Far-Left Palestinian Activist Mahmoud Khalil Will Finally Be Deported to Algeria, DHS Confirms

The pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil is expected to be re-detained and deported to Algeria, the Department of Homeland Security has announced.
The Trump administration has long sought his removal over his role in organizing the pro-Palestinian riots at Columbia University.
Khalil has fought the move in court for months, arguing that deportation would somehow violate constitutional protections for permanent residents.
That effort suffered a setback last week when a federal appeals court reversed a lower court ruling that had secured his release from immigration detention.
“It looks like he’ll go to Algeria. That’s what the thought is right now,” said Tricia McLaughlin, DHS assistant secretary for public affairs, speaking on Katie Pavlich Tonight.
McLaughlin said the case carried a broader message for non-citizens.
“It’s a reminder for those who are in this country on a visa or on a green card,” she continued. You are a guest in this country — act like it.”
“It is a privilege, not a right, to be in this country to live or to study.”

Last week, the 3rd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled 2–1 to overturn a previous order that freed Khalil from custody.

He was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents in March last year.
His detention marked the first campus arrest linked to the Trump administration’s crackdown on foreign nationals involved in far-left activism.

The administration maintains that Khalil supports Hamas, a designated terrorist organization, and provided false information during his permanent residency application.
Speaking at a rally in June, Khalil described himself as a “freedom fighter”
“Who is Mahmoud Khalil? … Mahmoud Khalil is a human rights defender. Mahmoud Khalil is a freedom fighter.
“Mahmoud Khalil is a refugee. Mahmoud Khalil is a father and husband, and above all, Mahmoud Khalil is Palestinian.”
Khalil has filed a $20 million claim against the Trump administration, accusing them of false imprisonment and malicious prosecution.

Mahmoud Khalil is again leading antisemitic chants outside of Columbia University now that he was wrongly freed by an activist judge.
Khalil is a radical jihadist. So is his gross wife. They both need to be deported along with their child.

The House of Representatives once again narrowly rejected a Venezeula War Powers resolution to block President Trump from further military action.
The vote was 215-215 tie, so it failed to pass.
RINO Reps. Don Bacon and Thomas Massie joined the Democrats.

Last week Senate Republicans struck down a war powers resolution that would have blocked President Trump from using military force against Venezuela.
The Senate previously voted 52-47 to advance a war powers resolution to limit President Trump’s military actions in Venezuela.
Five Republican senators previously joined the Democrats to advance the resolution: Young (IN), Murkowski (AK), Collins (ME), Rand Paul (KY), and Hawley (MO).
However, last Wednesday, two Republican Senators – Hawley (MO) and Young (IN) flipped and voted to strike down the resolution.

Thursday’s vote comes after President Trump ordered military strikes on Venezuela and captured Nicolas Maduro.
Maduro was indicted on four counts by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York.
    Read the indictment here.
President Trump previously announced that Venezuela would give the United States between 30 and 50 million barrels of oil.
Trump said the oil will be sold at market price.

Meanwhile, the EU Globalist leaders, while relieved by Trump moving to negotiations on Greenland, nervously gathered for an ‘emergency summit’ in Brussels.
They say Europe’s relationship with Washington, though still crucial, had taken a hit.
If they had paid attention to the National Security Strategy that was released by the White House in early December 2025, they would have seen it all coming, and maybe could have prepared for it.
But no, Euro-Globalists are ALWAYS taken by surprise, running to yet another ‘emergency summit’.
Macron, Merz, Starmer and the other ‘leaders’ try to counter unstoppable Trump.
    Reuters reported:
“’Things are quietening down and we should welcome that,” French President Emmanuel Macron said, describing the chaos of the past days that saw Trump issue major threats against Greenland and Europe before pulling back from those threats, saying a deal was in sight. We remain extremely vigilant and ready to use the instruments at our disposal should we find ourselves the target of threats again’, Macron told reporters, ‌referring to ‘bazooka’ trade sanctions the bloc had considered using.”
Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen is ready to discuss ‍security ‘cooperation in Greenland’ with the United States, but insists on respect for their sovereignty.
‘We have to work together respectfully without threatening each other’, she said.”

President Trump on Thursday said he is sending a “massive armada” toward Iran amid the ongoing political uprising and the Iranian regime’s murder of its citizens.
Iranian state TV said on Wednesday that 3,117 people have been killed since December 27. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi also issued a threat to the United States that the Islamic Republic will be “firing back with everything we have if we come under renewed attack.”
“Unlike the restraint Iran showed in June 2025, our powerful armed forces have no qualms about firing back with everything we have if we come under renewed attack,” Araghchi wrote, referring to the 12-day war launched by Israel on Iran in June. “This isn’t a threat, but a reality I feel I need to convey explicitly, because as a diplomat and a veteran, I abhor war,” Araghchi said. “An all-out confrontation will certainly be ferocious and drag on far, far longer than the fantasy timelines that Israel and its proxies are trying to peddle to the White House. It will certainly engulf the wider region and have an impact on ordinary people around the globe.”
While speaking to reporters on Air Force One from Davos, Switzerland, Trump gave an update on Iran, telling reporters, “We have a lot of ships going that direction, just in case. We have a big flotilla going in that direction. And we’ll see what happens.”
“I’d rather not see anything happen, but we’re watching them very closely. I stopped 837 hangings on Thursday. They would have been dead. Every one of them would have been hung,” Trump continued, noting that the Iranian culture is “ancient” with tactics “like from 1000 years ago.”
“But we have an armada,” the President said. “We have a massive fleet heading in that direction, and maybe we won’t have to use it. We’ll see.”
Trump further said he wants to meet with Iranian officials, but doubled down on threats to strike them if they do not make a deal or if they try to rebuild the nuclear facilities hit by US forces last July.
The President also said he still plans to impose 25% tariffs on countries that do business with Iran, starting “very soon.”
    WATCH:
Reporter: Where the things stand with Iran?
Trump: We’re watching Iran. You know, we have a lot of ships going that direction, just in case. We have a big flotilla going in that direction. And we’ll see what happens. We have a big force going toward Iran. I’d rather not see anything happen, but we’re watching them very closely. I stopped 837 hangings on Thursday. They would have been dead. Every one of them would have been hung. This is like from 1000 years ago. This is an ancient culture. Very smart people, by the way, but it’s an ancient culture. 837 mostly young men were going to be hung on Thursday.
And I said, if you hang those people, you’re going to be hit harder than you’ve ever been hit. It’ll make what we did to your Iran nuclear look like peanuts. At an hour before this horrible thing was going to take place, they canceled it, and they actually said they canceled it. They didn’t postpone it. They canceled it, so that was a good sign. But we have an armada. We have a massive— we have a massive fleet heading in that direction, and maybe we won’t have to use it. We’ll see.
Reporter: Would you like the supreme leader to step down or to call an exile—
Trump: I don’t want to say right now. I don’t want to get into that, but they know what we’re looking for. There’s a lot of killing going on.
Reporter: You said today they want to talk, and we’ll talk. So, have you set something up? Have they asked you—
Trump: Yeah I do. I would. You know, we’ve talked to them a lot. They should have made a deal before we hit them with the nuclear because we really meant— that was a devastating hit. That whole area is out of play. And if they try and do it again, they’re gonna have to go to another area. We’ll hit them there too, just as easily, much more easily, because that was very advanced. They were building that for 10 years, and they’d have to start anew. That was a total obliteration.
Reporter: Are you still planning to go ahead on the secondary tariffs for those affected by business with Iran, the 25% tariffs?
Trump: I am doing that. Yeah, we’re doing that. If you do business with Iran, you can have a tariff with 25%.

On Tuesday, the USS Abraham Lincoln, which had been in the South China Sea in recent days, was spotted making its way to the region, according to ship-tracking data.
The aircraft carrier and three accompanying destroyers were all confirmed to be heading west, a US Navy official told the Associated Press.
The USS George H.W. Bush is also at sea in the Atlantic Ocean – bound for Europe – after departing from Virginia’s Naval Station Norfolk last week.
The aircraft carrier is conducting “live-fire exercises” and other training activities, per a post on the ship’s official Facebook page.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, Trump last week told reporters that he would not strike Iran after they canceled the hanging of over 800 protesters. “As you know, Iran canceled the hanging of over 800 people,” he said, adding, “I greatly respect the fact that they canceled them.”

  • INSA Poll: Half of Germans Say Migration Is the “Country’s Biggest Problem,” Majority See Economic Decline and Free Speech Under Threat

INSA Poll: Half of Germans Say Migration Is the “Country’s Biggest Problem,” Majority See Economic Decline and Free Speech Under Threat

Migrants line up in Germany in 2015 – wiki commons
Germany is approaching a political breaking point, and the public knows it—even if the anti-German, anti-European ruling class refuses to act.
A sweeping new survey has confirmed what millions of ordinary Germans experience daily for over a decade now: mass migration has become the country’s most pressing crisis, eclipsing foreign wars, climate rhetoric, and elite talking points.
According to a new poll carried out by INSA, half of the German population now identifies migration as the single biggest problem facing the nation. That assessment comes despite years of mainstream media minimization and demonization of alternative viewpoints, and official government messaging insisting the issue is exaggerated or “solved.”
What makes the poll’s results particularly striking is that this concern cuts across political lines. While 83 percent of Alternative for Germany (AfD) voters rank migration as Germany’s top challenge, substantial shares of voters from other parties quietly agree—even if they continue voting for pro-mass migration platforms.
Among supporters of the liberal-centrist Christian Democratic Union/Christian Social Union, half now say migration is the country’s most serious issue. Even voters aligned with the left-wing nationalist BSW register a majority level of concern, undermining the claim that opposition to mass migration is a fringe—or expressly conservative or right-wing—position.
On the liberal left, denial remains stronger but not total. Roughly one-third of Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) voters and nearly a quarter of Alliance 90/The Greens voters acknowledge migration as the nation’s primary problem—a remarkable admission given those parties’ central role in relentlessly pushing open-border policies and persecuting those who opposed them.
These numbers expose a growing contradiction in German politics that has become impossible to ignore. Large numbers of voters recognize the damage caused by uncontrolled migration yet continue to support parties that actively expand it, suggesting political paralysis driven by fear, habit, or left-globalist media pressure.
That paralysis is all the more alarming given recent immigration figures. Despite public opposition, the federal government admitted nearly 400,000 non-EU migrants in 2025 alone, compounding pressure on housing, welfare systems, schools, and public safety—costs overwhelmingly borne by hardworking German taxpayers.
The same INSA survey shows that 65% of Germans believe the country is now in clear economic decline, with bankruptcies rising and industrial competitiveness eroding.
This worrying pessimism also spans the Right-Left political spectrum. Even among Green and SPD voters—groups most invested in the current economic and migration model—around half acknowledge that Germany’s economy is moving in the wrong direction.
Freedom of expression, once taken for granted in postwar Germany, is also seen as increasingly fragile. A majority of respondents—56%—now say freedom of opinion is under threat, with concern especially pronounced in eastern Germany, where distrust of elite institutions runs deepest.
Among AfD supporters, alarm over speech restrictions is overwhelming. More than four out of five AfD voters say they fear they can no longer speak freely—an indictment of a political culture that increasingly equates any form of dissent with ‘extremism’.
In contrast, voters aligned with the left-liberal globalist Greens and FDP largely deny any such threat, reflecting a widening experiential divide between Germany’s governing class and those who live with the consequences of its policies.
The polling numbers also explain the current electoral momentum. AfD now leads nationally with 26%, edging ahead of the Union parties and far outpacing the governing coalition, whose credibility continues to erode.

    Germany, INSA poll:
    AfD-ESN: 26%
    CDU/CSU-EPP: 25%
    SPD-S&D: 14%
    GRÜNE-G/EFA: 12%
    LINKE-LEFT: 10.5% (-0.5)
    FDP-RE: 4%
    BSW-NI: 4%
    +/- vs. 12-16 January 2026
    Fieldwork: 16-19 January 2026
    Sample size: 2004
    ➤ https://t.co/obOCVirbpF pic.twitter.com/E9bycx3hDz
    — Europe Elects (@EuropeElects) January 22, 2026

More importantly, INSA notes that AfD possesses the most loyal voter base in the country, with the highest proportion of “secure voters.” This suggests that the AfD’s ascendency isn’t just a protest wave, but a durable political realignment driven by lived experience.
Previous surveys reinforce the same conclusion. A separate YouGov poll found majority support among Germans for a immigration moratorium (stopping all immigration for a specified period) and large-scale deportations—policies still treated as some kind of taboo by establishment parties.
The picture that emerges is unmistakable. Germany’s population understands that mass migration is undermining social cohesion, economic stability, and democratic trust, yet the political system remains locked in ideological inertia.
For hardworking German taxpayers, the injustice could not be clearer. They are asked to fund ever expanding social welfare systems that mainly help illegal aliens and foreigners, absorb declining services, and accept rising insecurity—while being told their concerns are illegitimate or immoral.

WATCH: Rep Troy Nehls GOES OFF on Jack Smith and Dirty J6 Cops, Warns New J6 Committee will “Actually Examine” January 6 – Michael Fanone Tells Nehls “Go F*ck Yourself” then Flips Him Off

During an explosive House Judiciary Committee hearing on Thursday, Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) grilled former Special Counsel Jack Smith and four former DC cops in attendance, vowing accountability and a real investigation by the new Select Committee into the events on January 6.
Former DC Metropolitan Police Michael Fanone and Daniel Hodges, and former Capitol Police Aquilino Gonell and Harry Dunn were invited to sit in the front row at the hearing to back Smith’s testimony and support his assault on the US Constitution.
Nehls’s comments caused the dirty cops and the Democrats to unravel, Fanone interrupting him mid-speech to say, “Go f*ck yourself,” disguising his words with a fake cough. He later appeared to cough, “bullsh*t” when admonished by Committee Chairman Jim jordan.
But it didn’t end there. Eventually, Fanone openly flipped Nehls off after he gave the floor to GOP Rep. Jefferson Van Drew of New Jersey.
Nehls later responded, “Mr. Fanone, you need medication!”

The Gateway Pundit reported on Fanone’s antics during the hearing on Thursday, where he screamed profanities and threatened another attendee, then flipped Nehls off.
What prompted the disgraceful behavior was Nehls telling the ex-DC cops that the new January 6 Select Committee is going to “actually examine what happened that day, and I can tell you, gentlemen, that the fault does not lie with Donald Trump. It lies with Yogananda Pittman and the US Capitol leadership team.”
He earlier tore into Jack Smith for weaponizing the government against Republican Lawmakers and President Trump. “You tried to criminalize political speech, slap unlawful gag orders on a presidential candidate, and spy on Republican members of Congress in violation of the Speech or Debate Clause, including the sitting Speaker of the House,” Nehls said. “This wasn’t, Mr. Smith, about upholding the law. It was about tearing down President Trump and anyone, anyone close to him. You even tried to ram through a politically motivated final report after your cases collapsed, including the Presidential Transition Act and basic fairness.”
Nehls continued, “Here’s the good part. The American people saw right through it. They rejected, sir, your witch hunt loud and clear in November, handing President Trump a commanding victory. The voters spoke loud and clear. They wanted an end to the weaponization of our justice system.”
“We know the Capitol Leadership team, specifically Yogananda Pittman, had the intelligence, and there was going to be a high propensity for violence that day. And the Capitol itself was the target. We knew the extremist groups were going to be there,” Nehls told the former cops. “We know what the committee wanted to do is to not allow Donald Trump to come back and win again. And they failed, and they failed miserably, and I hope you now can see that.”
And when Jefferson Van Drew was delivering brief remarks, another shouting match ensued, with Ranking Member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) also becoming unhinged and interrupting to blame President Trump for the security failures on January 6.

    Transcript:
Nehls: Mr. Smith, I’ll just cut right to the chase here your investigation and attempted prosecution of President Trump, it wasn’t about justice. It was about politics, politics. From day one, under the Biden Harris DOJ, you weaponized the law to go after their top political opponent. You push flawed legal theories, and even the far left Washington Post called you out. They called you out, sir, for violating the First Amendment. You tried to criminalize political speech, slap unlawful gag orders on a presidential candidate, and spy on Republican members of Congress in violation of the Speech or Debate Clause, including the sitting Speaker of the House.
Mr. Smith, you mishandled documents, pressured defense lawyers, and dumped a massive trove of so-called evidence right before the election. And you did it, you did it to sway voters! That’s why you did it. And don’t get me started on that raid at Mar Lago or your unconstitutional appointment, which a federal judge in Florida rightly tossed out, a very bad day for you. This wasn’t, Mr. Smith, about upholding the law. It was about tearing down President Trump and anyone, anyone close to him. You even tried to ram through a politically motivated final report after your cases collapsed, including the Presidential Transition Act and basic fairness.
But here’s the good part, America! Here’s the good part. The American people saw right through it. They rejected, sir, your witch hunt loud and clear in November, handing President Trump a commanding victory. The voters spoke loud and clear. They wanted an end to the weaponization of our justice system. In your opening statement, you spoke about proof beyond a reasonable doubt. Mr. Smith, I will give you proof beyond a reasonable doubt: Donald Trump winning the popular vote by over 2 million votes, the electoral college by 85 votes, along with every single swing state. Now, sir, that is proof beyond a reasonable doubt that the crap you were shoveling did not pass the smell test with the American people. To put it bluntly, Mr. Smith, the stink remains on you.
And lastly, I would like to quickly address the police officers of January 6. Mr. Don, Mr. Fanone, Mr. Gonell, Mr. Hodges, I’m a member of the new select committee to actually examine, actually examine, what happened that day, and I can tell you, gentlemen, that the fault does not lie with Donald Trump. It lies with Yogananda Pittman and the US Capitol leadership team. We know, we know they had the intelligence—
    Fanone: Go f*ck yourself.
Nehls: And there was going to be a high propensity for violence that day.
Jordan: You will be in order. The time belongs to the gentleman from Texas. We’ve had some disruptions already. We don’t need that.
    Fanone: Bullsh*t
    Jordan: The gentleman may continue.
Nehls: We know the Capitol Leadership team, specifically Yogananda Pittman, had the intelligence, and there was going to be a high propensity for violence that day. And the Capitol itself was the target. We knew the extremist groups were going to be there. And why do I say that? It was your own report from your intelligence section, the IICD, which was run by Pittman in the January 3 special event section. It was in it. It was in it. And Mr. Dunn, I believe that you thought that day would be like just any other. In your testimony to the January 6 committee, you said you found out how he was going to get on a cell phone. Somebody sent you some information on social media. The point is, you were all unprepared to deal with that day, and that’s because your leadership failed to share the intelligence with you.
It was their fault, folks. It was their fault. It was not President Trump, and we are going to expose it for the first time because the Benny Thompson, the sham committee didn’t do it. The sham committee didn’t do it! The report is 845 pages. Donald Trump’s name is mentioned 4,207 times. We know what the committee wanted to do is to not allow Donald Trump to come back and win again. And they failed, and they failed miserably, and I hope you now can see that.
Van Drew: I just want to quickly go over something, because we keep rewriting history. The President said, “peacefully and patriotically.” What don’t we understand about peacefully and patriotically? He asked for the National Guard. That was ignored. He asked Speaker Pelosi. What don’t we understand that?
Raskin: Are you saying Nancy Pelosi controls the National Guard? The president could have ordered the National Guard if he wanted to, and you know that!
Van Drew: And finally, how many elected officials say we’re going to fight to win an election, skew terminology used all the time, seriously. And of course, if they were guilty, they should be prosecuted. The problem was there were many in the mix.

JURY NULLIFICATION: BREAKING: Far-Left Jury in Chicago Finds Latin Kings Gang Leader Who Ordered “Murder-For-Hire” Plot of Border Patrol Leader Bovino NOT GUILTY

    Another case of jury nullification.
A far-left jury in Chicago found Juan Espinoza Martinez, the Latin Kings gang leader who put a $10,000 hit against Border Patrol leader Greg Bovino not guilty.
In October, Espinoza Martinez, a high-ranking Latin Kings gang member in Chicago was charged in a federal murder-for-hire plot targeting a U.S. Border Patrol senior officer leading “Operation Midway Blitz,” according to a criminal complaint unsealed in the Northern District of Illinois.
Federal prosecutors allege that Juan Espinoza Martinez, a known Latin Kings leader known by his street name “Monkey”, offered a $10,000 reward for the murder of a senior Border Patrol official and an additional $2,000 for information on his whereabout.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem revealed on “Fox & Friends” that specific law enforcement officers have bounties on them put out by cartel members, terrorist organizations, and gangs.
“Intelligence indicates that these people are organized. They are getting more and more people on their team as far as attacking officers and they are making plans to ambush them and to kill them,” Noem said.
“We have specific officers and agents that have bounties that have been put out on their heads. It’s been $2,000 to kidnap them, $10,000 to kill them. They’ve released their pictures. They’ve sent them between their networks and it’s an extremely dangerous situation and unprecedented,” Noem warned.
According to Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Special Agent Christopher Perugini, Martinez used Snapchat to send a photograph of the target to a gang associate along with the chilling message in Spanish: “2k on info cuando lo agarren” — meaning “$2,000 on information when you get him.”
On Thursday, after deliberating for four hours, the jury found Espinoza Martinez not guilty.
“A man accused of offering a $10,000 bounty over Snapchat for the life of a top Border Patrol leader was found not guilty on Thursday in the first criminal trial stemming from the Chicago-area immigration crackdown that started last year,” the Associated Press reported.
“Jurors deliberated less than 4 hours before returning the favorable verdict for 37-year-old Juan Espinoza Martinez. He faced one count of murder-for-hire and up to 10 years in prison if convicted,” AP reported.
Testimony lasted mere hours in the federal trial that was the latest test of the Trump administration’s credibility on federal surges that have played out from Minnesota to Maine,” AP reported.

IT’S OFFICIAL! After 77 Years, U.S. Finally WITHDRAWS from the Globalist World Health Organization — Reclaims National Sovereignty from Unelected Bureaucrats

After 77 years, the United States has officially severed ties with the corrupt, China-influenced, and globalist-controlled World Health Organization (WHO).
President Donald Trump, fulfilling a promise he made to the American people, completed the withdrawal on Thursday, exactly one year after signing the executive order that set the wheels in motion.
The controversial Ethiopian politician and Director General of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, practically begged the United States to rejoin the UN-run agency after Trump signed the executive order.
This bold move strips away the shackles of globalist control, ending decades of U.S. taxpayers footing the bill for an organization riddled with incompetence, bias, and failures that cost countless lives during the COVID-19 catastrophe.
The WHO, long criticized as a puppet of Communist China, bungled the early response to the Wuhan virus, parroting Beijing’s lies and pushing the experimental vaccines to the entire world.
For decades, the WHO has demanded billions of American taxpayer dollars while pushing radical agendas, failed pandemic treaties, and draconian lockdowns. They wanted to control your doctor, your medications, and your ability to travel.

Trump’s first administration tried to withdraw in 2020, but globalist sympathizer Joe Biden reversed it after stealing the White House.
Now, with Trump back in charge after a landslide 2024 victory, America is finally free from the unelected bureaucrats.
    Reuters reported:
According to a press release from the U.S. Health and State Departments, the U.S. will only work with the WHO in a limited fashion in order to effectuate the withdrawal.
“We have no plans to participate as an observer, and we have no plans of rejoining,” a senior government health official said. The U.S. said it plans to work directly with other countries – rather than through an international organization – on disease surveillance and other public health priorities.
    […]
“The American people have paid more than enough,” a State Department spokesperson said in an email earlier on Thursday.
The Department of Health and Human Services said in a document released on Thursday that the government had ended its funding contributions to the agency. Trump had exercised his authority to pause the future transfer of any U.S. government resources to the WHO because the organization had cost the U.S. trillions of dollars, the HHS spokesperson said.
The U.S. flag had been removed from outside the WHO headquarters in Geneva on Thursday, according to witnesses.

FIREWORKS! Rep. Darrell Issa LIGHTS UP Jack Smith for Targeting Political Enemies, Misleading Judge in Arctic Frost Investigation – Jamie Raskin LOSES IT (VIDEO)

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) destroyed former Special Counsel Jack Smith on Thursday over his weaponization of government against Republican lawmakers, forcing him to admit that he withheld the targets of his Arctic Frost investigation from a Judge when obtaining subpoenas for lawmakers’ phone records.
Smith came under fire from Republicans for targeting Trump with bogus investigations and election interference lawfare, as well as spying on Republican lawmakers and conservatives to dig up dirt on Trump and prevent him from becoming President again.
Joe Biden’s FBI and Jack Smith spied on ten Republican Senators, four Republican House Members, and other Trump allies during the ‘Arctic Frost’ investigation into January 6.
Rep. Issa displayed a list of the Republican members of Congress who were targeted by Jack Smith’s weaponization probe. He then asked Jack Smith whether Democrats are criminals because they “believe things that just aren’t true,” and went on to school Smith on President Trump and GOP lawmakers’ First Amendment right to believe the 2020 election was stolen.
Eventually, after repeatedly dodging questions about whether or not he withheld the identities of the targets of his subpoenas from the judge who granted them, Committee Ranking Member Rep. Jamie Raskin (MD) lost his mind, interrupting Smith’s examination as Issa tried to pry the answers out of Smith.
Finally, Smith admitted, “We did not provide that information to the judge.”
Issa closed his examination of Smith, telling Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, “We have the evidence that an Article I representative, on behalf of the president, withheld from that Article III that information! With that, I yield back in disgust of this witness.”

    Transcript:
Issa: Do you see people who are committing crimes because they continue to believe things that just aren’t true. That’s paraphrasing Ronald Reagan that liberals aren’t stupid. They just know things that don’t happen to be true. If the President believe that he was cheated in an election, that there was fraud or, in some other way, a number of items led to his defeat, when in fact, he should have won, according to the Constitution. Does that make him a criminal?
    Smith: Sir, uh–
Issa: No, that’s a yes or no, please, Mr. Smith. These people here are continuing to grapple constantly in the things that are true like socialism works, or that, somehow, everything Republicans do is evil, and everything they do is right. They’ve never reached a conclusion in a typical partisan case, in which we’re not evil because we think something different and we’re not wrong. You understand the Constitution. Do you understand the Bill of Rights, that somebody has the absolute right to believe something, whether it’s true or not, and to advocate for something whether it’s true or not? Do you understand that in addition to your oath to the Constitution, that that’s one of the things the First Amendment allows for, isn’t it?
    Smith: Yes, sir.
Issa: Okay? So, if you know that people have a right to opine, lobby for, assert, do everything they can legally to ask for people to make different decisions, then, why is it you saw criminal conduct on behalf of a President who believed he didn’t win. Chairman Jordan and myself have something in common wrong with a number of others here. We saw wrongdoing, and on January 6, we voted not to confirm two states because they had violated the US Constitution in how they selected who got ballots. And yet, you’re going to come here and say, “Well, I just followed the law.” When you went after these people, and you said, “Well, technically, I can do that,” you didn’t see any selective nature or any separation of powers under the Constitution to spying on the activities and the conversations of the Speaker of the House? To what end the conversations between the speaker of the US House, second in line to being president, and the president? In what basis would it be any of your business, other than you believe that there was a conspiracy, without conspiracy as a basic premise? You like the President’s Men, for Richard Nixon, went after your political enemies, maybe not your political enemies, but they sure as hell were Joe Biden’s political enemies, weren’t they? They were Harris’s political enemies. They were the enemies of the President, and you were their arm, weren’t you?
    Smith: No.
Issa: No? Oh, great! so you spied on the Speaker the House and these other senators, and so on, and informed no one, and in fact, put in a gag order so they couldn’t discover it. If they were not subjects of conspiracy investigation, why did Congress, a separate branch that you, under the Constitution, have to respect? Why is it that no one should be informed, including the judges? As you went in to spy on these people, did you mention that you were spying on, seeking records, so you could find out about when conversations occurred between the US Speaker the House and the President? Did you inform the judge, or did you hold that back?
Smith: My office didn’t spy on anyone–
Issa: Wait a second, the question I asked you, Mr. Smith, was pretty straightforward. Did you withhold that information from an Article III Judge in the process of taking the records of the Speaker of the House?
    Smith: We complied with department–
Issa: Did you hold back that information?
Raskin: Mr. Chairman, would you please instruct the gentleman to allow the witness to answer the question?
Issa: It’s not your time. I’d like my time back–
Raskin: Mr. Chairman, you’ve repeatedly done that in the past. The witness has the right to answer the question.
Issa: And there’ll be due time to answer the question. Would you please put my time back and let me finish this? Mr. Smith, I asked you a question. You were not responsive to it, and I want you to be responsive to it. Did you— whether you think it was legal or not, whether you think was right or not— did you withhold the name of Kevin McCarthy, Speaker of the House, when you were seeking records on Kevin McCarthy, the Speaker of the House, or Jim Jordan, the chairman of this committee?
Smith: We did not provide that information to the judge when we requested a nondisclosure order, consistent with the law and consistent with department policy.
Issa: I will be brief in my address to the chairman, we have the evidence that an Article I representative, on behalf of the president, withheld from that Article III that information! With that, I yield back in disgust of this witness.

House Passes Bill to Fund DHS in 220-207 Vote – Seven Democrats Back Measure, Massie Votes Against!

The House of Representatives on Thursday voted 220-207 to pass a Department of Homeland funding bill.
The bill funds the TSA and ICE.
GOP Rep. Thomas Massie voted against the measure.
Seven Democrats, including newly pardoned Rep Cuellar, voted to back the bill:
    – Marie Gluesenkamp Perez
    – Laura Gillen
    – Don Davis
    – Jared Golden
    – Henry Cuellar
    – Tom Suozzi
    – Vicente Gonzalez
    Fox News reported:
Seven Democrats voted with Republicans on Thursday to pass a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spending bill, despite opposition from their own leadership over unmet demands for additional guardrails on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) operations.
The DHS bill will be bundled alongside three other spending bills, totaling a combined $1.2 trillion in federal spending. The entire package’s passing is a significant step toward averting a government shutdown come Jan. 30.
Lawmakers in the House of Representatives voted on two separate packages on Thursday afternoon. One groups together three spending bills to fund the departments of War, Education, Labor, Transportation and Health and Human Services. The second is a standalone bill funding DHS, which includes ICE.
The DHS bill passed by a 220-207 vote with the help of seven Democrats. Only one Republican, Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky., voted in opposition. The larger package passed with much broader bipartisan support in a 341-88 vote, with 149 Democrats joining Republicans to pass it.
Most Democrats bucked the DHS funding legislation after House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., and other top Democrats said they were opposed to the bill due to insufficient restrictions against President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown.
