US Southern Command kicked off the New Year with early fireworks, striking two more drug smuggling vessels on New Year’s Eve. 
The latest strikes killed five narco-terrorists, SOUTHCOM said in a statement.
At least 114 drug traffickers, likely smuggling the designated weapon of mass destruction, fentanyl, have been killed on board the 35 boats destroyed in the Caribbean Sea and Eastern Pacific during these operations since early September. It is unclear where the latest strike occurred.
Five boats have been taken out since yesterday, December 30.
Additionally, on Monday, President Trump confirmed that US forces conducted a land strike against a drug trafficking facility in Venezuela.
“There was a major explosion in the dock area where they load the boats up with drugs,” Trump told reporters at Mar-a-Lago.
The two boats on Wednesday got absolutely smoked.

US Southern Command said in a statement:
On Dec. 31, at the direction of @SecWar Pete Hegseth, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on two vessels operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations. Intelligence confirmed the vessels were transiting along known narco-trafficking routes and engaged in narco-trafficking. A total of five narco-terrorists were killed during these actions – three in the first vessel and two in the second.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, SOUTHCOM also took out three drug smuggling boats on Tuesday.
The boats were struck while traveling in a close formation as a convoy, and three narco-terrorists were killed.
“The remaining narco-terrorists abandoned the other two vessels, jumping overboard and distancing themselves before follow-on engagements sank their respective vessels,” SOUTHCOM said in a statement.

A defund-the-police organization bailed out a repeat domestic abuser who went on to strangle and slash his ex-girlfriend to death in front of their children.
Mohamed Adan, 36, had a documented history of violent assaults against Racheal Abraham, 36, the mother of two of his kids.
Adan was sentenced last week for the murder, and the prosecutor did not hold back in placing blame for Abraham’s death on the leftist activists who helped free him.
Despite clear warnings and multiple arrests, the Portland Freedom Fund, a now-defunct group dedicated to abolishing police and highlighting racial disparities in the bail system, paid $2,000 to secure his release.
Within days, Adan violated a no-contact order, attacked Abraham in her Portland apartment, and killed her by strangling her and slashing her face and arms.
In May 2022, Adan, high on methamphetamine and cocaine, strangled and punched Abraham in the head.
He was arrested again in June of that year, for another strangulation incident where he threatened, “I should kill you!”
Judge Benjamin Bushong released him on GPS monitoring, which Adan promptly removed.
On August 11, he was rearrested for beating Abraham with prayer beads.
Nine days later, on August 20, the Portland Freedom Fund stepped in, posting bail despite Abraham’s pleas to the court that “statistics show that strangulation cases lead to homicide. I don’t want to be a victim.”
Adan disabled another GPS tracker, hunted her down, and committed the murder while three of her children were home.
On Tuesday, Adan pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison with parole eligibility after 25 years.
Senior prosecutor Melissa Marrero didn’t mince words at the sentencing, saying, “The Portland Freedom Fund, thinking it knew better than law enforcement professionals, decided to bail him out. It cost her her life.”
The New York Post reports, “The Portland Freedom Fund, which aimed to ‘bring attention to the racial disparity in the cash bail system,’ shut down in September 2022.”
This Portland tragedy is far from an isolated incident.
Bail funds tied to leftist causes, often amplified during the 2020 Black Lives Matter protests, have repeatedly freed repeat offenders who go on to commit heinous crimes.
In one recent case, the BLM-linked Bail Project paid $500 to release Donnie Allen, a 25-year-old with at least 10 prior arrests since 2019, many involving violence at public transit stations.
Allen was out on bail for drug possession and breaking and entering when, just five days later on December 14, he allegedly shot and killed 47-year-old Ben McComas at a Cleveland transit station.
Allen now faces aggravated murder charges, but his bond was controversially reduced from $1 million to $5,000 by Judge Joy Kennedy, a bail reform advocate who has publicly stated that such policies are needed to address “inequities within the criminal justice system.”
Similar patterns emerge in other cases across the country:

George Howard was bailed out by the Minnesota Freedom Fund on a domestic assault charge in 2021. Three weeks later, he fatally shot Luis Damian Martinez Ortiz in a road-rage incident in Minneapolis and was charged with second-degree murder.
Michael Sendejo, a homeless man with a violent history, was released by the Northwest Community Bail Fund in Seattle in spring 2021 after assault and theft charges. In June 2021, he strangled and stabbed Bradley Arabie to death, leading to a second-degree murder conviction in October 2022.
Marcus Garvin was freed by The Bail Project in Indiana in January 2021 on reduced bail for stabbing a gas station customer. By summer 2021, he murdered his girlfriend, Christie Holt, during an argument and faces murder charges.
Jaycee Thompson, with nine felony convictions and 25 arrests, was bailed out by the Northwest Community Bail Fund in April 2022 for motor vehicle theft. In June 2022, he murdered Anthony Gonzalez during a crime spree in Seattle, facing charges including second-degree murder and kidnapping.
Kylan Houle, a repeat offender with 20 felony convictions, was released by the Northwest Community Bail Fund months before allegedly breaking into Damon Allen’s home in Skyway, Washington, in May 2022 and shooting him dead.

Bail funds surged in popularity and funding after George Floyd died in 2020, raising millions from celebrity donors and leftist activists.
Groups like the Minnesota Freedom Fund saw revenues explode from $231,000 in 2019 to $41.6 million in 2020, but investigations revealed that many bailed individuals violently reoffended.
It is clear that leftist virtue signaling has deadly consequences, and it’s time to hold those responsible accountable.

Since World War II, Europeans have consistently turned away from the Church, and public policy has become more secular and more liberal, with same-sex marriage, gender identity policies, and abortion becoming widespread.
Euthanasia and assisted suicide have become legal in several European countries. The Netherlands became the first country to legalize euthanasia in 2002, followed by Belgium the same year, Luxembourg in 2009, and Spain in 2021. Portugal passed a euthanasia law in May 2023, though it remains unimplemented pending government regulation.
In November 2024, the United Kingdom voted to advance assisted dying legislation for England and Wales that would allow terminally ill adults expected to die within six months to request assistance to end their lives. France’s parliament is debating assisted dying legislation as of 2025. Switzerland has permitted assisted suicide since 1942, though active euthanasia remains illegal. Germany, Austria, and Italy allow assisted suicide under certain conditions based on constitutional court rulings, though comprehensive legislation is still being developed in these countries.
Belgium is the most permissive country, having removed all age restrictions on euthanasia in 2014. Children of any age can request euthanasia if they are terminally ill, demonstrate understanding of their choice, and have parental consent.
The Netherlands allows euthanasia for minors aged 12-15 with parental consent, and ages 16-17 with parental consultation. Netherlands also permits euthanasia for infants under one year through the Groningen Protocol, and in 2024 extended this to children aged 1-12 who cannot consent themselves but are suffering from incurable terminal illnesses.
Twelve European countries allow legal gender recognition based on self-determination, permitting individuals to change their official gender marker on identity documents without medical requirements. In some countries, this extends to children and adolescents under 18. Policies vary, with requirements ranging from parental consent or court approval to minimum age thresholds, while some allow self-declaration and others require medical diagnosis.
All EU member states except Hungary, Latvia, and Romania provide access to hormone therapy (testosterone and estrogen) for gender transition purposes. Public health funding for gender transition varies across countries.
The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Denmark provide full coverage through national health insurance for gender transition hormone therapy and surgeries, though Denmark has some limitations on estrogen coverage.
Most other EU countries provide some level of public health coverage for gender transition procedures. Estonia, Lithuania, Croatia, Poland, Czech Republic, and Romania provide limited or no coverage for various gender transition procedures.
Croatia does not cover gender-affirming surgeries through national insurance at all. The Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, and Malta have the most comprehensive coverage for gender transition healthcare.
Eighteen EU member states permit puberty blockers for minors. Fourteen member states provide over 70 percent public health funding for puberty blockers. Almost all member states that allow puberty blockers also permit hormone therapy for minors, except Estonia and Slovenia. Two-thirds of EU countries still allow transgender youth at least some access to puberty blockers as of 2025.
Several European countries have recently restricted access to puberty blockers for minors. The United Kingdom banned puberty blockers for under-18s in December 2024, though patients already receiving them can continue and clinical trials are exempted. Sweden allows treatments for minors only within a research context and for exceptional cases since 2022.
Finland recommended in 2020 that minors first receive psychological support, with medical treatment only after being made aware of risks. France’s National Academy of Medicine recommended in 2022 the greatest reserve regarding puberty blockers for minors.
Norway’s Healthcare Investigation Board recommended in 2023 that puberty blockers be defined as experimental treatment. Germany’s 2025 guidelines discourage puberty blockers and reject surgeries for nonbinary adolescents, though the position on hormones is less clear.
Most European countries allow abortion on request, typically between 10 and 14 weeks. Fifteen countries have expanded abortion access since 2021. Sweden ranks highest for abortion access, scoring 94.6 percent on the European Abortion Policies Atlas, followed by France at 85.2 percent and the Netherlands at 80.3 percent. Public support for legal abortion reaches 95 percent in Sweden and at least 75 percent in nearly every European country, with Poland as an exception at 56 percent support.
France enshrined abortion as a right in its Constitution in 2024. Ireland, which until the 1970s was one of the most Catholic countries in the world, voted to repeal its abortion ban in a 2018 referendum.
At the opposite end of the spectrum, Andorra maintains a total ban with only one exception for life-saving necessity under general criminal law. Criminal penalties can reach up to 10 years imprisonment. Malta has nearly completely banned abortion with a 3.7 percent score, permitting the procedure only when a woman’s life is in grave jeopardy from medical complication or immediate risk of death.
Malta imposes criminal penalties of 18 months to three years for women and 18 months to four years for providers who perform abortions, including lifetime medical license bans.
Poland maintains highly restrictive laws with an 18.6 percent score. Abortion is legal only for rape, incest, or threat to the mother’s life or health. A 2020 Constitutional Tribunal ruling eliminated the fetal abnormality exception, creating a de facto ban. The ruling sparked the largest protests in Poland since the fall of communism.
Liechtenstein permits abortion only when there is a life or health risk or in cases of rape. Monaco allows abortion for life or health risk, rape, or severe fetal impairment. Monaco recently liberalized from a total ban, with around 5 to 10 cases per year expected.
The Faroe Islands currently restrict abortion to cases involving life risk, health risk, fetal defect, or rape. However, legislation passed in December 2025 will allow abortion on request up to 12 weeks beginning July 1, 2026.
Slovakia faces new constitutional amendments from September 2025 that will restrict abortion. Croatia has ongoing attempts to impose barriers on abortion access.
Hungary presents a complex situation. Abortion remains technically legal until 12 weeks of pregnancy for socioeconomic reasons, but the Orbán government has erected barriers. Hungary’s 2012 constitution states that fetal life must be protected from conception. A 2022 law requires women to listen to fetal vital signs or heartbeat before abortion.
The law mandates counseling sessions at least twice with the Family Protection Service and a 72-hour waiting period. Hungary banned medical abortion in 2012, allowing only surgical abortions. Mandatory documentation and referrals create administrative obstacles. High rates of conscientious objection among doctors and public hospitals increasingly refusing to provide abortions create long waiting lists, often over a month.
Italy passed a new law allowing anti-abortion groups into counseling centers, creating additional barriers to access.
Across Europe and across the world, while there are exceptions, Slovakia and Croatia are the only notable cases moving in a more restrictive direction. France constitutionalized abortion in 2024, Ireland shifted from deeply Catholic to repealing its abortion ban, and the Faroe Islands will liberalize abortion in 2026. Overall, the trend moves in one direction: greater liberalization and normalization of abortion and transgender ideology.

The US Military blew up three drug boats traveling in a close formation as a convoy on Tuesday.
It is unclear where the strikes occurred; the US Southern Command said the vessels were operating in international waters.
At least 3 narco-terrorists were killed in the strikes. The military did not say what happened to the remaining narco-terrorists who abandoned their vessels.

“The remaining narco-terrorists abandoned the other two vessels, jumping overboard and distancing themselves before follow-on engagements sank their respective vessels. Following the engagements, USSOUTHCOM immediately notified @USCG to activate the Search and Rescue system,” SOUTHCOM added.

The US Coast Guard has also seized at least two sanctioned Venezuelan oil tankers.

The Department of Justice is currently reviewing an additional 5.2 million pages of the Epstein files to comply with the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which was signed into law by President Trump in November.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, in a post on X, wrote, “DOJ lawyers from Main Justice, FBI, SDFL, and SDNY are working around the clock through the holidays, including Christmas and New Year’s, to review documents in compliance with federal law.”
He added, “It truly is an all-hands-on-deck approach, and we’re asking as many lawyers as possible to commit their time to review the documents that remain.”
Blanche further noted that the delay in releasing the additional pages of the Epstein Files is due to the lengthy process required to redact victims’ names.

The Justice Department is scrambling to review about 5.2 million pages related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to comply with a law passed by Congress, a source familiar with the operation told NBC News on Tuesday night.
That number is much higher than previously known.
The Justice Department was seeking to enlist roughly 400 employees in the effort to sift through the records, which is expected to run from Friday to Jan. 20, two sources familiar with the plan told NBC News.
Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Wednesday that lawyers from department’s headquarters, the FBI, the Southern District of Florida and the Southern District of New York “are working around the clock through the holidays, including Christmas and New Years, to review documents in compliance with federal law.”
On Christmas Eve, the Department of Justice announced that it had received the additional batches of the Epstein Files from SDNY and the FBI.

YouTuber Nick Shirley has revealed he’s receiving death threats and warnings that he’ll be “Kirked,” a sinister reference to being assassinated, following his viral video that uncovered over $110 million in alleged taxpayer-funded fraud at Somali-run daycare centers in Minnesota
Shirley, 23, who documented empty daycares raking in millions while showing no signs of actual childcare, appeared on the “PBD Podcast” on Wednesday and detailed the harassment, including doxxing of his family and being stalked by Somalis during filming.
The independent journalist’s explosive 42-minute video, published last week, has garnered over 132 million views.

In the footage, Shirley and his team visit multiple daycare facilities in the Minneapolis area, home to one of the largest Somali populations in the U.S., only to find locked doors, no children in sight, and signs of abandonment despite these centers receiving massive government subsidies.
One center alone reportedly pocketed $4 million in taxpayer dollars, with Shirley estimating the total fraud uncovered in a single day at over $110 million.
On the PBD Podcast, hosted by Patrick Bet-David, Shirley described the intense fallout from his exposé.
“I’ve been getting death threats,” Shirley said. “People are telling me I’m going to get Kirked.”
“They’re saying, ‘You’re going to be Kirked … you’ll be the next Kirk.’ And it’s just like, are you kidding me? I hate what’s happening right now,” Shirley said. “I feel bad for my family, honestly, because we didn’t do anything wrong, and yet you guys are coming after me like I’m some sort of villain. My little sister is getting phone calls [from the news]. I’m like, why are you guys doing this?”
The term “Kirked” is a dark reference to the September assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk.

Shirley also discussed how his team was followed by Somalis while filming, an Indian news outlet doxxed his home address and his father’s identity, and his family has faced harassment.
“Don’t talk to my family. I mean, some news in India, they doxed my home. They doxed my dad. It was really weird. And I haven’t even told my dad about that because I just don’t want to even bother him about it,” he added.
Shirley continued, “Are you guys kidding me? Why are you guys coming after somebody for going against fraud? I didn’t make this a right or left issue. I just showed you guys that fraud was happening. And now you guys are coming after me. You’re saying I’ll be the next Kirk. You’re literally stopping at intersections and coming after me and trying to attack me.”

RINO Ohio Governor Mike DeWine’s office has brushed off growing concerns about potential massive fraud in taxpayer-funded daycare centers, particularly in Columbus, which boasts the second-largest Somali population in the United States, as simply “the cost of doing business.”
The governor’s office said that attempts to use daycare centers for fraud in Ohio have been “known to the state for decades,” and implied that those who did not think it was an issue are naive.
Speaking to the Columbus Dispatch, Dan Tierney, DeWine’s spokesperson, denied any recent “surge” in fraud but acknowledged that the governor’s office is aware of public interest in the matter.
“If people are out there who could not contemplate that people were trying to defraud the public through day care centers, I understand it’s new to them … but it’s been known to the state for decades,” Tierney said. “So therefore, we have robust anti-fraud measures to try and stop this, this is something that is unfortunately the cost of doing business.”

The Washington Monument is the home of a New Year’s Eve show in Washington, D.C. tonight, and it will serve as the “world’s tallest birthday candle” as America enters its 250th year since the country’s founding on July 4, 1776. 
“Tonight, we’re marking a once-in-a-generation moment of our country, and the Washington Monument is going to be lit up as the world’s tallest birthday candle,” Keith Krach, CEO of Freedom 250, the presidential committee planning the country’s 250th birthday celebration, said.
“This is only the second time in the history of the Washington Monument that it’s been lit up like this,” he continued.
“President Trump pledged that America’s 250th birthday would be a celebration worthy of our history, our values, and our future, so you know, freedom 250 was created to help deliver on that promise, and tonight kicks that off, and it’s really about bringing Americans together to celebrate the triumph of the American spirit.”

Tests of the light show earlier in the week showed a phenomenal display as the White House prepared to tell the story of America.
Interior Secretary Doug Burgum on Tuesday shared a photo of the monument lit up with stars, stripes, and a vertical “250” displayed on the National Mall.
“America’s 250th birthday kicks off on New Year’s Eve! Come join other patriots starting tomorrow night at the Washington Monument to celebrate,” he said.

The White House communications team shared additional photos of the projections that will be shown, including excerpts from the Declaration of Independence and footage from the moon landing.

Per the New York Post:
A spokesperson for the group told The Post revelers can expect imagery of George Washington crossing the Delaware River and Christopher Columbus’ voyage to the New World.
A “sweeping visual narrative” of the country’s founding and history will be projected on the Washington Monument every night through Jan. 5.
According to the event flyer, fireworks shows will be held at 12:01 am ET on New Year’s Eve and at 7:55 pm ET on January 5. Live acts will play “at the top of every hour” starting at 7 pm ET tonight.

As New Year’s Eve celebrations begin across the United States, law enforcement agencies are increasing security measures in major cities.
The increase in security comes one year after a terrorist drove a vehicle bearing an ISIS flag into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans.
In a joint bulletin, the FBI and DHS warned agents that lone wolves and small terrorist groups pose the greatest threat at large gatherings on New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Law enforcement agencies in the DMV are conducting security measures to prevent possible vehicle attacks at New Year’s Eve events.

A new warning regarding possible vehicle attacks on New Year’s Eve has been issued by federal law enforcement officials.
Now, police officials in the DMV tell FOX 5 that they’re taking it seriously and plan to have increased security around the New Year’s celebrations.
It’s all in addition to their increased DUI enforcement.The assistant chief of the Montgomery County Police Department tells FOX 5 they have already made 140 drunk driving arrests since Thanksgiving, and 24 last week alone.
Police in both Montgomery County and D.C. tell FOX 5 that they are tracking a New Year’s threat assessment by the FBI and Homeland Security. It warns law enforcement to be on guard and remain vigilant in case of possible terror attacks.
A particular concern is vehicle attacks like the one that killed 14 people in New Orleans last New Year’s Day.
In New Orleans, hundreds of National Guard members have been deployed on Bourbon Street.
National Guard Humvees have been spotted in the French Quarter, blocking off entryways to iconic streets where thousands will be bringing in the New Year.

A Somali daycare manager on Tuesday claimed all “important documents” were stolen from Nokomis Day Care Center in Minneapolis after a mysterious break-in.
Nokomis Day Care Center was one of the Somali-owned daycare centers featured in journalist Nick Shirley’s video reporting on widespread fraud in the Somali community.
Nick Shirley uncovered at least $110 million in Somali daycare fraud in one day.
The manager, Nasrulah Mohamed, blamed Nick Shirley for the break-in; however, no one is buying the claims.
“Yesterday morning, I was called by the owner because, unfortunately, someone came into our daycare… we saw that the suspect came in from the back and broke in from the back kitchen, and he also destroyed the wall to come in,” Mohamed said.
“Our office doors was broke into as well. We saw that, unfortunately, important documentation, enrollment of the children, and also employee documentation, that was gone! There were also checkbooks that were ripped,” he said.
Mohamed continued, “This is devastating news! And we don’t know why this is targeting our Somali community, as one video made by a specific individual made this all happen,” he said, blaming journalist Nick Shirley for exposing some of the daycare fraud.
Mohamed claimed his daycare is receiving threatening messages because of Nick Shirley’s reporting.
“This is frightening and exhausting,” he said. “This is also sad that a video could cause all of this.

The Somalis showed CBS News where the vandals supposedly broke into the facility.
The burglars just knew exactly where to go and conveniently stole only the “important documents” – the documents that could expose the fraud.
Were the vandals also wearing red MAGA hats and shouting, “This is MAGA country!”?
