Transgender double-murderer Mia Bailey, who executed his own parents last year, has converted to Islam while in custody and begged for the death penalty as “atonement,” instead a judge spared his life, sentencing the 30-year-old to 25 years to life instead.
Bailey, born Collin Troy Bailey, legally changed his name and sex in 2023 before unleashing a premeditated rampage on June 18, 2024.
Armed with a handgun, he broke into his parents’ Washington City home, fatally shooting Gail Bailey, 69, four times and Joseph Bailey, 70, twice in the head.
He then fired through a locked bedroom door at his brother Dustin and his wife, who miraculously escaped unharmed.
After fleeing, Bailey was captured following a 12-hour manhunt near a Mormon temple, confessing without remorse, “I would do it again. I hate them.”
Bailey was accused of assaulting two correctional officers in October 2024.
As the Gateway Pundit previously uncovered, oddly, Bailey was arrested just minutes away from the residence shared by Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative icon Charlie Kirk, and his transgender partner, Lance Twiggs. Their parents also resided in the same town.
Robinson’s parents and Bailey’s parents both lived in Washington, Utah, approximately 5 minutes apart, in a small town of 27,993 people as of 2020.

Radical left-wing Jamie Raskin is once again pushing a sweeping overhaul of America’s voting system, this time by reintroducing a federal mandate for so-called “ranked-choice voting” (RCV) just as the country barrels toward another high-stakes midterm election cycle.
Raskin posted a video on X on Monday, pitching ranked-choice voting as a cure-all for American politics.
The video was released after he reintroduced H.R. 6589, a bill that would mandate ranked-choice voting in elections for the U.S. House and Senate nationwide.
“I believe our Ranked Choice Voting Act will not only guarantee majority winners across America but dramatically reduce negative politics and promote positivity in our elections,” Raskin wrote on X.
In his video, Raskin argued that RCV changes campaign incentives by encouraging candidates to seek second- and third-choice support instead of attacking opponents.
Under the system, voters rank candidates in order of preference. If no candidate receives a majority of first-choice votes, the lowest vote-getter is eliminated and ballots are “redistributed” to remaining candidates until someone crosses the 50 percent threshold.
Raskin even praised races where candidates who finished second in the first round ultimately “catapulted ahead” after vote redistribution.

In Alaska, where RCV flipped a Republican seat to Democrat Mary Peltola despite 60% of voters backing GOP candidates, the system exhausted ballots and ignored second choices for top vote-getters.
In New York, socialist Zohran Mamdani led on election night with 43.5% of first-choice votes, but after several rounds of eliminations and redistributions, he was declared the winner with 56%, while Andrew Cuomo finished with 44%.
A study of Maine elections found that, of 98 recent ranked choice elections, 60 percent of the victors did not win by a majority of the total votes cast.
RCV opens doors to fraud and manipulation. The multi-round tabulation delays create gaps ripe for accusations of tampering, while exhausted ballots mean winners often lack true majority support.
Sites like RCVScam.com expose how it lets initial also-rans steal victories, undermining “one person, one vote.”
In 2025 alone, Idaho, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, and South Carolina prohibited ranked-choice voting, joining 11 other states for a total of 17 bans.
It is a scam, and Americans should push back hard.

The DOJ responded to the latest outrage after the Department released the second trove of Epstein files on Tuesday.
A handwritten prison letter from Jeffrey Epstein to fellow serial child molester Larry Nassar, wherein he claims Trump shared “our love of young, nubile girls,” is fake.
Nassar was previously the team doctor of the US women’s national gymnastics team.
The letter created a firestorm.
The Wall Street Journal ran with the letter.

Later Tuesday, the Justice Department said the FBI already confirmed the letter is fake”
The FBI has confirmed this alleged letter from Jeffrey Epstein to Larry Nassar is FAKE. The fake letter was received by the jail, and flagged for the FBI at the time. The FBI made this conclusion based on the following facts:
-The writing does not appear to match Jeffrey Epstein’s.
-The letter was postmarked three days after Epstein’s death out of Northern Virginia, when he was jailed in New York.
-The return address did not list the jail where Epstein was held and did not include his inmate number, which is required for outgoing mail.
This fake letter serves as a reminder that just because a document is released by the Department of Justice does not make the allegations or claims within the document factual. Nevertheless, the DOJ will continue to release all material required by law.

In yet another tragic example of how liberal bail reform and leftist groups are endangering American communities, a career criminal in Cleveland, Ohio, was released from jail thanks to a nonprofit tied to Black Lives Matter – only to allegedly murder a complete stranger less than two weeks later.
According to reports, 25-year-old Donnie Allen, a thug with a rap sheet including at least 10 arrests stretching back to 2019, many at public transit stations, was busted on December 4 for drug possession and breaking and entering at a Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority (RTA) station.
Allen’s bond was set at $15,000, but the radical nonprofit The Bail Project stepped in to foot part of the bill, springing him free just days later.
On December 14, Allen allegedly gunned down 47-year-old Ben McComas in a senseless shooting at the Puritas and West 150th Street Rapid station.

McComas didn’t stand a chance.
Allen now faces aggravated murder charges, with his bond initially set at $1 million before being slashed to a measly $5,000 by Judge Joy Kennedy, the same judge who last year preached about “bail reform” to fix “inequities” in the system, saying it must “promote equal access to justice and prevent unnecessary pretrial detention.”
“Bail reform is necessary to address issues of inequities within the criminal justice system. I believe this is an ever-evolving matter that must constantly be addressed to promote equal access to justice and prevent unnecessary pretrial detention,” Kennedy said last year, according to a report from Fox News.

This isn’t just a one-off failure, it’s a pattern.
The Bail Project, which boasts about operating on donations from wealthy left-wing donors, was infamously called out by Tucker Carlson in 2020 for fueling BLM riots that tore apart cities across America. Their “model” claims to fight injustice, but in reality, it’s putting predators back on the streets to prey on law-abiding citizens.
Two members of Cleveland City Council have now called for a review of the bail process in response to McComas’ murder.
“We are grateful for the actions of the GCRTA and Cleveland Police Departments in apprehending a suspect. However, disturbing details about the suspect’s history with the justice system have come to light and demand further investigation,” wrote Cleveland City Councilmembers Brian Kazy and Charles Slife in a press release.
“According to public records, the individual in custody has a lengthy criminal history dating back years, including recent allegations of multiple violent crimes and charges for disrupting RTA services and official business,” the councilmembers added.
