risk proved worthy, as captain Hilary Knight deflected a wrister from the top of the zone to tie the game and eventually force overtime. After regulation, shots were 29-28 in favor of Canada.
Four minutes and seven seconds into the overtime period, Megan Keller pulled off a nifty move and squeaked the puck past the Canadian goaltender to preserve the gold. It’s the Americans’ first gold medal since 2018.

President Trump went off on cheating Democrats during a fiery speech at Coosa Steel Plant in Rome, Georgia on Thursday.
“I have a new one to add. Voter ID. The Democrats don’t want to give us voter ID because they want to cheat!” Trump said.

After departing Georgia, President Trump credited his tariffs for the thriving steel plant.
“Just left Coosa Steel Plant, in Rome, Georgia, which is now working 24 hours around the clock, after it was down to just one hour a year ago,” Trump said.

President Donald Trump just dropped a massive truth bomb aboard Air Force One, and this time, it’s out of this world.
The 47th President leveled a serious accusation against Barack Obama, claiming the former president recklessly, and potentially illegally, spilled top-secret information regarding extraterrestrial life during a recent media appearance.
The firestorm began when Obama appeared on the No Lie podcast with far-left activist Brian Tyler Cohen.
During a “speed round” of questions, Cohen asked the 44th president point-blank: “Are aliens real?”
Without hesitation, the 44th president responded:

“They’re real.”

Obama quickly followed up with a smirk:

“But I haven’t seen them. And they’re not being kept in Area 51. There’s no underground facility—unless there’s this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.”

Realizing he may have said too much, Obama scrambled to Instagram 48 hours later, claiming his answer was just about “cosmic math” and “statistical odds.”
Obama wrote:

“I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it’s gotten attention let me clarify. Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there’s life out there. But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we’ve been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!”

Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump was asked by Fox News’ Peter Doocy about Obama’s claims.
Peter Doocy:

“Barack Obama said that aliens are real. Have you seen any evidence of nonhuman visitors to Earth?”

Trump:

“Well, he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that.”

Doocy:

“So aliens are real?”

Trump:

“Well, I don’t know if they’re real or not. I can tell you he gave classified information. He’s not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake. He took it out of classified information.”

Trump declined to confirm whether extraterrestrial contact has occurred, but made clear his concern centered on Obama’s alleged disclosure:

“I don’t have an opinion on it. I never talk about it.”

When pressed on presidential declassification powers, Trump added:

“I may get out of trouble by declassifying.”

He later quipped:

“We know illegal aliens… Only illegals.”
